We stayed three nights in a room with a king bed. Staff is friendly, hotel public spaces are clean and the room itself is quite spacious. Comfortable bed, no exterior noise, a desk, two chairs and a small table. A closet to hang your clothes but no shelves to put your other clothes on. Internet was blazing fast. The bathroom has a rainshower and is of a decent size. Hot water kettle in the room and a small fridge completed the picture.|Breakfast was fine with fresh fruit, yoghurt, a pancake machine and a waffle maker. Ordering fresh eggs which is usual included in a Hilton Garden Inn breakfast was an extra and had to be paid for. I found that a bit stingy.|Location is fine, just 700 metres from the station or tramstop Belcier. Public transport is of a high qualitiy: clean, very frequent and cheap. Starting a the hotel and walking along the river leads you to many sights.|In front of the hotel there is a large food hall with many restaurants and a Carrefour.

Very clean and bright. But The location is far from tha city centre . Helpful stuff . The breakfast a bit boring while it was the same every day with no variety in sweet snucks. The most catchy is the corner with the diy waffles! The room was modern and clean but cheap construction. The towels weren't good quality for the fame the hotel caries .The bathroom though was very clean and spacious .I had not realized that i wouldn't have an open window but the view at the river rewarded us

If you are travelling to Bordeaux with a train, the hotel is just around 10 minute walk away. It is slightly further away from the city centre, However, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it takes you to the centre in just few minutes. We booked the room with king bed and the room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The shower was great and can’t recommend it enough. The bed was also amazing and very comfortable. There is room service everyday if you would like that also. However, there are few things to mention such as the aircon which didn’t work particularly great. We have put it on the minimum temperature setting which is 19 degrees and the room was definitely not getting cold enough. Additionally, the TV remote at times didn’t work particularly great which isn’t a big issue but something to note.We also had purchased breakfast with our room and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone planning to stay here. Variety of choice and personally one of the few things I always wanted at hotel breakfast was to be able to do my boiled eggs the way I want to have it and you can at this hotel as there is a container with boiling water which you place your eggs in which was pleasantly surprising for me. Another thing I would also mention for breakfast is the waffle machine which also was used everyday of the stay. Staff are friendly and it is very easy to check in. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but just bear in mind the aircon may not be great.

The team at Hilton Garden Inn Bordeaux was exceptional!! They were professional and courteous, kind and especially helpful. My son lost a treasured item, and they went out of their way to find and return it. In particular, Valentina and Justin were amazingly helpful and are wonderful spokespeople for the Hilton brand. The rooms were clean and beautiful. And the breakfast meals were impressive. We had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend a visit!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights through a group agency. Arrival at the hotel took place 16-17 in the afternoon. As we were informed that the room was NOT ready claiming the cleaning services as an excuse. I find it unacceptable to say the least at 4pm the rooms are not ready and they use such excuses. The rooms were clean, spacious, with a fridge and a cafeteria. The breakfast was mediocre, with waffle or pancake baking options and the two cheese options were thick cut pieces. The quality of the coffee was below average (gave me a tummy ache). In contrast to the reception the breakfast staff were terribly helpful. The place where the hotel is located has only 1 bus that takes you to the centre from the top side already (palais de justice) and if you are near the lake you have to walk at least 10 mins. I think the city offers better accommodation options.

We chose a hotel that was close to the river walk, but away from the historical district.||Stayed in the hotel for one night, after a cruise. We arrived at the hotel about 10AM, too soon to access our room. However, the staff allowed us to use the business center until we were able to check in to our room. ||About 3PM, we were given access to our room, a suite on the 8th floor. Great room, good view of the river. Since we had been away from our office for three weeks, we used the time and the free internet to work. ||The room was great, our only issue was a footstool in the hallway. During the night, my wife walked into the stool and hurt her foot. I suggest the stool be moved.||A very good restaurant is attached to the hotel. We had a great dinner!

