Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort

"Why book?  This is the place to be if you like gorgeous oceanfront pool views, smiles from every staff member, thoughtful restaurant options, and—most importantly—to sit back and make very few decisions for the duration of your stay.  Set the scene  Tucked deep in a mangrove forest, the property sits on the ocean’s edge nestled amongst the trees and not much else. Everything you need during your stay is accessible right on the property—from dining, entertainment, ocean sports, spa splurges, and lazy pool days. Drawing a vacationing crowd, you’ll find a lot of couples, young families, and the occasional friend group looking to get the perfect tan and delight in the true decadence of an all-inclusive.  The rooms  From ocean views to private swim-up patios, whether you’re looking to sleep two or  six people you’ll find a wide range of accommodation offerings throughout the 715 rooms and suites on property. With a focus on light wood and creams, all rooms are minimalist, yet thoughtfully designed. We stayed in the Deluxe Ocean Front Suite, a generous 860-square-foot option featuring a large living room area with sofa and dining table, a king-sized bed and sitting area, and two bathrooms—all topped off by sweeping ocean front views.  Food and drink  There is no shortage of access to food and drinks, a key staple of any all-inclusive. With 12 unique dining experiences, including five specialty restaurants, a can’t-miss ice cream and churro shop, and of course the classic buffet experience, you can forget the feeling of hunger for the duration of your stay. All food and drinks are included in your booking, though some of the specialty restaurants do offer extra menu options for an additional fee. If you don’t want to spend an extra dime, you'll be very well attended to by all the standard offerings. Plan ahead for reservations at the specialty restaurants, as walk-ins can be hit or miss depending on the night. Auma, the dark and moody steakhouse restaurant, is set around a beautiful open-fire kitchen—the grilled vegetable plate was an unexpected delight, full of flavor and textures that make this a steakhouse for vegetarians and carnivores alike. If you find yourself back in your room after a long day, warm and cozy in your pajamas with a tinge of sunburn, and your tummy starts grumbling, you can plunder your in-room mini bar (which is restocked daily) or order room service, all at no additional cost.  The spa  While Hilton Cancun doesn’t have their own spa directly onsite, all guests have access to the beautiful spa at the Waldorf Astoria right next door. Situated in a stunning garden oasis, it features eight indoor and 13 outdoor treatment rooms, all using locally sourced oils and fresh herbs from the onsite garden. You can book a plethora of body and skin treatments and salon indulgences, but be sure to schedule extra time simply to enjoy the spa’s facilities—an incredible outdoor pool and lounge area that you’ll never want to leave.  The neighborhood/area  As mentioned, the property is fairly isolated. Which, if you’re looking to take full advantage of an all-inclusive, is frankly ideal. However, if you’re itching to leave the property and spend a day in nearby Cancun, you’ll need to plan ahead for transportation as walking into town is not an option but there is a tour company right onsite to help with any excursion needs.  The service  Service is relaxed and friendly. The staff exuded positivity and was truly never without a smile.  It’s also worth noting that all staff I interacted with were bilingual and happy to converse in Spanish or English, depending on your preference.   For families  Hilton prides itself on its family friendliness, whether you're traveling with a young child or a teen. Their complimentary Kid’s Club is available for kids 4-12 and offers a colorful and bright space where kids can craft, lounge on bean bags, try their luck at the gaming stations, and even practice their Spanish. Just outside of the Kid’s Club you’ll find the property’s dedicated family splash playground, which is a water wonderland featuring slides, water toys, and beach games. If you have an older child, the property offers a dedicated TeensZone space for ages 13-17 where teens have a relaxed area to watch TV, play video and board games, and compete at the ping pong tables, all available on a come and go as you wish basis.  Eco effort  All rooms come with recycled glass bottles of complimentary water that the property cleans and repurposes. Additionally, the property has its own dedicated water plant run by a specialized supplier as a sustainable irrigation system throughout the property. Accessibility  Hilton Cancun prides itself on being ADA compliant, with designated rooms that have roll-in showers and braille signage. Throughout the property, there are also key areas dedicated to accessibility including an accessible concierge desk, exercise facilities, dining, parking, and more. You can see a full list of the property’s efforts here." - Lara Kramer

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Salvador at Vela Restaurant during our stay at the Hilton Cancun Resort, and he was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we were seated, Salvador greeted us with the warmest smile and such genuine friendliness that immediately made us feel welcome. His attention to detail was impeccable—he anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, offered fantastic recommendations, and made sure everything about our meal was perfect. What really stood out was how personable he was; he didn’t just provide service, he created a memorable experience for us. Salvador went above and beyond, turning what could have been just a nice breakfast into one of the highlights of our trip. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism, kindness, and such outstanding hospitality all in one. If you dine at Vela, I highly recommend asking for Salvador—you will be in the best hands. He truly embodies world-class service and made our time at the Hilton Cancun unforgettable.

