15 Places to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Eve in Los Angeles | Eater

"The best part of celebrating St. Patrick’s in Los Angeles? The weather! Enjoy the tropical ambiance on the outdoor patio at High Tide in Downtown L.A. Bright pink walls and a flamingo mural greet you as you enter and the beachy atmosphere continues when you get a Prickly Pear Paloma or Blue Hawaiian. It’s not your traditional St. Patrick’s, but you’ll be immediately relaxed and ready to celebrate as soon as you walk in." - Vox Creative

LA’s Best New Bars Of 2019 - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"This Downtown LA bar in between the Arts District and Little Tokyo is eminently on-trend in nearly every way: They’ve got frosé on tap, it’s entirely pink inside, and there’s even a fully functioning glass-blowing studio on the patio outside. And despite the Instagrammable beverages and high-key design flourishes, this is actually a low-key great spot, and one that we make excuses to visit basically anytime the sun is out (so, a lot). They’re beer and wine only, so they get creative with cocktails, including a couple involving sake. Plus, that frosé is not to be missed - or messed with. It’s seriously strong, so proceed with caution." - Brant Cox, Kat Hong, Brett Keating

High Tide Review - Little Tokyo - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Located in between Little Tokyo and the Arts District, High Tide is where you’ll find us drinking every day this summer. The indoor/outdoor space has a full restaurant component with a solid brunch menu (get the lobster mac and cheese), but everyone is really here to sit on the large patio and drink frosé all afternoon. The all-pink/flamingo aesthetic is definitely a bit much, but the crowd is cool and low-key (for now), so you don’t care. Also, there’s a guy in the corner doing live glass blowing." - Brant Cox

I brought the New Year 2025 in here. This place has great vibes. And it gives and remind me of Miami vibes. I would definitely go again. The Dj was playing all good music. They also did the countdown and had balloons drop. They have indoor or outdoor option.

This venue is great from the moment you walk in to the staff at the bar. I had the pleasure of going to the CapiCua event and this is where it was hosted on Sunday. The security team here is professional and the bar tenders and workers do a phenomenal job keeping everything in order while everyone is enjoying themselves in the venue. The only struggle this establishment has which isn’t their fault is location. I don’t recommend parking too far or driving to the venue at all if you aren’t aware of how that section of LA works. None the less a great venue and great people! I can see many successful nights happening over and over due to the management team at this location.

Google
Attended afterparty following AX, seedy dive off of sketchy streets, food was cheap and yet free would have been charging too much for how awful it was paired with the hair in the food. Service was atrocious, female server at the bar was incredibly rude, and should be nowhere near a service job with the amount of attitude and disgust she showed for patrons. Tldr. Dont go, youd be better off spending your time chatting with the homeless people in tents 50 feet from the doors

This bar is amazing. It has a wide open space for dancing or socializing, a long bar with many options of wine, beer, cocktails, Kambucha, and non- alcoholic options. They also have a good food menu. There is a DJ and outdoor seating with security at the entrance. Pricing is average and service is very good here. When they close they give you a 15 min warning and politely ask for you to leave.

I came buy because my car was around the corner at Will's Auto Repair. Really charming little place. It has a South Beach Vibe which made me feel at home as I'm from South Beach. The bartender was great and it allowed me to spend the time I had to fix my car in a beautiful setting. I saw one of the patrons had ordered some food and it looked delicious. All in all a great little neighborhood bar for the arts district.

Google
Great place! Good beer selection, good food, great service! The live glass blowing is a fun and enticing entertainment. The live DJ kills it with stellar hits, new and old. 10/10.

Inviting, fun, cool place! Service is stellar! I had the Desert Ice; it was so tasty I had two. Also had the Scallop Crudo, also yummy. I will definitely return and will make sure to spread the word.

