Hidden Coffee Roasters - El Born

Loved this cafe, the coffee was amazing. Each coffee had a flavour profile and it is very accurate too! As an avid coffee and cafe lover this was the first time I tasted the notes in the coffee and so did my partner. The cafe roast the beans themselves and they have alternative milks (oat). I cannot recommend this cafe enough. The staff welcome you and they are very lovely, the interior is also so cool. Truly a highlight of our trip to Barcelona !

Very noisy place. Like you really can’t hear yourself. Not a place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, rather order take away and quickly leave. Service is pretty slow and regarless having long queue of people waiting to order, they serve to the tables (which even extends the waiting time for everyone). Coffee is just ok …. Better than in the regular “cafeteria” but as for the specialty coffee place we were not impressed at all. Food - too sweet as for my taste . Maybe it’s a matter of personal preferences. Does not look like a place to be back/add to the favorites . There are so many better / tastier / quieter places in El Born.

I tried the iced coffee and it was really good — smooth, well-balanced, and refreshing. Not too bitter, with just the right amount of strength and chill. Perfect pick-me-up!

Great selection of coffees that are high quality. The cafe was dog friendly too with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The selection of cakes and sweets were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations.

This was my favorite coffee shop out of the two weeks I spent in Europe! This was one of the first speciality coffee shops I encountered, and the V60 and cortado I got were both lovely. The shop was nice with just enough seating, they had a great selection of beans, and I thought they did a great job of appealing to both the speciality and more standard coffee crowds. I’d happily go back, and I went more than once when I was in Barcelona!

The place is really good, those guys are coffee experts! I just have one comment that I hope will improve the service: Iam a returning customer and every time I come here, I realize that the rinser is not functioning well, and it kind of slows the process. I hope next time I come, I find the rinser fixed! 😎👌

Strong and smooth flat white, very tasty indeed. Dog friendly too, which we really appreciate! Surprisingly, staff neither knew nor cared where their matcha came from, beyond "Japan", so possibly best to avoid matcha here. Fortunately staff DO know their stuff when it comes to coffee, so stick to that and you'll be happy!
