"High Pie’s creative pizzas—the “Omaha” features Sriracha, BBQ sauce, chicken, and pepperoni, while the “Railjam” pairs prosciutto with sausage, pears, and goat cheese—go perfectly with a cold beer from the town’s own Telluride Brewing Company. For those with dietary restrictions, the pizzeria also offers vegan mozzarella cheese and a soft-on-the-inside, crispy-on-the-outside gluten-free crust that’s downright unbelievable."

Google
Good service. Good pizza. Wouldn't say spectacular by any means on quality of bread, pizza, and beer. Not sure if I would come back if ever in the area. Our waitress was nice and friendly. About it.

Google
Telluride was busy, but our party of five was able to get in for a fun dinner at High Pie. We were quoted an hour, but we waited only about half that. The atmosphere was lively, and the food tasty. Three of us had calzones which were generously-sized and stuffed full. I had the 1080 which did not disappoint. It had a bit of a zing with the pepperoni and salami piled high inside. The other two had pizzas and definitely enjoyed them. I reccomend trying this place out.

Google
great pizza spot, family friendly and fun atmosphere. pizza is thin or thick crust, the thick crust is amazing! even the gluten free crust is perfectly crisp on the outside, chewy inside. we tried the kid's pasta and meatballs which was also excellent. darts and games available for waiting.

Google
Pizza is a popular food group in the town, but you will not be disappointed. High Pie had all the pizza and beer you crave! No shortage of service and prices are very reasonable. I would recommend any of the pizza on the menu, however I would highly recommend the hand tossed or flavored crusts. Thin crust of not my flavor and I would pass. You cannot go wrong with this pizza joint!

Google
Was just here for drinks at the bar - did not have a chance to have the pizza. Beer selection is good, mixed drinks are good as well. Try the Flatliner! I had the pretzel. It was ok. They were out of beer cheese... Bartender seemed stressed and not able to handle it, even though the bar was under half full. Had to wait between drinks with an empty glass. Hmmmm...

Google
We ate here twice during our three trips into telluride. Great location and comfortable atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and the manager was very attentive. The "powder dry" chicken tenders and the skillet cookies and ice cream were a hit with the kids!

Hayden Hilt

Google
Order two different pizzas here a thin crust and hand tossed. The thin crust was the way to go thin and crunchy. The beer selection was very good and they had several local beers.

Google
Would not accept my ID because it was vertical (I am 24 y/o) and the pizza took over 1 hour to come out. Skip it and go to the next place. Only is still open because of proximity to the mountain. Look at all the 1 star reviews… you will see my point. Not a single sober bartender staffed behind the bar… I dont exactly want my server taking tequila shots right in front of me, after she refused to serve me… but okay, when in Telluride I guess.

Yelp
It's average pizza. Good service. Prices are somewhat reasonable for the area. Overall good vibes.

Yelp
Came here twice during my trip to town. Both times it took some time to get seated and get orders in but once you did that the drinks and food came in a somewhat timely fashion. I mean, who's really in a rush when you're on mountain time? First time we had some beers and the margarita pizza. It was pretty good and both of us enjoyed it. Second go around we got went with the peperoni pizza. Drinks took longer to come out but the beer list was pretty good. The was a delay and incident with our pizza but our server was cool and took care of us. The pizza was tasty as well. The place had a nice bar, golf game and foosball table that didn't work at the moment.

Yelp
Had a decent experience at High Pie. Went in for dinner the first night in town and sat right down, it wasn't busy. I do like how wide open the space is. There are large picnic tables for big parties as well as a wrap around bar. I ordered the wings, there was a card on our table that said 10 wings for $12 on Monday and Thursday nights. It was Monday, so I ordered them! I also ordered their "award winning" chicken chili. First: the chili was more like a protein bowl, it was loaded with mostly pulled chicken, very few beans and absolutely no broth. Didn't really feel like a chili to me, but the flavor was okay so I took it down. The wings were well prepared and tasty, however, when I got the check, they were actually $24! Silly me, I didn't realize you had to specify the 10 wing deal for $12. Instead I got the regular wing deal (12 for $24) doh!

Yelp
Super slow and the food was was just okay. We definitely would not return, unless there was no other option. We had spinach salad (was supposed to have arugula in it too and it had none) and 2 pizzas. Plain cheese and then one with arugula, prosciutto, mushrooms. The pizza had minimal sauce and toppings. The wait was so so long. Thankfully no one was really hungry. Plus there was a weird smell in there. My husband thought it smelled like a barn. I thought it was like a dirty bathroom. Though he said the bathroom didn't smell.

