Visited Saigon Palm with the wife a couple of days ago and it was a very nice experience. The atmosphere is inviting, if not a little too quiet even, though I suppose we were there a little earlier than most people would be for dinner.
We had Long Island iced teas and they were good. We ordered the Vietnamese mini pancakes and they were not a highlight, but good enough (I prefer the street version).
The grilled calamari were great, very tender, smoky and delicious. The seafood fried rice was great, very flavourful. The Thai style blood clams were very good. Unfortunately they were out of soft shell crab and we’ll have to try it next time.
Overall, a gem of a place in a side street. Check it out for sure! A bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.
