We booked this last minute after a flight was cancelled and needed a room. Room was spacious and clean, good food options for late night and location was superb as you’re able to walk to the terminal in 5 minutes. Everyone we interacted with was extremely nice and helpful - from front desk to room service delivery. This hotel and the staff made a stressful late night flight cancellation much easier to handle.

Very good check on process. Friendly personnel. Always helpful employees. First time we had a room the west tower. Very quiet. Room was updated and spacious, Elevators quickly access room. Great new workout center. Room service was quick and delicious.

When leaving from O'Hare, there is no better place to stay than at O'Hare, so the location is a 5. The rooms were small but had everything I needed and we're clean and the bed comfy. That's a 5 star. And the service, it was friendly and helpful. That's all Incan ask for. 5 stars. There are two restaurants, a more casual and then a more fine dining. There is a fitness centre. All the amenities you need.

I had to catch a flight the next afternoon, so I came here a day early just to be safe. It’s just an overnight stay, no big deal. Interestingly, I discovered that the tower at the back of the hotel is actually a work by I.M. Pei.|There’s a shuttle to the airport, and luggage storage is available. Overall, it’s very convenient.

Google
Easy to get to from the terminal w/out going outside. Ask the airport's Information Desk where the tunnel to the Hilton is. You are given 1 bottle of water per person upon check-in. There is a decent restaurant off the lobby. The hotel is HUGE!

Google
The bell service and concierge are helpful and willing to assist. Got additional help directing us to get on the airport tram, which is very close by. It is very convenient for jumping off to a flight or landing and having a place to stay. Clean gym and lots of equipment. Wish they still had the pool.

Room was nice. The restaurant gaslight club, was awesome, and the service was good. But to pay over 400 for a room because my flight was delayed. And no free breakfast. Really. I feel like I was just taken advantage of price wise, for my flight being delayed. Oh yeah the front desk help the night I checked was wonderful. But Alice the morning front desk, not so much. Have a little compassion for people, Alice. Flying and getting stuck isn't fun for people. And I certainly wasn't rude to you. Just truthful about feeling like I overpaid for everything.

Sarah Hartman

Google
Price is definitely a bit steep, but it’s a Hilton and the location is perfect for overnight layovers. I was able to make a reservation day off and process was easy. Room was clean and quiet.

Yelp
I recommed this hotel if you're only here for an overnighter or flight delay. The room is a little outdated. I checked in with my smartphone so i didnt speak with anyone at the counter. My coworker stated that as a Gold status member you get $18 credit at the restaurant or bar. I asked about this at the lobby counter and young girl at the counter gave me a semi attitude about this. I walked away. My coworker explained the credit to me. Other than that, i can say my experience here was good. I came, slept and left.

