Hibiscus Apartments Fiji

We stayed in a 2 BR 2Bath for 3 weeks. While not trimmed out like a Hilton Hotel the||apartment is well appointed and spacious. King & Queen bedrooms, or clean and quite large with plenty of hot water showers. Location to NADI Airport,NADI town, Denarau Island, and other local resort entertainment facilities is relatively easy by taxi or rental car.||We enjoyed the spacious fully equipped kitchen and relaxing living room in apartment-style living.||There is a nearby meat market for us, beef eaters, to purchase specialty cuts of beef or pork.||||The only thing I suggested to management was to add an outdoor community BBQ grill||for holiday cookouts around the pool area. ||||Marie of the resort community offers attentive maid/laundry service as needed.|| Altaf Buksh the GM was helpful in other needs. Like WIFI and or other services he could offer for the 3 properties he manages. He communicates with all his guests well.||||We plan to return either in December or following January.||||PS: This is a gated community for safe parking and guest restrictions.

In my opinion and from experiences it is simply worst place to stay in Nadi. The customer service is poor and the manager is so rude. He keeps checking the pool area and does not give privacy to guests. Also the pool is very small and there is no open environment. The condition of the apartment is not appealing at all as the sink and washing machine pipe was linking, the air conditioner was not working, issues with TV as well. Our kitchen was flooded after the leakage and half of the trip was spoiled in fixing the issues. Alot of restrictions and rules by the manager and I simply do not recommend this for locals. Please pay more and stay at a more relaxing place than staying in this one.

One of my worst stays in Fiji, under the bedsheets were dirty, it took almost 2 weeks for them to give me a protector for the bed when i was asking everyday, which they said on day one it will come the next day. 3 window pieces were missing so the AC was going straight out of our bedroom. rotting fruit in the closet for some reason. When we went to Suva the owner or manager decided to go in our room and start reconstructing the cabinets, not only left a mess, but went it our apartment without informing us with other 3-4 other people! 3 months later he finally gave our bond money back. For $1500 i would look for other places.

Definitely recommending to anyone that is looking for an affordable place to stay and at the same time wanting so much space and privacy for themselves and their small family. Residence is very luxurious and surrounding community is so quiet with a great view of the Nadi International Airport runway ; getting to experience Huge airbuses take off and land right outside your balcony is just mesmerizing! A five min walk to Namaka Shopping Center and a two min walk to the main road which is honestly convenient!!

Our group stayed at the newest accomodation from the Hibiscus group - the Tabua Villa in Nadi. It was a huge house with 5 bedroom, wonderful beds, A/C, 2 living rooms with huge TVs and DVD players, laundry and a kitchen. Apart from a couple of teething issues (we were only the 2nd guests) - it was a great stay. It is in walking distance to restaurants (I recommend Tu's Place), a supermarket and cinemas. It had a nice swimming pool that had a leak and felt a little exposed - but they are working on both of those issues. |Internet was not set up and took a while to come, and would run out of data quickly. But the manager was helpful in those things. I would stay there again - especially if I came with a large family group or for meetings (which was my reason for booking this place).

If you are looking for self contained reasonable apartment for short stay then it is a good choice. It is definitely not a very posh apartment with all glamour perfect fittings in it but you have every basic thing you need. You don’t have a reception or help desk, just need to ring up the owner if required. He is friendly and always ready to help. Their standard checkin is at 13:00 since my flight arrival is 6am he agreed to checkin early which was good. They got gas stove top, washing machine, toaster, oven , fridge, tv, sofa, car port and basic kitchen utensils. Living room, bed rooms, cupboards are good. However washroom needs some maintenance. Most of their apartment bed rooms are located in first floor , so if you are traveling with kids, elderly people make sure it is fine. Bus stop is 5 mins walk, you need to go to either Nadi town or jet point to buy basic stuff as there is not a single shop at your neighborhood other than an Mc D (setting up) or If you hav rented a car then it’s great.

Biggest nightmare entering this property. It’s nothing like mentioned on its site. They turn hot water off whenever they want to, we had no hot water for 3 weeks. No wifi as mentioned. Broken chairs and floors. Air conditioning plays up. Got tv connected after a week after making several phone calls. No daily room service as mentioned cleaner only comes once a week but you have to find her to clean, she is no where to be seen most of the time Families please don’t book this apartment otherwise your holiday will be nightmare Altaf is the worst host in Fiji

Made a booking with this hotel and even though the policy stated "pay at hotel" they charged my credit card a full day stay. After cancelling the reservation 5 months before the scheduled start ("free cancellation up to 1 wk before reservation") I have yet to receive a refund. I had contacted the manager 'Altaf' several times and so did the booking agency, but he just gave us the run around. Be CAREFUL as you will be taken for a ride and you probably won't get your money back.
