Hilton Budapest

One of the best Hilton hotels worldwide. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. The view towards the Danube and Parliament was simply breathtaking. The breakfast offered a variety of options for each taste and the quality was excellent. Staff across the hotel was very kind and forthcoming- from the reception and bar to the breakfast-room and cleaning personnel. The location itself is hard to top. Well done Hilton Budapest, keep up the good service. Highly recommended!

There is virtually nothing that this beautiful hotel lacks. From the location to the staff and quality of services, Hilton Budapest has it all.|The rooms towards the Danube provide a breathtaking view towards Pest and the Parliament. The room was clean and neat, the beds comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel was extremely kind and forthcoming. The variety and quality of food at breakfast was outstanding. This is probably one of the best Hilton hotels worldwide. Great experience, which I highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Budapest. Our room offered a beautiful view of The Church of Our Lady of Buda Castle which wasa stunning sight to wake up to. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hotel was spotless throughout. One small maintenance issue came up during our stay, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, with a large and varied spread that was included with our Hilton status benefits. Everything from fresh pastries to hot dishes was available, and the quality was very good. Overall, a wonderful experience in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

We'd booked a river view suite, but think we lucked out with a corner on the top floor. From the lounge window we had a view over Fisherman's Bastion and the Danube to the the Parliament building on the Pest side; from the bedroom we had full view of St Matthias Church and its beyond-beautiful roof. I don't think you'd get better in the whole of Budapest. The complimentary welcome bottle of wine was very appreciated too. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, if a little on the bland and corporate side. ||We tried using the sky bar once but, even though it was only late afternoon, we were turned away as we hadn't booked. No leeway for hotel residents! The bar downstairs is a little soulless but the lobby lounge has plenty of lovely sofas to snuggle up on. ||Breakfast was very good indeed, with a huge choice, including fresh orange juice, and a person installed to cook your choice of eggs/omelettes on request. The seating arrangements were a tad frustrating, with tables packed so tightly together that I spent the first morning sitting closer to the stranger to my left than my husband opposite me. However, by the following morning we'd sussed it out and, after the staff tried to pack us in to the crowded side as was their wont, we insisted on going in to the adjacent equally huge room where there was much more space and a table to ourselves. Other people were doing the same and the staff don't seem to like this for some reason, but hey some of us just aren't morning people!

This hotel is a bit of a mixed bag. The location is amazing, in a part of Budapest I have loved for many years. I even got married in the beautiful church next door. However, I would have to say that our room was a bit tired, and simple things like the hotel phones didn't work. That said, when the staff couldn't call us back they did come to the door, so they certainly made the effort. For sure this is a nice hotel, but I have stayed in many very nice hotels and I think that this one, purely as a hotel, is pretty average. The great location is doing a lot of heavy lifting for the numerous 5 star reviews. Oh, the gym is really good!

We loved our stay here. The location is fantastic right next to the most beautiful spots in the area. The rooms were very well appointed and the food was delicious. The fitness area is very clean and well equipped but the best thing is the view of the city below when you are using the treadmills. Great hotel.

Our stay at the Budapest Hilton was outstanding. The room was comfortable with excellent accessibility features, and the breakfast was delicious. What impressed us most was the staff—every single person we encountered was helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to assist us. As handicapped travelers, we often needed extra support, and the team provided it with such care. Even at our 3:30 a.m. departure, everything from luggage to transportation was handled smoothly. Truly exceptional service from start to finish.||Hilton Budapest in a great location also. We had a view of the castle and right next-door to Saint Matthias Cathedral. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. And if you can go to the hospital in the rock.

Hotel is a very well located in Castle distric. Breakfast was excelent with lot of items to choose and omelet stadion as well. Executive lounge is the best lounge in Europe I have visited so far. All staff members were polite so nothing to complain