Yelp
If Nadia is working customer service will lack. Let's start by saying the distaste left me to pay the same rate elsewhere as the treatment based on assumptions was simply disrespectful. I called around 30- 40 min before my arrival and I spoke to a gentleman I believe named hector I asked about Dayroom rates and airline crew discounts. I'm a silver member which isn't much but I do enjoy the Hilton and its close proximity would make my double shift less of a hassle so I could rest longer. I was told the day rate was 159 and the crew rate was between 130-139. I asked if that would let me check in now and I was told to walk on over and just provide my crew id. I walked over and there were two women at the desk and two customers in front of me. I was next and instead of asking I was simply directed to Nadia for checkout I said hello and that k was actually trying to check in and told to come over with my badge. Nadia glanced up and barely greeted me. I said hello and explained that I called the rate and that I was told to come and show my id for the discounted day rate. She responded "so you want a day use" A pilot who was on a layover came up with a room issue and she carelessly and without consideration of my time nor asking me to hold ignored my existence and moved his room while the other agent stood there without a guest as I just stood there. (A few guests walked up while she was assisting the pilot who she was again not really listening but simply responding to) And gets back to me after taking additional time to finish something else and then says ok so we don't have rooms available until 9am as that is when day use starts. She tells me that to check in early it would be an additional $75 plus tax and the room rate. I reiterated that when I called I was told different by the gentleman who answered I also asked for her to check with him and provided the time stamp of the call and recalled to verify that it indeed rung to the front desk. I asked for a manager and she informed me she was the current manager and that there wasn't a male and she didn't know who I was talking about and without apology it was just company policy and she couldn't do anything about it. But then the male I spoke with WALKED OUT TO THE FRONT At this point 30+ minutes of my time has been wasted and could've been resolved had she listened and treated me like the paying guest and member I am. I took a moment to sit and process and decided to pay the 130 something and 75 fee as I forgot to use my number and decided to use it as a points earning moment. I re approached and slid my badge, I'd, credit card and phone with my Hilton number to her. She rudely speaks as if bothered by my mere presence and I explain I want the room as I'm exhausted and just want to sleep She asked for my reward number and the items I have already placed as close to her as they could be without falling off the counter. I tell her I've already given them to her and she continues that it will be 159+75 (20 difference from the crew rate) however at this point it disappoints me again how a managers customer service can be so low as this all could've and should've been explained 40 minutes ago that there is no crew day rate. This lack of communication and just doing her job led me to pay the same price and inconvenience myself even further than her and her male agent already had. The correct course would've been an apology and to wave the fee. Bare minimum it would've been to listen to her guests initially introduction and correct all LIES (misinformation) I was given , to excuse herself or say can I take a moment prior to helping the gentleman with his room swap, and at the absolute least simply apologize and own the fact that her agent was incorrect instead of pretending there was no man and that I was lying.

Yelp
9 minute walk from Chicago Airport to Hilton. Was greeted by staff when I walked in and they were kind. The room it nice but not quite clean. Bed had hair on it, tub had leftover hair in it, counters were sticky and bathroom sink was not wiped down. Towels still have residue from god knows what. When you glance at the room itself, it's presentable but when you actually get closer...Not clean. We had the view of the parking garage and it was quite quiet even though we were at the airport.

Yelp
It's been a few years since the last review but it's the same place. A hotel to stay at because you have $ or a deal and want to walk to the terminal for an early check-in. 40+ people waiting in line to check-in - having "status" gets you a shorter line. I'd been notified via the app that I was upgraded at no charge. But the digital key wasn't available so I still got stuck with the line, and the "upgrade" took me from a runway view to a parking lot view. I got an apology but shouldn't software figure out what constitutes an "upgrade"? Toiletries remain sparse, and a call to room service informed me that the menu is "limited" tonight so some items won't be available. Corridors feel cooled to 63 degrees which is a waste. Nothing special about this property. You're paying a premium for a fast walk to check-in. Don't expect more.

Dylan M.

Yelp
So odd. I was supposed to have a queen room but assigned a meeting room with a pullout bed. They said it would still be a queen bed but it's a twin bed. Very odd. Plus the taxes in Rosemont are ridiculous. I had a $30 voucher for 2 glasses of wine which should have been about the $30 but with taxes and whatever other BS charges they add on it was $54. Such an odd experience with repeated bad service.

Beka S.

Yelp
This Hilton is a little dated but it's clean, the staff is very nice, and the location is SO close to the airport. It's also very close to the public train and about 1 hour train ride to the city. The food from the restaurant was surprisingly delicious.

Sarah T.

Yelp
Hotel could use a little updating but had a smooth and comfortable stay. The view was fantastic, really enjoyed watching the Airport activities. Speedy but incredibly convenient. Highly recommend using the tunnel system to get to the hotel from the Airport.

Katherine V.

Yelp
There are plenty of airport-adjacent hotels elsewhere (SFO and JFK, for starters) that aren't cheap but provide beautiful, clean rooms, excellent cuisine, good coffee in-room, some amenities, and outstanding service. The Hilton at O'Hare is abysmal...the rooms are outdated and not particularly clean. The bathroom door could not be shut without hitting the toilet. This is Chicago, and cold...but I could not adjust the thermostat in my room, which was set at 68, as if we were in a boarding school. The QR code did not access an in-room dining menu, and when I called for some oatmeal and fruit, I was handed a brown bag with an inedible, soupy oatmeal and...a condiment cup of jam ($15). The total pricetag? $500 for one night!! Ridiculous and insulting, and clearly geared toward a "captive audience." One nice note: The staff was very pleasant. But next time I'll stay in town and take an early cab to the airport.

