Hibiscus Resort and Spa Port Douglas

My wife and I are fairly picky when it comes to accommodation but were pleasantly surprised at Hibiscus. The resort gives off a very tropical vibe and feels like it is secluded even though it's in the center of town. The apartment (through Airbnb) was well appointed and whilst slightly older, was perfectly clean. The 2 pools, BBQ area and reception staff were all exceptional. It is steps away from the beach and a plethora of bars and restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate coming back.

I couldn't rate the Hibiscus more highly. Brilliant location with great family friendly amenities. Staff were so helpful in giving us local tips on places to eat and things to do as well. It was our second staying here and again didn't disappoint. We'll be back.

Great accomodation - inner port Douglas location so can walk to beach, Main Street, shops, wharf precinct. Room access via stairs only to rooms so be aware when booking some rooms on second floor - 2 flights of stairs -|No lift option. Two pools and Balinese style resort gardens

Loved our return stay at Hibiscus. The location is perfect for walking distance to everything. It’s a quiet get away resort that allows easy access to everything PD has to offer. The surrounds of the resort are well maintained and our room had everything we needed to dine in and enjoy or easily access the Main Street and activities. Staff helpful and pools the chillax we needed. Much appreciated and we would again choose this as our go to PD home stay.

We had a fantastic 12 day holiday at Hibiscus Resort & Spa, escaping the cold New Zealand winter. We loved our spacious, tastefully decorated one-bedroom unit, with the private and secure balcony being like an extra room. Our unit remained cool and fresh with the airflow from the bathroom window going through the bedroom and living area to the balcony. We occasionally used the fans, but never needed the air conditioning. The resort is a convenient distance from shops, restaurants and the beach. The picturesque grounds with their lush gardens and pools make for very restful views from the units on all floors. We found all reception and housekeeping staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient. We booked several tourist excursions through Lucha and he made everything so simplified and stress free. for us. I loved using the luxurious MOR toiletries,, a special touch much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hibiscus to friends and family travelling to Port Douglas.

I highly recommend Hibiscus Resort to anyone visiting Port Douglas!!! I have stayed many times in Port Douglas and stayed in a lot of resorts but Hibiscus is hands down the best I have experienced!!! I have now found my perfect accommodation! I will definitely be returning next year for my holiday !!! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!!!

Love this place. Booked a room via Airbnb. Room overlooked a pool. The complex is small but tidy and in a Balinese style. Great location near to all shops and restaurants. Second time here and will come back again.

We love this place. Both pools are great, bbq facilities are very clean, self-contained rooms are well fitted out, a 5-min walk to the Main Street and the staff are amazing Highly recommended 💫💫💫💫💫
