The service has been wonderful all the way around. Widi at the Meeru restaurant was our waitress each night of our 5 night stay in Hideaway Resort and she was excellent. Zareer was also our butler who guided us around the island to catch our bearings and was super accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. So many great things to say about this place. Awesome staff and great place to stay. Thanks guys!

We had an amazing time at Hideaway, the privacy, accommodations, and beaches were phenomenal, unlike any place I have been. Definitely worth the multiple plane rides from the US. Highly recommend Samsara restaurant. Anastasiia was our butler and she took care of everything we needed, fixed problems and issues, reminded us about events and items that were included in our package, really made it so much easier to enjoy your vacation. Can’t recommend this resort enough!

Our stay at Hideaway Beach Resort was excellent in every way. We stayed in both the overwater villa and the beach villa, and both were beautiful, very private, spotless, and perfectly aligned with our wishes. However, if you are afraid of lizards and insects, there is always a risk with beach villas at any resort as such beautiful, isolated, and green places may contain them (over-water villas are generally better to avoid this situation) ||Our attendant Septi was extremely responsive and helpful, sending us daily activity updates and always making sure everything was smooth and well organized. We would also like to thank Safar, the host at Mathefaru Restaurant, who was an excellent host and helped us a lot throughout our stay. ||The main restaurant, Mathefaru, is one of the best we’ve experienced. The buffet was outstanding, with thoughtful and delicious selections that changed daily — Asian, Indian, mixed cuisines — along with excellent staple dishes. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional. ||The water activities team were beyond excellent and incredibly helpful, making every experience enjoyable. ||Overall, an exceptional resort with outstanding service, dining, and hospitality. Highly recommended, and we would gladly return. ||P.S. Even if you include meals into your package, drinks (including water bottles) even non-alcoholic are chargeable in the restaurants (soft drinks ~9$, 1L water bottle ~5$). If you want fruits and other food for your villa, there is in-villa dining menue, however it is also chargeable.|Motor based water activities are also chargeable (kayak and non-motor based are generally complimentary). There is complimentary rent on snorkeling equipment with surcharges if returned damaged or missing.

Asolutely magical! Exceeded all our expectations! The staff were briliant. So welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Right from the moment we stepped off the seaplane to the traditional bongo drum walk and the orchid garland. Anup, our butler, did the twice daily clean and tidy and helped with any little thing we wanted. Sahar was so attentive and friendly in the Matheefaru restuarant and Chirag in the Meeru bar sorted out our favourite lunch table under the trees and our dinner table on the sand. We were on the VIP Platinum All Inclusive, so Chirag kept serving us free champagne every afternoon which was a nice accompaniment to the warm wind and sunshine on the beach. Getting around was easy with the on demand buggy cabs The non motorised water sports (catamaran, canoe, SUP, etc) were all free as well and complimentary snorkel and mask are provided. The "House reef" is just 2 meters from the Meeru bar. My wife said it was the best holiday we've ever been on. The sunsets at the Sunset Bar were to die for. We were very sad to leave our villa with our private beach on this tropical paradise island and return to the rain and cold in the UK.

A big thank you to Chirag, our wonderful server, who made every meal special with his warm personality and exceptional service. His attention to detail truly elevated our stay from the very start. Our time at the water villa at Hideaway Resort was absolutely incredible. The villa was spacious, luxurious, and offered breathtaking views — truly the best room we could have hoped for. It felt like a private paradise. The snorkeling experience was another highlight. The house reef was vibrant and full of marine life, giving us the best snorkel experience we’ve ever had. We also want to extend our appreciation to our amazing butler, Hussain, and the Bartender Manjula who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. From arranging activities to anticipating our needs, his service was exceptional. The food at the resort was top-notch — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every staff member we met was friendly, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating a memorable stay. If you’re looking for incredible service, a stunning water villa, amazing snorkeling, and outstanding food, Hideaway Resort is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

All of the staff are incredibly rude. They assigned someone to be responsible for us, but that person didn’t take care of anything at all. There is buggy service for distant areas, yet we had to call and wait more than 30 minutes for it to arrive and ended up walking many times. They never offered any solutions. They completely ruined what should have been a paradise vacation that we paid for. Even though we booked an all-inclusive package, there are restrictions on some meals, with responses like “you can only take one dish.” We have stayed at another hotel in the Maldives before, where an authorized person handled the entire reservation process, and we had no problems at all. Even at the restaurants, they try to seat us in the very back and refuse to give us the table we choose, saying it is reserved. But we are hotel guests as well—why can’t reservations be made for us? In every sense, they turned these beautiful moments into a disgrace. Since our flight was the only one and very late, we requested a late check-out due to health reasons. They said there was no availability in an almost empty hotel, even though we were willing to pay an additional fee. In one word: a terrible experience.

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly taken care of — the villa, the service, the food, the weather, and even a surprise free upgrade. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and my wife’s birthday fell during the trip. The resort team arranged everything beautifully, and their attention to detail made both occasions feel truly special. The food throughout the resort was excellent, and for anyone looking for halal-friendly options, this place is perfect — they handled all our requests with care and reassurance. I also had my first jet ski experience, which was unforgettable thanks to the team who guided me and ensured I had a great time. Every moment here felt effortless and well taken care of. A very special thanks to Heba from the hotel staff — she was absolutely outstanding. She went above and beyond to make our stay smooth, comfortable, and memorable. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference. She is one of the best staff members we’ve ever met at any resort. Overall, this was one of the best trips we’ve ever had. Beautiful island, amazing service, and a perfect place to relax and celebrate special moments. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back!

Had an exceptional meal in the Oasis Restaurant at the Hideaway Beach and Spa Resort in Maldives. The staff were very attentive and the surroundings made it extra special. Cannot fault the experience - too much food 😂 but we were able to take it back to our room. Too good to leave. Highly recommend.