Google
AWFUL AND UNSAFE LOCATION AROUND LADIES BE AWARE . While it was safe inside the outside is as bad as it gets. You couldnt pay me enough to go back to that part of LA.My review is only for the see you there hip hop event ( past 9 pm ) nothing else . I did not try any food (so i cant speak about that) First of all this place doesnt have this own parking and the website was no help you have to figure it out . The location is terrible every street and every corner is FILLED with homeless i dont recomnend parking in the street like they suggest especially if you are a women . This lounge / club is SMALL indoor and outdoor . The see you there event was completly DEAD . The so called "dj " sucks and couldnt play two song together to save her life . Apple music , computer , ipod , amazon music have smoother better transation than that 🤣 she might as well let music play from her computer it may have been better . She kept on playing songs she likes but couldnt read the room no one else like them or were dancing . People were leaving QUICK . I never seen a place were people leave so fast . It felt more like a high school dancefloor . The place inside is beautiful and clean i will give them that. The patio area is cute and relaxing . They got a fun photobooth inside.the staff checking id and scanning tickets was nice .i dont recommend going to party at night its really empty and sad looking . I also left as i couldnt be more bored and annoy by the "dj" . Its a hell to the no for me when it comes to their hip hop party .

Yelp
Found this place through a facebook ad on eventbrite, promoting a 2000 hiphop/R&B themed night.....and although the place surrounding the establishment can be sketchy (its located along Little Tokyo) but upon going in, the party was a blast (they're doing Jamaican nights before the actual theme I came for). It was a WILD night....best night of my whole vacay in L.A. before going home on the next day. Can't wait to come back to this place again (if they're doing the 2000 hiphop/R&B themed night again).

Yelp
Nice looking bar! Fabulous and trendy. I came in pretty early on a Saturday. I noticed a lot of bars don't open til 6/7pm in DTLA. This location is very close to the Arts District. Lots of dancing space inside and out. They have a cute Photo Op in the front with a big heart. Because I it was so early in the day, 4pm, no one else was there. So I ending up just chatting with the bartender, Brandon. He was very nice and personable. He knew a lot about the area which I thought was very nice. Definitely a great spot to hang and enjoy the vibes. $21 for a margarita (Don Julio)

Yelp
After having decided we needed to change up from beer to something else, my brother in law wanted a tiki vibe and High Tide came up. After we drove past we thought it was closed if it wasn't for the door guy. We had a dog and a kiddo with us and so the big question mark was if they were cool with both. The door guy was cool to go and ask; he knew dogs were but wasn't sure about the kid. Fortunately, it was quiet enough-it was early afternoon so there wasn't much going on. I could definitely see this place being a club type spot when the sun goes down but in the afternoon it was a nice quiet spot to sit and relax. We were outside but the bartender came out to give us menus but let us know that we would have to go in to order-not a big deal. Our visit the Frose machine was down but neither of us was interested in that. The kitchen wasn't available either but that was fine too. However, their cocktail selection didn't have anything whiskey based so I went with a beer. My BiL went with a one of their soju based cocktails. It was a nice chill place-can't comment on what it's like at night but it's definitely a place I would bring your friends with kids for a nice relaxing day drink.

Yelp
Such a cute lil bar nested in such a shady location in downtown! I came for an event and there was plenty of free street parking (it was after meter hours) but all the open spots were next to homeless people, tents, broken glass, and frightening sights. But hey, free parking is free parking. I got a frozen lemonade (alcohol free) because I was driving. Their cocktails normally are around $14-20 depending on what you get. The bar itself is very cute with lots of neon lights, a photo booth, indoor and outdoor seating. It's a cute vibe for large gatherings. The frozen lemonade was TART - they didn't skimp on the lemons or sugar at all (or what ever syrup they used). Service is super friendly, they have restrooms, no wifi, water is available to whoever wants it (pour it yourself).

Yelp
I was attracted to make a mid-day stop here for a drink on a Saturday based on the photos but when we arrived, it was nearly empty. We walked here from Little Tokyo which I would necessarily recommend as you're passing by rows of homeless areas and various feces (literally). There not too much else around the area except another venue across the street. The decor was lush green surrounding the area to help you forget you're in the the city. The seats and tables and walls are a little worn that could use a little update. You have to order inside and then can sit in the patio. There have wind sprinklers on top to cool you off, but all I kept thinking was that water getting in my drink. I ordered the 'Hibiscus El Diablo' and it wasn't for me. I usually love ginger beer drinks but I didn't like it with the agave wine. I got a sense this is more of a night spot, but unfortunately not for me.

