My first time at this restaurant in Baguio. It was highly recommended by friends for its good food. We ordered soup, salad and mains. And yes, they were all good. We took home some frozen items from the deli and strawberry jams. The restaurant is located at the basement of a 1908 building which is also a hotel. We parked along the street in front of the establishment. But they do have a parking lot at the back of the property. It would be wise also to call and reserve before going.

It was pouring rain that day, and I went in just to take shelter. Unexpectedly, I ended up at a great restaurant. What I liked the most was the drinks — they were absolutely delicious. The dining environment was also very comfortable.

The staff was gracious and accommodating. I was seated very quickly despite the restaurant being full. Then, without asking or even expecting it, I was told they could move me to a window seat. Which they did. The house margarita I was told was made from scratch which is the only reason I ordered it. I asked for it less sweet. But it came as a thick, lemon syrup. Shame. The Thai seafood curry was excellent though there were far more clam shells than clams. Highly recommend go-to in Baguio

It’s my second time in this resto and I’d say that there fil-spanish dishes are so good, i so loved their callos and gambas, we also ordered their backribs, mixed seafood curry and calamares which was good as well. So sad that we werent able to try their paella due to longer waiting time approx 1 hour, the place is nice and homy as well, location is very much familiar as it is just a walking distance from sm baguio. A must visit also whenever you plan to go up north. ☺️

We spent about two hours dining at Hill Station to celebrate a special ocassion. We ordered the Moroccan Baby Back Ribs (around ₱700), and the Grilled Lamb Rack (₱990). Both dishes were delicious, although the lamb portion felt smaller for the price. The rest was fantastic. I ordered two piña coladas—easily some of the best I’ve tried; with strawberry syrup and a hint of cinnamon. We also tried their homemade ice creams, choosing the dark chocolate with cayenne and the salted caramel vanilla cinnamon flavors. The most intriguing item we had was the frozen mojito which kept melting, spilling, and falling off the glass. Overall, it was a fun experience!

Google
Beautiful restaurant, they have live music when I visited, Ruben & Cita. Reasonable price on appies and drinks. Not only in this restaurant but in other places too, they don’t have a measurement for wine by the glass, I ordered a glass of red, the measurement was ok, maybe 5 ounces, then I ordered the 2nd glass with less wine in the glass, I complained and the server went back to give me xtra on my wine. Maybe a little bit attention on the service side. Highly recommended.

Very nice ambiance and interiors. Need to get key from staff for toilet. Breakfast meals were huge. Staff were very friendly. Coffee could have been served hotter. Floor has strong vibration everytime someone walks..still a very good place to have breakfast

Google
I was reluctant to try it here before because of their pricing, but I gave it a shot, and it was worth it after all. The vibe is semi-formal, which is a plus because I hate paying an enormous amount for good food only to be surrounded by a rowdy crowd. The shepherd’s pie was really good, and the salad was also tasty, as I always expect from Baguio restaurants. It was a nice experience, but I’m not sure if I want to come back. The rest of the menu didn’t leave enough of an impression for me to return.

Yelp
Arrived for a late dinner, some of the menu items were not available. We were asked to order desserts with our meal since the kitchen would be closing soon. The restaurant is elegantly decorated for a warm ambiance. The menu is simple and fairly short (two pages). The wine list is well selected and varied. Service was pleasant and attentive, our food arrived promptly. Dishes were prepared properly and delicious. The dinner was excellent, the only element that I would improved would be freshly baked bread and butter (we were served cold cubes of bread, with olive oil and dry seasoning).

Yelp
Hill station is always a great choice when it comes to breakfast or if you are craving for local food in general. The Casa Vallejo location is so far the best one I have ever been to. Great ambience, street parking in front, wonderful waiters and great dishes made the experience a good one. The only downside, they have so many stairs that doesn't make it a senior or PWD friendly environment.

Yelp
This is by far the best restaurant in Baguio! The food is consistently good and the atmosphere is old Baguio elegance. The service is also top notch. A special thanks to Genevieve who warmly welcomed us back after several months of absence.

Yelp
We took a taxi to get to this restaurant There is not much space for parking and we climbed up to the top of the stairs to get to this restaurant so if you're wheelchair-bound or having difficulty climbing stairs you may have a hard time getting to this place. They seated us very quickly when we first got there, there's plenty of space for large parties. The view was beautiful until it became dark, lighting was good and the seats where comfortable. The wait staff were very attentive and available, cleaning while waiting for you to wave them down. I had to ask for ice water, they serve cool water but not chilled. The bread basket was warm and good with butter. The waitstaff spoke English and understood what we wanted. Our dinners came out very quickly since there was not too many on a Monday night. Overall it's a very nice restaurant to have a nice dine in dinner.

Yelp
The food is great. Very Fililipino with some twist. I love the ambience, so serene. Great customer service.