Yelp
We were looking for a lunch place and he chose this one. A server sat us and wiped down the table and chairs first as there were crumbs. The table had bench seating along the windows. I love that. The bottles above the bar had different colored lights which were on a display timer. Cool. Lots of TVs to watch games. Emily was our server and she was cute as a button. Very friendly and sweet. He only wanted the fried mozzarella sticks and I went with the tuna poke nachos. Served with wontons and Roma tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, green onions, sesame seeds, avocado, wasabi aioli over everything. The ahi tuna is tossed in a sesame soy dressing. I didn't expect much but my oh my it was delicious. The ahi tuna was good. Tasted fresh and not chewy. I could have eaten the ahi all day. I didn't eat all the wontons and I preferred to eat the wontons with the avocado, tomatoes and jalapeños. And the ahi tuna by itself. I didn't try the mozzarella sticks but he had no complaints. The women's restroom was cool. Part modern, part industrial decor. And you could see the pizza making section in the inner dining area. They also have games to keep you occupied. It was a surprisingly great meal. I would return. Pricey. Street parking.

Yelp
Telluride is such a beautiful city, and High Pie Pizza added to my great adventure. We stopped in for lunch. There wasn't a table available so we ate at the bar. The bartender was friendly, positive and gave great beer recommendations. The service was excellent. I ordered the hand tossed 12" create your own pizza. The toppings I chose were garlic, yellow peppers, red onions and pineapple. It was delicious, and I had plenty of leftovers. My beer choice, was the Face Down Brown by Telluride. Great experience overall.

Yelp
Such a great experience. The pizza was so good. Service and atmosphere were great, too. Off the main strip, this place has a great location, super roomy inside, and a great vibe.

Yelp
Probably the only place in town with the NFL ticket. Server wasn't very knowledgeable about gluten free option. Ordered the "Ollie " pizza on a cauliflower crust. It was made with a spicy Thai sauce , grilled chicken , yellow bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, red onions , chopped peanuts, sesame seed and mozzarella cheese. $4 up charge for the cauliflower crust. It was crisp, fresh and tasty. Also ordered the Cobb salad with chicken. After talking extensively about being celiac I was disappointed when the salad came with croutons. She did take it back to the kitchen and brought back another salad without croutons. Our server was was trying. I think she was having difficulty hearing us with our masks on and all the TV noise. Just not knowledge about gluten. Would recommend the cauliflower pizza and the NFL ticket.

Yelp
Best pizza place in Telluride! We had pizza 3 nights with our kids! Classy, space, clean, amazing options. We liked the hand tossed crust with garlic and parmesan. Loved the Chicken Chilli! Great kids menu! Ask for it! Such a great night and the dessert was so good with the M&Ms and ice cream.

Yelp
Had a great experience here! Got the gluten free pizza since my mom is gluten free but thought it was delicious. Our server was phenomenal and super friendly. Got a few apps that also hit the spot. No complaints just overall positive experience!
google avatar

Angie E.

Yelp
Absolutely love this pizza! I ordered the Beez Run pizza on gluten free bread and it was AMAZING. Spicy/Sweet honey. The staff was quick, attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great pizza & salads, service was a little lacking. We were there in the summer and it was hot eating inside, due to heat from kitchen.

Alex H.

Yelp
Food was good, however service was not up to par at all. The table next to us had to go up to the bar to get more drinks, server was slow and on their phone majority of the time. Then when leaving a low tip proceeded to say "learn how to tip P*****s" Talked to the owner after this and she had no ownership of the action of the servers action. Then proceeded to let him continue to yell about the tip. Personally I would not want to support a business that lets their employees act like this with no responsibility. Plenty of other great places to eat in Telluride.

Yelp
My stepmom and I popped in here for a lunch break while shopping and had a tasty meal! To start, we split their fried eggplant spears and they were delicious if you like eggplant! They come with their homemade ranch dressing but I also suggest getting a side of marinara for them, too! The portion is super generous so we had a lot leftover. For my entree, I ordered their whole cobb salad and can honestly say that it was one of the best cobb salads that I've ever had!! Their homemade ranch is to die for and they did not skimp on the avocado, chicken or veggies. If I lived in Telluride, I would be picking up this salad on the regular! The whole portion is HUGE so I could probably go with a half next time, especially if we order an app to start! All in all, we had a great lunch here. All tables/guests were nicely spaced out during Covid and our server was super friendly and safety conscious. We'll have to come back on our next trip to try their pizza! It looked delicious.

Yelp
Waiter added $10 to the tip. TOURISTS' BEWARE! My friend and I went to eat and have a drink at the bar. I paid the bill, and my friend paid the tip. The amount taken out of my bank account was $10 higher than the receipt I brought home.

