"A UNESCO World Heritage Site with a Baroque facade, this former Dominican church in the Royal Castle District looks onto the Danube and is close to medieval attractions such as Matthias Church. With "views to die for," the "clean and comfortable rooms" are decorated in white and cream tones. "Music wafts through the night air from the evening entertainment at the castle and surrounding plaza—delightful!" Icon uses local ingredients in dishes such as duck breast with lavender-scented panna cotta, though there are "great restaurants within strolling distance." "Staff treated us like royalty."

We spent 3 nights in this wonderful hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location and views were spectacular. The air conditioning is quiet and efficient. The sky bar is excellent but you do need to book. Breakfast amazing and the food and beverage manager was lovely and really cared about our feedback. The executive lounge was excellent with a good choice of food and drinks. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing amazing hotel. 5 star hotel with 5 star service. The staff from the|Front Desk, the Concierges, Housekeeping were all so professional and helpful.||English is well spoken here. You can have a conversation with them that’s “off script”. Like having a casual conversation about there fancy nails. ||I had an amazing view of the river and Parliament and the Fisherman’s bastion. ||The executive lounge was amazing with a great breakfast and it was pretty quiet. ||Highly recommend

Full tour of hotel and V-Log Review. The place to stay. ||The hotel is fantastic. Located in the old castle district, there are so many things to see including the stores and restaurants, all walking distance. ||Check in was very easy and our room was ready. Beautiful room and it was spotless. Typical comfortable Hilton bed, large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Fully stocked mini bar. ||We had the Executive Club Room which hosted a 2 hour evening cocktails and food...very excellent with great staff. The rooftop bar was amazing with great views. ||I cannot say enough about the hotel and would highly recommend it. Check out the video - picture worth 1,000 words.

A lovely hotel at an amazing location next to Fisherman Bastion and Castle. A few small nigles that need highlighting;||Checkin; We awere upgraded to Danube river suite but even though we had requested early check in. That was not possible and at 3pm check-in the room was still not ready. The first staff member gave us access to Executive Lounge to wait with a promise of 15-20 minutes till the room was ready. After 30 minutes when i went back to the reception the second person ws rather ruse and said the hotel was full and he was not responsible for house-keeping. Not something to point out to guests.||Room; Lovely room. great size and looks over the Fisherman Bastion so really nice view. When i tried to shower i found conditioner bottle empty. There is o place to hand towel near the hand basin.||Exec Lounge; Basic but nice. Service spotty. Coffee machine does not make good coffee. IF you are going to serve wine choosing good quality wine and some choice would be nice. ||Spa; non existent. Sauna was supposed to be working 5pm-9pm and was off. Tried calling for someone to come and put on and no one came in 2 hours.||Not related to hotel; Just a note for people booking in the area the restaurants within the castle area stop serving food at 9pm.

Spent 3 nights here. The hotel is just stunning. The location is amazing with easy access to transit and taxi always available. It’s so close to the castle and overlooks the river! We received a warm welcome from Leonard at the front desk- sometimes Hungarian customer service isn’t super warm even when the service is excellent. He really made our day, taking extra time to explain the hotel and some holiday customs we were curious about. Breakfast— both in the restaurant & executive lounge was excellent. The young women in the morning at the executive lounge were really darling to us. Our room was well appointed, super comfortable beds & the bathroom had a shows and tub & all the amenities. I would stay again!

Hotel selected by Viking so we added a couple of nights on the front end. Building is a modern eyesore trying to incorporate ruins the best they can. The room was great, the service good and typical overseas city Hilton. ||Location is nice for a relaxing trip, in Buda (old quiet side of city) and we loved the neighborhoods on that side of the river with lots of good restaurants in the area. ||Rooftop bar requires a reservation To enjoy, drinks overpriced, and view amazing. Actually was worth the cost of drinks and snacks for the amazing setting. Service actually good as well, which can can be poor in the rest of the city.

The Hilton Budapest is an excellent 5 stars hotel, located in the Buda side and next door to the Fisherman Bastion and other historical attractions; and not too far from the Buda Castle and many restaurants and bars. The Bus stop is across the street and the Metro a few blocks away. if you like walking, many attractions are within walking distance of the Hotel and a few miles on the Pest side across the magnificent Charles Bridge.|As a Diamond member, I was very impressed and happy with this Hotel. We got upgraded to a suite with a magnificent view of the Parliament house, which is breathtaking at night. |All the meals at the Restaurant were delicious and the service was excellent. The Executive Lounge was fantastic, with snacks and drinks during the day and a view of the Parliament House.|All of the Hotel’s staff were excellent and all of them stood out with their exemplary customer service. Daniel at the Reception Desk and the staff at the Executive Lounge were very professional, helpful, attentive, and courteous to their guests and excellent at their jobs.|We would definitely stay here again next time we visit this beautiful and historical city.
