"Mountain Retreat Over 7,000 acres of adventure await visitors to Hidden Valley Inn and Reserve. This intimate luxury resort is situated in a guest-exclusive reserve in the Mountain Pine Ridge area of the Cayo District. The boutique property features 10 Estate Rooms and two Estate Suites. It’s one of the only properties where you are likely to find fireplaces, and with good reason – it does get rather chilly in the Mountain Pine Ridge area and the real wood-burning fireplaces are not only romantic, but provide an excellent source of heat on those chilly nights. The Lodge is the estate house where guests can dine in the restaurant, relax in the common areas, or visit the library lounge. The lodge was originally designed as a family vacation home and the personal touches show. It’s an ideal spot to spend the late afternoon having a cocktail, catching up on emails, or reading a good book. Hidden Valley’s plantation-style décor and the more rustic stone hearths in the Lodge provide a very welcoming and warm atmosphere. Be sure to check out the property’s jungle platforms and resting areas. These are great spots for yoga and meditation and even feature Sanskrit names. Whether you do yoga or not, these platforms are prime spots for stopping and relaxing along the water’s edge – a few even offer waterfall views. And speaking of waterfalls, do not miss taking a hike to Butterfly Falls as it’s one of the most picturesque spots in Belize and it’s reserved for guests of Hidden Valley Inn!"

We stayed at the lodge at the start of the “rainy” season so experienced only the smallest amount of rain, was beautiful weather otherwise!|Upon arrival, we had such friendly, professional and personalised service. We received all the information we needed on trips, spa treatments and activities - we opted for a couples massage and the cave tubing, both were incredible and we’d highly recommend!|Our room and amenities was great - albeit without air-con, it had a fan which worked pretty well!|The overall rest of the lodge was also beautiful, with stunning interior design and overall landscape. The food was lovely and there was a fabulous (albeit slightly small) breakfast included. The rest we just then paid for on top. |The 100 miles of trails were incredible, you could spend days just hiking! The lodge also gives you a walkie talkie to aid in case of issue but also to arrange pickups - you can then take drop offs too. All trails are clearly marked and we didn’t bump into one person on any trail, which meant we got all the waterfalls to ourselves!|The overall service from every staff member was amazing - we’d love to come back and revisit and will be telling all our friends!|10/10

A Truly Unforgettable Stay The Fire Tower Room at Hidden Valley Inn is one of the most unique and peaceful places I’ve ever stayed. Perched above the forest, the views are breathtaking—sunrise, sunset, and stars all from your private deck. The room strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and quiet luxury. If you're looking for a serene escape into nature with just the right touch of comfort, this is it. Hidden Valley nailed it.

I've never had a hotel exceed my expectations like Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge did! My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and the staff made us feel incredibly cared for and welcome. We didn't realise until we arrived just how much land the hotel has - we saw the most gorgeous waterfalls without even leaving the property. If you can, book the picnic lunch on site - this was the highlight of our whole trip. All the guides we had through the lodge were so knowledgeable and friendly and taught us a lot about Belizean culture. The food - wow, definitely a highlight. We are vegetarians and there was an entire vegetarian menu at Sap. The chefs were incredibly accommodating and even made some meat dishes vegetarian for us at Slate. We also had the 5 course tasting menu which we really recommend, the food was delicious and we learnt even more about the variety of Belizean food, and the setting for it was perfect. We also really felt that the Lodge put its eco principles into practice, for example having filtered water in the room instead of plastic bottles. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and want to say thank you to the staff who made our stay so special. We will cherish the memories of staying here forever.

Spectacular resort. It is so beautiful and tranquil. We stayed in the suite in the fire tower. It exceeded our expectations. Fabulous decor inside and the view on the deck was extraordinary looking over the jungle. Waking up and sitting on the balcony watching all the birds and at night the beautiful sunsets. The staff was awesome and accommodating. We are vegetarians and the farm to table Mayan styled food was delicious. There are extensive hiking trails and the staff will drop you off. We swam under Butterfly falls and we had it all to ourselves. No crowds! We loved the 3 days we spent here!

Our stay at Hidene Valley Wilderness Lodge was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the property it’s truly a serene escape surrounded by nature.||The staff were incredible: friendly, lively, and genuinely committed to making our stay perfect. A special shoutout to Einer, who went above and beyond, paying attention to every little detail to ensure our comfort. His attentiveness didn’t go unnoticed and made a huge difference in our experience.||At the front desk, Tianna greeted us with such warmth and an infectious positive vibe. She made my entire family feel immediately at home, setting the tone for a fantastic getaway.||Every interaction with the team felt personal and professional. You can tell they love what they do, and it reflects in the service they provide. We’ll absolutely be recommending Hidene Valley Wilderness Lodge to our friends and family—and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed for four nights at Hidden Valley, and it was terrific. I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere where I felt more welcomed and among friends. Everyone from the guy cleaning the pool to the managers at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. The management here is certainly doing something right.|And the food! The head chef is a true artist. Everything is locally sourced and has a local, Mayan spin - I tried lots of ingredients and combinations for the first time, each delicious. One evening they roasted a 'pibil' lamb over hot rocks in a pit in the ground - wonderful.|The hikes can be as easy or challenging as you want. We went to Tiger Creek Falls one day and to Butterfly Falls another. Both spots had beautiful swimming pools - so refreshing after a hot hike! Butterfly Falls is easily one of the most spectacular waterfalls I've seen. |All-in-all, a really great stay - thanks, Hidden Valley!

HVWL is an awesome place to stay in Belize. We stayed in one of the villas -- WOW!! Great layout and plenty of space for a family of 5. Loved the screened patios and plunge pool. Grounds are amazing and we enjoyed the hiking and waterfalls. HVLW is a great base for exploring so many of the wonderful sites in Cayo. And the staff is truly incredible -- exceptional service! I highly recommend HVWL.

Spectacular remote location with ambience, serenity and miles of trails to explore. The staff were friendly and very helpful at all times. Two birding trips with the guide Marvin wrestled top of the line and successful. He is an excellent guide. The food was plentiful and delicious. There was nothing not to like with my recent visit. Thanks to all involved in making my visit a memorable one.
