I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member. As such I enjoy staying at different properties within Hilton's portfolio. A short visit to Fort Worth brought me to this property. It was chosen because of its proximity to the Fort Worth Central Station, where I would be often arriving and departing on Amtrak, TexRail, and Trinity Railway Express.||I did the app based check-in and room selection the day before my arrival, and I accepted the room upgrade the hotel gave me. Upon arrival I was able to go directly to my room without stopping at the front desk.||The building has already seen its best days. Simple internet searches will tell you that the structure is more than a century old. Improvements to the building's amenities each time the property changed flags is akin to putting lipstick on a pig.||My room, while larger than I would have gotten without the Honors upgrade, was dark and dreary. There is no light in the desk area, making it very hard to do work. In the small bathroom, the one light fixture over the shower was inadequate to light the entire room including the toilet area. Luckily the sink area is out in a foyer area and has ample lighting. Enough counter space there for my toiletries.||I did not partake of breakfast so I cannot comment there. The hotel was nice enough to store my luggage for most of the following day while I enjoyed various activities in the Metroplex.||Overall the stay achieved its mission as I got enough sleep. Hilton has its Fort Worth presence in this building, but it's high time for them to try to find a new home to make the guests' amenities brighter and more inviting.

Hilton Fort Worth Review – Disappointing Stay Despite Friendly Front Desk I recently stayed at the Hilton Fort Worth for 4 days and 3 nights with my daughter. While the front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay, the overall experience left much to be desired. The hotel itself is clearly showing its age. While it carries a "vintage" charm, the rooms are dated and in need of renovations. Maintenance issues were apparent throughout the property—most notably the broken escalator leading to the gym basement and a non-functioning water dispenser inside the gym, which blinked a red “service” light the entire stay. To make matters more uncomfortable, I observed maintenance crew members repeatedly entering the gym just to use the restroom. Housekeeping was another major pain point. Our room was not serviced during one of the days, and when I followed up, I was told it was due to a privacy sign being on the door—which was absolutely not the case. The staff at the front desk tried to help, but it took all day to sort out, and we had to wait over an hour in the lobby later that afternoon while they finally cleaned our room. As for the breakfast buffet—mediocre at best. The offerings were very limited and did not reflect the price point at all. It felt more like a bare-minimum setup rather than something you'd expect from a Hilton. In short: while the stay was relatively inexpensive, I would not return. There are better-maintained and better-valued options nearby. We'll likely try Le Méridien next door on our next trip.

We held an event with approximately 215 people in attendance. Linda Brown-Turner, Brittany Vinson, and Mario Valdez were phenomenal. The hotel did a terrific job from check-in to check-out. Located in heartvof downtown with lots to offer within a short walk. Hotel restaurant handled large influx of people with ease. Professional, responsive, and excellent service overall. We intend to return and host our event at this location again. Thank you!

Our team held an event at the Fort Worth Hilton and the banquet staff was AWESOME! Mario Valdez and his team provided excellent service and all of our event attendees were so pleased! The food and beverage service was quite tasty and our attendees truly enjoyed our 3 meals! Great experience!

My family and I had an excellent time at this hotel. The rooms were the cleanest and coziest I ever stayed in. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. The location was great, near restaurants and center of town. We will return in the future and will stay longer.

Excellent Stay! Rooms were very clean and service was very helpful with anything I needed. All amenities up to date and extremely useful and efficient. Thank you to your whole team! Will definitely be coming back with more family! Thank you!

Google
Nice room, but the A/C wouldn't cool at all. You can adjust the thermostat, but it does nothing to the temp! Room service entered in the middle of our stay and threw away several items that were not in trash cans for some reason. Valet got something all over the passenger seat and console of my car, and all 3 guys just disappeared at once before we could ask what it was? Didn't smell like cleaner and was sticky. It was also cool outside and a very slow morning, so likely not sweat.

I stayed at the Hilton Fort Worth. It was one of the worst experiences at a Hilton hotel by far. Upon checking in I was greeted nor acknowledged as a Hilton Honors Member. Once in room you can tell it had not been stocked. There was only 1 towel in the bathroom. I contacted the front desk to let them know I only had one towel, and the staff brought up 2 face towels and no hand or drying towels. Ice was never available; the AC and refrigerator didn't work. I asked several times for someone to come check it. I also ran into the maintenance staff on the elevator and asked if they had a request for Room 517, they said no. I also reached out to the front desk to request a fan to be brought up and was told that all fans had been checked out for the evening. Leading me to believe there was more than one room w/o AC. The toilet ran after flushing; the sink was clogged because the stopper was broken it would open. You had to manually put your finger in the sink to lift it so the water can go down. When you turned the shower off the sink would make a gurgling sound. I asked several times via the "how is your stay text" and repeated trips to the front desk. Not to mention the front desk staff member was almost never there, because they were grabbing ice every 2 mins because it wasn't stored in the pantry ice chest. Absolutely, unorganized and unprofessional place I have ever stayed. For the price I paid I should have stayed elsewhere.

