I attended a destination wedding at the resort, and it was everything a perfect wedding could be. I rented one of the cabins, #128, a two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit. The pics on the Hills Resort website are old. This cabin had a major renovation and now has a kitchen island that separates the kitchen from the living room area. The cabin was more than spacious, with a full kitchen and everything needed to make it fully functional. It even has a dishwasher. The bathroom was tiny, but adequate. The towels are thick bath sheets! And there were plenty of them, with extras located in the bedrooms. There were two leather chairs and a small coffee table, a full-length couch, and a dining table with 6 chairs. The two bedrooms were separated by a river stone fireplace that was set up and ready to be lit. The deck was about half the size of the cabin, with a table and 6 plastic chairs. The cabins are close, but with enough room around them that you don't feel like you are on top of each other. There was plenty to do, ranging from renting a kayak to hiking. The food was phenomenal! Yes, the price range is $$$$, but the cabin and the surrounding area are clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

I was recently a guest for my son's wedding. At this venue. The staff were five star. Helpful. Kind thorough. The food was excellent. Everything was seamless in terms of coordination, my personal cabin overlook the lake and we gathered on the beach for the wedding. I highly recommend

Love priest lake and hills is a staple for sure. Great Huckleberry drinks, Good food and a lot to do. Usually has live music in the summer. If you visit priest lake, visit the resort for food and fun.

Oh how times change from just a few years ago 😢 - the resort itself? Amazing, beautiful. The general staff? Kind and accommodating. The restaurant? HORRIBLE!! Spending close to $5k for a week at Hills, not inclusive of food. Having dinner with my parents (dad is 82, mom is 79) at the resort restaurant. Dad would like a burger, medium rare. Please add mushrooms. A simple enough order that you could get at any 2-star establishment in any town. But not here! Our server, Isaiah, was INCREDIBLE and kind! Isaiah came back and let us know that ALL burgers are cooked well done and the kitchen had told him that they would not temp food for individual orders. Also they would not add mushrooms to the burger because they only have pre-made mixture of mushrooms/jalapeños and won’t add individual items. WTF? Can you please have the manager come down? Absolutely. Thanks Isaiah, you’re the BEST part of this story! The manager Jake comes out (turns out his last name is Hill so we’re not gonna get anywhere) with an immediate attitude and lets us know that his staff is not able to make individual temps per order like ANY decent restaurant would do, especially when you’re charging $19 for a burger! (Insert haughty attitude laden tone here) “As I’ve explained and your server has explained, we are unable to accommodate individual requests with the volume of food we’re pushing out of the kitchen.” Suggestion then Jake Hill - FIX IT!!! Almost nobody orders a well-done burger, ever! For the prices you charge, every single order should be done correctly and with the highest of standards. This was embarrassing for you and your business. Enjoy the lake, relax in the sun and the sand, but don’t expect anything close to quality food (or management response) and still pay Michelin star prices. I guess when your family owns the place you can treat people however you want.

I know I’ve mentioned it before, but Priest Lake is my favorite place in the world. I started coming here when I was a kid and try to get to Priest whenever I visit Spokane. And in my opinion, Hills is the best resort on the lake. There are other nice places but the location, the design and ambience of Hills cannot be beat. Plus, it’s amazing here in all seasons so there is always reason to visit. Truth be told, I never stay at the resort, instead, we just drop in for lunch or dinner and I make sure to get something made with huckleberries. Idaho is a polarizing State these days but Hills represents everything that is amazing about Priest Lake and Northern Idaho recreation. Michael Delehanty Compass Real Estate

We had the best experience at Hills Resort. We went up as a group and rented multiple cabins for the weekend and all of us were so pleased. The customer service was great, the accommodations were bigger than expected and the view was unbelievable!

Google
A nice get away, but the maintenance in winter was absolutely terrible. Cars getting stuck, unavoidable knee deep puddles, not a dam road was plowed to at least convince the resort. The cabins looked as if the snow was gonna cave in, the roofs were bowing. Kinda scary, hopefully the staff can find a way to Improve. Probably won't waste money there a 2nd time sadly.

