"High Park is a quiet, residential neighborhood about a 30-minute subway ride away from the downtown core of Toronto. The neighborhood is appropriately named after Toronto’s largest greenspace — a park of 400 acres full of forest, trails, and spots to relax. In April and May, visit to see the many cherry blossoms. During the summer months, settle into the grass alongside one of the park’s ponds for a picnic with the locals." - MATADOR_NETWORK
"Located further west, High Park is Toronto’s largest green space. It spans over 161 hectares, one-third of which remains natural forest. You can explore that forest on one of the many hiking trails, or enjoy a waterfront stroll along Grenadier Pond. The park also has an off-leash dog park, a really cool wooden playground, and even a zoo. Springtime is a particularly beautiful time to visit, when you’ll be able to catch sight of the park’s cherry blossoms in bloom." - MATADOR_NETWORK

This park is great for families! The playground on the north side of the park is our favorite. There is a shaded Pavilion with clean bathrooms. The playground is great for toddlers all the way through upper Elementary. They have wonderful sidewalks for biking or walking. Open fields for playing soccer with the family or catch. The only downfall is that the playground does not have any shade, only the Pavilion next to it.

Great place to watch soccer, play volleyball, fish, or let the little ones enjoy the two playgrounds.
Always there for Smoke on the Plains and Family Events with food trucks! Great trails for running!

Awesome small town park. Nice lake. Soccer fields on north end. Two entrances, lots of parking, picnic areas, wide sidewalks. My dog's favorite place to go meet and greet. Usually lots of walkers/joggers of all ages with or without dogs. Bike riders and fishers, too. Ducks and geese to feed. Great play areas and clean restrooms.

Great place to take the kids! Great place to bike, walk, run, or jog. Take your dog for a walk, play a game of volleyball or soccer, feed the ducks/geese, or just relaxing trying to catch some fish!!!!