Yelp
I was very disappointed in this Hilton, which is very odd as I've always received great customer service. Sooooooo where do I start? Upon check-in, no one thanked us, welcome us, gave us any idea of what was in the hotel. what was available- nothing. Got into the room, which was nice. There is nothing about the hotel in the room? No book telling me about what's going on in the city no amenities brochure, nothing. The unfortunate thing is you have to valet park here and they charge you $45 (which seems like absolute robbery) ! I wouldn't mind the valet parking -first if it was a little more reasonable and second if it hadn't taken over an hour to get my car - Which btw made me late to the event that I actually came into town to attend !I wasn't the only one as many other guests told me they were going to be late as well and one even MISSED the wedding that they flew in from out of town to attend!? I went to the front desk to ask a manager please come and help with the valet situation- No one made any effort at all.?! We did decide to hit the cocktail lounge when we returned from the event that we attended (LATE -I remind you)and get a nightcap only to be charged for two separate tabs the next day!!! I did not notice until I got home and when I called, they said WELL they were charged to your room ???! One was at 2 o'clock in the morning when I was fast asleep . I had to get a hold of headquarters to get that charge removed. I love the history of the hotel I love the room in the hotel I like the location of hotel I liked the drink I had in the lounge (although it was overpriced) but I'm afraid I won't be returning WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HILTON?!

Yelp
I stayed at this location with my boyfriend when we went to a show last fall. Incidentally, this was also the location for our agency's conference this past spring. Most recently, I started here for just about a week. I arrived on Sunday and checked out on Thursday. In October the place was undergoing renovations. Despite that, that never missed a beat. Fast forward to April, the place was renovated. The parking garage was valet only (since work was paying, I needed the less expensive option); self parking was in a lot behind the hotel. Okay, the lot is in the middle of a construction zone and it was tiny. I noticed this because we expected at least 200 attendees and we would definitely not fit in that lot. The parking was a little inconvenient. I dragged all my bags across the street and up the little staircase up to the door. Fortunately, the lot was on the side of the elevators I needed. The venue is beautiful and the accommodations were great. The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant had limited options, but they were very good and fairly priced. The venue is located in a nice area with lots of nearby options in walking distance. I would recommend this location and would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Decent but not great hotel, and a bit disappointing for a Hilton. While I can appreciate the historical value of the hotel, the rooms were a bit older, and my bathroom had a few drainage issues. The water in the sink and tub pooled, but the sink was worse off. I honestly debated if I should change my room, because I also heard other guests complain of low water pressure; my shower thankfully had adequate pressure. The hotel breakfast services leaves something to be desired. At $17, the options at the breakfast buffet are decent, but service is incredibly slow even if they are kind. The reception staff were kind, and allowed for me to store my luggage prior to my check in time. Early check ins are an additional $75. Overall, there are probably better choices than this Hilton, especially for the price per night.

Yelp
We enjoyed our spare of the moment stay at this hotel. It is an older hotel, but the rooms were amazing. They were big and had nice size bathrooms and seemed to be in a good place (not far from Sundance square). Our Uber rides to the stockyards were only around 8$ each. One downfall is that you must pay for valet parking which was was 45$. I wish they had an option for self park like the hotel in Dallas. They didn't even comp the parking for diamond members. We went down for breakfast because we had a 30$ credit in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was 17$ which was pretty expensive. They did have a pretty good variety of things to pick from. I went ahead and just got pancakes which tasted like the ones you make yourself at the Hampton Inn. I paid 11$ for 2 pancakes. The coffee was also extra along with the soft drinks. The floor was very very sticky and our shoes made noise when we were walking on it. Also, it seemed that the waiters that helped us spoke very little English and were having difficulty understanding what we wanted. The bufffet offered a made to order omelet and we wanted bacon, cheese, potato omelet. So we got a bacon and cheese omelet with potatoes on the side.

Yelp
This hotel has a few historic interests including being the last night JFK spent on this earth and hints of its 1929 origins, but in general it's very clean but bland. I would've been very disappointed if I hadn't had a significant discount on the room rate due to a local gala package. The facility seems well maintained but has very little color inside and wasn't very bright. The king bed room was good, and things were quiet. There were no HHonors amenities that I could detect and while pleasant the people at the reception counter weren't interested in going beyond the minimum. Parking is valet only at $45 per day. Good location with easy walk to local city attractions.