Yelp
Stopped here after a full morning or hiking. Service was great. Food, not so much. I got the meat pizza. It was a lot of meat, but hardly any sauce, and crust didn't have the "savory toppings" I requested. Wings were meh. Not crispy, but baked. Buffalo flavor just ok. Bad part was the side of fries was a whopping $12! Beer was good, sour was good.

Clark S.

Yelp
Service was horrible. I sure wouldn't come in if this place was busy. Server was doing what he could to deal with the fact the kitchen and the GM couldn't produce. If I owned this place I would be embarrassed as hell. You put your servers in a horrible place and clearly don't care about the experience your customers have. So cut your kitchen fees and actually produce food. And if you run into issues into the kitchen, think about your experience first and your profits second. ---- Story goes like this. -- 4 adults, 5 children. -- 1st set of drinks came out fast. -- appetizers came 30 minutes later __ and then we feel apart. -- 1 dish, 2 dish -- no more dishes. -- where is the food? -- kitchen is backed up with online orders and no one wants to help? -- server claimed he went back to make a pizza and the appetizer himself. Cause sysco frozen by pretzel can't be hard to throw in. Look shit happens, but if your going to charge the premium, be the premium.

Yelp
I had the champagne salad and cauliflower crust pizza. Both were very good. Service was good except I like when the full order comes out at the same time.

Yelp
High Pie gave us a good meal. We were all hungry after doing a century ride, but I think the pizzas would've tasted pretty good either way. Got a couple pies off the menu and a couple custom creations. The custom pies were better. The Shifty wasn't bad but the taste test at the table was unanimous. The Goat Cheese salad was also tasty and definitely something I'd recommend alongside your pizza. The large was the right size for me and my girlfriend to share. As for the pizza sizes, seven of us split two smaller and two larger pies, a couple appetizers, and two or three salads. That was probably just the right amount of food, having about four slices but not a whole pie left at the end. We'd debated going here or to Brown Dog nearby. High Pie ended up winning because they were doing sit-down dining and not just takeout. Cool place on the inside. I like the bottles above the bar. Clean place. Attentive waiter. Quick turn from the kitchen (it was near closing time for food on a Saturday night). All in all, not a bad choice if you're in the mood for pizza.

Yelp
Thin crust pizza was raw and undercooked. It was pathetic. The bar tender was just plain rude. Sat at the bar eating while our drinks were empty. Acted put out to get us a glass of water. We took our pizza home and cooked it another 15 min in the oven. I would advise to wait for Brown Dog. This is a very poor substitute.

Suzanne N.

Yelp
Used to be a go to for good eats at good prices but sadly closed - will be missed very much. Thank you High Pie for all the years of great beer and food options, great staff, and reasonable prices normal people could afford.
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
To be honest, this wasn't our first choice for dinner last night. I had heard recommendations from family to try the Brown Dog Pizza, but they were only doing carry out. We went across the street to High Pie and there were probably just about 15-20 people inside during dinnertime. The layout of the restaurant is probably better served for groups of 6-8 and would be a lively bar scene for the right night. The best thing about this place by far was the unique and creative pizza menu. It took me about 15 minutes to decide between a few choices. The 12 inch is the perfect size if you are extremely hungry, but also plenty to split with another person.
google avatar

Yelp
Unimpressed with the pizza, got a thin crust cheese and it was pretty inedible. The other pizza was piping hot, but while I was 2 slices in I stopped eating because it was so cold and cardboard-ish. Additionally the service was sooooo slow, it was obviously our waitresses lunch hour, she was going between sitting at the bar eating with other people, to remembering to run over and get us waters/give us food since there wasn't anyone else to help her out. So it wasn't entirely her fault, girl had to eat, and she was very nice, but there should have been someone else to pick up the slack for her, since we sat there without food or water refills, languishing away. Also, the margaritas were perhaps some of the worst I've ever had, and feel like I should take this moment to remind bartenders everywhere that there should actually be tequila in a margarita and it should not taste like a melted lime popsicle of grossness lol. Don't need to go back when you can get way better pizza down the street @ Brown Dog Pizza!
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Food was really good, however, BE WARNED, they will offer you refills on your soda and charge you $3.50 for each one! Three smallish Diet Cokes added $10.50 to my bill for a meal that was already pretty pricey.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is always our go to when visiting Telluride. In previous years we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out inside and watching football while enjoying delicious pizza and beer. This year we ordered take out pizza 4 out of the 6 days that we stayed. It's SO GOOD. They have the classics and then some really fun flavor combinations that kept us coming back again and again (aka the mushroom medley!!) and the salads are also great! They are also very accommodating for food allergies. One of our family members is gluten, dairy and nut free and he had no problem getting a delicious pizza that he ordered 3 days in a row!
google avatar

Hailey A.