Sarah M.

Yelp
Decent hotel close to airport I've been here a few times. Rooms are clean, prices vary. Ask for corner suites they've got alot more space. Bathrooms come with nice shampoos, soaps, and conditioners, hair drier, tub, and stand up shower. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds

Tamica J.

Yelp
Older hotel and right by the airport. Very convenient and clean with lots of shops and eateries. Definitely come here if in the area.

Becca S.

Yelp
I am typically a fan of Hiltons, but this one deserves it's reviews. It needs more than a facelift, it needs someone from the Hilton family to actually come here and see how they like their name on it. It is surprising for a large hotel at an international airport, to be in this state. I will start with the good, location to the airport is excellent. The bed was comfy, and they use Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf brand coffee in the room. They also have proper half and half. That is better than most Marriotts, and one of my biggest complaints. That being said, this place looks and SMELLS OLD. Like an antique store, slightly dingy. The front desk was not busy when we got there and STILL took a half hour to check us in, because they just couldn't figure it out. My company arranged our stay, and it ended up being a hassle. The room was very dark, even with all the lamps on. The sheets and towels were rough and audible when you were on or in them, the tub was cracked and painted, and the worst of all offenses, the water in the shower was NOT HOT.I even got out and got back in 15 minutes later, just in case everyone seemed to be showering at 11pm. No luck. It was barely over body temperature, so anything that was not under running water, was cold. My coworkers all experienced the same. The bed was low to the ground so the dustruffle just bunched up on the floor. A perfect example of the shabbiness of this location. Door dash will not deliver here, and room service was a hassle of you were booked under a corporate account. My friend was told to come down and order from the coffee shop, but they stopped serving at 6 on a Saturday. This is quite possibly the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. I can get past a lot of things, but cold water is not one of them.

Cassie K.

Yelp
0/10 for value, cleanliness, and customer service Only stay here if it's an absolute must. Bathroom was not clean (hair on floor and tub), no amenities in the rooms (no pen and notepad/no shelves in fridge), wouldn't provide receipt upon early checkout.

Yelp
This review is for Nadia Tahir, Front Desk Manager. She is absolutely fantastic! My college aged daughter had an 8 hour overnight layover in Chicago as she was coming from Thailand and I was told the Hilton would be the easiest, safest and most convenient hotel for her to rest her head for a few hours. I called the hotel after booking and Nadia was so understanding of my concerns and told me exactly where she would need to go to get the tram from the international terminal to the hotel, advice on where she should get food and what she would need to do the morning of her flight. She welcomed my daughter upon arrival and emailed me to let me know she was ok. As a mother, Nadia gave me so much confidence that my daughter would be prepared upon arrival and in good hands during her short stay. Thank you so much, Nadia!

Yelp
2 stars for: Location/ease of terminal access Friendly employees Digital key Fridge/Keurig I think this hotel desperately needs a renovation. Rooms are tired. Air conditioning took quite awhile to kick on. The water coming out of the sink smelled extremely strange. I got a deal on the room with Hilton, otherwise I would never pay full price. The app said I received a complimentary upgrade, but I received a standard king room so I'm not sure what all that was about. Sorry Hilton :( This was a big miss for me.

Joanna R.