Yelp
I had such an amazing stay, I came for a work trip. I fly down to the area frequently but this was the first time I've stayed at this hotel. The location is very convenient and the staff at the hotel are so friendly on top of everything. I had the pleasure of meeting Omed at the cafe area for breakfast, he provided me with the best customer service, was so friendly and welcoming and absolutely made my morning! His service alone deserves 5 stars! I will definitely be coming back to stay here next time I'm in town. Very clean, very convenient location, amazing customer service.

Chris M.

Yelp
Dump with very spotty service. I'd stay anywhere else you can. Room made my sinuses shut down. Toilet ran on and off all the time. Some of the valets were horrible. They gave out reservation away to someone else. Dated rooms. Only two of the three elevators were working. I could actually keep going but what's the point. Stay somewhere else would be my recommendation.

Yelp
I had a very bad experience at the hotel bar/ restaurant. I ordered a single shot old fashioned and was very clear in my order. However, the bartender behind the bar gave me a double shot without telling me that it was a double shot. I proceeded to order one more single shot cocktail after my first and he proceeded to give me another double shot without my knowledge or consent. I only realized that I have been drinking two double shot cocktails when I checked out and my tab was nearly $200 for 3 drinks(one for my lady) and 2 appetizers. However the bartender continued to gaslight me as I tried to explain that I only ordered a single shot per drink. We were in a hurry, so I was not trying to argue with him over this. At the end of the day it is what it is, but I fear he might be taking advantage of other guests by getting them more intoxicated than they had intended and manipulating guests. I have been a diamond member with Hilton for years and have given well over hundreds of thousand dollars to them from my business and this is the first time I truly felt sick to my stomach after the way my lady and I were treated.

Ashly H.

Yelp
Once again another location claiming to be fully booked today as a reason for not honoring our Diamond member late checkout and yeah we are leaving now and it's a ghost town here. Hilton Keri's getting worse I'm sorry. No robes. No slippers. No water in the room. Jee wiz, thanks for the shampoo and toilet paper. Weren't even any Qtips. So, yes. If you want basic you get basic and for mid prices. At least the mattress was comfortable? I guess I sound whiny but diamond member isn't appealing anymore

Stefan H.

Yelp
Spent two nights for a business meeting. Hotel is older and a bit worn. Rooms and facilities are adequate but nothing more. Catered food was okay. Had lunch at the hotel restaurant. Service was okay, with Mai doing a good job. The kitchen was incredibly slow considering we were the only two covers. Kitchen did not prepare a dish including what was listed on the menu. They left the potatoes out of one dish, and the corn out of the other! When brought to the kitchen's attention, both were delivered separately, after each dish was plated and served! Food was mediocre at best. Convenient to the convention center and downtown restaurants.

Bob J.

Yelp
I am so disappointed. Over $200 in cash stolen from its hiding place in the center console of my truck by the valet. Entire contents of console clearly rifled through. I'm Hilton Honors Diamond and never had an experience like this. Nothing I can do but blame myself but you've been warned Nice hotel and lobby bar. Room air conditioner not very effective even after service though. Room spacious and nicely finished.

Keeva P.

Yelp
Horrible stay. The rooms are outdated, my linens were not clean, there was urine on the toilet, the elevator floors were dirty, only one person checking guests out in the morning then she charged the wrong card without confirming with me if I wanted to use the card on file. Just...no. 0 out of 10.

Andrea D.

Yelp
Front desk receptionist had ZERO customer service skills. That's all I will say. I hope they plan on renovating this place because most of their amenities don't work. And there was this one time where they stopped the escalators from working??? And there was no sign or anything. Lazy.

Wanda R.

Yelp
Nice hotel with historical value. The decor is unique and classy. The dinner we had at Cafe Texas is one of the best I've ever eaten at a hotel restaurant. Our server Mongdong was superb.

Josie E.

Yelp
Way over priced for the quality. If I have a choice I will choose not to stay here again. A/C issues, toilet issues, sink issues, roach issue, door issues. Room was so old and un down and rusty in the bathroom. I paid over $500 for 2 days. I value my money and work hard for it, this was not worth my money. Oh and no where did it mention VALET ONLY nearly $50 per day and no public parking anywhere!! So I spent over $600 to stay here 2 days. Ridiculous.

David F.

Yelp
I stayed there is weekend for a NASCAR event. The A/C in our room was not working very good at all. The room never really cooled down. Also I called down for extra towels because the room only had 2 in it when we arrived. I placed a call at 9:30 at night which is late but when we checked out 24 hours later we still hadn't received any towels. I would not recommend this hotel if you are staying in Fucky Town. There are nicer places with A/C. I will say that the staff at the front desk were nice on arrival.

Anarosa M.

