Situated just a few hundred meters from SM City Baguio along upper session road. Apparently, a century old house converted into a hotel - Casa Vallejo.
The restaurant is very unassuming from outside, but inside is a different story, it looks and feel to have a very storied past.
Had mixed green salad, crunchy fresh, topped by lightly vinaigrette dressing.
Vegetable soup was light, tasty with a hint of sweetness coming from the mixed vegetables used, soft but not to the point of mushy.
Main dish was slow-cooked duck, then flaked and fried to crispness served on top of a heaping of laing and steamed rice. The duck is crispy delicious and tasty. Laing is just a bit out of place, a bit mushy and lacking in spice and gata (coconut milk).
All in all the experience was good, except for that Laing. Would love to come back to sample the other menu.