Yelp
I spent one night here, by choice, but not really. We had a layover in ORD and our flight crew timed out and our flight was delayed 15 hrs.... Anyway, thankfully have booking via their app, because the line to check in at 9:30 at night was really long, even for those just picking up room keys. I'm not sure what the staffing protocol is, however, we were checking in with many others that missed their flight and were simply just checking in. They had a staff of two behind the desk and there was a gentleman standing there...with a push cart, handing out free snacks and water - which was a great touch! I think they received word from the Airline, we were all coming down to check in and many were angry.(not me, I was just tired). The staff was moving as efficiently as their systems allowed them too, they were empathetic and kind to every weary traveler. The accommodations were ok. A little run down and definitely not dust or dirt free, but it was better than an airport floor. I liked the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries...I didn't even know they still existed as a company. The gift shop in the lobby also had toiletries we could buy, since our checked luggage...was still checked. Although a mini stick of deodorant was $7.79 - seems like opportunistic pricing...Anyway, I was glad to pay for toiletries at that point. My colleague that was in the adjacent hotel room at plumbing issues...when she went to turn on her shower in the morning, the whole wall and pipes made a really loud noise...the whole hallway heard it at 3:30am. Not great, just an old building I guess. Check out was easy. I would recommend this hotel if you are stuck. Connected to it, were a bar and restaurant and a quick cafe. It's nice to be able to walk from the airport terminal to the hotel without having to go outside. EXCELLENT.

Yelp
I have stayed at this property many times over the past several decades and I will say I do like this property. The #1 reason I give 4 's is due to the convenience as it is onsite at ORD. This stay was really no different than previous stays I have had. As I am HHonors Lifetime Diamond, my room was upgraded to a runway view which I like. While not overly spacious, the room I was given was very clean and everything was fully functional. Check-In: As I always check-in via the Hilton app, I don't have to stand in line. However I do like to be given a physical key to the room. Too many times due to poor cell signal at properties I have had problems with the Digital Key, so I usually get a key. The wait time I experienced was not excessive. I was also "thanked" for being a Diamond Member (not a Lifetime Diamond Member), so that is always nice. I was also given 2 bottles of water which is typical. I was also informed that the HHonors Daily F&B Credit is/was $18.00 which I already knew. However, it was not disclosed that this can only be applied at the restaurant or the café which are to the left of the front desk. More on this in a moment. As I was very hungry for dinner, I decided to dine at the Gaslight Club restaurant. I have eaten here before and the food is very good. I have left a review of last night's dinner for the Gaslight Club which I highly recommend. My issue is that please be aware that the HHonors Daily F&B Credit cannot be applied here! As this was not explained to me at check-in, my expectation was that it would be applied. Check-Out: At checkout is when I was informed that the HHonors Daily F&B Credit will not be applied to my dinner at Gaslight Club! I asked to speak to the manager on duty. I did speak with the manager about this and expressed my disappointment. Due to my corporate limits on daily meal expenses, I have to have removed the room charge for dinner and pay with a personal card. The manager was very understanding and took care of everything from an itimized receipt perspective. For my inconvenience I was also given 10K HHonors Points (not that I need them...lol). As a result, I am subtracting 1 in my review due to the issue of not being able to apply the Daily F&B Credit for dining at Gaslight Club. Other than this issue, I can recommend that this Hilton should be considered when staying at ORD.

Brooke W.

Yelp
The hotel mistakenly sent me a 3 am wake up. Not only did it ruin my night, but I'm sure someone else misses their flight. They had nothing but "oops" to sa

Troy S.

Yelp
We had a decent night. We flew an hour north into WI only to turn back to ORD due to a thunderstorm. That was a sporty flight. Anyway, we landed after 2300 hrs so had little choice, and I refuse to try to sleep in the terminal. Good sleep is priceless. We bee-lined it to the hotel. At that time there was no line. The price at the desk was about $40 more than the internet price on the Hilton website, but we were able to get a slight discount with an association I belong to. Check in was efficient. We were able to get 2 toothbrushes and toothpaste from the desk, as our checked baggage remains at the airport for our morning flight. The desk staff was friendly. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. 7th floor, east tower, control tower view. King bed, TV, the a/c worked well. Our room has a modern digital control with an auto function. Hot shower with good pressure j. The morning. Cuisinart coffee maker. Check out was a breeze: just drop the key in the box.

Charlotte Y.

Yelp
Needs an upgrade. Very hard to roll suitcases on the thick carpeted floors in the hotel. Sparse rooms that look a bit worn. Also the online menus have errors and are hard to read... no spaces in some item names, and other items are hidden beneath others. Very confusing. Wish they paid more attention. Also had to do 2 transactions for 2 rooms even though we paid with the same card and they were under the same name. (???)