Yelp
Paying $976 for 5 nights stay (7/30-8/5)we left and never got a room service (supposedly upon request) and we called front desk about 4 times, they say oh we'll send someone(same answer). Btw first time I called front fest, I specifically said: please let the cleaning person know, we don't need cleaning anywhere else but, just bathroom, change towels and take out trash, 'ok will do' DIDN'T HAPPEN. And maybe our 2nd night we receive a phone call complaining our next door neighbor complained we're loud, and my son was just talking as a 6 year old does, coming from California trying to adjust to Texas time,..so quick to call and complain, wish they were that quick to come clean Also need a lot of upgrades, rooms are old. Lobby and food was good though..

Beau R.

Yelp
By far the worst experience at ANY hotel. I have had better stays in a Best Western or Days Inn. The app gave us the option to checkin in early and pick a room, so we did just that. When we arrived at the hotel early, the receptionist told us that the room we picked was not available, but they put us in a smaller room. That was the first problem. The second problem came when we went to our room, and there was only one towel for three people. Also, they had shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower, but they were empty. I called down to the front desk at 3:00pm, and the receptionist said he would send housekeeping up with those items immediately. Three hours later, they still had not arrived with those items. We decided to go to dinner, but it took 20 minutes to get back downstairs because they only had one elevator working in a 14 floor hotel. When we finally got downstairs to leave for dinner, I stopped by the front desk to inform the receptionist that I called three hours earlier for extra towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. They apologized for the delay and assured me those items would be delivered when we got back from dinner. The hotel was also valet only parking ($45 cost), and when I got outside to retrieve my car, the valet attendants could not find my car. After another half hour waiting for them to find it, they find pulled up with my car and we were able to go to dinner. We returned about four hours later, and housekeeping had only delivered the towels; still no shampoo, soap or conditioner. Also, they still only had one working elevator. The following morning, we went downstairs to get coffee and find out what the hotel had for breakfast. The guy making coffee did not know what he was doing, and it took him about 30 minutes to make my wife a latte. We also ordered two breakfast sandwiches, and he handed them to us cold. When we ask him if we could warm them up, he handed us dirty plates to put them on. After eating partially warmed food and drinking our "lattes" we headed to checkout. After checkout, we went outside to retrieve our car, and it took another 30 minutes for them to bring it around. You would think that an "upscale" hotel would have upscale service, but this place definitely does not. I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else and save yourself the headache with this place. I will definitely never stay at this location again, and will probably not be staying in any Hilton again in the future. HORRIBLE!!!

Cassandra J.

Yelp
You guys have thieves, the person that parked my car on 12-9-2023 stole some coins out of my car and it was 8pm-10pm . You were supposed to park my car , not search for things to steal!!!!!

June W.

Yelp
The Hotel may be the worst Hilton I have even been. It's probably worth only $80 per night. The hotel is generally very old, particularly bathroom in rooms. It requires an entire renovation. the front entrance r is too small area, which makes it always fully packed if people and vehicles waiting for valet parking. It's also loud (I guess it's because the old building does have good acoustic isolation).

Lisa V.

Yelp
I understand we're in a pandemic which affects everyone. Know that there are No amenities whatsoever at this time, no restaurant, bar, coffee, breakfast, pool or gym available but rate is full price $149. Closest open Restaurant was Ruth Chriss with limited hours. Single hand bagged ziplock bags of ice were the only complimentary item. Our view was of the deserted hotel across the street, the train station and closed Billy Miners restaurant. Sadly the location is surrounded by homeless folks. Valet parking for $31 A night or on the street. Suggest staying in a different hotel elsewhere. Perhaps Hilton should lower rates or offer bonus points for stays where no amenities are offered. This is a historic hotel, formerly the Texas Star, JFK and Jackie spent their last night there before his assassination in Dallas. Glad we got to experience that part and see the pictures but we won't stay there again.

Pete H.

Yelp
Great location especially if you are there for an event at the convention center. Very walkable. Close to several restaurants and bars. Rooms were big. Older, but updated and clean.

Don S.

Yelp
This is a special place and I had a great visit in all aspects but one. For some reason the HVAC unit in my room and the others I traveled with would not suffucently cool the room. No matter how low I set the thermostat the unit would only run for a few minutes then cut off. Never reaching the desired temprature. It is still a really nice place, I just wish they would let me sleep in a cool room if that is what I want.

Allen H.

Yelp
Do not stay at this hotel! Albeit architecturally gorgeous, even as a devout Hilton property customer, I will never stay here again. The rooms are either freezing cold or nothing. You cannot adjust the thermostat in any room of the hotel, so you either freeze to death (which smells of horrible old mildew) or you sit in a room with no air circulation and be stagnant. And, don't expect any assistance from the hotel manager, Laci, she is completely nonresponsive, and when you finally nail her down after 2-1/2 days, she blames her staff. Sad!

N F.