Yelp
High Tide was not what I pictured. It's right up against Skid Row so don't come thinking that it's part of the Arts District. The patio looked so cute with the pink tropical vibes but it seemed a bit run down. They currently only offer wine, beer and Soju cocktails. They serve food but we were just here for the drinks! We did really enjoy the drinks but it was one and done for us because there was nothing that really compelled us to stay past that. We went with a Frose and a Malibu Colada. They were both refreshing for a hot day and I thought the Malibu Colada was really unique. Perhaps it would be worth coming back when they have an event going on.

Yelp
First I want to say I was excited to try this bar, I had very high expectations knowing that I was pulled in by good reviews and cool photos. I came here knowing that the place does look nice inside and out. Now I rarely give out less than 4 stars. I am being nice rating 3 stars knowing that perhaps this Friday night was a situation that happened to be different than how it really is. Me and my friends came here strictly for cocktails and to enjoy the atmosphere. I can not speak for food as we did not order food. I was upset, knowing I got a poured premade margarita and espresso martini. I did not see those drinks get shaken at all. Not sure if the bartender was happy to be there but there were good amount of staff if the night got busy. I was really hoping to have a salt rim on my margarita at least. I kinda cried inside knowing that this can't be true. I will try again but I was disappointed first time there. :/

Yelp
Come by for a cocktail..they will be fully open in a few weeks!! They had their 3 year anniversary soft opening tonight--after being closed during quarantine, they're finally coming back!! New additions include a remodeled outdoor space which includes a new outdoor bar, restrooms, food window... and of course the planty haven inspired by one of the co-owners' passion for plants! I love the vibe here.. from the outdoor space, to the stage and live music, and art gallery (which is currently filled with plants). Highly recommend checking out this spot for their lovely decor, awesome crowd and delicious flamingo inspired drinks!

Yelp
We came here for brunch and thought this place was just okay. The food could have been better. I got the Avocado Toast which was bland and my bf got tater tots, eggs, and toast. We both got their cold brew coffees, which was also just okay. The place was very cute and trendy though. They decorated the place with pink flamingos, palm trees, a bunch of patio furniture, and a mini white garden gazebo - all very Instagramable. If you go inside, the velvet furniture gives you kind of a vintage vibe except with pink and flamingos everywhere. It looked like a very hip and trendy place. When we first went, it was back in August 2019 and there were maybe two other groups there. It was a hot day so they had their misters going and it kind of gave you a cool beer garden-like vibe. You could tell this was going to be the next trendy spot to day drink. I'm not much of a drinker so I can't comment on their drinks but I think it'd be worth a try if this sounds like scene.

Yelp
Fun times! From the security to the bartenders everyone was warm and welcoming. The back patio is really cute and great for groups. My favorite gem was the photobooth :)

Yelp
I came here black Friday and was able to get metered parking right next to the location. Not sure if I got lucky or if there was no one out that night due to the holiday. There was no one there either so our drinks came our right away. I got the frozen rosé. It was pink and delicious and I finished the whole thing! We were there during happy hour so I got it $1 off. We sat outside and even though it was cool, we had the fire lamp on. It was so pretty outside with the lights and wooden seats. They have multiple tables outside and even a gazebo like corner. They also have a photo booth. All in all, I really liked this location due to easy parking, the affordable frozen drinks, and the ambiance.

Yelp
Attended an Event for KAJA BEAUTY. The parking area was actually it bad I used e meter for a few hours. The outside was cute, as I walked in the patio it was so pretty, pink chairs beautiful green palms super LA. There was a DJ set up & stage High top tables and a few short ones. Nice size bar Instagram Worthy if that's what you're looking for :) This was my first time here I would definitely want to come back to have drinks with friends.