Google
Had a beautiful lunch at the resort. The Hickory Cheeseburger was great, beers and drinks wonderful and the service was perfect. Price was a little high for a small town redneck but it really was worth it. 4 people, 5 beers, 2 Margaritas, and 4 different orders was $124, and it was worth it. Great atmosphere on the deck, shade was good and all very beautiful. We will go again.

Yelp
Came here to eat a few times this summer with different friend groups- been meaning to leave a review about how amazing the food and service was. first time I went, I ate out on patio and had the shrimp tacos. mmmmm mmmm mmm they were delectable, I HAVE to get the recipe for that chutney. my server was Sedona and she was just darling, and answered all of our questions about the lake and the history of the Kalispell natives there. she is so intelligent and I thought she must have been the best of hills. I was soon proven wrong the next time I came, I was with my gal pals have a ladies weekend up at the lake. we stopped by for drinks and appetizers, and ate Inside since it was a breezy day (didn't decrease the beauty!). our server elsa (what cool name!!) recommended the brie and garlic, my ladies had wrestle me for the plate cause I wanted it all to my self. lololol. elsa probably thought we were a little rowdy but she was so funny and jump right in on the fun. felt like partying with our own little Anne Hathaway my last evening there was the most magical. it was my husband and my 20th anniversary, he also just retired from the navy, so it was a double celebration for us. I knew after my last two evenings, hills would be a treat for us. I called and made a reservation. (Todd at the front desk was so helpful) and we got there a little early so I could show him around the entire restaurant. all the staff was lovely and we got quick drinks at the bar where "the one and only" Larry served us some quirky but yummy mystery drinks. once seated, our server emma came by and made the evening so special for us. she recommended a few dishes, but we decided on sharing the sweet heat pasta with shrimp, and a ribeye (mama was hungry) the food was perfect, and tasted so good. emma presented it so well with the proper etiquette (im not a snob I just notice the little things). our evening was wonderful and only made better when we learned that there is a special treat for birthdays and anniversaries. we had the chocolate cake, and made a joke about having a candle. lo and behold when emma walked out there was an adorable little flicker of fire hovering over the top. my first bite almost made me cry. never in my life have I tasted something so decadent and sinful a hint to how the rest of my anniversary night would go ;) everything here was wonderful, and I was always so pleased with our service there. already planning my trips up for next summer!! thank you hills!!!

Yelp
I was at the resort .. . I had an interaction that left me feeling upset, sad and hurt. The front dest worker, Katie was so incredibly rude and mean to me. I keep replaying the incident and it just baffles me that someone could be so rude to a paying customer. I WILL NEVER BE BACK !! And furthermore will be telling anyone who I hear talking or going to hills to stay away!

Mike A.

Yelp
Came here with 7 others for breakfast. Four of us ordered George's cream cheese omlette, and it didn't have cream cheese and instead had feta cheese, mushrooms, and green peppers. None of those were in the description in the menu. As luck would have it, those happen to be three items I dont like. Apparently, the cook thinks that all white cheese is the same. We told our waitress about it, and she just told us she would let the cook know. Sheesh, that's it? Also, my wife had the huckleberry pancakes, and when they arrived, we were told they were out of huckleberry syrup. That was the only reason she ordered it. Plus, the pancakes came 10 minutes after all the other food. With all that said, the resort was great, the restrooms and gift shop were very nice.

Yelp
We went in, along with several other groups, and there was no host/hostess. We waited for a while (the other groups got tired of waiting and left), before we decided to ask the bartender if we seated ourselves or wait for somebody to seat us, as there was no signage to tell us. The bartender said that we could go outside and seat ourselves. We go outside and start to sit, and a waitress informed us that the table we were going to sit at was reserved, and that there was a waitlist. We told her what the bartender said, and the waitress said we could seat ourselves anywhere inside, but we couldn't sit outside. There doesn't seem to be good communication between staff. Wait times were long, and the Bahn Mi that they offer had such hard/dry bread that it was hard to eat. Will not be returning.