Lara N.

Yelp
Five stars for Ruben in In-Room Dining delivery. He noticed I'm under the weather and when he got back downstairs he called up and asked if I'd like a tea with lemon and honey. He wouldn't take a tip at all when he brought it back up. He deserves a raise, a promotion, all accolades Hilton gives, he should receive! I only put 4 stars on the app because... Normally I do everything possible to avoid this hotel. It's one of those old rare ones that doesn't have a thermostat in the room. The hotel controls all the temperature universally. As someone who sleeps at 65-68 degrees, it's absolute HELL, especially in the winter with the heat blowing in. They used to have portable AC units, which made it tolerable, but now they only provide fans so there's at least air movement, but it's hot air blowing. Not comfortable at all. It's a clean hotel and it's nice that it's at the airport but in and of itself I'm not a fan. However, Ruben ... him I'm a fan of.

Ellie L.

Yelp
We have stayed at this dump of a hotel twice and this last time was it for us. Never again! You'd be better off renting an hourly hotel, it'd be cleaner than this hotel. It's dirty, overpriced, rooms smell awful, doors to the rooms are broken, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting along with the bedding. I can't understand how they can charge in upwards of 400 dollars per room for rooms that look like they need to be demolished. Whatever you do, don't come here and definitely don't waste a single penny on this disgusting hotel. I only wish I could give it zero stars because 1 is definitely way too high of a rating. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE!

Lucas M.

Yelp
Extremely dissatisfied with this hotel!! Water leaks in 3 different spots in the room! I couldn't even use the restroom without getting water splashed on my face and it was coming from the light?? As soon as I walked into my room there was a foul Oder of pee. Truly a horrible hotel!! Don't pay 330 a night for this garbage!!

Ken O.

Yelp
Since I had a 10am flight, I decided to spend the night at this hotel so I wouldn't have to get up so early. Coming from the city and using the CTA, I was able to locate the hotel with emblems hanging from the ceiling. From the airport, you're on the lower level, so you'll need to walk past the fitness center and other facilities. The signage is very helpful.... take the escalator up and there's the reception desk, the restaurant and the elevators to the guest's floors. Melissa, Guest Agent, was very polite and pleasant while checking me in ... even though I had checked in digitally. Since I was in Rm 8056, meaning I had to use the West elevators. I will say, digital keys are great! Upon entering the decent size room, I noticed the great view of the airport and the runway. For me, the room was fine since it was clean, plenty of lighting, the tv worked and comfortable chair and bed. What else can I ask for?? For once, I took advantage of the fitness center which consisted of more cardio machines and some weight equipment. Very few guests using it. All of the machines were working. The next morning, I took advantage of the breakfast at the restaurant, located near the reception desk. The breakfast and service was pretty decent. Great hotel for an one night stay.... very convenient to the airport.

Fastfxr F.

Yelp
Exploitation at its finest. 20 years as a HH member, and every time I check in, they don't know me. Two stars for location. Zero stars for the hotel and staff. HH member? They don't care.

Scott S.

Yelp
No, absolutely not. Lobby looks nice and upscale, but not the case. Rates were misrepresented. Weed smoke smell rolling down the hallway during the night.

Betsy M.

Yelp
So it's been awhile since I've stayed here and I have to drop 4 stars on the service and friendliness of the staff alone. From the cafe, to housekeeping, to maintenance, to room service... everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful in a super genuine way. The convenience of this hotel is still awesome, my room was clean and comfortable and the room service food was surprisingly good!

Iris T.

Yelp
Hotel is a bit dated, but clean. Beats sleeping in the airport when you are snowed in and miss all your connecting flights. Will at least get a good nights rest before I make the trek home. Lol I recognized a lot of the people on my original flight that missed their connections or got redirected due to inclement weather. Use the Hilton Honors app to bypass the long check in lines. You still need to stand in line, but at least it is shorter. It is too cold to go out to explore so I will settle for a hot meal in the hotel. Take the underground tunnel that connects to the hotel!

