Very fresh, lots of choices many toppings available without an extra charge. #28 chicken pesto had loads of chicken and was very tasty. #25 hot pastrami, salami, pepperoni, and provolone was also loaded with flavor – highly recommended! We all had the white hoagie rolls for the bread choice, which was very soft, fresh. There are other choices for bread, wraps, and other options.

One of the best French dips I have ever had. Huge sauce guy here and the au jus was delicious. Service was courteous and quick. Overall a solid lunch spot and more sandwiches I am excited to come back and try.

These subs are out of this world. The service was fantastic. We sat out front and ate. A must have if you want a sub. They also had some sides. The potato salad was good

Visited twice during our visit to Sedona because we really enjoyed the first time. They have a lot of cold & hot sandwich varieties with several topping options and add ons. We tried the vegetarian, pesto chicken jack and turkey bacon Jack. My favorite was the vegetarian; it was very fresh and flavorful and light. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back on our next Sedona visit.

The AZ Philly is a great option. The chipotle mayo is a nice touch. My order was out in 5 minutes and I was greeted as soon as I came in. The interior is very clean, plenty of seating, and good climate control. This is my second time here and I’m looking forward to my third.

If you're wondering what to get....get the Philly cheese sandwich! Soooooooo bomb! The turkey sandwich was good but I have to say my mother in law didn't like the meatball sandwich too much. Said it tasted ok, but the bread became soggy, and the meatballs just fall right out. And the Sioux City rootbeer tasted a little off and was warm. There was plenty of seating, alcohol and good service. It's worth the stop for a fresh sandwich. The cook even comes out and walks you order out to you. Enjoy

I usually come here and love it, however, had a bad experience and customer service was terrible. Ordered over the phone and the woman seemed new so after, I asked her to read it back to me. I ordered a turkey sandwich with all the fix-ins and the sandwich came just turkey and olives, which was nasty. I called in and picked up because we were on our way to the airport. When I called back about the wrong sandwich, just asking for them to refund the sandwich because it was wrong, they denied until I turned around and went back into the store and gave them the sandwich. Usually we live 5 minutes away but I couldn’t just turn around and go back. I’ve never had anyone ask to return a sandwich before either.

Google
Food=delicious & staff= hard-working, genuinely kind people!!! Stopped in here at 3:30 on a Sunday, they closed at 4:00 and initially said we could only order to go but after talking to us for a few moments they said that we could stay inside while they cleaned the store around us. All of the staff that was working were more than kind and super accommodating. The quality of the food that you get for the price that you pay is super reasonable. I will never go to Subway again after eating here!!! 💯💯💯 I have been here a few times and will continue to go frequently.

Yelp
Great spot for sandwiches after a long day of hiking in Sedona! Came here after hiking Devil's Bridge and was starving but didn't want to wait to have a sit down meal. Saw this deli several times since it was close to our hotel, looked up the menu, and called in for a 12" all meat sandwich with everything and a #7 with everything. Everything was so delicious and filling and had enough left to eat later. The deli felt nice and homey and very family owned feeling. You. Can tell they cater to hikers as they had stuff like ice packs and bags to go. Great place local in Sedona to prep for your hikes!

Yelp
We were lucky to have this Deli within walking distance of our hotel. During our visit it was crowded. I recommend placing a togo order via phone to avoid the wait time. My husband loves sandwiches! He was amazed by the quality and quantity of his sandwich. Prices a very responsible for the area. And they offer up cocktails!! Why,not?! You're on vacation! Cheers!

Yelp
So vibrant and cute! Loved my sandwich and they were really friendly. Only one bathroom so heads up. No pets allowed inside but are allowed on patio.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches that the family can't stop raving about. Love the ability to fully customize the sandwich with toppings and sauce. There are so many sandwich options (over 30!) with choices for both hot and cold. Really enjoyed the hot sandwiches on toasted garlic roll. The tator tots were great too. One of the most affordable but tastiest options you can find in Sedona!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious sammie. Bread was perfection and veggies crisp and fresh! Highly recommend!

Betsy P.

Yelp
This was the perfect spot to stop for lunch after a long morning hike! Friendly staff and delicious made to order sandwiches with plenty of meat and all the healthy fixings.

Matthew M.

Yelp
Great Deli Sandwich Shop! Wanted a light meal for lunch after hiking! Plenty of great sandwich options hot and cold.

Yelp
We've been eating here for years and they have always exceeded our expectations but this time they slipped just a bit. Sandwiches were pretty good but the bread seemed a bit dry. Meat always seems very good with good flavor.

Isabella P.

Yelp
Perfect stop for a late lunch after a morning of hiking! We were very happy with our sandwiches and the quantity of fillings. Lots of options!

Rob B.

Yelp
The food was very good and the cashier was very nice. I highly recommend coming here.

Yelp
I was headed to Red Rock Crossing and Crescent Moon Ranch, so this was very close to there and I grabbed a sandwich to have a picnic while there. It's a cute little spot with excellent sandwiches and great service!

