"Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon, a Sukawati-based ravine and sacred Balinese site, feels hidden in plain sight. Beyond the ticketed entrance is a series of mid-rise canyons lining the Oos River: prepare to climb, wade, swim, and scale your way through a rocky-tropical landscape not seen anywhere else on the island. A bonus? Touring hordes have yet to discover it. The mesmerizing, sculpted-by-erosion stone walls are even more magnificent with sunlight and shadow play. Leave it to the competent tour guides to take your snaps at all the right angles. Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon is a plum choice for travelers who need more than surfing to get their blood pumping. Prices start at around $15 for an individual (it's less expensive with two or more people) and includes entry, a local guide for up to four guests, a bottle of water, bath and face towels, and lockers and showers." - Travis Levius

"What’s the vibe here? Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon, a Sukawati-based ravine and sacred Balinese site, feels hidden in plain sight. Beyond the ticketed entrance is a series of mid-rise canyons lining the Oos River: prepare to climb, wade, swim, and scale your way through a rocky-tropical landscape not seen anywhere else on the island. A bonus? Touring hordes have yet to discover it. Any standout features? The mesmerizing, sculpted-by-erosion stone walls are even more magnificent with sunlight and shadow play. Leave it to the competent tour guides to take your snaps at all the right angles. Was it easy to get around? Traversing the canyon is not, in fact, a walk in the park. Guides, necessary for safety purposes, will let you know where to place your feet or what to hold onto while scaling the oft-slippery terrain. Depending on the rainfall cycle, you might find yourself chest deep in water, but in all cases, prepare to get wet. It can take around two hours to complete the entire length; those who want to cut their adventure short can exit early via rice paddy fields. What—and who—is this best for? Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon is a plum choice for travelers who need more than surfing to get their blood pumping. Prices start at around $15 for an individual (it's less expensive with two or more people) and includes entry, a local guide for up to four guests, a bottle of water, bath and face towels, and lockers and showers. If possible, avoid rainy season as the currents can rise to dangerous levels—the canyon closes on days when it’s especially hazardous." - Travis Levius

Actually a great experience if you take the full track. We were lucky to have a very empty trail so no people around that allows to explore in own pace! For the price of the ticket you get the guide (and the photographer), the lunch, bag for cloths, a towel (and shower to use after) and water, also the swing (in the last canyon) is amazing experience! Loved it

I was lucky to own the whole canyon by myself. My instructor was superb! He guided me all the way, inch perfect advice that accurately to every of my steps. Such as stone in the water, the next step is very deep… I am running marathon as one of my hobby. So the total length of canyon 3 km for me is just a little distance. I enjoyed myself in this 1.5 hour expedition. Unique experience! Scenery is beautiful too. But it is not very suitable to those people who are not doing regular sports. If you are bringing kids, it is better older kids with good swimming skill. The ticket inclusive one instructor is 300k IDR. Highly recommended my instructor!

This is a must if you are in the region! We had a very nice and chill guide to help and lead us through 3 canyons altogether. The views are amazing and you get some info about the place too. Its good to be fit and active for this because its not a walk in a park , surfaces are slippery or hot or both and sometimes you swim. It took like 2 hours, totally worth it! The guide also takes nice videos and photos of you!

Amazing experience. You trek through three canyons. Walk, wade, swim. It requires effort and physical fitness but the experience is rewarding. Tickets are 300k and include a guide (which you need) a bottle of water and a meal. There are lockers and showers. On the way back you see the rice fields of the local village. I did it after the rain so the water was muddy but usually it's clear.

There were four adults and two teenagers in our group, and we completed the long route through the three canyons. Since we had our own driver for the day and were doing multiple activities, we didn't use one of the many tour companies that offer this activity and instead bought our tickets directly at the counter, which was more advantageous. The meal is included after the activity. Two super-friendly guides accompanied us. In the mid-afternoon, there was only one group ahead of us. One of the guides took charge of my iPhone and took a ton of photos and videos, which are excellent souvenirs. Of course, this activity is for people who do not have mobility issues and are agile enough to avoid slipping on the rocks. Good water shoes make the activity much more enjoyable. We completed the whole thing in 1.5 hours.

It was fun. The water is a bit disgusting, but you can shower afterwards. The track is rather short, we are active people so we finished in like 45 mins. We met some older people on the way, they looked to struggle so i dont recommend it people who cannot hike, there are rocks to climb. Our guide was great, he took some nice pictures. You get a drink and little food as well. We arrived close to closing hours so there werent many groups on the way. There was a big swing in one of the canyon, it was so much fun. We paid 615k for 2 people. The staff was nice.

Beautiful canyon, you will be assigned a guide to take you through it. Trekking all three of the canyons will take about 1,5 to 2 hours, wading through water sometimes (wear your swimsuit!), a little swimming here and there and walking/climbing the last part. Perak was our guide and we recommend him highly, his happy personality made it easy to converse with him, and he was more then happy to answer questions about the formation of the canyon, and how they know a flood is coming through a communications system with outlook posts higher up in the mountains. All in all, a must see if you're tired of tourist packed temples and in for a bit of nature.

Well, first of all I would like to say that the price may have been a negative for some people, but we had done our research beforehand and as with everything, it all depends on the guide. We were there in the afternoon and were the only ones who did the tour and for us it was absolutely worth the money. Our guide, Perak, was just brilliant, funny, helpful and just super nice. Experiencing nature like that was a lot of fun! We would do it again anytime!