Ben C.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the piano bar. The shrimp cocktail were good, the Manhattans were delightful and the servers were lovely. There were these old people singing and playing piano and dancing and it was the sweetest thing. I had the Caesar salad add anchovies which was good and the French onion soup which was also very good. My issue with this hotel is their lack of hospitality. The phone rings to an automated line. It can't help you. It will taunt you with offers of help, but there is no help. You say "representative", "operator" or "schedule a shuttle" and you get nothing. In fact once I called back and "representative" got the machine mad enough to disconnect me. The problem is this hotel thinks it's close. Words like "a short underground walk from terminals 1, 2, and 3" are used to paint and idyllic scenario where you are teleported to a sleepy oasis. In fact I was told that it would add 10 minutes to my "short walk" from terminal 1 and I should just jockey across the street/parking lot. In the rain. That was after I had to squeeze onto a terminal shuttle bus provided by OHare and a fight almost broke out. Because the "shuttle from terminal 5" is by appointment only. BUT THERES NO WAY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT BECAUSE NOBODY PICKS UP THE PHONE!!!!! It's jokes! I've got 90 lbs of luggage, it's raining and I just spent 18 hours flying in from Europe and going through customs. So this morning I asked if I could get a ride to terminal one and they explained it was a short walk. They can take a short walk out of their own ass and into the hospitality industry.

Kaitlin G.

Yelp
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. From the time we checked in the front desk staff was entitled, rude, and had snarky attitudes with us. They couldn't be bothered to assist us and looked at us as if we were stupid. I've never been treated so rudely, the staff would cover their mouths to talk about us as we passed by the desk. The rooms are dingy, not at all updated, had no fan or ventilation. The service was slow and the breakfast was over priced for runny eggs and cold bacon. Upon check out the staff was dismissive of our concerns and downright disrespectful. I would take your business somewhere else. My family, friends, and I certainly will never stayed at any Hilton again. The one star is for the very sweet shuttle drivers who were the only upside to this hotel, which is pretty sad.

Debra T.

Yelp
Through no fault of our own, we missed a connecting flight from Chicago to Minneapolis on March 18, 2023. We had been on a plane for 12 hours and just needed a hotel for the night. We were told that Hilton had one on the O'Hare property. We were able to secure a room for the night. The good--beds we're comfortable and there was a bar/restaurant downstairs. The bad--Cost of the room was $369 for the night. The ugly--When I took a shower in the morning the drain in the tub was partially clogged. I ended up with water over my ankles. When the water did drain, there was all kinds of hair in the tub and it wasn't mine. It was disgusting to know that I was standing in this while showering. The rooms are old and need updating. Certainly not worth the amount of money we paid. Hilton did not impress us at all.

Nikki K.

Yelp
I stay in a lot of hotels, and in the height of COVID: NO WHERE in the US has had room service. NO WHERE in the US has had an on site restaurant open late. I had flight delays and missed my connecting flight home and was stuck in Chicago for a night and stayed here. I was exhausted and starving. It was 9:30pm. I was so insanely delighted they had a last minute room AND full room service available. I was already dealing with not being able to go home and they made it so much more tolerable.

Carrie R.

Yelp
Wow! What a life saver! While traveling from Boston to Central America for Christmas, our family of 5 (with small kids) had a short overnight layover in Chicago and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay here. It was but a short indoor walk from the terminal to the hotel and in the morning getting back through security for our 6 am flight was a breeze. We paid more than what we usually find reasonable on our budget but for the convenience and that everything was so effortless at the hotel, not to mention clean, my husband and I both agree that we would stay here again anytime we are in for a Chicago quick stay.

April P.

Yelp
Filthy, stinky, old, and dirty. It's currently 4:45am and I can't sleep. This is one of the worst hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The carpets are covered in stains so bad that I won't even walk to the bathroom without shoes. The shower is so gross that even after a long day of travel, I feel cleaner than it looks. The bigger problem? Nobody cares. They're getting their money hand-over-fist because of the convenience to the airport, so why do better? Why clean? Why upgrade stained and stinky carpet? Why replace the smoke-smelling pillows and cheap bedding? No reason, they're getting their money so we, their paying customers, l can just suffer.

