My dog and I had a great stay at Hillview Farmstay. We were lucky enough to stay at the Dome, which overlooked beautiful farmlands. The room was cozy and warm with electric blanket and reverse cycle heater. The bathrooms were tidy, the owners even left bacon and eggs in the fridge for breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed the sunset upon arrival and the air was nice and fresh. We took a stroll in the morning around the property and my dog had a great time sniffing everything! Thank you for your hospitality, everything was super easy and done well. Will recommend and stay again!

Great location positioned just off the Hume Highway. A no fuss check in/check out process that was very straightforward and efficient. The Dome we stayed in was very clean and tidy on arrival. In fact, it was a bit better than we were expecting as the outside cooking area is sheltered, and all the amenities were very closely located. Our kids loved it as the resort was very family friendly and the animal feeding session in the morning was well worth the stay! Only issue we experienced was trying to call/message the nominated number on the website which didn’t pick up or return our calls even when a message and email was left. We wanted to clarify some questions about pets but we ended up just rocking up and hoped for the best.

We travel a lot and this stands out as one of the best experiences from a customer service perspective. Donna (and her husband) were unbelievably helpful, friendly and accommodating. They were patient with our kids (9,13,17) and allowed them to help feed the farm animals and have cuddles with the 2 week old goat - so cute!! I mentioned my eldest wasn’t well and doesn’t travel well and Donna brought over some ginger tablets for our onward journey. I mean who does that?!? She was amazing. Truly lovely. We stayed in the Lion Safari tent and it was surprisingly rustic and lovely. We were super impressed as was expecting less comfort and trimmings - but it had everything from a microwave, bbq and large fridge to heated blankets on the beds, hot water bottles and super snug blankets - which kept us toastie in the 2C temps! My only wish is that we lived closer so could come back and visit again instead of being a flight and 6 hours away! Highly highly recommend for a beautiful short stay with fresh air, countryside, animals and the best hosts ever.

This was such a great stop over on our drive to Victoria from Sydney. This farm stay is so well equipped and my 6yr old and 4yr old have a great tome. Donna, the farm manager, was so accommodating and made the stay much more enjoyable. The animal feeding was a hit, and the kids even managed a horse ride! The stocked kitchen with breakfast and BBQ essentials made the whole stay so smooth. Would definitely recommend and we are already looking forward to the next trip.

We had the most wonderful night glamping with the kids at Hillview Farmstay! The fun of glamping, but with cosy surrounds, was the perfect combination for our young family. The tour of the property in the buggy the next morning was "life changing" according to our youngest - along with the ride on the gorgeous house this made for a pretty memorable morning! Thank you so much to Glenn and Donna for giving us such a fun experience. We'll be back!

The farm is really nice and we had a fantastic experience. Dome tent, camp fire, buggy ride, animal feeding and tennis. Our kids loved all! Donna and Glenn are very kind and friendly. We are definitely coming back! 🙂

Five stars for the luxury, the animals, family-friendly atmosphere and the lovely people. We stayed in the Safari Tent (Cub) with our two kids for a glamping experience, and it was such a treat, our kids didn’t want to leave. The place felt very safe. When we arrived, the heater had already been turned on so the tent was warm and welcoming — thank you to the managers for that thoughtful touch. The tent was spotless and perfect. It honestly looked even better in real life than in the photos. It’s got that perfect mix of modern comforts inside and safari-style charm outside. The beds were very comfy, and the kids’ little oasis area was perfect. They provide a generous breakfast spread — cereal, milk, eggs, bacon, bread, jam, butter — and the BBQ was easy to use we cooked eggs, bbq and even toasted breads in it. You can see some trucks from the M5 in the distance, but it’s surprisingly not loud or disruptive at all. The sounds of birds chirping in the morning woke us up everyday which was so nice. The animal feeding experience was an absolute highlight. The animals were sweet, friendly, and clearly well cared for. Donna, the manager, was amazing with the kids — so warm and clearly passionate about what she does. Our kids loved every animal especially Jellybean, Sutti and Henrietta. Ruth, the owner, was great to communicate with. We needed to change our dates and she sorted it out right away. We also asked for extra blankets prior to arrival as I expressed that I was worried it would be freezing (stayed during winter with slight chance of rain) and they provided everything without fuss. They even had two heaters and plenty of warmers available, but honestly, the AC heater was more than enough :) Would absolutely recommend — it was everything we hoped for and more. We hope to make this an annual trip and come back with family friends :)

My partner and I stayed here for 1 night while driving between Melbourne and Sydney. We spoke with Donna — she was lovely and made sure the heater was on for our late night arrival. The place was clean and warm, and while we arrived in the dark and left in the dark, we did get a glance of the grounds which looked well kept and inviting. Breakfast goods were provided although we did not get time to eat them, but they looked fresh and local. We will definitely be rebooking here in the future for a longer weekend.
