I stayed three nights at Hilton Barra da Tijuca as a Diamond member. Check-in was friendly, but I received no upgrade and was placed in room 531 next to a very noisy family. Despite reporting it, the issue wasn’t resolved. The Executive Lounge offered limited hours, no still water, and a broken coffee machine. Breakfast service was inconsistent — I had to request my room to be added to the list daily, and one staff member, Victor, was unwelcoming when I arrived at 10:40am (still within hours). Minibar charges were incorrect, and amenities for Diamond members were minimal. I traveled alone after my mother’s flight was cancelled, hoping for a comfortable stay, but the experience fell short of Hilton’s usual standards.
