It is a basic Hilton, with no major luxuries, but relatively new and comfortable. The rooms are a good size, with a nice bed and pillows, and overall it offers a decent level of comfort. However, there are some serious issues.||Most of the rooms are connecting rooms, and the connecting doors are not soundproof at all. In my case, I could clearly hear my neighbor talking on the phone, chatting with his wife, and I was woken up twice during the night due to noise from the next room. The door simply doesn’t block any sound. Very unpleasant. I asked to change rooms, but was told there were no available rooms that weren’t connected to another.||Another downside: the minibar is completely empty. If you want water, a soda or a snack, you have to go all the way down to the lobby and buy it from a small shop.||The breakfast is poor, with very few options. During the four days I stayed, there wasn’t even any strawberry or guava jam—only passion fruit. The staff seemed indifferent to the guests. We had to call them over to ask for coffee, as they weren’t really paying attention to us. In general, the staff at the hotel is very indifferent to the guests. The staff dont seem to be happy.||Finally, the hotel is quite far from everything. It’s about 45 to 50 minutes by car from Rio’s South Zone, so not ideal if you plan to explore that area.
