HI MARVIN! We had such a wonderful time at Hideaways and will 1000% be back. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and fun! Having access to the Georgetown shuttle was extremely handy, and they even gave us a lift to the ATM one day. We enjoyed two meals at Splash and are looking forward to future Donkey Kong and swing bar-sitting. We greatly enjoyed the pool at the end of every day and enjoyed fantastic snorkeling right off of the beach at the hotel. Our favorite part of Hideaways was Marvin! He and his boss went as far as to set up an anniversary surprise for us to find after a day at the beach. Fantastic service, beach, food, cleanliness. No complaints at all, only rave reviews! - Savannah and Andrew

It was a beautiful view and staff was very kind and helpful. But we had several cockoroaches. They did respray and said it was unusual but there were too many even coming out when we cooked breakfast. ||The villa 28 oceanfront was nicely decorated. But the bug situation is not good. ||They offered to more us back but no refund and we would pay more for no view.

Hideaways is a quaint small resort in a great location. Everyone is so nice and helpful. the restaurant/bar onsite has the best pizza and is very convenient if you do not have a rental car. The shuttle runs to Georgetown 4x a day if you want to go into town for groceries, shopping, etc. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed the first week of April and had great hot, sunny and windy weather! Anchored Dreams is located inside the Hideways Resort. The unit is set-up for a comfortable stay, many appliances for cooking, TVs, music and a nice deck to oversee the entire property. You might appreciate the cooking some meals, as there is not much variety on island. Sunrises are quiet and serene, the beach is walkable. There is also another small beach you can navigate to that is also beautiful. The staff is available for everything! Check-in was super easy and Marvin took us to our unit. Marvin is the shuttle driver, he and Teresa drive into Georgetown four times a day. This is a very convenient service for quick supplies, we used it almost daily! It is free, but of course, we tipped our friendly drivers :) We did rent a car one day and explored to the north end of the island - beautiful CoCo Plum beach and Exuma Pointe Beach resort & restaurant (a separate space). We also rented a boat and visited a few beach bars on Stocking Island. Another day we took a water taxi to Peace & Plenty - the fee included a day pass with beach chairs. They have a bar and restaurant as well. We ate at the local fish fry spots just down the road (walkable), Shirley's and the Krusty Krab. For a nicer dinner we took a taxi to Blu. This is a very small island and at times they run out of certain popular items, this probably depends on the demands the week before. We had a great time, it's certainly worth the visit!

The Hideaways is a good place to be central on Exuma and venture up and down the island. The unit we stayed in was pretty new, which was nice, but missed the mark a bit with low hot water temp, a limited selection of kitchen utensils, and limited seating. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were nice though. You can tell the owner really tried to have this unit be an upgrade from the standard units we've stayed in prior. The grounds are getting a lot of attention and are starting to look nice. Don't bank on getting a nice meal at Splash though. That was a sure negative in our visit this year. It was nice that our unit had a designated parking spot nearby.

We stayed at Hideaways at Palm Bay in George Town on Great Exuma from January 25–28, 2025. We were in Cottage 6, a one bedroom ocean side garden view cottage with a king bed, it has a compact kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, dishes, cutlery, and a four seat dinette. They also offered grocery services that were stocked to order before arrival. The staff was AMAZING!! They were always so helpful when we needed information or suggestions. Our unit also included cable TV, air conditioning, an in room safe, and a private patio with table and two chairs, which was one of the many perfect places to enjoy morning coffee. The on site amenities included the beachfront resort freshwater pool, direct access to Palm Bay Beach, and the Splash Beach Bar & Grill, which offers pool- and waterfront dining, live music, games, and drinks right off the sand. The on-site dining option was Chat 'N' Chill® Beach Bar & Grill, which was a fun environment with good food, though during the time we were there the menu was limited due to shortages of supplies, but they still had stuff we could enjoy during our stay. We were there on business, so we didn’t have much time to take advantage of all the nearby attractions. We did catch a shuttle from the cottage to check out downtown for a little bit. This was a great place to stay while in Exuma and I would recommend this place for people looking for a place to stay while in the George Town, Exuma area.

I stayed in one of the one bedroom cottages and it was so cute! Very clean and had a small fridge and microwave. The people were so friendly and helpful!! They gave me the office number to use through whatsapp in case I had any issues and responded immediately when I texted about a car rental. I would definitely stay here again if/when I go back to Exuma.

Truly enjoyed my stay at hideaways in Exuma. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. There’s a shuttle from the hotel to sort of the busier part of the island most days. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable enough. Food was ok - but drinks were excellent. Will definitely be back!
