We were absolutely satisfied with our stay at the Hibiscus Boutique Hotel. We deliberately chose a small, quiet 3-star hotel instead of a large resort, and that’s exactly what we got: plenty of space, no crowds, no fighting for sunbeds. The beach area, mostly accessible only to hotel guests, was always calm and never overcrowded.
The value for money is excellent. We knew we were booking a 3-star hotel, so we honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. The staff were always very friendly, helpful, and efficient, and the reception is staffed 24/7.
Our rental car handover was organized by an external company, but they were allowed to meet us directly at the hotel, which made the process extremely easy and convenient.
The room was clean, we received fresh beach and bath towels every day, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The food was freshly prepared, varied, and absolutely sufficient for us — even with a toddler. We also had lunch in the hotel’s bistro a few times, which was very good as well.
Regarding the rooftop bar noise mentioned in some reviews: yes, you can hear it — but we’re not in Switzerland, Germany, or Austria. 😉 Even with a toddler, we slept deeply and had no issues at all. The music always stopped around midnight, and after that it was quiet. A bit of nightlife and joy is part of the island vibe — we were actually happy for the people who got to celebrate.
We had a lovely room with sea, beach, and garden views and experienced no mosquito problems whatsoever. For us, the stay was perfect.
