We had a fantastic three-night stay at Hibiscus Garden Resort. We arrived from El Nido and were dropped at the resort directly, and the check-in process was really straightforward. The location is great, near plenty of decent food places and the tricycle drivers know it well so it's easy to get back (something that isn't always the case), but rooms are set back from the main road so very quiet at night. The staff are great and always very welcoming when walking around the resort. The rooms are really spacious, comfortable, great air-con, and a decent amount of storage available. The resort itself has a decent restaurant on site that can be charged to your room and paid on check out by card. The pool is a real bonus, much needed during hot days and with towels provided whenever they're needed. Also, beautifully lit at night making for a lovely feel to the resort. Beyond the pool, there are hammocks outside each room which are a great for a relaxing hour. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hibiscus Garden and would recommend to anyone staying in Puerto Princesa for a few days!

We had a wonderful stay at Hibiscus Garden Resort. This was my first time in the Philippines, and I arrived quite late in the evening after flying from Europe to Palawan, but everything from the start was smooth and welcoming. The location is excellent, the hotel itself is beautiful, and both rooms we stayed in were lovely and very comfortable. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant was also a real highlight, with delicious food and very good value for money. The only downside was that there were some guests who were very loud around the pool area, smoking and drinking without much consideration for others, which made it difficult at times to enjoy a quiet moment. However, this felt more like bad luck than a reflection of the hotel itself. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily return if visiting Puerto Princesa again.

We had a great time at Hibiscus Garden Resort in Palawan. 🌺 The food was very tasty, and the price was good and affordable. We ordered so many starters that we were already full before the main meal! 😄 The staff, Angee and Jesa, were very friendly and took good care of us. We really enjoyed our visit and will recommend this place to others! 👍

Stayed here for a few nights in August and could not recommend the place enough. ||Just slightly away from the busy “bar street” - which is accessible enough by tricycle. ||Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Arranging trips for us when needed. ||The rooms were clean and well equipped with all you could need. | |The food was amazing with a great selection on offer - the chefs are a credit to the place! ||But our personal highlight of Hibiscus was Che the bartender. |A super friendly and helpful member of the team, who made the best cocktails. Meeting her made the trip worth while.||Be sure to grab a stool and have a chat with her during your stay! ||Will definitely stay here again!

Lovely property and extremely well maintained grounds. It's a serene oasis on a busy road. Only complaint I had was whatever fragrance they used in my room was too powerful making it harder to sleep.

This was a beautiful private resort. The esthetic was on point. Only stayed for one night and though you can hear the roosters in the morning and the stray dogs outside the priests it was a very enjoyable stay. Relaxed in the pool for a few hours. Enjoyed drinks at the bar. The food was simple and nothing extravagant but everything was priced quote nicely.

The place has a good aesthetic, more over, a lot of delicious food. Also, the waitress are so friendly. I haven't been in their room, but base on the picture online, it feels awesome

Never again, 1) I say no bacon and this cook dont respect my choice. "Sorry po forget" 2) fries are really miserable.better they serve frozen instead of such "imitation" 3) mozzarella stick was OVERSizes ( good luck for your food costing) 4) Ceasar salad should have classic ceasar sauce , no respect on this classic ,no innovation when u dont know. Bad for the girl in FOH, the girl was doing a great job!

Yelp
We paid around $40USD a night to stay here during the low season. While not in the center of town and lacking amenities like a pool and fitness center it was a good deal. The property includes about 15 rooms with teak colored bamboo houses you can hangout in interspersed throughout. Food was affordable as it is in all of Palawan with breakfast coming to about $2usd. We also enjoyed services like in-room one hour full body massages for $20USD. All in all it was a nice place to stay however if we stay in Puerto Princessa again a location we will stay at a hotel with beach access because we could not find a public beach.

Yelp
I stay at the Hibiscus every time I have to go to Puerto Princesa. It is a family business owned and managed by a French guy and his French Filipino children. It is both very close to the airport and "downtown" PP but very quiet and cosy. Rooms are large and simply furnished; they have AC and are very clean. A really decent breakfast is served for a song and the hotel is a good provider of reliable van drivers.