Yelp
From the time I arrived their were issues. My room smelled like mildew and I had to be moved. The television service was limited and terribly outdated. No streaming ability or option to watch movies. The remote was dirty with food. The public bathrooms in the hotel were smelly and not functioning properly. Toilets were not flushing and some faucets were spraying water everywhere when washing your hands. Soap dispensers and paper towel holders were empty. There was a big leak on the second floor coming through the ceiling being caught by a very large garbage can at least 50-60 gallons in size. There was also mold growing on the vents in a hallway leading to a bridge that takes you to another building. The building needs some TLC and updates. There is also a security issue. The doors are unlocked all night and there are not cameras on the floors or at a lot of the many doors and exits around the building. For this to be a historic hotel and a place where a historical event took place by a US president staying here and having a speech in the crystal ballroom, as a federal government employee, I was very disappointed in this Hilton brand hotel. Even the meeting rooms looked like they were falling apart. The wall dividers were torn and falling apart at the base of them the crystals in the lighting were old and cloudy needing to be replaced. The beds were completely uncomfortable and some of the pillows were flat. Also the temperature controls in the rooms were pretty bad. Other than that the cleaning crew was awesome. They little older lady at the coffee shop and restaurant was very nice also.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Only came here to check out the JFK tribute outside where he gave his final speech and the photos inside the hotel where he spent his last night. On the second floor of the hotel are a few clusters of photographs of Present John F Kennedy and first lady Jackie Kennedy from their visit to Fort Worth. I also checked out the banquet room where JFK meet with the Chamber of Commerce for Breakfast. There are also more photos on the hallway outside suite 1530 (the room they stayed in) The tribute outside has a bronze sculpture of President Kennedy with photographs and selected quotes from a number of JFK's historic speeches surrounding the sculpture. It looks very cool lit up at night. Very powerful and well taken care of.

Luke T.

Yelp
This road warrior is impressed with this magnificent property. One of the better hotels I have stayed in. Very elegant and functional. Rooms are huge, updated, clean and quiet. Beds are very comfy and you are bound to get a good nites sleep. The shower is the best part of this already awesome room. Shower packs a punch. I was on the 12th floor and even this high up the water pressure was intense. Just blasts away the dirt and what not from the day. The black out curtains are great. They do a fantastic job to make sure the early summer lights don't wake you up before time. Hotel has a Starbucks right inside it, so you can get your coffee fix before you walk out the door. Hotel is also located next to all the restaurants. If you are in Ft Worth, and need a hotel. This is the place to be.

Kyle H.

Yelp
Formerly the Hotel Texas where President Kennedy spent his last night, there's quite a few photographs and placards reminding its guests of this fact. I thought it was interesting to see the old photos of the Hotel Texas with JFK, Jackie and LBJ exiting the hotel. You can still espy the ironwork on the building that held up the Hotel Texas sign. My stay at the Hilton was enjoyable. Service was impeccable. Both concierges were incredibly helpful. "Papa" Mike, who bills himself as a "Journey Ambassador", was especially helpful procuring taxis and maps. There's free Wi-Fi in the main areas of the hotel and in the Starbucks connected to the hotel. Despite an earlier review about being charged for Wi-Fi in the room, that was free as well. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with 42" plasma TV, a desk with dial up internet access, WiFi, a King Size bed, a big couch for chillaxing, and a huge bathroom. I was super impressed, especially since this is an older hotel, that usually spells "bed in a box"! The bar area was nice and open and actually had a good beer and wine selection. The Starbucks blends well with the hotel, but seemed to take a long time with orders both mornings I stopped in. At the hotel Mrs. Texas pageant finalists were parading around (with dutiful husbands in tow) vying for the crown. We missed the swimsuit parade, and I'm sad to report that the hair wasn't nearly as big as one would think, (clap-clap-clap-clap) deep in the heart of (Mrs.) Texas! But it was still entertaining to have around. A super convenient and safe location in Ft. Worth for your next stay "Where the West Begins"!

Brad M.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel, with lots of pictures of JFK's stay! Although the valet ($20/ night) can get you, the rooms are comparable (and even cheaper) than many other downtown hotels! Ruth's Chris is connected to the hotel through the lobby... they have their own wonderful bar and lounge... the waitstaff to take your bags to your room are quick, courteous and oustanding. The rooms themselves are large, clean and immaculate"! While we are Hilton Diamond members anyway, this is one of the better hotels we have stayed at. I normally like the Blackstone Marriott, but they just keep jacking their prices up, and offering horrible service. Hilton Downtown had just earned our business for all of our Sundance Square stays! 5 STARS!

Quyen W.