Yelp
What a great way to end an evening in Baguio. The atmosphere was upscale but still casual. Warm and inviting. We had live jazz the night we were there and that make for a nice romantic mood. The house made fresh sangria was so refreshing and the summer salad was light and filled with fresh fruit. The pompano was fresh and cooked to perfection. The salmon with pasta and pesto tasted like they just made it from scratch. Then the deserts....wow! Their Sans Rival cake was the best I have ever had. Love the place and will always be a must eat at place when we go to Baguio.

Yelp
Good food, great service for a quiet dinner-- very steep downhill parking though. Had the beef steak and it was really tasty

Yelp
My very first time eating here. My sister and I had a bet and fortunately I won lol. It was my choice of restaurant and since almost everyone I know in Baguio raves about Hill Station, I guess it's a no brainer. Got there and we were greeted warmly by the staff. We had a reservation so we were seated promptly. There's 14 of us in our group (including 3 young kids) Everyone was saying try this try that but orders were individual plates. I decided to order the famous lengua and tomato pumpkin soup. Others ordered seafood carbonara, Salpicao, Paella, salmon, lechon kawali. OMG!!!!! The food here is DELICIOUS! The lengua is very tender. The lechon kawali, so crispy! The Salpicao cooked medium rare with just the perfect amount of butter and garlic. The paella! Omg! Just order it and taste it yourself, it's better than any paella we had in Spain! Really!!! You can tell that ingredients used are really good quality because the taste and texture are absolutely on point. I'm very particular with Filipino food because I love to cook too! And yes, I was fortunate to taste everyone's food. Would I return here! ABSOLUTELY!

Yelp
A great restaurant choice in Baguio! I would never know this was here unless suggested by a local person. The restaurant is located on a busy street and underneath another restaurant. Very well decorated restaurant. Service was great as well as the food. My Sangria, onions soup, and seafood Alfredo pasta was good! My Sangria was a huge glass and my aunt loved it, too! My NY cheesecake was too sweet and more like a cheese pound cake instead. This was nothing close to our NY cheesecakes! Good try! I tried my aunts Lengua dish and the meat was super soft and so tasty. I will have to get this next time. My parents dishes were good as well according to them. I would definitely come back here when in Baguio City. This is the place to be for good vibes, decent prices and atmosphere. [117/100]

Yelp
I always eat here every time I am in Baguio. It's the BEST RESTAURANT up there. Through the years the quality of food didn't change.

Yelp
Situated just a few hundred meters from SM City Baguio along upper session road. Apparently, a century old house converted into a hotel - Casa Vallejo. The restaurant is very unassuming from outside, but inside is a different story, it looks and feel to have a very storied past. Had mixed green salad, crunchy fresh, topped by lightly vinaigrette dressing. Vegetable soup was light, tasty with a hint of sweetness coming from the mixed vegetables used, soft but not to the point of mushy. Main dish was slow-cooked duck, then flaked and fried to crispness served on top of a heaping of laing and steamed rice. The duck is crispy delicious and tasty. Laing is just a bit out of place, a bit mushy and lacking in spice and gata (coconut milk). All in all the experience was good, except for that Laing. Would love to come back to sample the other menu.

Yelp
For one, the food ordered were sumptuous... and the one that I got, Thai Seafood Curry, was to die for! The bathroom is noticeably maintained and clean. I love the fragrant hand wash! The people who served us were amazing and friendly. They detailed the food accurately. They greeted us with smiles and hellos right as we stepped inside. It's the people that makes the place even greater!

Yelp
We had lunch there for Mother's Day. The service was great! I really liked their Roast Beef, it was really tender, perfectly cooked and flavor-filled gravy. The buttered veggies went well with it. We also liked the classic and homey ambiance. We even received a small jar of homemade strawberry jam as a Mother's Day token.

Yelp
The first time i ate here, i declared that their shepherd's pie was well worth its 390 pesos. With it's lamb, beef, gravy mixed with mashed potatoes and smothered in mozzarella cheese there was nothing to dislike! Now, every trip to baguio is incomplete without a meal here. What's even better is that the hotel, casa valejo has included hillstation's breakfast in their room fees! Don't miss out on their yummy mountain rice, eggs and daing na bangus!

Yelp
My all time fave stop in Baguio! The food remains amazingly delicious even after all these years. My boyfriend and I recently went to Baguio for a short trip and he didn't want to eat anywhere else but here! Daily for that 3 day trip --- lunch and dinner, we ate here.

Yelp
We've been here two times and both orders are really good, i really liked their lengua estofado. Spanish cuisine and western food selection on their menu. One of the pricey resto around baguio but you get what you pay for. Choose a table on their second floor, high ceiling and all around windows that made the place seem bigger and brighter.

Yelp
An all-around great experience, whether you're there for a full dinner or just a quick dessert. I had their Ethiopian stew, which was spicy and came with pita. Serving sizes are just enough, and there are even a few vegetarian options in the pasta section of the menu. The space itself is airy and clean, with a lot of natural light. It's a good place for a special occasion, and I saw a few full families there, as well. Excellent service, excellent atmosphere, excellent everything! It's not the cheapest place in Baguio, but it's well worth the price.

