We recently celebrated our daughter’s 7th birthday at the Hidden Valley Soft Play area and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was handled beautifully. We had a private booking for 2 hours, which gave the kids plenty of space to enjoy the excellent soft play facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it feel very safe and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. The food options for kids were great – lots of choice and good quality. We also really appreciated the option to take away any unfinished kids’ meals, which was a thoughtful touch that parents will definitely value. The only small downside was that the space felt a bit too warm – we weren’t sure if the air conditioning was working properly. However, that was a minor issue in what was otherwise an amazing party experience. Highly recommended for birthday parties or a fun day out – we’ll definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️||We stayed at Hidden Valley for 3 nights with our two kids – 2 nights camping and 1 night glamping. We had such a lovely time overall!||The campsite itself has a brilliant family-friendly atmosphere. It was lively but never over the top, and after the 10pm curfew things quietened down really well (security did a great job of politely asking a few people to lower the volume). The glamping area was fine, but in our opinion it just didn’t have the same buzz as the camping side.||We tried out all the activities during our stay and the staff were fantastic – friendly, polite, and always helpful. Facilities are really well looked after too: toilets were spotless and maintained into the night, showers were always hot, and the communal kitchen was clean and well kept.||The takeaway is on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected at a holiday resort. The only disappointment for the kids was that most of the arcade machines were out of order – although personally I wasn’t too upset about that! 😂||All in all, we had a great family break and will definitely be booking again for next year. Would highly recommend Hidden Valley for anyone looking for a fun, well-run family getaway.

We stayed here this weekend and it was ideal for the price! Was lovely putting up the tent and then absolutely got washed out of it taking it down but we can’t be picky at this time of year. The staff were so nice and helpful and the resort is small but gorgeous. Bathroom facilities were clean and stocked. We did forget our adapter for electricity and thought we might be able to buy some onsite but unfortunately not. Only thing is the restaurant onsite didn’t have much vegan selection. Other than that it was a fab stay no faults!! 🏡🏕️

We went for our first camping experience as a family. The kids (4&6) were excited and in fairness they had a great time. But kids don't see what adults see. ||The nearest toilet to the camping area is 170m away. Not great if you have kids that need to wee in the middle of the night so bring your own portable loo.||The toilets and shower area were very few and far between for the volume of people on site and they were disgustingly filthy for the whole time we were there.||The bins were full from the day we arrived (Sunday till we left on Tuesday as we cut out stay short by a day) . The rubbish all around the whole site from the playground to along the river to the crazt golf course was shocking. ||The rules clearly state no e-scooters but it was like an e-scooter convention with kids as young as 4/5 whizzing around. So obvioulsy the rules are not enforced.||The tents around us were families with parents who thought it was OK to let their toddlers cry for 30/45minutes in the middle of the night and shout expletives at them to stop crying rather than get out of their bed and go to their child. Or they shouted at their other children to give them crisps or phones to "Shut them f**king up". Not the resorts fault but just an idea of the type of clientele that go here.||We went to the restaurant for 1 meal. The music was so loud we had to sit outside. The tables were again flithy. The food was below average at best. ||Has great potential as the activities are decent but general experience wasn't good. Definitely will not be back.

We had a great stay at this site in Wicklow. The pitches were quite close together, but the facilities were excellent. A lovely bar/restaurant with great service. The aqua park was phenomenal - the best we have even been to - and was fairly reasonable in price. The river runs through the site for fishing, swimming, paddling - there were lots of families enjoying this. Similarly, kayaking and boats were on another lake and were really reasonable at 5E a go with the bands. There's also an outdoor and indoor cinema, kids' disco igloo, climbing and a soft play - there was so much for them to do! At night, it was a little raucous with gangs of kids being chased by the security as it was after the quiet time curfew - but it provided us with much entertainment! The showers hit-and-miss on temperature, whether they actually worked at all and were expensive at 1E for 6 mins for such a dodgy service, however the staff worked tirelessly to keep the toilet block clean - there was literally someone on duty cleaning the whole day! When I reported the issues at reception however, the staff were very apologetic and they didn't hesitate in giving me replacement tokens for the showers; it's just such a shame they didn't work! The 4 stars really was due to the toilet block as this is such a water based site, they were a really important part of the stay.

Excellent family campsite. Large pitches with electric hook up. Clean toilet and shower facilities (do begrudge paying for shower tokens these days). Worth being aware no at pitch parking so it's a trip to pitches to set up and take down. Excellent on site facilities and activities. Good to have on site security but could do with better enforcement at times with adult groups noisy well past curfew with choice language. Overall, great stay.

Good facilities and plenty of thing to do. The camping section is good for younger kids as they can get to the playground without having to interact with cars. Curfew is enforced so it a good spot to rest, there are loads of things to do in the vicinity. (walks and attractions) They could do with a slightly bigger toilet block as it is always jammers, and the bin block is a disgrace, there are no signs indicating what goes where, it is too small, so its just a dumping ground. All together however a very good experience.

We camped here for 3 nights. Had booked four but a storm was coming and we decided not to unpack in the rain. The place was busy but nice. Curfew was nicely kept but there were a few younger people who would not respect it or parents who left their kids to roam around till 11 or midnight but in general it was great. All the staff were super nice and helpful, with a couple of exceptions but generally really good. The activities are great and the bathrooms an d kitchen areas are clean and well kept. The showers were nice too. Overall a nice stay. We camped away from the crowds so that's nice. The manager could think about numbering the camping spots and designate them. Another suggestion would be to get the garbage area tidyer and more sustainable. The people who left before us left a scooter, runner and skewer sticks all over the place and no one collected them in three days. Maybe impose fines on dirty campers. Thanks!!

Yelp
A lovely holiday-park, in the picturesque village of Rathdrum. The site has beautiful view, great facilities and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Irish weather been what it is....ensure you come prepared. If you are going for a day trip and the weather isn't great, i would highly recommend that you ring ahead to see if all activities are open....otherwise it could be a wasted trip!!

Yelp
Great Xmas island experience. The location it's about an hour drive from Dublin. They have a little train and a nice boat! Santa was very good and he spent a lot of times with our boys. Very affordable and a great day out

Yelp
Situated in Rathdrum the place just blew me away. The campsite is beautiful. I was there camping for one night with two others. The facilities available are top class. Guaranteed hot water for a shower, hot food cooked and served on site, electric hob (payable on site) if you want to cook yourself. Camping site is right beside the river. They say location is everything and this certainly is located perfectly in the Valley and the scenery around it is amazing. Will be sure to return as the staff are very approachable and friendly.

Yelp
Never having done a holiday park before this was a revelation. A log cabin by an activity lake - clean , tidy, lots to do, food, ice-cream, films, bingo, play area, bumper boats, canoes and access to the County Wickow's many attractions - and all only an hour south ofDublin and the ferry from England/Wales. Can't be beaten.

Yelp
Lovely campsite, great facilities. Only issue and it's small is there's no grill or microwave in the campers kitchen.