Yelp
The pink patio looked like it's a rooftop bar on other pictures. It isn't. It is a tiny patio that could easily get crowded. I came on a Saturday around 2pm. I was really surprised that the frosé flight and the charcoal frosé were not available. That was very disappointing. I got the blue flamingo and my friend got the frosé. For $12 each you'd think they'd fill your glass up all the way instead of half way. It was such a rip off and you don't even taste the alcohol. Taste wise the blue flamingo had more flavor. My friend ordered their avocado toast without herbs. She was gagging the whole time eating it and it really was the worst avo toast I have had. The bread wasn't crunchy like toast but thick and fluffy on the inside. The avocado tasted like an avocado dip. It has a very creamy consistency, instead of mashing avocado they blended it. The tomatoes on top is weird too.

Yelp
Great new place for collaboration in DTLA! Don't let the exterior fool you as High Tide is neighboring the Toy district, Arts district, and skid row. The interior is nice and modern with art installations, orchids as table placement, and other pleasing to the eye items. Spacious, nice seating, free WiFi and power source, food and drinks. There is also a patio area that would look very neat after being lit up at night as well as a machine to blow glass? Maybe they have an event periodically. Parking: Street VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

Alison H.

Yelp
A few coworkers and I decided to check this place out one day after work and are so happy we did. The food was great!! We tried the Serrano ham sandwich & Caprese one and couldn't decide which one we loved better. We also have to give a shout-out to the bartender Sarah. She is perfect for this place. Really cool vibe! So pleasant with everyone & her personality shone through. Please don't let her go!

Yelp
My friends wanted to get together and chill on a Friday night. I chose this place, which easily accomdated our group of 7. It is a wine bar. You order wine, beer and/or h'ordeurves here. To my surprise, if you're hungry, they also have really delicious burgers (which sets itself apart from all other wine bars). A DJ plays classic hip hop songs from the 90s. Cute pink decor, whimsical flamingos, lanterns in their outdoor patio with heat lamps, while you sip on your drink and chat with friends, watching glass blowers make art. They will offer glass blowing classes as well. It is located on the border of Little Toyko and Arts District, unfortunately near skid row. As I walked on the street, I did not see a single homeless person. There was plenty of parking. I ordered a glass of Friends gerwurstraminer blend (hey for $8 what a deal) crisp spring white slight sweet, and a Moubuzz grenache/syrah/mouvoudre (if you like French Rhone valley red blends, this is it) a very clear light slightly sweet pleasant wine. I like these grape varietals, and they were good. Other drinks they have include mimosas, frozen, non-alcoholic concoctions, coffee/tea. For food, most of us orderd the Roasted Mushroom sandwich which is divine and House Roast Beef burger. See pics. I'm in love with this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Great new addition to Arts District! Granted it is a bit further away than all the other spots, I think they have a great concept. It's a beer/wine bar, with amazing food options, glassblowing and live DJs at night! They have lots of craft beers to pick from, their own brew, cold brew on tap, frosé, wine, you name it! We tried all 3 of the frosés, all 3 of them were amazing and I got a sour beer as well. The food menu sounds amazing, but we were only here to grab a quick drink before having an early birthday dinner. The patio area has a lot of spots for some great IG pics especially the bird cage. I can see this spot being great in the summer time, but it was a little bit too cold when we visited.
google avatar

Rachel D.

Yelp
If you're looking for a cute tropical get away to soak up some sun, this place is THE cutest. Beer, wine, soju, and frose for now. (Heard from the owner the liquor license is coming soon!). The wine is all organic, beer is all from local breweries and they still have fun soju cocktails. Yummy easy eating snacks, the most ADORBZ photo ops. Highly recommend! Can't wait to see what the full bar brings!

Yelp
High Tide has chill vibes and cute atmosphere. Very instagram-able. Found this place on Yelp and stopped by for afternoon drinks on the patio. The location is not great - it was near Skid Row (which we didn't know about, but had to find out the hard way when walking to the bar....felt very unsafe on the streets). We ordered beer and frose. Frose was a bit pricey ($12). It was a refreshing drink, but could not really taste the alcohol. Resembled more of a fruit slushie. Overall, High Tide is a cute place to hangout. However, average drinks and bad location.
google avatar

Lin C.