Yelp
After the mixed reviews, I wanted to add my 2 cents in praise of this hotel. First of all, I rarely will spend more than $150 for a room, so this hotel is about as fancy as I get. I've certainly stayed at $300/night hotels, but just don't find the appeal in being at a resort. I also don't go looking for service, so appreciate it when comes without asking. And I understand when people are busy helping others and don't expect to be first just because. I've stayed at this hotel about six times, averaging 2-4 nights/stay. I am a Hilton Honors member, and appreciate the attention I'm given for this. Service: No complaints. I've always had good, prompt service. Although, I've never ordered room service at any hotel. Cleanliness: Rooms have always been clean. Keep in mind this is an old building. There are plenty of band new hotels if that's your thing. History: JFK had his last night at this hotel. I like how the hotel tells the story. If you don't like JFK or think recalling his last night is morbid, go elsewhere. Location: For me, this is the biggest plus of the hotel. My family likes taking rail when on vacation. The Amtrak station is a 5 minute walk. At the same station you can catch the TRE into downtown Dallas. It's then another 10 minutes right into the heart of downtown Ft Worth. In my book, Hilton Fort Worth is about all I need. A comfortable room, good service the rare times I need it, and quick access to downtown.

Yelp
This hotel got the job done but I just personally overall felt underwhelmed by my experience here. My stay cost me $214 (this was with a Frontline worker discount) for a night there so I just expected a little more. Also as a Hilton Diamond member, after having so many great experiences at Hilton hotels this year, I expected more. The lobby and entryway is gorgeous. The rooms have more of a classic elegant style to them rather than a modern style, so I guess that just has to be your cup of tea. My suggestions for improvement would be acknowledging diamond status upon check in. This is literally why I chose to stay here rather than some of the nicer Marriott hotels in downtown FW! I'm usually offered bottled waters at check in. I just felt that my check in process was very rushed and the girl at the front desk was not friendly. I had already checked in on my Hilton app prior to arrival but still went to the front desk when I got there, because I had 3 guests staying with me so I needed some additional keys and the girl checking me in just made me feel like I was dumb for coming up to check in when I had already done so on my app even though I had 3 other people staying with me. And the girl hardly said more than 2 sentences to me throughout my check in process. With this being my very first interaction with the hotel upon arrival, it just started me out with a bad taste in my mouth. And then a minor improvement would be makeup wipes in the room. I'll be traveling for work for most of 2021 and have been exclusively staying in Hilton hotels to earn my Diamond status. I've thought about trying to work on gaining Marriott or Hyatt status but haven't done so yet as I've felt loyal to the Hilton chain. I'm thinking that after this stay, I will be starting to stay with a different chain.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of staying here from Thursday though Sunday. This hotel is super clean and the staff is really friendly. I stayed in a regular room with one bed and it was really spacious and comfortable. You can walk anywhere from the hotel, it is centrally located. If you need ice, get it for free from the store in the lobby. I'd stay here again.

Yelp
Drove 4.5 hours to get here right at the 3pm checkin only to be told it will be 30 min. Then to be told it will be another hour, maybe. Unreal.

Yelp
First off, the "executive lounge" doesn't exist. The amenities offered like a bath robe for the executive floor also do not exist. The hotel is lacking in so many ways. The Hilton Brand is definitely not here. This is more reflective of the Remington brand. The staff is kind but are obviously disgruntled about management/owners. It seems that this property is existing only on the historic JFK ties. But even in that, the "JFK suite" isn't where JFK slept, it's not even on the same floor that JFK stayed on. The food is not worth the money, don't bother with room service. But be warned, if you do order room service the foreign lady will barge past you and come into your room. It's very awkward. Only plus is a bartender named Chris at the lounge who is very knowledgeable about dinner and breakfast spots nearby.

Yelp
A sweet friend was in town, and I was happily staying the night for the 1st time at this beautiful and historical hotel located in downtown Ft. Worth. This Hilton hotel is significant historically for John F Kennedy's overnight visit on November 21st, 1963, one day before his tragic death in Dallas. Sitting on the southern edge of the Sundance Square entertainment blocks, there are numerous high end steak houses and lounges in the immediate vicinity. The room on the 11th floor was quiet, very clean, well stocked, and furnished in new, modern decor. The overall feel of this facility is a fashionable, classy establishment. So why only 3 stars?? Lack of service in 3 main areas. I call ahead to see what restaurants are in the hotel. The young front attendant informs me there is only a hotel cafe. This is not correct. There is a Starbucks as well as a Ruth Chris Steakhouse on site. Ok. Strike 1. We visit the hotel's cafe for a light lunch. The server was friendly but kept us waiting 10 to 15 minutes on every service connection. And it was a slow late lunch, so really no excuse there. Even the manager jumped in to pull plates and refill our water glasses. Strike 2. All guests are forced to Valet their car's at a hefty $40 a day rate. Ok, I get it, it's downtown, parking is limited, it's extra revenue for the hotel. But service for the valet better be top notch for that $40. But sadly it just isn't. Upon arrival last night, the young female attendant flags me in, like she can't walk 2 steps outside of her standing podium. She scribbled some number down on my valet receipt, but never explained it was the phone extension to call for my car, since it is about a 5 minute retrieval process. Today, I call down for my car, I walk outside to the main curb. There are 3 bored, leaning against the podium kids staring out to space. No one says good afternoon or hello. My car pulls up. And not one of those 3 staff members offers to take my shoulder bag and place it in my car's trunk. And the tall kid who brings my car doesn't adjust my seat back. Good grief. I already had my more than necessary $5 tip out and didn't want to waste more of my time asking for change since my friend covered my valet charge. Strike 3. How can an elegant international hotel brand like Hilton allow such low sad levels of service to exist is beyond belief? I called the on duty manager earlier to share my disappointment on how his staff was behaving. He genuinely appreciated my feedback. Hopefully they will retrain their staff to exceed guests expectations. I really would not recommend this hotel to anyone with these current issues. We all work too hard to have to be faced with over priced accommodations with little to no service. There are other places that offer more bang for your buck.