Yelp
Had my first flatliner of my trip here (basically a Telluride Espresso Martini)! We ate here after a day of traveling and the subs and white bean chilis were SO good! Definitely recommend stopping by - they also have a ton of TVs to watch any sports you may need to!
google avatar

Bethany W.

Yelp
It was fine. Our server was very nice, but overall meh. The pizza was hella greasy and limp. We only came here to watch the game. The hostess was on point.
google avatar

Christina F.

Yelp
Everything was tasty...pizza, champagne salad, adult beverages, but really raised the bar here was the service. The hostess was top notch and our server (Bryson) made our dinner more of an event. Excellent service!

Andrew T.

Yelp
Quick stop in. Ordered a beer and some wings. Beer was a beer but the wings hit the spot. 10 for $12....can't beat that. When ever I go here this place seems to deliver. I say this as I think others in town should take note of what they are doing and how they are doing it.
google avatar

Jacqueline D.

Yelp
Average pizza, but easy to get your name down and wait for some pizza. We came here since the Brown Dog had a 3 hour wait. Put our name down and we were told we'd get a call when the table was ready. We went back to our place and within the time promised, we got that call! We were hungry coming here. You can't split pies - only one type of toppings per pizza. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip as an app. This was super greasy, and not that tasty. We got the pizza that was basically a Supreme, which when it came out it was soggy/greasy and warm. I imagine it was sitting a while before it was served to us. We didn't love the food here - it felt super greasy and it was subpar pizza. The vibe here is fun, it's kind of like a sports bar with a huge selection of beer and lots of places to sit. I won't come back - will probably just wAit it out for Brown Dog pizza.

Yelp
I was at one of the bars on top of the mountains getting a nice craft beer when I over hear a gentlemen say " OMG that pizza was on fire last night, we should go there again tonight"! With a comment like that, I just had to ask! And boy was he right! I am very picky with my 5 star's but this place is aaaaamazing(or i was just high=D)! But, no really, everyone in the group enjoyed it! We ordered a 16"- Yard Sale Pizza and a few cock-tails. The Pizza was enough to feed 4 hungry adult males after a long day of shredding. The Pizza was beyond amazing, full of favors, thin breading and cheesy crust! The cock-tails were strong and worth the price! Overall, I/We had a great time here and will make a point to stop by the next time we are in town! KCYE Don

Cameron C.

Yelp
The food came out pretty quick. I thought the food was average, but would still recommend coming here. We sat outside. The views of downtown telluride and the mountains were pristine!
google avatar

Gary S.

Yelp
All the appetizers were very good. The Drinks, truffle fries, pizza bread, artichoke dip.

Ron L.

Yelp
5 stars for service, atmosphere and beer selection (20 on tap). Pizza was average, sauce not very flavorful. Meatballs good. Crusts were just ok. I would go back for beer and meatballs at bar!
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
First time eating here and the food was great! Family friendly. Our server Madison was very friendly! We got seated fast on a Saturday and got our food quick. Lots of local beers on draft. I recommend the Apricot Hefeweizen! Definitely coming back!

Julianne H.

Yelp
Outstanding service! We had the tuna poke nachos and the pretzel for the apps! They were amazing. We also had pizza and it was so good!
google avatar

Kevin T.

Yelp
Pizza was delicious. Service was terrible. I'll cut straight to it. The manager walked out of the back, saw a couple of food runners talking, lost it and started yelling at them. He dropped the F bomb several times in front of patrons of the restaurant, then walked up to the bar, sat down and ordered a drink. All with his mask on his chin. The staff who helped us was lackluster... guess what manager... it's because of you. Not them. Pizza was a 5/5 stars. Fire the dude with the big black beard, light grey shirt, and bad attitude... and you'll have the best pizzeria in Southwest Colorado.
google avatar

Paloma D.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday after the lunch crowd, and waited at the door to be seated as instructed. One kid came up, didn't look at us, and when asked how long the wait was he said "I don't know, I'm not wait staff." The second girl came up to the front, didn't even make eye contact while we were standing there waiting, reached under to get a bag, and left. At least she could have acknowledged us and said she would be right back, but she didn't even say one word. I figured service would be better for being a higher priced pizza joint, but not so much. We left without even being acknowledged that we were waiting. Too bad because they lost out on a good chunk of revenue from us. We get far better service from BeauJos in Idaho Springs as far as pizza places go!
google avatar

Adam L.

