Saigon Palm House

Had a wonderful experience at Saigon Palm House! The service was excellent—the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. And most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely a place I’d recommend and come back to again!

I love all the courteous staff in this restaurant. The food is beyond words. I would recommend every dish I ordered: fried soft crab, beef spinach, pork rib pumpkin soup, fried spring roll and fried rice with shrimp👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Food was awesome. We never thought we'd be this full and food was just great and delicious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely comeback given the chance.

My first lunch in Saigon was here, food was perfect with great ambience though Slightly hidden just like its name. Would recommend this place as they do serve authentic Vietnamese cuisine and many other food choices. Very attentive waiters to recommend food of your choice. They do serve local beers too.

Visited Saigon Palm with the wife a couple of days ago and it was a very nice experience. The atmosphere is inviting, if not a little too quiet even, though I suppose we were there a little earlier than most people would be for dinner. We had Long Island iced teas and they were good. We ordered the Vietnamese mini pancakes and they were not a highlight, but good enough (I prefer the street version). The grilled calamari were great, very tender, smoky and delicious. The seafood fried rice was great, very flavourful. The Thai style blood clams were very good. Unfortunately they were out of soft shell crab and we’ll have to try it next time. Overall, a gem of a place in a side street. Check it out for sure! A bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Vietnamese food in a pretty alley that's not really hidden tho and pretty sure we got ripped off too Honestly tho: What's ok about this place is the southern style heavy seasonings and dipping sauce. I enjoyed the fresh squid out all dishes, braised pork belly with shrimp is also nice, salty, umami, and sweet that go pretty well with white rice, bánh khọt (mini savory pancake) was extra crispy, though too oily for me. The only reason we felt ripped off is the fact that the server confirmed the squid price was VND600,000/ KG and we ordered 0.5KG. Then the bill came as VND799,000 / KG. I don't mind the high price but there is a misinformation here which kinda ruining the experience. All in all this is a decent lunch for a group setting. Turnaround time was OK, as we waited for about 10 minutes but all of the food arrived at the same time.

Was expecting a high standard of gastronomic experience,given its set up. The food was just average and mundane, although the presentation is pretty. More catered for the tourist crowd and this perhaps adjusted and diluted from the authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The environment was nice and comfortable. Plus point is the staff can converse English.