Yelp
The beds were very soft, the staff appeared nice, and the building looks kinda nice. That's it. Aside from that, that's the only bright side of the entire hotel. Lobby is boring and small with a poorly equipped gym and an overpriced hotel shop. Hop on elevators which appear to be just as old as the building with no renovations. Shaky, rattling, gets unbalanced at the lobby and smells. The room itself has a broken fridge with a terrible thermostat. Worst of all, room service will never come to you. Called for towels many nights to which promises were made, few kept. They never cleaned my room or bare minimum restocked the restroom. I don't understand why a hotel would cost so much for these limited amenities.

Yelp
Room was nice clean and comfortable but felt very "nickled and dimed" with $32/night parking and a $17 breakfast that amounted to less options than the free breakfast at most lower cost hotel/motel chains. Bar drinks were $17 each. Finally the hotel restaurant is a Ruth Chris Steakhouse which is extremely expensive so all in all, Just overpriced for guests already paying for a higher priced room.

Yelp
We've stayed here many many times. Tried to call the front desk multiple times with no answer, tried to get help at the front desk with no one there. Tried 4 times to get towels i a room for 4 where only 2 towels were supplied. Fridge is broken and no solution to that issue either.....

Yelp
They were horrible, took 20-30mins to check-in with zero help and plenty of attitude. The 1 elevator that worked had a line of another 10mins just to get up to your room. However, the beds and shower were nice, the room was just not to a clean standard. The valet guys out front were the worst part. Demanded to take your keys just to drop off bags and then gave a ticket when we weren't doing valet. Charged our room $31 when we didn't even use them. The hotel hasn't been updated since JFK stayed there. Warped furniture, stains on the carpet and absolutely disgusting hotel. Trash everywhere, sticky floors, and about 4 staff for the whole building on weekends. Go stay at a Marriott, thank me later!

Yelp
I am completely dissatisfied with the way my complaint has been handled. I asked to speak with a manager when checking out, and the front desk attendant said the manager was "on break" and was unavailable to speak with me. Twice during our stay, an employee attempted to barge into our hotel room. Both times the person did not knock, nor did they announce who they were and wait for a response before opening the door. Both times, my wife was undressed and luckily we had the latch behind the door set so the individual was unable to come in. A key card was used to open the door both times, so it if wasn't an employee it's an even bigger problem. Both times I put on clothes and opened the door, to see nobody in an adjacent room to suggest housekeeping was working. The first time was Saturday at 5pm and the second was Sunday at 10:30 am; neither are reasonable times for service or near checkout time, and we did not order room service. Either way, for an employee to attempt to enter an occupied room multiple times without knocking is completely unacceptable. After the second time this morning, my wife became concerned that perhaps an employee saw her check in alone yesterday and this was done purposely. We left our room Saturday about 6pm, and saw a male employee around the corner on our floor accessing another room. When I reported this concern this morning, the front desk clerk apologized and offered us some points and a free coffee. Not important enough to get the manager from his break? Absolutely unsatisfactory. I imagine Hilton hotel security is advanced enough to track key card entries by room; we were not seeking a few hundred hotel points, we wanted that addressed immediately as I seriously doubt we are the only ones this has happened to. Hopefully you can do better than write a note on a post-it for the housekeeping supervisor, which was the clerk's response.

