Hilton Durban

The Hilton Durban offers a professional and comfortable stay, ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The check-in process was fast and efficient, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel is commendable. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with good facilities throughout. We stayed at the hotel on two separate occasions. While the first stay was pleasant, during our second visit the air-conditioning in the room was not working. When we requested to speak to the manager regarding the issue, we were informed that he was not on site, which was disappointing. Overall, Hilton Durban delivers a clean and well-equipped environment with helpful staff, although there is room for improvement in responsiveness and issue resolution.

The Hilton Hotel Durban is a great choice, especially if you’re attending an event at the Durban Exhibition Centre — it’s right next door, which is super convenient. The hotel itself is big, very neat, and well-maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and consistently provide great service. Parking is also convenient, although it's important to note that you do have to pay for it. Just make sure to mention it when you check in. Overall, a solid and reliable stay in the heart of Durban.

Very convenient hotel. It is perfectly located if you’re attending something at the ICC, the exhibition centre or the cricket stadium. For everything else there are probably better locations. Everything is generally comfortable but for a 5-star hotel there are too many little things that need attention. Overall a decent experience however.

As always, everyone makes a real effort to make your stay great! Huge call out to Thandeka, who makes a real effort, as well as the bar staff who always makes you feel welcome! All a great credit to the brand. If there’s one area of focus, it’s the evening food in the executive lounge. Can we quite bland and limited choice. However, still a great stay as always.

Good hospitality and smiley peoples. We had a great stay for 3 weeks at the hiltons. Bed were comfortables. Always room to improve the quality of the service but the joy of the workers counter balanced.

The Hotel itself is beautiful. Check-in was a breeze. But oh my goodness the service at the restaurant is horrifying!! I don’t think I have experienced such in my life. You wait 30 minutes to be given a menu, another 30 for the waiter to come take your order and 2 hours for your food. Don’t go there hungry because you will faint while waiting for the food. I don’t have words to describe the terrible experience at the restaurant, it is astounding. They need to do better.

Although they have been renovating for more than a year, this spot was really great for my business trip. It's really close to everything and the staff are really nice! The bar was opened, too, which was a great addition. The breakfast is really out of the world and could highly recommend it! Recently revisisted again and still this is very good value, plus the gym was open too!

A total win when visiting this sprawling city and especially the Convention Centre next door! The standard rooms are really big and so comfortable, it's an excellent base. They provide their own amenities in large bottles to avoid waste, and so you don't even need to remember toiletries. Restaurant has a great view and super portion sizes, and I have to give a shout out to Londeka on the desk who went above and beyond to help me get a twin very, very last minute despite the hotel being full! She is an absolute hero.