Yelp
The venue itself is an instagrammer's dream, and I wish I could say that the same about the food. The frosé was in the making and I was told that it was going to take a bit of time for it to be ready, which was fine. So I waited.. and honestly when I got the drink, the quantity is a little underwhelming for the price of it ($12) Our charcuterie board came with saltines and mustard a little everywhere, and to be honest, was not what we expected especially based on the only other picture of the charcuterie board on yelp-- feel free to compare. We didn't have any thing to eat on or with, but eventually got plastic utensils and paper plates. I get that it is a bar, but since they have actually seats and tables we expected a little more. Also, we ordered shrimp cocktail and I didn't notice till the very end that we didn't actually get that...? And they made us something that was more like a shrimp scampi and wasn't on the menu.. a little confused but okay. Overall, this place is definitely very cozy with plenty of space and good live music. But don't expect too much if you're coming here for the food.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were in the area, so we decided to check this place out. We came in the early afternoon and it was completely empty. I almost thought it was closed. The bartender Nikki was so friendly and made the best mimosa I've ever had. The frozen cocktails were also really good. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is pretty cool. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Relaxing and fun amid many unique things. We had a birthday party for an one-year-old baby with families and friends gathering around the table on Sunday morning, 11am. I was surprised at once as I was getting into the restaurant, welcoming by the pretty patio with pastel pink tables and flamingos. (I wasn't surprised at all by Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas.) In addition, there's a photo booth to take photos for fun. Inside, there's a bar with two pretty girls, a stage with theater lights, and also flamingos on wall welcoming instead of hostesses at the door. Filled with music, hustle and bustle to decorate with balloons and paper tapes, and Korean one-year-old baby birthday celebrating traditional settings in the middle, hugging each other, sipping violet cocktails, chatting and laughing, eating snacks and sandwiches, taking photos, dates hand in hand, opening champagnes and wine bottles, children running, all the happiness melting into the pastel pink airy restaurant. Other customers coming and going to have boozes while we had a five-hour party, the chef having grocery shopping in the middle of party, saying oh I've never experienced this too many orders at once while I've been working at this restaurant, that's why all the food was really fresh including sandwiches, oh my god, really chewy, flavorful, delicious. The handsome security guard at the gate, and free parking on Sunday are bonus.
google avatar

Bridget G.

Yelp
This is the cutest hidden bar! I never would have noticed it in the Arts District, but inside is a flamingo-ridden, colorful, happy, tropical oasis. I love the patio and the bright interior. I'd love to come here on a warm day. Menu consists of beer, wine, frozen drinks, and snacks/cheese plates. My lady date ordered a soju-based mule, which wasn't very good. We both really liked their beer selection, though. No hard liquor. I wish they had servers, because since there were only 2 of us, we had to hope no one took our seats each time we went to the bar (and no menus outside, either). Happy hour deals weren't the greatest and the menu was a little limited, but it's a very cute, relaxed place. Maybe not a main destination but worth stopping by.
google avatar

Megan R.

Yelp
It kind of feels like they took a list of the most LA things ever and implemented all of them into one space. Like, if you want to lounge on an aesthetically pleasing pink patio with your little dog and eat an avocado toast and listen to a live DJ and raise a toast to your best friend (you with a frosé and your friend with a charcoal-infused something or other, obviouisly), THIS IS THE PLACE. All joking aside, this place is cool. I'd call it Arts District adjacent as it's in an interesting area between DTLA and the Arts District--I'm sure as both areas expand it will be right in the thick of things, but for now it's sort of alone on a block. They've got an art installation in the front window so it's easy to spot, and both times I've been here they've had a door guy checking IDs (not kiddo-friendly). One of the bartenders told me that this bar is shared by someone in the F&B industry, someone in the music industry, and a glass blower (note the glass blowing station on the patio). What a combo! Really like that they have live music or a DJ four nights per week (plus trivia on Wednesdays, if you're into that sort of thing). There's a decent amount of seating inside and out, and I will say the mural and velvet chair combo makes the inside quite a vibe. Drinks are maaaaybe a little overpriced (for instance, PBR is $5 on happy hour which, like, already feels like a lot) but if I really want cheap drinks I can head to a dive bar. Fun spot for out of towners and locals alike! I recommend checking it out.
google avatar

