We would definitely stay here again. It is a little south of all the activities, about 5 miles from the village. It is in a well maintained area of condos with a few eateries nearby. Design inside is nice, very modern. The staff were very helpful and recommended a great gin bar in the village called Brickworks. The rooms are simple, but thats pretty normal for a hostel. We were in a private queen which did have an ensuite, not all rooms do. Foam mattress was a little too firm (but thats just a personal preference). We couldn't get the TV to work. No AC, but there were fans. The price was good at $186 CAD, pretty close to half of what you would pay anywhere else in Whistler.

It's a pretty good hostel and a good price for the location. But it's not in whistler. There's a bus station right in front. It all feels like the hostel was amazing 5-10 years ago and wasn't maintained. It's still pretty good. But there's a few things that feel neglected. No real A/C in the rooms, shower curtain ripped, doors loud, vending machine empty, pool table in disrepair. It's still 4/5, but it could be better

Not in central whistler but I guess fine since you'll most likely have a car. I was there in early Sep but occupancy was only about 30%. It's a huge place with many common areas and balconies. It was actually quite sad to see this place semi deserted as I'm sure it would've been amazing with a different vibe. The facilities are decent and priced fairly.

It was very disappointing experience for us . Firstly , when we checked in the place there was no parking avalaible on the site or by the road . We had to park all the way to overflow parking which was 10 mins walk from the property. Then we entered in cold freezing room with no heater option avalaible . We had to wait for 4-5 hours to get the room temperature upto normal . After going through all that when i asked front desk for basic toothpaste and brush and they said we dont have it . 'This is not a 5 star hotel' is what they said . Its a basic facility for basic stay place whether it is a hostel or 5 star hotel. Front desk lady was super rude and probably should not work in hospitality. OVERALL , DONOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.

Stayed at HI Whistler and really enjoyed it! The place is clean, modern, and has a great social vibe with spacious common areas and a well-equipped common kitchen. It’s a bit outside the main village, but buses run regularly. There’s an on-site cafe which is convenient, but don’t expect too much, it’s decent for a quick bite. Overall, a solid budget-friendly stay in Whistler!

Physical ID was required, which I understand. However, the front desk staff was rude, and when I raised the concern to the manager, it was dismissed. This made the experience uncomfortable

Stinkiest dorm room I’ve ever encountered in my life. I honestly avoided going to bed for a while because I was fearing for my lungs lol. Kinda run down, and mildly rude service staff at the cheakys cafe. I don’t get it. 🤷🏻 Every other HI location I’ve been to (at least 3) have been excellent. This one not so much. Disappointing.

It's a great value for the location, even if you opt for a private room (which we did). We also drove, so being outside Whistler Village was not an issue. We even preferred being away from all that street noise. Memory foam mattress was firm & super comfy! Walls are thin, so other people can be heard - but you have to expect that in a hostel setting. Staff are super friendly & helpful.
