I loved the hotel's location and friendly service. The hotel staff were very helpful, especially Selam and Almeyhu at the main restaurant, they were warm, kind and professional and were able to attend to us with grace despite being a large group. The views from the room balcony were great. However, the rooms especially the shower require some repair and modernisation. Otherwise, I'd be glad to be back.

I must say, it has great potential! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly. However, I believe there are a few areas that could be improved to enhance the overall experience. Firstly, the gym equipment could use an upgrade to better serve the needs of the members. Additionally, incorporating a boxing punch bag would be a fantastic addition, allowing for more diverse workout options. Overall, I see a lot of promise here, and with some improvements, it could become one of the best fitness centers around!

If you're on business or staying for pleasure, the Hilton Addis Ababa is well worth consideration. Having spent a long time with them for business, they have always been happy to support. The hotel staff are very attentive and always happy to help. Well located with plenty of options for dining and activities with its large grounds and pool, gym and spa.

Our room had a nice view of the city, looking over towards the pool. The rooms are a bit old and could use some updates, especially the bathrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and has lots of options. The room service is good. There are some shops where you can buy souvenirs and jewelry. The gym's got some good equipment. The garden is gorgeous and green, and it's got a thermal pool (that can get quiet busy in the afternoons), tennis court, and mini golf course.

Had a great time at the Addis Hilton. The friendliness of the staff is fantastic, they make me feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. In particular Tigist and Emebet in the pastry shop, and Roman and Beti in the restaurant. Kallidan is a wonderful host as well. Thank you and I will be back again soon

An old, relaxing hotel that’s still my go-to whenever I return to Addis. The newly renovated rooms are spacious and well-equipped, the staff are wonderful across the board, and the garden remains a calming oasis—perfect for coffee or a beer. The one area that still needs work is the food quality, but each room includes a small fridge, so it’s easy to keep takeaway or groceries on hand.

The atmosphere and vibe of the place were great, but unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing. We had to ask the hostess for assistance because no waiter approached our table for quite some time. When we finally did get service, the waitress had an unpleasant attitude, and it took 45 minutes just to receive our drinks. We brought our concerns to the manager on our way out. It was also hard to ignore the noticeably better treatment other (white) customers were receiving, which left us feeling very uncomfortable.

The staff at the Hilton earn all the stars: friendly, helpful, gracious in every way. But the hotel itself is plagued with terrible problems regarding ventilation: we breathed diesel and paint fumes all over the building, from the conference rooms, to the restaurant terrace to the hotel rooms. It was particularly bad in my room, so much so that I had a headache every day and had to keep the balcony door open all the time.
