I would not recommend booking at the Hilton Hotel Durban because they can cancel your booking at any time with no proper explanation, even if you have paid and received a booking confirmation months in advance. You could be left stranded without accommodation if you are travelling from far. Totally unreliable. It feels like they are discriminating against guests. It may be safer to book at Suncoast Towers - always a pleasant experience staying at Suncoast and the views are better too.

The quality of the carpet 😭❤️🔥👑 The cleaners won't touch to take your things. But to organize them. Had bottles of liq, some open and non was tasted i can assure that. Had coins and notes, counted them and left them as if not counted, 7 days days of peace and a beautiful view. Best breakfast🔥🔥🔥🔥 Hilton is a total 5 star.

I had a personal item stolen from my room, despite not requesting housekeeping service. Although the Guest Relations Manager initially claimed they would contact me for feedback, they have since avoided my calls and have not followed up. In addition, my colleague experienced a serious security breach when two strangers were mistakenly given access to her room. I am deeply appalled by both the poor service and the complete lack of communication regarding these incidents.

Hilton Durban were very accommodating. Was able to check in late at night without any reservations after running from Elengani Hotel because of cockroaches in our room and a sofa that smelt like a dog had been sleeping on it, began Triggering my asthma. Not only did Hilton come to our rescue. But staff at all levels went out of there way to ensure that we were comfortable and well catered for at all times. Our spacious room wasn't only contemporary and well arranged but was clean and tidy. From now on whenever we go to Durban we will definitely stay in the Hilton. And will never stay in the Elengani despite them owing us two nights!

Aside from check-in and a courtesy call or message to the room, there is nothing extraordinary about the property. There's never anyone at valet to welcome you or assist with bags. The bathroom amenities were very stingy, no washcloths, one small soap and one hand towel.

Excellent service all round, from the reception, beautiful clean rooms, friendly staff very helpful especially the supervisor I hope I have the ryt name Bonakele Mthembu very welcoming nd friendly lady. Excellent service 10/10