Yelp
Pros: 1. Rooms are spacious and ac works 2. Good location Cons: 1. No blankets in rooms- just sheets 2. Room service items are cold that are supposed to be hot and more disturbingly warm when they should be cold 3. Elevators don't work so be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes each time you need to access your floor or carry your luggage down the stairs 4. No luggage scale at the reception desk 5. No ice machines 6. Valet guys are immediately hostile if you choose to self park

Yelp
Biggest pieces of donkey shits to have ever existed in this universe. Set reservations here weeks ago and as I arrive near midnight they state their ventilation system has failed and they are not accepting any reservations. They did not feel obligated to inform us ahead of time but decided to tell us to go to the holiday in as they have secured a room for us. When we arrive to the holiday inn, they informed us they have no rooms available and that the Hilton miss lead several customers to their hotel without confirmation of hotel reservations. A slow painful and brutal death would be a blessing to the entire management staff second to a complete shut down of any operation they over see.

Yelp
Man never mind the diamond member status that we've maintained for several years... of all the Hilton's we've visited around the world I swear this one is just not up to par when it comes to the Hotel breakfast dining... the 4 times in the last year that we've risked giving them another try... each time the staff is rushed and frazzled busy restaurant or not- that never seems to matter and the food is ALWAYS cold. This morning I never got the half & half for my coffee, the food was cold, I asked for flat ware and got a single a fork, had to get up and ask for something . Each time I've wished I would just have just ate breakfast and started my day somewhere else!

Yelp
It's easy to be very happy when your not paying for it! A large and very nice lobby meant it was never crowded even though there were a lot of people here. All of us had newly remodeled rooms that were wonderful. Attending the SCMA conference, we used several of their meeting rooms, all of which were cool and well lit. The steak dinner was very good, but the finger food at the meet and greet was excellent. Three cheers for the stuffed mushrooms and the meat empanadas! They have their own restaurant, but there is a Starbucks and a Ruth Chris steakhouse connected to the lobby. Yes, this place is expensive, but a very good historic place to stay downtown. Oh, no free parking. Valet only, at $25 per night. Just tack it on to that room rate!

Yelp
This hotel has so much character and history, and I wanted to give it 5 stars but it's missing some of the minor details. The original room we checked into was on the executive floor, room 1401. Unfortunately the view and the smell weren't great. We asked to move and the desk staff promtply helped us move to 632 where the view and the smell were very good. If one of the perks you enjoy at Hilton is the Executive Lounge, you'll be a sad to know that it is closed at this location. They will however, comp your breakfast and provide you with $20 vouchers for food and beverage, which is nice. At a full service you expect to have glassware in the room. We found cheap plastic cups and no cups for hot drinks. We called the front desk and requested cups , and she brought us the cups in less than 10 minutes. The breakfast is a buffet and not bad, the coffee is good and the service is also good. Overall, this hotel is good and you'll enjoy the character and history. This is the place JFK slept the night before he was assasinated in Dallas. I'd recommend this hotel if you lI've history.

Yelp
I have a great experience. I'm a heavy business traveler, so I stay everywhere. This hotel is very good. What I Like: - Room was very clean - Bathroom was very clean - Executive Lounge is very nice - Manager was great, greeted me when I checked in and suggested a good happy hour meal at Ruth's Chris What I Didn't Like: - My TV kept losing its signal. It's 2017. TVs should work. - The elevators creak like they are in need of some love. Of course the location is great. The rate I got was what I expected for this level of property in this location. I would stay here again.

Yelp
What a treat! Who knew that this was the place JFK was at, and there is a memorial outside! Nice and quiet! They did mess up our room request, but moved us promptly once we arrived. Breakfast was good and the staff was quite friendly. Tip- get dinner at the Little Red Wasp across the street. What a fun, eclectic little place with outstanding food and service. We were in town for an event at tcu, and it only took about 10 minutes to get there from the Hilton.

Yelp
Bottom Line: A lovely historic hotel in the heart of downtown Fort Worth but that does come with a hefty price tag. I found myself at this particular Hilton due to a whirlwind out-and-back business trip. Aside from being a famous hotel since it's where Kennedy stayed the night before he was assassinated, the building itself is stately and the staff is top notch. Adding to the desirability of this hotel is that it is within walking distance to many restaurants, a few shops and the convention center. The valet and check-in processes were simple and quick which I appreciated after a long day of business meetings and travel. I also greatly appreciated the Starbucks coffee/Starlight lounge voucher I received as being one of their selected "guests of the day" and the enormous room they gave me for an unknown reason. I don't know if it was just coincidence or if the front desk staff looked at me and thought I needed some special treatment but these small perks brought me some comfort on a very tough day. Aside from being large, the room was swanky and comfortable and I found myself melting into the plush king sized bed. The next morning I enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant with very attentive staff and then grabbed my complimentary drink from Starbucks before pushing on to a business meeting. As alluded to above, the hotel atmosphere and staff are worthy of five stars but due to a hefty price tag for Texas standards ($200 for room with tax and fees, $16 for breakfast and $26 for parking) I can't give this hotel a perfect score. However, I would definitely consider staying here again if I traveled to Fort Worth for pleasure.
