On the Grid : Gloria

"Dear glorious Gloria. You make delicious espressos feel cozy with the records you spin. You are nice people who smile. You bring famous Montreal bagels to Toronto. You think of others with your raw and Earl Grey oat bars too. You are generous with free WiFi and allspice that sells artists' drawings. You are making it impossible to feel a single ounce of dislike." - Sarah Di Domenico

A charming little restaurant with a cute atmosphere. I had been wanting to visit for a long time, and I’m glad I finally did. The menu has plenty of delicious options — I tried the green tamale and agua de horchata, and both were very good. The only downside was the slow service, as we had to wait quite a while for our order. Still, I’d definitely come back to try more from their menu.

This place is a gem on the west side. Their prices, although not cheap, are reasonable and the quality of the food is well worth it. Their tamales are pretty good, the americano is always tasty, the marquesitas are quite delicious, and all their frappé and mixed drinks are certainly inviting to dine in and accompany them with the various snacks. They now also offer some mexican knick-knacks and crafts as well. I even found a nice Xmas present to bring to Europe! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out.

Although they're a little pricey, the food was absolutely delicious! They had a popup with a taco spot and the tacos were fantastic! We also tried their empanada and that was packed well and a worthy snack! The staff was friendly and accommodating

Delicious! Just like in Mexico or even better, esquites are a must try. Also had a marquesita with Nutella and strawberry to die for! Will be back

I have been craving tamales for the longest time, I got so excited when I saw they announced brunch and it was a great decision!! Tamales are AMAZING, the chilaquiles 👌 and the cafe de olla is heartwarming.

Visited this place on a hot Saturday afternoon completely unplanned while waiting for my bus when I saw their 2 for 1 promotion going on. It felt like a refreshing blessing :D For the price of 1 we enjoyed 2 Pineapple pops which had Pineapple+Mango fresh fruit slushy along with a choice of you fruit popsicle (Pineapple/Mango) with or without spice as you prefer. Very filling and, fresh. We sat down and enjoyed it thoroughly. The cafe is well decorated, cute and charming with very friendly staff to help you with your order. Would recommend to try it out, certainly won't disappoint :)

We have tried many other popsicles and we love each of them! We ordered 7 different flavours (sorry not all the popsicles in the picture cuz all our staff were busy to take a bite). We will definitely try more during this hot summer season. Highly recommended!! 🥵❄️🧊🥶💙

I love the friendly staff and delicious food, they really make you feel at home. Tamales, pan dulce and the cappuccino with dulce de leche are my favourite for the winter, Chamoyada, popsicles with chile and dorilocos for the summer yum!