Yelp
Came here for dinner one night and got food for takeout and sit on the street and enjoy the great scenery of Telluride. People on the inside were not doing a good job of wearing masks when we stepped inside. They were also out of a lot of their beer choices too. We ordered a giant pretzel and a pepperoni pizza. The pretzel was decent. The pizza was good, but not great. For the price of what you pay, thought it could have been better.

Ryan M.

Yelp
It is impossible to get a hold of someone over the phone. I've tried to call for takeout, and when you press 2, the line just hangs up on me. When I press 3 for the events person, I've left two voicemails without any call back. Forget leaving a takeout order!
google avatar

Carly C.

Yelp
We originally were going to go to the Brown dog pizza but they were only doing takeout. Came here instead since we could dine in. All servers were wearing masks and following protocols. We ordered the truffle fries, they were amazing, loved the side aioli dip that came with it! Pizza was the house crust with tomatoes, basil, and we added pineapple. I really liked the thin crust, it's more like a cracker type of texture rather than a doughy thick pizza crust (a plus for me). They do offer gluten free options too! Service was good, our waiter was super attentive and friendly.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
Was literally just told by the hostess that she can't have "one person taking up a table" for lunch and had to wait for an opening at the bar which was completely full. Wow. What a joke for a resort town.
google avatar

Hannah J.

Yelp
Overpriced (in my opinion- seems to be the normal for Telluride) but I loved the pizza! Champagne salad.. Amazing!!! Definitey try this place out!
google avatar

Colton G.

Yelp
The food thought tasty wasn't what caught my eye with this restaurant. It was definitely the service there was a whole new feel in this restaurant than any other restaurant before this. So if you're looking for good food and five star service I say eat here.
google avatar

Kristi M.

Yelp
We had a very bad experience at this restaurant today. It's very sad considering that the owner Kristen told us she was too busy to help us and didn't care that we couldn't get help from our server. We simply needed condiments. We come to Telluride a couple of times a year and only ended up here because it was raining outside and our favorite restaurant is take out only. We will never be back. I only gave it one star because I had to. I'm tired of people using COVID as an excuse to be rude.
google avatar

Deryk E.

Yelp
This is great Pizza. There are some good places in Colorado to get pizza and it so happens that the two best are in Telluride. To be honest I cannot tell you which one is better. We ordered three pizzas and each one was amazing. I've attached pics for your perusal. The only downside was tha each time we went there was a bartender and one waitress. Your food is prepared when you order, and that means it's fresh and hot. With only one waitress, the wait to put in the order to wait is longer than the wait you waited for the pizza that is so worth the wait. Make sense?
google avatar

Kris V.

Yelp
Considering brown dog was take out only, the wait time here wasn't bad. 15 mins. The menu has some interesting combos and the prices are what you'd expect for a tourist town pizza place. Not terrible. Lotsa beer choices. So, they were out of tea, which is sad. Ok, ginger ale. Water was dropped off almost immediately. It took a bit longer than expected to get our drinks, and refills were never offered even though our glasses sat empty. The brownie dessert was delivered and was totally raw inside. We asked it be cooked a bit longer if possible, apparently it burnt because the waiter said we wouldn't want it. Offered a refund on it or a replacement. Just refund. After a while, he asked if we wanted other food. Ordered a calzone, pizza, beer. After a while, the waiter asked if I wanted something other than chicken because they ran out, ok pepperoni. Food was dropped off a few minutes later, no protein. At this point the waiter looks incredibly frustrated. Nice looking place, comfy, good table size for groups, no hooks in the bathrooms for jackets- which seems to oddly be the norm in a town who's year round weather requires a jacket. Food was yummy and there was plenty of it. Though it was a glitchy visit, I'd come back.

Yelp
This place was good! My dad and I split the table top pizza which includes Canadian bacon, pineapple, jalapeños, and cilantro. It had a really good kick to it with the jalapeños! My step mom got the asian salad which she said was good and my sister got the meatball sub with a ceaser salad which she said was really good, but that there was a little too much cheese on both the sub and the salad. Our waitress said that this restaurant just switched over to being full service from more of a fast casual/cafeteria set up 2 months ago so everybody is sort of learning the new system, but everything was quick and pleasant!

Yelp
5 on food, 2 on service. Our server was extremely inattentive. We sat with empty drinks for most of our meal, which he may have noticed if he'd been the one to actually bring our food out. When we first sat we told him we were all extremely thirsty, but the comment went unnoticed. Food was great. Yard Sale Pizza didn't disappoint. Meatball sub needed a little more ground beef and less Italian sausage.