Yelp
A travel back in time! That is honestly how I felt. The tingly sensation that I was back transported back to the good ole days. The Hill Station show's itself as a local destination where you can be casual and be totally fine. I came here ordering lunch one day and I sat myself in the corner overlooking some portion of Baguio. The menu items were pretty pricey to me. However, I wanted to try their food for myself and determine if the price matched up to the food. I ended up ordering "lamb something" and the portion was medium in size. I strongly felt that more should have been offered for the price I had to pay, but the food did pack a punch. Afterwards, I proceeded to the little café they have towards the front (on the same floor as the dining area). That is where my Yelp review really gave it four stars and not three (for the overpriced lunch). I had a solid bartender/barista who served me a latte and pastry. The dude was so cool and the couches were so damn comfy it is hard not to give this place four stars. In all honestly, that café and the tasty lunch saved this place a three stars. The lunch was pricey but the café was not. They honestly could have served more for the price they were charging.

Yelp
Known to be pricey, but I think the serving size and the overall restaurant ambiance contribute to the pricing. A nice place to splurge for special occasions or treats. So far everything we have ordered here was good. Occasional over cooking by the cook, but that is manpower issue. I just wish that they would improve their rice choices, because they mix a bit of organic black rice with white rice. I would rather that they have a choice between pure organic black/red rice and white rice.

Yelp
Hill Station was really disappointing. The ambience is OK, but the dining hall was too packed and tables too close to each other that we didn't find the dining enjoyable. As for the food: Appetizer - Hill Station Greens (Salad): Good. The vinaigrette was superb, and the seasonal berries were really flavorful. Cheese was bland though, and some of the leafy greens tasted bitter. Entrée - Slow US Roast Beef: Terrible. The beef was really dry and rough to the touch, even a little burnt. Not worth paying P500+ for. The mashed potato was pretty good, but we expected the whole dish to be better. Entrée- Shepherd's Pie: What a disappointment. It was not a shepherd's pie at all. It was sloppy beef swimming in watery gravy. The cheese was thick and unsavory, the mashed potato was nothing special, and it was a chore to eat. Not worth it. Soup of the Day - Salmon and Mushroom Soup: Bland. Tasted too buttery. You can't taste the fish at all, and the mushrooms were sparse. We expected more from a fine dining restaurant pegged as one of the best that Baguio has to offer, but overall the experience was nothing noteworthy.

Yelp
One of our favorite restaurants in Baguio. Well trained staff. Love their Caesar salad, French onion soup, Gambas and beef salpicao. For dessert, we always order the Canonigo. It's sooo good!!!! Their home made ice cream is delicious. Parking can be a problem though. Still, we always come back!

Yelp
I hit this place two days in a row. The first time was hosted by my sister in law . She ordered like 15 various main courses and appetizers. They were all good. The callos, lengua estofada, paella valenciana, gambas ala plancha, etc, etc. were all outstanding. But for me the standout was the black paella. Twas so good I went back the next day and ordered it again. Service was first rate. Place is well run. When in Baguio try this place and be in for a real treat.

Yelp
A must whenever you find yourself in Baguio. Food is nice and comforting, and ambience is perfect! Warm and cozy lending that old school Baguio vibe. Just make sure to make reservations or go during odd hours cause the place gets packed!

Yelp
Overrated in my opinion: why? Prices are very high and the food is just mediocre. While the location is awesome because its so close to am baguio and the view with the glas front is stunning the food is just o.k. i had some shrimps and thise were i ercooked and chewy. I was really dissapointed. Additionally i was surprised by the steep prices they charge. Therefore a place good for an espresso ( which is good by the way) but nothing more...

Yelp
One of the oldest restaurants in Baguio -that being said, It wasn't how I thought it would look like, my imagination got the better of me. Instead, it looked like a big, rustic Filipino home that used to host parties and is suited for a large number of crowd. The place looked stunning. And I know for sure that everyone was feeling the good and light vibe. I really think you guys should go an visit it if you're in Baguio, it's really truly an awesome dining experience because of the restaurant and the delicious food! You can even opt to stay there because they offer accommodations and what's nice is that it's in the middle of the city so you can easily go wherever and still come home to all that Casa Vallejo has to offer. The winners of the night, though it all really came close, was the Paella and the Lechon Kawali with Laing sa Gata. But I really must say that everything tasted sooo good! We all went back to our hotel happy and with an awesome dining experience to tell.

Yelp
Not our first time to dine here and it never fails us! Excellent food and service. Love the coffee too!!!

Yelp
I stayed for a night (6/28/16) in a family-sized room paying a standard rate (P2,500 or US$54) due to shortage of single rooms. The place was clean and decent and they provide a good free breakfast. The atmosphere resembles that of the old times when Philippines was under the American control during the 1900's. The hotel frontage says "1909." The customer service and the facility was excellent. However, my only complaint was that the wooden hallway makes some noises when somebody is walking to and from. Also, the windows are not double pane and you could hear some noises from outside traffic and the street below. The WIFI access is very good and they provide free purified water that is accessible on the hallway. It is near SM Baguio and nearby food and service outlets but you need to take a little walk. Overall, I would recommend this place to my friends and relatives.
