A big thank you to Chirag, our wonderful server, who made every meal special with his warm personality and exceptional service. His attention to detail truly elevated our stay from the very start. Our time at the water villa at Hideaway Resort was absolutely incredible. The villa was spacious, luxurious, and offered breathtaking views — truly the best room we could have hoped for. It felt like a private paradise. The snorkeling experience was another highlight. The house reef was vibrant and full of marine life, giving us the best snorkel experience we’ve ever had. We also want to extend our appreciation to our amazing butler, Hussain, and the Bartender Manjula who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. From arranging activities to anticipating our needs, his service was exceptional. The food at the resort was top-notch — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every staff member we met was friendly, attentive, and truly dedicated to creating a memorable stay. If you’re looking for incredible service, a stunning water villa, amazing snorkeling, and outstanding food, Hideaway Resort is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

All of the staff are incredibly rude. They assigned someone to be responsible for us, but that person didn’t take care of anything at all. There is buggy service for distant areas, yet we had to call and wait more than 30 minutes for it to arrive and ended up walking many times. They never offered any solutions. They completely ruined what should have been a paradise vacation that we paid for. Even though we booked an all-inclusive package, there are restrictions on some meals, with responses like “you can only take one dish.” We have stayed at another hotel in the Maldives before, where an authorized person handled the entire reservation process, and we had no problems at all. Even at the restaurants, they try to seat us in the very back and refuse to give us the table we choose, saying it is reserved. But we are hotel guests as well—why can’t reservations be made for us? In every sense, they turned these beautiful moments into a disgrace. Since our flight was the only one and very late, we requested a late check-out due to health reasons. They said there was no availability in an almost empty hotel, even though we were willing to pay an additional fee. In one word: a terrible experience.

An unforgettable stay — highly recommended, especially for halal travellers! Our stay at Hideaway Beach Resort has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly taken care of — the villa, the service, the food, the weather, and even a surprise free upgrade. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and my wife’s birthday fell during the trip. The resort team arranged everything beautifully, and their attention to detail made both occasions feel truly special. The food throughout the resort was excellent, and for anyone looking for halal-friendly options, this place is perfect — they handled all our requests with care and reassurance. I also had my first jet ski experience, which was unforgettable thanks to the team who guided me and ensured I had a great time. Every moment here felt effortless and well taken care of. A very special thanks to Heba from the hotel staff — she was absolutely outstanding. She went above and beyond to make our stay smooth, comfortable, and memorable. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference. She is one of the best staff members we’ve ever met at any resort. Overall, this was one of the best trips we’ve ever had. Beautiful island, amazing service, and a perfect place to relax and celebrate special moments. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back!

I spent an unforgettable week at Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa in December 2025 with my family. Located in the quiet north of the Maldives on a private island, the location of the resort is truly spectacular with a very private and secluded atmosphere. Our 2-bedroom villa was very spacious with wonderful amenities, including but not limited to the twice-daily service of the room (super clean and well kept), the spacious bedrooms, the wonderful bathrooms, the large private pool, bicycles to use for the entire family, and our own piece of paradise beach. While the amenities were fantastic and the food was great, the staff was what really made our stay extraordinary. Special shoutouts to Septi, who was there for us 24/7 and kept us up to date on what was going on in the resort, and Aqhari, who provided us with a few days of unforgettable scuba diving during our stay. Terima kasih, Septi & Aqhari !!! And of course the rest of the Hideway team, like Hepti, Carmen, the Meridis Dive Boat captain and crew, and many more. Thank you!

Beautiful place for a vacation. One of the most spacious and luxurious experiences at Maldives well connect with an airport nearby along with the seaplane accessibility. We stayed here for 3 day and it was absolutely wonderful. Rooms have everything you need from a pool, jacuzzi and a beach or sea access. The best spot at the resort to unwind is Meeru bar with the perfect snorkeling spot and the hospitality here is unmatched. Upul is extremely experienced and a wonderful host. Chirag was lovely to interact with and very helpful. Would definitely recommend Hideaway for the perfect Maldivian experience.

Our stay at the resort was truly amazing! The whole experience was relaxing and unforgettable. The place is beautiful — from the stunning beach and crystal-clear water perfect for snorkeling, to the incredible spa that left us completely refreshed. The staff made our trip even more special. Israa was assisting us from day one until the end with a big smile, friendly attitude, and such a good soul and positive vibes. At Mero Bar, Arista was absolutely wonderful — very professional, sweet, and always welcoming with a lovely smile. The food there was delicious, and the service was excellent. Mr. Ibrahim at Samsara Restaurant was also fantastic, very kind and attentive. A special mention as well to the breakfast team, especially Mr. Safar, who was always friendly, warm, and helpful every morning. He made sure we had everything we needed and truly made our mornings brighter. All the staff were amazing, friendly, and made us feel at home. We had an unforgettable time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Maldives!

This was our second time at the resort, and once again it did not disappoint. The food is incredible across all five restaurants, offering an amazing variety and consistently high quality. And the underwater life here is truly the best we’ve experienced in the Maldives—while snorkeling you can spot sharks, rays, turtles, and countless colorful fish right off the beach. Our Water Villa was very spacious, and the Beach Villa offered a wonderfully private, large stretch of beach that felt like our own little paradise. A very special thanks to the staff at Meeru Bar—Upul and his team went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Their service, kindness, and hospitality were exceptional, and we cannot thank them enough. We also want to express our gratitude to the chefs in the buffet restaurant. They did everything possible to accommodate us and our daughter, and we really appreciated their care and attention. The only downside is that some areas of the resort could use refurbishing, and kids club also , especially the private pool areas. However, the rooms themselves are very clean, the bathrooms are newly renovated, and the twice-daily room service is excellent. We also strongly recommend going with the all-inclusive option—it makes the stay much more convenient and enjoyable.

We went to Hideaway Resort for our honeymoon. The resort is absolutely beautiful, and the scenery is truly breathtaking. And the staff at Miruba are incredibly friendly and helpful. The service is excellent, too. Among them, Arista, Yanti, and Upul were particularly helpful. On our last day, we were able to comfortably receive service at Miruba while waiting. We'd love to come back.