Laurie N.

Yelp
Service was excellent! Waited on by a very attentive young man named Matt. I was a bit disappointed by the nachos. Menu stated homemade chips and they were not. Cheese was more like a canned sauce and the guacamole was inedible. Husbands cob salad was really good though.

Liam

Yelp
I will NEVER come back to Hill's Resort!!! The food was freaking terrible. The wait time was ridiculously long for no apparent reason. I don't see why people would even go there. The rooms are super tiny with an expensive cost and the food is just as worse. 0/10 I do not recommend visiting!

Natalie G.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to stay at the lake. Can get great deals in the off season. We enjoy coming in the fall and getting warm days to be able to hike and sit outside but nice and chilly at night on the beach with the camp fire. The store has everything you'd need if you forgot something. Cabins are always clean and spacious.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Whitney made it better thank you Whitney, for caring. We love priests lake. Thanks for the gift certificate.

Caran K.

Yelp
Hill's resort restaurant was fabulous. Our food was excellent & the service was wonderful. Our waitress was so sweet. We enjoyed talking with her & her attentiveness. We were also so pleased that Hill's let us store our boat trailer at their site for free! Amazing! We have always enjoyed going to Hill's to have a special meal or to walk around. Everyone is so nice & helpful!

Chris C.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible service in the restaurant. Food took forever. Was cold when it came out. All the staff was either insanely rude or just didn't care. Pretty pathetic service honestly. For such a nice place to stay, you'd think that the people who worked here would actually care about their customers. So bad.

Yelp
Food Review Only: we came over in our boat and they had plenty of slips available for us to pull in. We had stopped by earlier in the day to grab Huckleberry Daiquiris ms swung back by for dinner on the patio later that evening. Stunning views from the patio! Our server Michael was great. He was full of strong suggestions and was knowledgeable about the menu. Overall they have a decent bar menu. We went with a Dark and Stormy, which I thought they did a good job with. We started with the Buratta and the Brie and Garlic Apps. The Buratta was great. The dish came with a drizzle of balsamic, pest, sun dried tomatoes and toasted bread. The Brie and Garlic app was all super good. The garlic head was well roasted and the Brie was great on the bread with the garlic. I got the French Onion Soup which was fine, just you basic FOS. For dinner (different menu than is you eat inside) I tried the Open Face Steak Sando and at Michael's recommendation we added some of the au Jus for the French Dip. The sandwich was good and dipping it made it better. The sandwich came with sautéed onions and blue cheeses crumbles in addition to the steak. The roll it came on was really good too. We also split the Chicken Tenders Buffalo Style, they were pretty average. I also got to try a bite of the Tempura Shrimp Tacos which were very good. Food was food and the view was great!

Yelp
Beautiful location but I wouldn't take my family there a second time. The cabin we rented was super tight to accommodate 6 people. Had to move furniture around everyday just to do things. Got little sleep...cabin was sweltering and has only 2 small operable windows, no ceiling fans and no air-conditioning. For almost $300/night plus plus, we could have stayed at a very high end hotel. Interior walls are 2X6 wood planks and lots and lots of bugs everywhere...inside. A weber grille is provide but was an absolute filthy mess and NO tools to clean it. Wouldn't even serve my dog food off the cook top...super gross. No dishwasher so you're constantly washing dishes and there is no daily room services, so what you get when you arrive is all you get. My dogs got eaten alive buy the black flies in the grass and sand and that vet visit the following day was another $150. Like I said...once was enough!

Reilly L.