Yelp
It is in an awkward area of LA but once you get inside, you will feel like you're in paradise! After hearing and seeing many positive reviews around this place on Yelp and social media, High Tide has been on my radar for a while. When a friend asked me to recommend a spot in LA to check out for a double date with me and my boyfriend, I knew this was the spot we had to check out. When we arrived here on a Saturday late afternoon, I immediately felt day club vibes (probably because there was loud tropical house playing and a couple of tipsy people... LOL). The color palette of their interior consists of fun colors like bright pink and blue, which makes the atmosphere fun. There's benches outside if you prefer to be out in the sun and there's a few tables inside. One thing to note is that their service is fast casual, where you place your order at the bar, take a number, and have your order delivered to wherever you choose to hang out at. Nonetheless, it's a pretty hip place to hang out at. As far as their menu, they have various of beer, wine, and soju drinks (since they're only able to get a beer and wine license). Their most popular drinks are their frosé and blue flamingo slushie (which is probably not surprising based on what you see in the pictures). Out of all the drinks on their menu, their slushies stood out to me the most. Both were really good with soft texture. Though, I did favor the blue flamingo one over the frosé. Now on to their food, which are more like appetizers for sharing. My personal favorites were the ahi tuna and this shrimp on bread thing (I forgot the name). Their oysters were great as well but my preference goes to their shrimp and tuna! My least favorites would have to be their charcuterie and pesto pasta. The flavor was a tad off for my taste buds but it may be because they have their own twist to things. For the most part, I enjoyed my time here and would would to come back again soon for another glass of Blue Flamingo while trying some of their other food items.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Only came here for a drink - the frose - which was this fun frozen drink but we were a bit disappointed with the food menu. Their brunch menu only included a few things - oysters, a few breakfast items and toast. We had just come from oriel, which had mostly toast items as well. Still the frose was good and the decor was really cute.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place out for an event I paid for $36 dollars for 3 people(including myself). Just location wise not in a good atmosphere if you love being surrounded by homeless, trash and rats?! Mind you this was around 10pm street parking only. Line was quick and security was help and friendly. Went inside staff was friendly when scanning my tickets. Cute decorations at the main entrance. Going inside was made into a little dance floor for the djs. Went outside to the patio tried out a watermelon margarita which is premade?? I find that to be weird? Paid in cash $16 dollars for some ice straw and a lime on the side along with a premade drink..bartender looked annoyed. They had 3 vendors there. Went to the main bar where she made my Long Island ice tea and I'm talking about MADE it not premade. Was bummed they weren't serving any food that night that's what I get coming on an empty stomach. It's a decent place maybe better in the day time?

Yelp
Not to sound like a sad parent but it's just that...this place has so much potential but decides to make stupid decisions like fill a cup half up with a frose that costs $12. WHY HIGH TIDE? The frose is good! But don't play these games with me. If I wanted to be sober & sad I'd just stay at home on a work night jeez Came here on a Friday night and it was EMPTY. Like there was 12 people max in this whole place and we were a group of 5... guess if you like quiet places on a usually busy night at the arts district this is your spot? Anyways rants aside this place is cuuute. Pink everywhere, flamingoes, Avocado toast, and cute couches. Super instagrammable. There's also glass blowing which seems out of place but pretty cool! Service - a okay! Parking - street parking

Yelp
CUTEST WINE BAR EVER! The atmosphere/vibes of the place were SO aesthetic and cute, and it wasn't that busy on a Sunday night. Everywhere you look is essentially picture-worthy. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors with live music at set hours! I got the frosé which was good but for $12 you only get half a glass worth, which is pretty sad for the price. Staff also could have been a little nicer tbh OVERALL very cute place to hang out and meet with friends but service/portion size are mediocre

