I gave an extra star for cleanliness. The facilities were decent and the toilets were frequently cleaned. And security staff tried to keep it quiet but with limited success. The noise curfew is a joke as it isn't enforced. If your child likes to sleep before midnight, I wouldn't recommend tent camping here. The other guests do not follow the rules, and children were unsupervised and playing dangerously around other younger children.

I recently stayed at Hidden Valley in Wicklow and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. The place is absolutely unbelievable—set in the most stunning surroundings, it offers a peaceful and relaxing escape that feels like a hidden gem. What really stood out to me was the incredible attention to cleanliness. Every part of the resort, from the accommodation to the shared areas, was spotless and so well maintained. It genuinely added to the overall sense of comfort and care. The staff were equally impressive—warm, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Their friendliness and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a getaway in Wicklow with the kids, I would absolutely recommend Hidden Valley to anyone. I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here for one night and, while the site has some great positives, it wasn’t quite the right fit for us. The facilities were spotless — the showers, toilets, and communal areas were really well maintained, which we really appreciated.||It’s definitely a family-oriented site, with loads of activities for children throughout the day. However, this did mean that there were a lot of kids running around until quite late in the evening, and unfortunately, they frequently ran across and onto our pitch, which made it difficult to relax.||If you’re travelling with children, this place would be ideal as there’s plenty to keep them entertained. But if you’re just stopping for a night and don’t have kids, I’d probably recommend finding somewhere a little quieter.

The drive-in cinema at hidden valley is excellent! The screen is massive and bright - can clearly see it from anywhere in the car park. It is far larger than it looks in the picture! The tickets are only €35 for 5 people in one car, and include 2 drinks and 2 buckets of popcorn. The popcorn buckets are absolutely massive - easily equivalent to two or three large boxes of cinema popcorn. Not to mention, it’s delicious! The facilities on site are also great. The restaurant is right beside it, and you can get tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc to bring back to your car or have at the restaurant. You can even get Chinese or pizza etc. there too. We got a little pot of ice cream each, and with syrup and extra toppings it was only €2! The staff were also fantastic - very helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a brilliant evening out and excellent value for money!

One of the best camp sites we’ve been to. Amazing staff, clean and well maintained facilities and the activities on site literally have something for everyone. We will definitely be back. Especially with the value for money.

Was up that way Sunday went for a coffee in the lake house, was worst coffee I have ever tasted , was really just hot water with a coffee flavour. Pity cause place seemed nice. And staff in coffee shop need some people skills training. I will go back but I'll have a Coca-Cola

We stayed here over the Easter holidays with our 2 kids (13 & 10) our dog and our caravan. The facilities are second to none . We ate on the on-site restaurant a few times and i must say the staff are brilliant. BUT the way some of them were treated by some of the guests was appalling I don't know how they put up with it. Really needs a proper security person to deal with it and not the staff as they have enough to be doing. Great activities on site and excellently ran. A big shout out to the lady cleaning the shower and toilet area's she never stops

Teresa and the team at Hidden Valley were extremely helpful and accommodating. On a recent camping trip, we experienced allot of rain and our tent flooded. The team at Hidden Valley assisted us by providing an alternative accommodation option and the next day, they supported us in cleaning and drying our tent out. A really great resort, with wonderful management and staff. Hight recommended

Yelp
A lovely holiday-park, in the picturesque village of Rathdrum. The site has beautiful view, great facilities and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Irish weather been what it is....ensure you come prepared. If you are going for a day trip and the weather isn't great, i would highly recommend that you ring ahead to see if all activities are open....otherwise it could be a wasted trip!!

Yelp
Great Xmas island experience. The location it's about an hour drive from Dublin. They have a little train and a nice boat! Santa was very good and he spent a lot of times with our boys. Very affordable and a great day out

Yelp
Situated in Rathdrum the place just blew me away. The campsite is beautiful. I was there camping for one night with two others. The facilities available are top class. Guaranteed hot water for a shower, hot food cooked and served on site, electric hob (payable on site) if you want to cook yourself. Camping site is right beside the river. They say location is everything and this certainly is located perfectly in the Valley and the scenery around it is amazing. Will be sure to return as the staff are very approachable and friendly.

Yelp
Never having done a holiday park before this was a revelation. A log cabin by an activity lake - clean , tidy, lots to do, food, ice-cream, films, bingo, play area, bumper boats, canoes and access to the County Wickow's many attractions - and all only an hour south ofDublin and the ferry from England/Wales. Can't be beaten.

Yelp
Lovely campsite, great facilities. Only issue and it's small is there's no grill or microwave in the campers kitchen.
