Nestled into a mangrove forest and abutting the sea, the Hilton Cancun is a vacationer’s paradise. Amongst the 12 dining experiences that offer free food and drink with your stay, there’s mixed grills and trattorias. "Why book?  This is the place to be if you like gorgeous oceanfront pool views, smiles from every staff member, thoughtful restaurant options, and—most importantly—to sit back and make very few decisions for the duration of your stay.  Set the scene  Tucked deep in a mangrove forest, the property sits on the ocean’s edge nestled amongst the trees and not much else. Everything you need during your stay is accessible right on the property—from dining, entertainment, ocean sports, spa splurges, and lazy pool days. Drawing a vacationing crowd, you’ll find a lot of couples, young families, and the occasional friend group looking to get the perfect tan and delight in the true decadence of an all-inclusive.  The rooms  From ocean views to private swim-up patios, whether you’re looking to sleep two or  six people you’ll find a wide range of accommodation offerings throughout the 715 rooms and suites on property. With a focus on light wood and creams, all rooms are minimalist, yet thoughtfully designed. We stayed in the Deluxe Ocean Front Suite, a generous 860-square-foot option featuring a large living room area with sofa and dining table, a king-sized bed and sitting area, and two bathrooms—all topped off by sweeping ocean front views.  Food and drink  There is no shortage of access to food and drinks, a key staple of any all-inclusive. With 12 unique dining experiences, including five specialty restaurants, a can’t-miss ice cream and churro shop, and of course the classic buffet experience, you can forget the feeling of hunger for the duration of your stay. All food and drinks are included in your booking, though some of the specialty restaurants do offer extra menu options for an additional fee. If you don’t want to spend an extra dime, you'll be very well attended to by all the standard offerings. Plan ahead for reservations at the specialty restaurants, as walk-ins can be hit or miss depending on the night. Auma, the dark and moody steakhouse restaurant, is set around a beautiful open-fire kitchen—the grilled vegetable plate was an unexpected delight, full of flavor and textures that make this a steakhouse for vegetarians and carnivores alike. If you find yourself back in your room after a long day, warm and cozy in your pajamas with a tinge of sunburn, and your tummy starts grumbling, you can plunder your in-room mini bar (which is restocked daily) or order room service, all at no additional cost.  The spa  While Hilton Cancun doesn’t have their own spa directly onsite, all guests have access to the beautiful spa at the Waldorf Astoria right next door. Situated in a stunning garden oasis, it features eight indoor and 13 outdoor treatment rooms, all using locally sourced oils and fresh herbs from the onsite garden. You can book a plethora of body and skin treatments and salon indulgences, but be sure to schedule extra time simply to enjoy the spa’s facilities—an incredible outdoor pool and lounge area that you’ll never want to leave.  The neighborhood/area  As mentioned, the property is fairly isolated. Which, if you’re looking to take full advantage of an all-inclusive, is frankly ideal. However, if you’re itching to leave the property and spend a day in nearby Cancun, you’ll need to plan ahead for transportation as walking into town is not an option but there is a tour company right onsite to help with any excursion needs.  The service  Service is relaxed and friendly. The staff exuded positivity and was truly never without a smile.  It’s also worth noting that all staff I interacted with were bilingual and happy to converse in Spanish or English, depending on your preference.   For families  Hilton prides itself on its family friendliness, whether you're traveling with a young child or a teen. Their complimentary Kid’s Club is available for kids 4-12 and offers a colorful and bright space where kids can craft, lounge on bean bags, try their luck at the gaming stations, and even practice their Spanish. Just outside of the Kid’s Club you’ll find the property’s dedicated family splash playground, which is a water wonderland featuring slides, water toys, and beach games. If you have an older child, the property offers a dedicated TeensZone space for ages 13-17 where teens have a relaxed area to watch TV, play video and board games, and compete at the ping pong tables, all available on a come and go as you wish basis.  Eco effort  All rooms come with recycled glass bottles of complimentary water that the property cleans and repurposes. Additionally, the property has its own dedicated water plant run by a specialized supplier as a sustainable irrigation system throughout the property. Accessibility  Hilton Cancun prides itself on being ADA compliant, with designated rooms that have roll-in showers and braille signage. Throughout the property, there are also key areas dedicated to accessibility including an accessible concierge desk, exercise facilities, dining, parking, and more. You can see a full list of the property’s efforts here." - Lara Kramer

We Spent 10 days at the Hilton cancun, this is the second time I’ve been to this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. The level of service was outstanding and alongside the food and drink made for a very relaxing stay. The Pool waiters and lobby bar waiters were outstanding. Room size and quality was very good. I’d like to make a special shout-out out to roberto and Jesus at the pool and Angelica/o at the lobby bar as their service was particularly special. We went during the quieter season so there were no problems getting dinner reservations at the restaurants. The only difference I noticed from the first time visiting was that the alcohol brand selection had decreased. There didn’t seem to be as much variety in terms of brands available but this wasn’t something that bothered us as the selection is fine and any drink can be made by the bar staff. Looking forward to coming back.