Yelp
After a morning of hiking and the hunger pains hit, a nice tasty sandwich is a must. This place delivers on creative combinations that are made to order. In addition, the portion sizes are good. There was a line when we arrived but it moved pretty fast. There are also indoor and outdoor seating options as well as parking in the front (limited) and back (more options).

Yelp
I got to visit this shop for the first time, and it was a positive experience. I got the #15 sandwich, which was turkey, Swiss, avocado and sprouts. They have a ton of sandwich options, hot and cold, as well as free add ons. They have beer on tap as well, which I was surprised by. My sandwich was filling, fresh and delicious, perfect for a hot day. The pictures and paintings on the wall are colorful and bright, and they have neat neon lights as well. It was cool and funky on the inside. The only thing was the girl taking the order seemed less than happy to be there or answer questions. Otherwise, I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Courtney B.

Yelp
This place is delicious. Sorry I don't have a picture because I inhaled the sandwich! So many options (I got the hot pastrami and provolone) but the toppings really make it. The garlic roll is what dreams are made of!
google avatar

Eileen P.

Yelp
Our sandwiches were fabulous and the menu board made it easy to order. Minus one star because there were errors on my sandwich. Now it was still good and I ate it without saying anything, but I should have gotten it how I ordered it. (They added mustard, it was the wrong bread and they didn't put my lettuce on it) again it was still super tasty! I would return for sure.

Yelp
Fantastic food and amazing service! Love how relaxing the vibe is too. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Hidden gem located outside of the touristy area of Sedona, and a great place if you're looking for something light and healthy! The grilled chicken salad I got was gigantic ($13) and was basically all their sandwich toppings on a bed of romaine and mixed greens. You can customize it with double of any of their toppings, minus this, add this, dressing on the side, etc.. They even have grilled mushrooms as a "premium topping," which is unique for a sandiwhc shop. The other item we ordered was a 6" turkey sandwich on toasted sourdough ($9.50). This was more than filling and hit all the right spots without breaking the piggy bank. Overall, awesome local shop and would definitely recommend!

Yelp
This is a perfect spot after a hike. Sandwiches are made with quality ingredients, and it doesn't hurt your wallet! LOL

Yelp
Always one of the first stops we make when nearby. It's always consistent, service great and sandwiches amazing! The garlic bread is my favorite on any sandwich. Today I ordered the number 8 with pickles, mustard, lettuce and tomatoes and it was so good! After a morning full of hiking it hit the spot. The location is Farley small, but we've never had an issue finding somewhere to eat. If parking is full out front there's a larger area in back. Vibe is pretty relaxed and bright inside.

Yelp
Food was outstanding! Would highly recommend to anyone to stop in and grab a sandwich. Perfect place for a post hike meal.
google avatar

Teri H.

Yelp
The turkey and Swiss on roll was so tasty. Roll was lightly toasted and the fillings were the just perfect! The server noticed we were sharing a big sandwich so came out with it on two platters. It's a light and open space with lots of windows. I can't wait to taste the Gelato.

Yelp
Terrific, substantial sandwiches... perfect to rejuvenate you after hiking in the Red Rocks country. Wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches. Tasty French fries!
google avatar

Yelp
Yes, it is a sandwich shop - but it is so good! Maybe it was the incredibly friendly staff or the super fresh ingredients, but this place hit the mark and then some. They have tons of sandwich options that you can then customize with spreads, breads, and toppings, fairly priced and easily packaged to-go or for eat-in. Sandwiches are packed to the brim so there is no skimping on ingredients here. Recommend stopping by and taking your lunch to-go on a hike or to one of the many amazing picnic areas/views around town.

Yelp
Nice little sandwich shop. Really enjoyed the bread. A little expensive but everywhere in Sedona is. Kinda odd, quirky vibes going on inside. They sell alcohol too, looks like it possibility turns into a bar on the evening - not sure if they are open late. Only one restroom which is a little dingy. My French dip was really good - just need more meat for the price. My husband turkey sandwich was a little dry, more sauce needed but thankfully they have a sauce station - with mustards , hot sauces etc...

Yelp
This spot is the bomb dot com! We loved it for a late lunch after a morning fast. I got the number 17 with sprouts and my wife had the chicken pesto. Both sandwiches were delicious. Parking is ample in the private lot and free. We dined in and had a great experience. The cinnamon roll was also delicious. I just wanted it to be warmed but we didn't ask about this. I highly recommend them. Bravo!

Yelp
We stopped by here for lunch after a day in the Valley looking at ruins on the Pink Jeep tour. Those rough roads and dust not only get you thirsty but hungry too. Hilltop was just the ticket. We had a hot pastrami sub (24) and a pastrami/salami/pepperoni sub (25) with egg potato salad and prickly pear lemonades. It absolutely hit the spot. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return and recommend others do too.

Yelp
I recommend #17. Get all the toppings and it's a picnic in your mouth. Bread is perfect. Avocado was ripe. I like all the fixings and they didn't skimp. Fun location. They have beer flights or regular beers. Micros on tap. Easy parking.