Loved the roominess and the design of our junior king suite. There is a food court and grocery store next door. Bus stops practically outside the door. Having had hotel breakfast for the last 3 weeks theirs is above average. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is somewhat out of the way but gentrifying. A laundry room on site for someone who has been on the road a bit is great.

Lovely hotel, huge windows over looking the River. In a nice quiet part of the town. The lobby is very comfortable with swinging sofas. The breakfast was continental with some hot options including make your own pancakes and waffles.

Yelp
Stayed here for 4 nights. Pros: - comfy beds. - friendly staff. - decent food at the restaurant and Gayle the bartender was awesome! - a number of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Cons: - zero water pressure in the shower. - the light switch situation was incredibly inconvenient. I've never stayed anywhere where the only 2 options were either right by the door or on the farthest opposite end of the room . Like how about something half way? - very dark overall. No overhead light by the closet which was really inconvenient. - no USB outlets anywhere.

Yelp
The Hilton Garden Inn was a wonderful welcome after a 24 hour plane, train and automobile journey to get to Bordeaux! Comfortable Hilton standards abound with new decor, freshly made and comfortable rooms, soft beds, trendy and tasty restaurant and bar Babette, and professional staff aiming to please. After our journey, truly a welcome home! Our room offered us a view of the Garonne River, just a block away with a modern trendy food court down the street called La Boca, a small Carrefour half a block away for easy market trips - open late, and several food options. The hotel was less than 10 minutes walk from the Gare St. Jean so very convenient for the train. A light rail stop about 5-7 minutes away offered easy access to the Old Town with its quaint restaurants and shops, the iconic historical landmarks such as the Place de la Bourse and Miroir d'eau, Pont de Pierre.... It was a win-win!

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. horrible customer service. they allowed a group of people to rent out the restaurant and turn it into a huge party. they played loud music all night long. the music was on until 2:00 am and the hotel staff did absolutely nothing about it. I called to complain and they said there is nothing they can do nor would the police because they would say speak to the hotel staff. it is absolutely ridiculous if you are on travel for work and have to get up early for meetings. Do not stay here if you want to get sleep.

Yelp
This is definitely a top tier hotel. It's clean, it's big with lots of small amenities like the usual shampoo, lotion, conditioner, body wash, soap and even shower cap and other ones you probably brought. I think this is great for business people but for vacationers with a bit more money to spend, it's a good place to go. Since I booked via hotels.com,i felt a bit mislead about parking here because it for sure, isn't free and despite it being self, there's a limit of only 17 spots in which you need to reserve ahead of time (it wasn't advertised as this). Despite that, there are street parking which you'll need to start paying at around 9am at about 2€/hr or at least that's what we're paying.

Yelp
I'm a Hilton Honors Gold member, so I frequently stay at Hilton properties all over. This is by far the nicest Garden Inn I've ever stayed it. It's even nicer than some Hiltons I've stayed at. We were given an upgrade for being Gold upon checking in. Our room had lovely views of the river. The bed was so comfortable. I felt like I just melted into the linens. The bathroom was huge for European standards. I was pleasantly surprised. Housekeeping did an excellent job at cleaning the room. Our floor (8th floor) seemed pretty quiet. I never heard anyone or anything while in our room. The location is excellent. It is a less than 10 minute walk from the train station. There is limited parking at the hotel if you arrive by car. It was super easy to get an Uber from the hotel. I was able to always get one within 5 minutes. The food hall next door is awesome. We enjoyed walking 10 steps from the lobby of the hotel into the food hall for some food and beer. The breakfast in the hotel was the best breakfast buffet I've ever seen a Garden Inn offer. There was something for everyone: meats and cheeses, croissants, chocoltines, baguettes, eggs, sautéed vegetables, sausage, yogurt, fruit. The breakfast was included with my Hilton Honors status, but I would have gladly paid for it if it wasn't included. It was definitely worth it the money. The staff working the breakfast were very nice! I would stay here again without any hesitation. Hopefully I will be back to Bordeaux sometime in my lifetime!