Sarah A.

Yelp
this is a bad hotel it doesn't provide anything and it's so expensive even the mini fridge doesn't have anything and when i asked them for a hair comb and toothbrush they said they don't have what kind of doesn't have simple things like if it's gonna be so expensive just one room for 2 nights is 910$ that is not a reasonable price but if going to be that expensive at least have some hair combs and toothbrush and some loofas or free breakfast

Amy F.

Yelp
Only pro - it's located steps from the airport so that if you have an early flight you can stay the night before and not have to get up super early. At least that was what I was thinking- I won't be doing this again. Stay somewhere that offers a shuttle to the airport and get more for your money - or should I say "get what you pay for". Two folks were working check in, the regular line was the deep so I opted for the Hilton Honors line which only had one person, and I'm a gold member. The lady at check in yelled at me and told me to go get in line and pointed to the longer line. I started to mention the signs all over the place saying it was for Honors customers, but she again yelled and said "the line starts over there, go over there". I asked for an upgrade if it was available, I was told to stay in the room I had, that the upgraded corner rooms were available but would be too hot because of the outside weather. I didn't realize what this meant until I got to my room - it was a balmy 77 degrees with the AC set to 68. Overpriced for what you get. Rooms are outdated and smell of stale smoke.

Yelp
Hello I just needed to vent a little I got stuck in Chicago that cancelled my flight I was tired and needed a hotel close to the airport HILTON is across the street I had to pay 300 dollars for one night . My room was 3046 and if I tell you how disappointed I was. First the room wasn't clean it looked like poop was in the toilet also the room was cold. When I called room service there was no answer you have to text them in order for them to respond. They ended up just giving me more blankets and telling me the bathroom is clean for this amount of money this was unacceptable

Yelp
For what it is, namely a convenient airport for early AM flights or a forced stopover because of flight cancellation, it works. If you'd stay at a hotel in the city you'd pay probably as much and then have to schlep early to ORD, although that's something that can be done as well. But it's older, a bit worn down, and can be noisy depending on where your room is. Avoid the rooms that are nearer to the terminal - oo1 rooms, since there seems to be activity all the time. There is room service, but that's it - not a lot of food choices unless you go a few miles away.

Yelp
I went here for an overnight business meeting with some pretty low expectations, and have to say I was very impressed. Check in was a breeze. The hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly. Meeting rooms were spacious and tech support was readily available. Windows must be designed by NASA because I never heard a plane. On criticism would be the rooms were a bit date. Also, be aware that the hotel is huge. Leave yourself ample time to get to your meeting.

Yelp
Absolutely a wonderful stay recently. Hotel is right on the O'Hare airport grounds, so walking to the hotel is no more than 10 mins from the main terminal. I arrived super early (5 am ) was able to check in! Right place at the right time! Room was on a corner, facing the control tower. Very cool, its not for everyone, i know... Hotel is also walking distance to the train that goes directly into the city. Breakfast was the only thing I have it the side eye. (Gold/diamond members im talking) get a voucher to the cafe by check in desk. Coffee, tea or bottle juice, a pastry, and a choice between yogurt/granola cup or fresh cut fruit also in a cup. Other than that. Loved the property. The staff. The room. The view.

Yelp
My sibling and I were stuck in ORD for three days due to weather delays and this hotel was so close and made it so easy and stress-free to stay nearby. Doug helped us at the front desk and was so kind and accommodating and made our stay much smoother. The desk and restaurant staff were all very calm and collected among the chaos and we're so glad we could snag a room!