The Hilton Cancun All-Inclusive Resort is a fantastic option for families looking for a calm, secluded getaway. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, setting a great tone from the start. Throughout the stay, everyone—from the employees to the other guests—was very friendly, often stopping for a little chat or greeting you with a smile, which created a warm and positive environment. The rooms were clean and stylish, but I found the glass panels connected to the bathroom a bit puzzling. While you can't see into the toilet or shower, it still feels inconvenient for families sharing the space. However, I really liked the wristband system, which eliminates the worry of losing your room key—a simple and clever touch. The resort is expansive and beautiful, with large, clean pools that were enjoyable despite not being the deepest. One minor drawback is that the pool hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; I feel like they could open earlier and close later to accommodate guests who want to swim in the cooler morning or evening hours. That said, there are plenty of fun activities organized in and around the pool, all handled with great energy and enthusiasm, making the experience more enjoyable. The dining options were solid as well. The all-day buffet at Vela offered a wide variety of choices, and the restaurants that required reservations were also impressive. The beach itself was decent, though the water wasn't the clearest and was quite sandy, but still enjoyable overall. I also appreciated the little extras, like the availability of board games and various activities for kids. The 24/7 room service was a great perk, with quick delivery even late at night. All in all, Hilton Cancun provides a comfortable and enjoyable family-friendly atmosphere, with just a few minor quirks.

My boyfriend and I just stayed at the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort (October) for 4 nights to celebrate our birthdays. We had a fantastic time and were so impressed with the cleanliness, friendly staff, amazing food, and relaxing vibe of the resort. ||Safety: |Tucked away many feet from the main road, the resort felt safe and comfortable. ||Room:|Our room was enormous and the bed was so comfy! It was cleaned multiple times a day and felt luxurious.||Dining:|We tried all of the restaurants and loved every meal! Maxal was our favorite. We had no issues getting reservations when we arrived.||During the trip, my boyfriend had an unknown allergic reaction to something we were not aware he had any allergies. The hotel doctor recommended we went to the hospital. Dolce and Stephanie went out of their way to provide individual care and made us feel at home and safe. They were responsive, helping us with anything we needed (like bedding changes, reservations, etc.). They made us feel comfortable and at home during our stay, even with a scary health concern! We appreciate them both so much.||We plan to come back to Hilton Cancun and look forward to a trip with no allergic reactions!

This was our first visit to the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort and we were very happy with our experience. At arrival we were greeted cordially, check in was smooth and going to our room was quick and easy. Very pleased with the initial experience. We upgraded to a room with a small pool outside of our room and we had a beautiful view with both the pool and the ocean. The room was clean, had all of the expected amenities and a good amount of drinks that included juice, soda, water and beer. There were a couple of snacks that included potato chips, a bag of peanuts and a sweet snack. There are a few restaurants to choose from that you should be sure to make reservations for ahead of time as they do book up each night. The themes were Mexican, Italian, Asian Fusion, and one that served meats such as steaks, chicken and shrimp. None of the restaurant menus were extensive however, we were able to find something we liked each time. Additionally, there was a large buffet that did not disappoint. We stuck to this for breakfast and lunch each of our three days and one time had an awesome breakfast delivered to our room. All of the staff we encountered were very nice. We never felt pressured to tip, even though we did the majority of the time. Everyone was very attentive and made us feel like they genuinely wanted to assist us in any way they could. I especially want to call out Fernando V. who was one of the servers by the south pool. He and Maximilian, the bartender for that pool, were very helpful, made us feel comfortable and in general were fun to talk to and be around.

We stayed there for 10 nights in mid-July and had a fantastic time. The variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was excellent. Our kids absolutely loved the kids' club. The staff there were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I felt comfortable leaving my daughters to play, knowing they were safe. The rooms were very spacious, but the bathroom setup wasn’t ideal for a family of four. There wasn’t much privacy after stepping out of the shower to get dressed. One of the highlights was the ease of reserving restaurants in the evening. We never had any issues, and there was always availability as long as we booked the day before. The beach area was smaller than other resorts we’ve stayed at, but we were still satisfied. There was a lot of seaweed, which seems to be a common issue in Cancun. Overall, it's a lovely hotel with friendly staff and good evening entertainment. I would definitely recommend it if you're planning to stay primarily within the resort.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Cancun resort, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. A special shoutout to Ricardo, Pool Rubin, Luis, Captain Lesley, Haste, Georgina, and Chef Osvaldo—each of them made my visit truly exceptional. Their dedication, professionalism, and friendliness were unmatched. Chef Osvaldo’s meals were a culinary delight, and the service from the entire team was consistently outstanding. I felt well taken care of every step of the way. Thank you, Hilton Cancun, for an amazing vacation. I can’t wait to return!