Yelp
Man! Before visiting High Tide, I gave up hope in Art District. High Tide made me a believer again that LA Art District is about creative people getting together rolling up their sleeves to make things happen for all. One after another so called celebrity chef owned expensive restaurants saturating this piece of land; driving up cost in parking & dishes. Lacking luster, and spirit of the LA Art District. Services and food are not parallel to what they charging you. High Tide is a fresh breathe of air. I was breaking a sweat watching glass blowing by artist Ivan Mora. Very intriguing and he didn't mind talking to the on-lookers. Brunch menu is easy to choose. Drinks are good too. My bae was with me so I tried not to order the Froze, which I wish I had it. I ordered the lobster scrambled eggs. Quite tasty, they actually put a cute edible flowers on it. Drum rollingggggggggg THERE YARD IS SO PRETTY!!! I came right after they opened the door. I snapped lots of photos and it turned quite happenings when ladies start showing up. Guys, you won't feel left out as it is a bar with expansive list of beer. My bae got an Unicorn Juice and talked with the artist having a good time. Thanks for opening up your space to the public. :) Video here! But you need to be there to experience it yourself:) https://www.instagram.com/tv/Bva44DmHt8d/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=194h2v0u9u3h5

Yelp
This has been on my Bookmarks list for quite some time, and I finally found time this weekend to give it a quick visit! After I posted the picture below on instagram, friends started messaging me asking me where this place was! Surprisingly, it is easily missed because the exterior is a bit run down, but don't doubt it.. the security guard outside is nice and will gladly let you in! Inside, they serve frozes which is something that I've been craving and it was perfect for the sunny day! We got all three kinds and all were great. My personal favorite was the Desert Ice (lemonade-based). This place is very highly rated as a trendy Instagram spot. It is relaxing and it is a place to bring your friends if you want to impress them. I couldn't really taste the alcohol in the frozes also, so even more delicious! This is a dog-friendly place, so you're welcomed to bring your pups!

Yelp
Cute, trendy bar which is dog friendly! They have plenty of seating inside and out on their patio. Came during a weeknight so it wasn't busy but it was nice to have room to explore the bar with my dog. There's plenty of street parking available around. On weeknights, they only have the Froze available under their frozen cocktail list. However, on weekends, they have the other two as well. The Froze was really good and refreshing. We also tried the High Tide beer. I really enjoyed this one! It had a light, florally taste to it. The space is super cute with a pop up art gallery in the front and a glass blowing studio in the patio where you can watch someone create something on weekend nights.

Yelp
This is such a cute/instagram-able little place! Totally did not know there was this little gem in the area its' located. There's an inside portion of the bar and and outside area. The outside area is very chill. Reminds me of a little WeHo rooftop bar. Good vibes and the frozes are bomb! I work super close to here so I will definitely suggest this place for a drink and snacks.

Yelp
Love this little bar! 5/5 for having delicious drinks and allowing dogs in! The decor of this place made me feel like I was in the tropics. Man, the frosé!!!! GET IT, any of them. We went for the soju based one and it was sooo good on this hot day. Definitely would come again and bring more friends!

Yelp
Cute place! My friend and I decided to check out this place after dinner for some light drinks. It's kind of in an isolated area so finding street parking was not a problem. When I walked in I loved the tropical vibes and I felt like I wasn't in DTLA. We had some froses. The Black Magic was quite good, don't let the color fool you! Make sure to check out their art installation room as well.

Yelp
It's a nice space, we came here for some afternoon drinks. Nice patio, has a real vaporwave vibe to it with all the pastel colors. They have an interesting wine selection, with wines made locally and also some exotic varieties you don't usually see on the menu, like some greek orange wines. The wines that we ordered came out a bit warm for whites, should've been cooler, to get that maximum crispness. It was ok, but I mentioned it to the bartender when closing our bill, she apologized and took 10% off the bill because she said that we weren't satisfied. I didn't really need her to do that but that was a kind gesture. I'd come back to try their menu, they have oysters and sandwiches, it looked interesting. Also apparently you take a glassblowing workshop here and well blow some glass lol.

