Hidden Grounds Chai & Coffee House

Omg best salmon bagel ever!!! The staff is extremely kind and welcoming and the food is incredible. We get the salmon bagel and it’s the best I’ve ever tasted and fairly priced compared to other places. The honey bee latte is amazing!! Highly recommend!

Decided to drop in on our last day in Jersey City. Excellent choices on the coffee and chai. I had the Lavender Honey Latte and it was delightful. Chocolate croissant hit the spot too. The chicken tikka masala sandwich was amazing. Recommend this place if you're close to it. Staff were friendly!

Great choices for coffee and tea. We loved their bakery items (specifically the cardamom bun). Their filter coffee hits the spot and with the available options you can control the sweetness which makes it perfect. The almond croissant was good too.

On a friend’s suggestion, I visited this cute café and absolutely loved it! We ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a chicken tikka sandwich — both were sooo good. For drinks, we tried the New Orleans brew and the rose brew coffees, which were unique and delicious. The vibe of the place was amazing, and overall, it’s definitely a must-visit spot!

Incredibleeee! I had such a great time, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and it was a nice chill spot to spend a few hours in. The absolute STAR of my visit was the Taro Chai Latte I had, 😩 100/10! It’s not on the menu but they sell these two things separately and I asked the barista if they could combine the two, and she graciously made the best latte I’ve ever had! The chocolate chip cookie is also very yummy! I will DEFINITELY be back and I’m bringing all of my friends.

So happy we have a Hidden Grounds in JC! Their chai is incredible, probably my favorite I've had anywhere in the JC/NYC area. Their pastries are so good and sometimes there are seasonal ones! My partner loves their coffee too. The staff are awesome and the space is nice. Their Bombay bagel sandwich is my favorite breakfast sandwich anywhere!

very nice works and well priced coffee and food. My friend and I enjoyed the lox bagels and honey bee latte. Great atmosphere definitely should check out.

I’ve tried their pistachio cardamom bun, pistachio donut, chicken tikka puff, and savory avocado toast. I’ve enjoyed all. I am truly fond of the savory avocado toast. The combination of avocado, sriracha, feta, & honey is top notch! As far as coffee/espresso based drinks go I find less is more. I enjoy a simple latte. But the New Orleans cold brew is yummy!