The Hilton Cancun is a beautiful hotel with some of the most helpful, friendly staff I have ever encountered! The food is absolutely delicious and the bartenders make wonderful drinks. The entertainment staff work hard to ensure guests have a fun experience while also providing a “chill pool” where the atmosphere is quieter. The fitness center is top notch with Rocko and Astorah leading classes throughout the day. They offer everything from Pilates to Cycle and TRX as well as a variety of aquatic classes. I highly recommend this all-inclusive resort!

Food is really good, quality ingredients and good variety of Italian dishes! Loved the burrata con proschiuto and the shrimps! Best part was the service, Guadalupe and Alexis took good care of us, great service!!! The singing chef was fun!! Definitely coming back Day 2 update: they say “Never go back to a place you liked too much!!” … well , the food was great, cant complain! The service was bad, they rushed us through, brought starters and entrees together, didn’t took away a single plate from the table until we pilled it all up together at the edge of the table… They told the kids they didn’t had the desert they had first time (ice cream w sprinkles). Not a biggie, they had it outside right after… All and all good, will take two starts away from service because it was great one day, mediocre next (service). Still an awesome place, thanks to the extended team :)

We had a delightful stay at the Cancun Hilton. It’s a lovely resort, lots of sun beds, ample staff to serve. Our favorite restaurant was La Luce . Food was anmazing and we were lucky enough to have Guadalupe and Alejandro as our waiters. They were both as fantastic as everyone says! You can tell they take pride in their work. He was so personable, kind, he offered great service and menu recommendations. His positive friendly attitude made the night. On our last night, Alejandro at La Luce made it a very special last night. He made a special treat for my daughter’s dessert which made her very happy.Yazmin was our waitress at breakfast and she was delightful. She was very observant of any needs, attentive, helpful and courteous. She was fantastic. We also wanted to recommend Rocco from the gym. If you have the chance to do his spin or dance class, it’s so much fun. He brings great energy to his lessons and makes it a really great time. While tips are not mandatory, the staff really appreciate them and we always tip for good service.

Great week at the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive. A few stand out employees…Shout out to Julian who welcomed us and set us up for a fantastic week! Guadalupe at the Italian restaurant. Service was 💯! Sergio who served us by the pool. So kind and moved my umbrella for me to keep me shaded. ☀️ Food has been excellent across the board. Shows have been top notch and entertaining. Highly recommend the circus night. Housekeeping has been quick to give service as needed. We saw and advertisement for the spa and Waldorf Astoria. So we did that as well and loved the massage and hydrotherapy! Family Friendky! Clean! We loved this resort and will be back.

Outstanding Service at Restaurant Auma! I had an amazing dining experience at Restaurant Auma. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. But what truly made the evening special was the exceptional service from Pedro. Pedro was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. He made sure everything was perfect, offered great recommendations, and always had a warm smile. His thoughtful and genuine attitude really elevated the whole experience. Thank you, Pedro, for your wonderful service! I’ll definitely come back to Restaurant Auma and recommend it to all my friends.

My family and I were here for a wedding/family vacation and we had an absolute blast. The hospitality at this hotel has been nothing but phenomenal. From front desk reception, to the bell boys, to the wait staff, the bartenders, etc. etc. we had a wonderful experience at Auma, the steakhouse restaurant. Our waiter Yvan Pool was absolutely excellent, very sweet, and provided amazing service. Thank you Yvan!

The resort is very secluded, but the staff is great. I recommend LaLuce (the Italian restaurant). Our waiter Guadalupe was hysterical& Alexis hos side kick made our last night extremely enjoyable. The steakhouse was very tasty as well. Ceasar at the adult pool side was very attentive and personal. If I had small kids they also have a great pool & amazing activities for the littles. The very BEST bartender is the big guy in the main bar. I can't tell you his name, but it begins with an"A". He walked me through how to make the best Mojito. The only downside was the gal that cleans our room. It's been cleaned, once they get to it, later in the day. But there was always something missing. One day our snacks weren't replaced & the next we weren't left any wash clothes. Over all all the staff really made the experience super enjoyable.