Yelp
Came to Hilltop Deli after a couple hikes (plus we wanted to pick up sandwiches for tomorrow) so Hilltop was the perfect destination. They offer about 30 combinations of meats and cheeses on your choice of bread (or wraps) with an impressive combination of fixins. My brother and I shared a chicken, bacon, jack with double everything and it was SO GOOD. I loved the tang from the vinegar and pickles and the satisfying crunch from the cucumbers and onions. There was also just the slightest bit of heat from the chopped jalapeños. When it came to the protes, the bacon was an excellent option since it also gave the sandwich a nice smokey flavor along with another satisfying crunch. My parents shared a medium pastrami and swiss with slightly less fixins but still agreed that it was a tasty meal. We also shared the onion rings which were freshly fried and delivered with ketchup and ranch on the side - nice! I look forward to the sandwiches we got for tomorrow. I have high hopes - today's weren't too saucy so I don't think we'll have a sog fest tomorrow either.

Yelp
Service, and ambiance is great. Well worth its price. Only problem is that there isn't enough indoor seating for people who want to get out of the elements. Food is amazing and hot upon arrival.
google avatar

Amy G.

Yelp
This place is excellent! Very fresh ingredients, loaded subs and the woman at the front was super friendly!
google avatar

Sherry J.

Yelp
Three star b a the restaurant wasn't the cleanest. The toilet in the bathroom wouldn't flush and the water was piping hot to the point you couldn't put your hands under it and the back kitchen area had food all over the floor BUT the sandwich was delicious. We didn't have time to go somewhere else but I'm glad we tried it still. It was a good sandwich and the pickles should be sold separately!
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding deli sandwiches with crunchy tater tots and fries. This place easily surpasses the chain restaurants.

Yelp
Hilltop Deli is located on Sedona's main street and seems to be very busy sandwich shop. Expect crowds and a long wait time!!! Order someplace else!!!! My friend and I both agreed that this restaurant offered below average sandwiches. I ordered the tuna melt in a wrap and it lacked seasonings and overall flavor. I don't recommend this item and don't plan on having tuna for a while. My friend ordered the turkey swiss wrap and was also very dissatisfied. We both had our wraps cut in half and didn't even bother to eat the second half it went straight to the trash. Cooks in the back looked very focused and were working very fast to get orders out to the large crowd at around 2pm. Overall wouldn't recommend and don't plan on stepping foot back in this establishment.

Yelp
The sandwiches were great and the friendly staff was very friendly. A great lunch sandwich place!

Yelp
Great sandwiches and kind staff! I got the turkey sandwich with sprouts and carrots and loved it.

Bonnie C.

Yelp
Best sandwiches in Sedona. A must place to stop for lunch. Easy to get to and park. I had the Rueben and wife had the tuna. We. Could only eat half they are so large.
google avatar

Priscilla C.

Yelp
The best pastrami sandwich I ever had, cold. The macaroni salad, a little bland, but I need carbs, so. Person at counter was friendly enough, person delivering food made effort to connect. Next day belly not so good.
google avatar

Carla R.

Yelp
Great place to come after a hike! great service , cashier was very helpful! Great food!
google avatar

Yelp
Had the #7 sandwich on garlic bread. Was very simply made, but was very delicious. Made with good ingredients. Got there a little before 12 on a Thursday afternoon. Good timing because there was a line of about 10 people after we finished ordering.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing tuna sandwich! And close to manzanita campground! Quick service, clean restaurant and friendly vibes!

Yelp
Cute deli. Food was great, atmosphere was great. I really liked this place. The is art for sale on the walls as well.

Yelp
This has always been a must visit for us when we're in Sedona. This last visit was in the 3ish star category, but overall I'd say it'd be closer to 3.5 stars given past visits. Their sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and they have a wonderful variety to choose from with some interesting sides like fries to pair with your sandwich. This recent visit was odd in the sense that the experience has really changed. The meat and fries were unseasoned and the fries looked like they'd been sitting a good while, more greasy and stick together than I remember. It took about 15 mins in line to order (not their fault that they're busy!) & the cashier was kind, but the runner seemed openly annoyed to be there. When one of our sandwiches was wrong, he looked at us and basically asked what we wanted to do/if we were just cool taking the wrong sandwich. They remade it, but the vibe was pretty negative. I really hope this was just a bad day because this was a stop we always looked forward to in Sedona!
google avatar

Yelp
Turkey / Swiss sandwich on marble rye bread was fresh and delicious. All of the perfect toppings, lettuce, sliced onion etc. The best sammie I've had in a while. French Dip sandwich was good but would Have preferred the meat sliced thinner and a softer roll. Good but not close to the Turkey sammie. Pasta salad was dry and not really good.
google avatar

Juan V.

Yelp
Excellent sandwiches! We went for a early morning hike and we were hungry. We stopped her for a quick bite and everything was delicious! I ordered the hot chicken, bacon and cheese sandwich. I added mayo and Dijon mustard with lettuce, pickles, onions and tomato. It's was Grrrreat! So good! If your looking for a good place to get a quality great tasting sandwich this is your place!
google avatar

Yelp
Great little road side deli. The portions are plentiful. The sandwiches are a big size and the sides of fries and tater tots are massive, could definitely share the sides! Quick and friendly service! Would definitely go back.