Yelp
Went for one of their Sunday events and had a great time. Super super cute outdoor patio and their frozen drinks are fun. Generally great vibes from the servers and patrons. DJ was awesome. Only missing a star because it is not in the best area, but that's LA for ya

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday brunch after seeing the pretty decor pictures on yelp but was a bit disappointed. The one thing i definitely want to highlight is that there was a staff member who was very accommodating with helping us take group pictures. However, the food took a very long time to come out and despite us ordering right after another, one of our friends had to wait long past our foods came out and we noticed the other table getting their food before one of our friends as well. Food was ok but didn't seem that outstandingly special. The restaurant was pretty empty so we were hoping for quicker service. Also was a bit interesting that they did not have takeout boxes. The vibe of the restaurant is very promising but I would recommend they add a couple more items to their menu to really stand out in the competition of great food spots in dtla as well as to work on the speed of their kitchen staff.

Yelp
This place is cute. I don't remember if they had food, but the drinks were great. The outside area is beautifully decorated, it was not what I was expected. Actually this entire place wasn't what I thought. It was much better!!! We listened to live music, while watching a man blow glass. A few of us tried to guess what he was making, but we we all wrong, lol. Next time I have a babysitter, I'll definitely be back again.

Yelp
Instagramable little spot but unfortunately lacks quality. The person behind the bar was very very nice, but the drinks were terrible. For our first drink of the night, it was Very disappointing to see that we were paying $16 +tip for a "cocktail" that is simply premade/ batch made with who knows what quality liquor and then simply poured into a cup like I'm pouring a cup of juice. I ordered the prickly pear Paloma, my friend ordered a margarita and Not only were both drinks overly sweet, but it made us feel sick to our stomach soon after we left. Maybe this place was better years ago but it definitely isn't the place to go now. First and last time I step foot In there

Yelp
Plenty of parking, plenty of homeless and right next to a daily fish market.

Yelp
Don't let the exterior fool you. Once you walk in you can't tell you're anywhere near DTLA. Their frozen drinks are bomb and dangerous. Can't really taste the wine. . Their beer selection changes regularly from what I hear. There is a good sized patio that is incredibly relaxing. Love that. The inside is very modern with a stage. I came here on Jazz night. Loved it. You kind of get a hipster laid back feel here. I was able to try the scallop crudo which is like a scallop ceviche. Bomb. I really love the smoked halibut was delicious.

Yelp
I've come here twice and both times it was pretty empty. The first time unfortunately the frozen drink machines were not working so we ordered wine instead. The second time, I got to try the frozen drinks and they were pretty good. Not surprisingly, they drinks were very sweet, but that's pretty standard for frosé. We also inadvertently attended trivia night which was fun and lead to us getting our second round on the house! They also threw in a pretty blown glass flower that I think the owner made.

Yelp
This place is a bit different than my expectation. First from the images that were shown here, the colors were a lot more vibrant and "instagramable". This place's actual colors are a lot more faded. The furniture are a bit outdated and worn out, but still kind of cute. The location is near art District, there are a few meters near it but if they were full, I definitely would note park a few streets down as it is VERY close to skid row. Might not be too safe for a few girls to walk down to get Happy hour. We ordered the happy hour combo which was a great deal, $45 bucks for a dozen of absolutely perfect Kushi oysters with a jug of mimosa. Very happy with the price for this and we would come back hopefully to eat the same oysters. The staff are very friendly and nice, they forgot our orders but made it up with a shot of soju which we really appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would come back.

Yelp
So much fun! My fiancé and I went here on a Saturday afternoon and there were a lot of seating options-- indoor and outdoor! The decor is super cute, great for Instagram! I didn't love the frozen cocktails but there are other options too. My fiancé loved his beer. The server was very friendly too!

Yelp
Super cute spot!! The frozés were amazing. Just sweet enough without being overwhelming. And the food arrived quickly. I'll start with the avocado toast - it's pretty big. I found the hard crust a bit challenging and ultimately decided to forego it. Now, on to the oysters. Never tried them. Never had a desire to. But they presented really nicely and I was challenged to try something new... They weren't terrible but texture can make it or break it for me and I learned that oysters are not for me. At least I can say I tried. What I really loved, though, was the lobster mac & cheese. It was delicious and contained generous portions of both bacon and lobster. So savory! I'd return for a frozé and this dish alone!