Yelp
Incredibly frustrated. I am in the area watching a home for a family member. I thought it would be nice to have dinner at Hills, even though it was just me. I arrived around 7:40, and approached the host on the deck to ask about getting in the list. One of two hosts there said it would be about 45 minutes. They weren't very friendly, and seemed almost inconvenienced by a party of one wanting to get on the list. Maybe that wasn't the reason for lack of friendliness but who knows. They took my name and phone number. I waited sitting on the lawn near the patio where I was sure to have cell service so I didn't miss their text. I was texting with my husband and scrolling social media while I waited so I am 110% sure my service was fine. After an hour passed I figured I would go check the status of the list as I hadn't heard anything - but recognized they were busy since it was a nice Saturday night. The girl stated she "texted me two times and I didn't show up so we gave your table away" she said I probably didn't get messages because of "bad cell service". She shrugged and said sorry. Didn't have any alternatives to offer, and at that point it was too late to get BACK on the list. Either she didn't input my phone number correct to begin with, or decided to seat a larger party as opposed to one person. Either way, it was a terrible experience - especially as someone who is 6 months pregnant and was left with just about no other options for dinner due to it being almost 9:00. If I were you, I would make sure they have your correct phone number, and maybe not show up flying solo. Otherwise you may wait an hour to get told you're SOL.

Yelp
6 years and counting..we look forward to our week at Hill's possibly more than Christmas. Accommodations are cozy and clean. Kids activities abundant. Staff are warm and friendly and very accomodating.

Glamma 4.

Yelp
The beautiful Priest Lake will be your view as you stop and enjoy a meal or drink. We sat by a roaring fire in the lounge to warm up after a brisk walk on a cold winter day. They have a great wine list however I wish they offered rose by the glass instead the bottle. Rose is pretty typical by the glass in most places. But thats just me being picky. This is a great stop if you are local on a sunday drive or visitor to the great northern panhandle stopping through.

Christine T.

Yelp
Hills resort was a last minute getaway for us in February. I can't believe I forgot to review them on Yelp! We stayed on one of their amazing getaway packages they offer for the winter. We got a cute little apartment like suite with a fireplace (perfect for snuggling in on a super cold February night) and a $50 food credit for their awesome restaurant. We ate dinner that night and got salmon. My salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Some of the best salmon I have ever had. My husband's was slightly underdone, but they made it completely right and even gave us desert. We of course had the huckleberry pie! Why go to Idaho and skip that? The accomidations at Hills are incredible. They have a little store on site in case you need something. And, if you want to try snowshoeing, this is the spot. Breathtaking views and they rent them on site for just a few dollars. I want to make hills a yearly traditional winter getaway!

Lori P.

Yelp
Our room was recently renovated, and the view of the lake was spectacular. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and were impressed with both the food and the service. We'll definitely go back.

Jennifer F.

Yelp
I have been coming here since I was 19 years old and throughout all the remodels and changes over the years, this place really is a dime. The views, amenities, dining, and attractions make this a great resort for family vacations or couples! It's at Priest Lake. Need I say more?

Rich B.

Yelp
We called in advance to confirm kitchen closes at 9.30. When we showed up at 9 all the staff were clustered on the deck sending "please don't come here" vibes. One of the clustered staff said the kitchen closes at 9 and a second corrected them saying it closes at 9.30. I asked if it was a problem for us to dine. No response. They then sat us at the edge of the patio next to the lawn pretty far away from all the guests who were still dining (couldn't be any farther). Far enough away that I thought it was odd. At 9.30 the sprinklers turned on and drenched us.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Excellent wait staff! Wonderful fresh salad and refreshing drinks with a wonderful view of Priest Lake.

Rhonda B.

Yelp
Accomadations were seriously over priced. Bartenders were indifferent. Limited menu was just that limited. Not impressed, rest of my family had a good time.

Adam G.

Yelp
Extremely nice cabins amazing views dog friendly great boat dock highly recommended great staff

Kelli J.

Yelp
We had never stayed at Hills before. We went for Valentine's Day weekend to snowmobile. We had a cute/rustic townhome on the lake with a fireplace. It was an older place...but very clean and comfortable. We had dinner in their dining room which was very good. They were very busy for the holiday. We were able to park the sleds in their parking lot and ride trails from there. They are dog friendly. Just know...no TV's! Horrible internet and phone reception. They had some games at the main desk we borrowed and went "into town" for some entertainment...but pretty much everything in the area is closed during the winter months. We would definitely go back again!

Rick D.

