Highland Bow & Arrow

SO fun! It's so cool that we have Jay here to give this experience! We went here twice this fall and loved it. We are all total beginners, and Jay was an excellent instructor. She observed every one of us carefully as we shot so she could give each of us pointers and tweak our form etc to help us improve. Seriously talented woman. She is well stocked with beautiful equipment to use, and the trails she takes you on are absolutely lovely. I highly recommend Highland Bow & Arrow for a super fun afternoon out!

We are so glad we booked this! Jay was such a great teacher for us first timers, she made the experience simple and relaxed! The 3D shoot was well worth it and really let our competitive side!

Jay is an excellent instructor. It was our first lesson ever and Jay has made us both want to go out and buy bows! We found this on google maps and are so glad we booked a lesson. Everyone should try this!

We are barely childless, due to Covid-19 and a lot of restrictions on things we decided to stay as close to home and enjoy Cape Breton. We arrived a little early but Jay was happy to get started and was happy to be in the new location. I had not shot a bow in about 18 years or so. I was really impressed how much she went over all the items we needed to know such as how to tell what your dominate eye is, not to dry draw a bow. My wife was a completely new shooter and I wasn't sure how it was going to go. I will say Jay took her time with us gave pointers and really was there for guidance but let us have fun with it. She was a wonderful instructor and could not have asked for a better day. I suggest if you're thinking about doing this please do yourself A favor and go it was amazing, if you're thinking about a team building exercises, thinking about a company get away it was perfect for all of these. We will be here again and soon, my wife is really exciting and she will be looking to get into the sport for the near future.

I was here for the first time a couple weeks ago and had the best time ever! This was the highlight of our Cape Breton trip! Trying archery for the first time was a little intimidating but Jay was such an amazing instructor and I left feeling like a pro! So much fun, 15/10 recommend.. Thanks a million Jay :)

Such an amazing experience everything about it! I went there thinking I knew how to shoot a bow and arrows until I met Jay. She showed me that I didn't Really know archery....yet. And I learned some amazing techniques from Jay to improve my skills. Can't wait to take them home and practice! And I can't wait to go back and try the 3D targets and stay in the cabins. What an amazing setup and idea this is for a business

Highly recommend ! We had an amazing time at Highland Bow & Arrow. Jay was a great instructor and made it so much fun for our little group. The 3-D trail was a blast And had beautiful views. We had so many laughs along the way. Will definitely be back for more and to check out the Wreck Cove Wilderness Cabins.

This is a great 1-hour activity along the Cabot Trail. Ms. Jay is simply fantastic. She had my kids shooting arrows with precision in minutes. The kids had so much fun as did we. A terrific activity for family's or friends.
