This was a highlight of our vacation and a must-do if you are in the area. The views from the top are gorgeous and it is well worth the price. The Park Service staff were friendly and knowledgeable, even offering to take a picture of all of us with the beautiful backdrop. Note: There is a ladder that requires some dexterity to get to the inside of the lighthouse - not many steps, but you do have to get up and down it. There is a gift shop on site and restrooms just down the road by the parking lot and attached to the museum. Make sure to walk down to the lighthouse's original location as well. I highly recommend taking an hour out of your day to explore the lighthouse and grounds.

A visit to Highland Lighthouse is an absolute must-do on any Cape Cod itinerary. The location, perched on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic, is simply breathtaking. Taking a tour of the lighthouse is a fantastic experience—the guides are knowledgeable and passionate, and the climb to the top offers incredible panoramic views of the ocean and the surrounding Cape Cod National Seashore. The history of the lighthouse and the stories of its keepers are fascinating and really bring the place to life. We also made sure to walk down to the observation deck. While the view from there is somewhat limited due to the growth of the shrubs and dunes, it still offers a lovely perspective of the dramatic coastline. It's a great spot for a photo and a quiet moment of reflection. The proximity to the Cape Cod National Seashore makes it easy to combine a lighthouse tour with a scenic walk or a relaxing afternoon on the beach. Highland Lighthouse is more than just a landmark; it’s a beautiful piece of history in a stunning natural setting.

One of the better lighthouses that I have seen. You can actually go up to the light on the top. The keepers house and the grounds are very well maintained. There is a nice little store in the keepers house also. This is the first lighthouse that I've seen with golf course around it.

Was very cool learning some of the history the light house going back to George Washington. The views were amazing and tour guides were very nice and informative. Just a warning, stairs are a little tight and steep, not bad but our daughter was very scared once we got to the top.

Frist i recommend going to the bathroom at the first parking lot you see because that also is the only place you will be able to go and the only place you can park. This lighthouse is on a golf range which is unique. We bought tickets inside to do the tour of the light house, very afforable! We waited about 15 minutes since a group had just gone up before us. The woman at the desk was very nice and started giving us some history on the light house. Our two guides about the light house were great, one on the bottom and one up top. Just be aware wo entry ways are very narrow and steep little stairs at the top, so watch your head! Once you get to the top its very warm but worth it! Gorgeous views!

Easy walk to see the lighthouse close. I wasn’t there during times of tour. The grounds were well kept and is surrounded by a golf course. The look out a few steps further is beautiful overlooking the ocean and cliffs . Parking could be tricking is golf course is busy but it is free and a very doable flat walk

Cool place to see cost 7$ senior to good up now used to be free. We had been there before so I didn't go up. If you haven't been there it's worth the trip especially if you can climb the stairs up. They do have a golf course there.

Such a great experience for our first light house tour! The staff were so knowledgeable and great with all sorts of questions. Really good and personable with my kids and made it so fun to learn the history of lighthouses and the Cape.