Yelp
Very dated at one time is was very nice 20years ago .Could not find a electric outlet that was not wore out ,so wife could blow dry her hair .Just in need of updates bad.Very nice view of lake ,very nice beach area.Place for camp fire by the water .Eating and cooking area just out side .Would like to know how cleaning crew plugs vacuum in ,do they run it out front door to generator?.Restaurant was nice food was good .

Candis S.

Yelp
We have been patron's of Hills for years. We have taken out if town guests as it has been one of our favorites. This season, was no exception. We went with friends for dinner and it was a bit disappointing. Then, twice for lunch. The last lunch was embarrassingly disappointing. The turkey sandwich was basically "crumbled meat"!Alas, we will not return anytime soon

George T.

Yelp
Nice lakeside resort. Quiet good food. Priest lake is unspoiled beauty. Worth the drive to spend the day or weekend.

Carol L.

Yelp
Shout out to the Hills Resort for not charging us for our room due to a late night stay because we got lost had to get rescued off the mountain while snowmobiling. The Hills had our room unlocked and provided a warm room to come into. Wish we could have enjoyed our lake view room and the charming resort more.

Kellie H.

Yelp
The views were spectacular, the drinks were good and the food was tasty. I didn't stay at the resort, just came for dinner one night. If I lived closer, I would definitely see my self spending more time here!

Linda G.

Yelp
Hill's Resort is wonderful! We've been there off and on for many years. The lakefront cabins and the condos are so special. Love the real fireplaces too. A great combo of traditions and updates. We enjoyed both casual and fine dining with exceptional service and amazing food. We had the baby back ribs and the gnocchi (vegetarian for me). Yum!!! Then George's Cream Cheese eggs for breakfast. So perfect. We will be back! Thanks

Suke K.

Yelp
SOS! BEWARE... UNSANITARY & handling of food is plain out frightening! Servers are masked, however, same server that brings your food, utensils & napkins, is bussing other customers tables then serving food, potential cross contamination & not up to health standard codes! SAME servers also had a friend with dog & yes they pet dog & handled food immediately after...on top of all the other offenses in health concerns. Unsanitary conditions! I am concerned about cleanliness & health standards being followed through & adhere to. I've been going to Hills Resort for years. This is disappointing to have such a bad experience. If you want to stay healthy don't eat there. This is my opinion & my personal experience.

Angela J.

Yelp
What a gem in Priest Lake!! I haven't been here in over a decade and it is still one of the best resort locations ever! Delicious breakfast and food all day long and what a fun bar! Gift shop and such a fun time to be had at the beach plus if you need gas for your watercraft this is the place. I think I forgot to mention the beautiful beach!

Erin B.

Yelp
We were so thrilled to have our wedding at Hill's Resort. My family has been coming to Hill's for years, and a wedding up at Priest Lake was something we were very excited about. It could not have been a more beautiful location. We hosted our rehearsal dinner as an outdoor picnic the night before, and Hill's was great about making sure we had tables and firepits to use. The outdoor ceremony site was amazing and the staff at Hill's did a great job keeping it neat, even with all the walking across it we did throughout the day for photos. Whitney, the event coordinator at Hill's, was an absolute joy to work with and we absolutely could not have put the wedding together without her. She was great about answering our questions (of which we had many) during our planning and preparation time. She also was an amazing help for decorating the interior of the lodge. We made our centerpieces and table decorations, and after supplying Whitney and the Hill's staff with all the individual pieces and diagrams/descriptions of what we were thinking, they did an incredible job of bringing our vision to life--it looked amazing, and we were so appreciative that we didn't have to worry about setting up our reception decorations that day. Whitney also made sure we had food (which was delicious!) in our room that night, which was great since it can be difficult to find time to eat that day! Hill's staff also did a great job during dinner and dancing afterward. Overall, we cannot sing Hill's Resort's and Whitney's praises highly enough--they made our day absolutely fantastic.

JP P.

Yelp
My grandparents used to stay here in the summer and once in awhile in the winters... So I would go stay in their cabin. The place used to be the hot spot on the lake but it is dying down and the bar and restaurant are blah. I know the owners and the parents have passed away they were the heart and soul of this place. Now that the kids have it they have ran it in to the ground... They need a chef to bring the place back up to par and a better staff that is well trained would not hurt.