Yelp
We had the first flight of the day for our trip to Turks and Caicos, so we figured it would be worth it to book a night versus driving from Naperville and hustling to get to our flight. This is the only hotel connected to O'Hare, so they have a huge advantage over other hotels in the area. We parked our car in the valet area while we checked in, but we made sure to let valet know that we weren't going to utilize their services due to our need for long term parking (8 nights). There were two receptionists and the lines were three deep. We checked in the Hilton Honors line and we were given three bottles of water and the room key. They had just enough Christmas decor throughout, which I thought was a nice touch. I suggested a room with an airport view for our LO, and the receptionist said she already had that in mind when she saw us. Our room had two double beds, as requested. Space was tight, the room was not the most modern and it was a tad dingy. However, I tried to overlook this, as we were only going to use the room for literally 10 hours. When we arrived to our room, we had the most amazing view of the sunset and planes departing/ arriving! I think I was more excited than our LO about the view. The hotel is literally connected to the airport, so the next day, we just had to take the elevator to a specific floor, walk a little, then take another elevator and we were at the terminal. For location and convenience, I'm giving it a 5 rating. For the room itself, I'll give it a 3, which is pretty generous. Overall, the experience averages out to a 4. Again, they don't have any competition, so we would stay here again if we need to catch a super early flight.

Yelp
After being stranded in Chicago and not able to get home on the last flight, Annaise at the front desk was so kind and efficient. She expedited our check in and we were in the comfort of our rooms in no time. Thank you!!!

Yelp
The room smelled like bad. The bedding was stained. The carpet was dirty. The shower was broken. One of the lamps didn't have a switch.

Yelp
This is clearly the worst hotel .... service wise, I have ever frequented. Chronically understaffed. Took 30 m to check in... insufficient help at check in desk. Phones not answered. restaurant also understaffed. rooms are fine

Yelp
The Hilton Garden Inn at ORD airport costs $250 a night and it is a total dump. The decor is straight out of 1980 and has never been upgraded. Everything is old and worn out. The hotel's only redeeming factor is proximity to the airport. I've stayed in nicer Motel 6's for $45 a night. The hotel is a disgrace and should not be a Hilton property. The HVAC system did not work properly...blew 90 deg air with no climate control at all. The bathroom looked like a crime scene and smelled like pee. Pealing paint and sagging ceiling. Calling this hotel a dump is an understatement. The Hilton Garden Inn at ORD should be condemned as unfit for habitation for anything more than $30 a night. TOTAL DUMP. I will never stay there again. Buyer beware.

Yelp
The WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. Was there for one night. Was charged an early check-in fee (a nice touch...so glad i'm a hilton rewards/loyalty member...) and the bathroom in my room was unclean. But that was just for starters. While sound asleep at 1230am, i was awoken by a light in my room turning on. I was then greeted with the sight of a man standing in my room. After I shouted, he ran out of the room. Horrified, I called the front desk/security where no one answered. I don't know if this was a guest who was mistakenly given a key to my room, a hotel employee who looks for unoccupied rooms to sleep in or a thief/criminal. And when I finally made contact with hotel staff, they couldn't have cared less. This hotel is unsafe. Avoid it.

Yelp
This Hilton is dated and overpriced, but if you need a easy place to rest at O'Hare there is no easier place. Lines at the front desk can be long. It seems they simply do not have enough agents to handle the crowds during busy times. Employees are polite and friendly, but it is evident they are stretched thin. Rooms are comfortable, but dated and the heating and cooling system seems its set to the season. I was there in the spring with mid-sixties outside, the ac just didn't come on... it was only heat. Here is my biggest issue. If you don't want to eat at their dining locations, they have a small market. I have never seen more obscene prices. One can of Bud Light, $12.95... one split of Prosecco? $18.95... I know I'll pay more at a hotel or airport, but these prices are just completely unacceptable. It's really disgusting. Simply for that reason, I would take my business elsewhere. There are so many choices nearby that do not exploit their customers in a really obscene manner.

Yelp
Over priced One restaurant was closed The other had a two hour wait Gift shop wanted to change me seven cents for a bag Rooms are hot I have stayed at best westerns that were better

Yelp
Look, you stay at the Hilton O'Hare for necessity and convenience based on your situation (like my 6am flight), so as long as the very dated rooms are habitable, that works for me. The chicken wrap from the little lobby market was actually pretty tasty, and the wifi was solid, no issues streaming on my iPad. Location, location, location, right?