Omar C.

Yelp
Have to do a review on this place, been coming here for 11 years every single year; aside the memories the place is accommodating, superb, gorgeous and incredibly friendly. Special thanks to Whitney who tends to the entire Mac family every year. Food is great, staff is friendly year after year.

Ryson C.

Yelp
Hills Resort is the best resort on Priest Lake. There beach is awesome and has good sand! There food is good, and waiters are awesome! There prices are better than any other on the lake! We go here every weekend and love the vibe of this place! I strongly recommend this place!

Francine J.

Yelp
The setting is beautiful. The service is friendly & great. The food has gone extremely downhill. Shrimp tacos use to be so good, but now very greasy - everything. Hollandaise sauce watered down or something like they were running out. They do stay & play (golf) packages. The course, like the resort, is gorgeous. But, the hospitality at the course not so good. Seem to have an 'I don't care' attitude. But, the food at the course is good! Next year, we will try different places. But, always get the huckleberry pie at Hill's - it is the best!

Shelley C.

Yelp
I love going to this place, weather we ride our four wheelers or take the boat. They have pretty good food and service. Last weekend was not the best. I ordered the cheese burger, and salad and my Husband order soup and salad. My buger came out, but my husband's soup and salad came out about 10 minutes later. I am not sure the kitchen is working together well yet. We're were a little disappointed this trip. We will try again soon I am sure.

Craig B.

Yelp
If you are 19 and just dying to try out that fake Washington ID this summer, this is the place to go. Yes, Yes, Yes, I am aware that this has been the "place to be" at Priest since prohibition ended. Obviously, the Hill family thinks so as well, you can tell by how overpriced everything is. Don't get me wrong, I am more than willing to pay good money for good food and drink, but as Mike T said, the restaurant has really taken a nose dive (but the prices haven't). I am giving 2 stars for one reason only; if you are 16 - 21 years old, this is the place to see and be seen, strut your hard body on the beach and have your first beer, maybe you will find someone to hold your hair back later. But if you are older or bringing your family, be forewarned, actual bar conversation I witnessed a few weeks ago: Drunk 20ish guy next to me to blond across bar: "blondie" Blond (with group of friends): (ignore) Drunk Guy: "BLONDIE" Blond: (ignore) Drunk Guy: "BLONDIIIIIEEE!!!!!!!" Blond: (gets up and leaves) Drunk Guy: BITCH!! Ah yes, the art of the pickup line is not lost. Hill's doesn't even come close to the best resort on the lake. That honor has to go to Elkin's, so do yourself a favor, drive the extra 20 minutes (or 10 minute boat ride) and check it out. The prices are similar, but the cabins are cleaner, the food is excellent and the staff is wonderful.

Matt F.

Yelp
Came here while vacationing in northern Idaho and really liked it. There is a main lodge with rooms and a restaurant and about twenty cabins lined up near the lake. We stayed in one of the cabins, which came with a full kitchen and outdoor grill. There is a pretty good food shop at the lodge if you want to cook yourself, but the restaurant was just great. Get the steak and eggs breakfast . The steak was unusually tender and delicious. The staff was very helpful and pleasant for the most part. The one exception may just have been having a bad day, or she might not have liked my Obama hoodie. :) Anyway, they accomodated our on the fly plans and schedule. We chose Hills because it is dog friendly and that is mostly true. No dogs allowed by the lake except after 10pm. Other than that, I'd give them five stars. I spoke to some staff here and it sounds like 2009 was a pretty hard year due to the recession. By 2010 Hills seems to have its act together again. Highly recommended.

Stan B.

Yelp
Turkey sandwich was the worst thing I have ever Eaten! Very little turkey, the avocado was brown and it was mostly lettuce and mayo! Sad excuse for a sandwich! After all these years you expect more from Hills!

L W.

Yelp
Great food, although I've never stayed here so this review is solely on the restaurant. I love the deserts. We normally take our boat over from across the lake, dock it, enjoy a great meal and catch up with friends, fuel up, and take off. Sometimes the help in the dining area isn't fantastic, but they get the job done.

Sarah A.

Yelp
My in-laws have a house on Priest Lake, and on our last trip we took the boat over to Hills Resort for dinner. This place is so amazing! Nestled in the majestic wilderness of North Idaho, it's exactly like Kellerman's Resort in Dirty Dancing. The resort and restaurant have been recognized nationally for their excellence, and we definitely found out why. Many of the family recipes have been featured in national cookbooks, and some of the specialties include Baby Back Ribs of Pork, Oysters Escondida, Margarita Shrimp, and Huckleberry Pie. We ate in the dining room overlooking the beautiful scenery of Priest Lake. For an appetizer we chose King Crab cakes topped with avocado, Tobikko caviar, Syracha and wasabi vinaigrette. My husband's parents had us try these and they were seriously the best crab cakes I have ever eaten! My husband ordered the Hickory Burger with smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and homemade barbeque sauce with fries, and I got pan-seared veal medallions sauteed in a lemon Thyme pan sauce, served with potato gnocchi. This was my first time ever having veal and I absolutely loved it. We'll definitely be returning to Hills Resort the next time we're at Priest Lake...

Flasha M.

Yelp
Service was excellent, shrimp crab open face sandwich was excellent, Walnut latte and Huckleberry/ice cream pie was exquisite! View was amazing always a pleasure to visit here, headed back after a terrific time, chef was so handsome I might add, thank you again! Till next year!!

Tiara P.

Yelp
My family has been coming to the lake for years and every year we eat at hills. The menu changes from time to time, but the food has always been quality! The view from their newer deck is one of the best to eat a sunset dinner. We had a table of 7 and were seated pretty quickly and with stellar service. Their fries are amazing and I recommend to get some of the sauces. Hamburgers are great too. Their onion soup is the best in the west. Their salads are also on point. Overall a great dining experience! Very family friendly on the deck and more fancy dining inside. We'll be back next year.

Yelp
My grampa, gramma, parents, brother and I speeded down to Hills Resort to get lunch. It's in the lower region, which is a little more touristy than upper Priest Lake (where are cabin is), but it's just as beautiful. The scenery at Hills is great. The docks are large and fun to play on, they have all sorts of beach activities, and so on and so forth. I don't remember what I ate, but it was very good. Also, the customer service was awesome. The waitresses were so nice that I sparked up a conversation with one. Turns out they have a cabin really close to ours! Overall, Hills is a beautiful place with great food and great waitresses

Yelp
Friends got married here. We drove up from Spokane on NYE & stayed in cabins. We had a really good time. The friends got married in their cabin and we got to hang out and chill, and then we went over and ate in one of their party rooms for the reception. We stayed another night and we all hung out in the bar & tromped around in the snow. It was a good time; who doesn't love Priest Lake?

Yelp
Thumbs up. Cute place, romantic. Family oriented. Board games on loan from front desk. Neat, clean, nice beach and docks. We had a great breakfast. I will go back and would recomend to a friend. Stayed last weekend for 1 night with some out of town guests. We stayed in the so-called "condo". I dont know why they call it the condo, the name made me nervous when I was making the reservations. It was a 3 beedroom unit. Faced the water with nice balcony to sit out on. Room interior is a little small, nothing special but it's just a place to hang the hat. As long as it's clean I am good to go.

Yelp
Hills is a classic 1950 era lake resort and Its like visiting the set of dirty dancing without getting harassed by Patric Swayze. The Hills family has the best resort on the lake with the most amenities, best staff and nicest cabins. The bar is always alot of fun. Unfortunately, the restaurant has taken a nose dive since Jordan Bressler left. The food is awful this year. Do not order the pesto with pancetta wrapped shrimp or the Chevre/avocado filled raviolis. They are booth super bland and way too heavy. Instead, stay at Hills, cook for yourself in your cabin and got to Elkins for a nice meal. Also, Hills has a great gas dock.
