A very conveniently placed hotel in the Old town. Very nice and welcoming reception area with sport TV and bar area. It's immediately evident that it's a quality hotel on entering. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, with modern shower/toilet room. My only few issues were this:- Firstly, the breakfast I found, did not set a person off on the right foot for the day mood wise. The food and variety is great, but the area is too small and once busy is hectic and annoying. Some folk were ignorant, pushing in or even going in no particular order or against what order there was. I encountered very rude individuals. It would be much better if a direction of movement was implemented and if there was more room. I didn't find it nice or relaxing at all. Secondly, if outside waiting for a taxi or smoking, the amount of individuals hassling guests for food, money or cigarettes is annoying. If both these points were addressed it would make it a 5 star pleasure to stay here. The lack of channel choice...mainly no availability of Netflix.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of old town. Well located near transport hubs and also 5 mins walk to the meeting point for several excursions (such as pick up for trip to peles castle/therme spa and walking tours). Hotel rooms were spacious, exceptionally clean and staff were attentive and gave plenty of water bottle refills and towels /robes when needed. Breakfast was tasty and the staff kindly packed us a breakfast when we had an early start one morning (pre breakfast opening). Would 100% recommend and would stay again. Fantastic hotel.

Ignore the reviews claiming it’s a noisy area, it couldn’t be further from the truth! Next door is the Bank, police are constantly monitoring it and it’s super safe and quiet, lots of cars and Ubers pass by but we didn’t hear any loud music in our room and we were on the front and on the fourth floor. If you want music and clubs they are a brief walk up in to old town along with some fantastic restaurants. The team at the Hilton Garden Inn are great, super quick check inn, rooms perfect and just what you expect from a Hilton. Easy central location, great historic buildings surround the Hilton and some fantastic restaurants and bars close by. We did four nights, loved every minute and highly recommend to anyone travelling to Bucharest.

Great location - within 10-15 mins walking distance from most of the main sites. There’s also a metro station about 4 mins walk for visiting the other sites. It’s also a 4 mins walk to the meeting points for most tours. Hotel room - double bed was actually a double bed! :) Not two singles put together. Good amenities provided such as disposable slippers, shower gel, separate shampoo and conditioner, hand gel, body cream, face towels. Surprisingly no bathrobe was provided given the Hilton name but still a good hotel room overall. Cleanliness - generally clean but have knocked 1 star off because a couple of the towels had other people’s hair on them when I arrived. However these were replaced with clean ones during room cleaning. Staff - good level of spoken English and understanding. Most of the staff were friendly. They were able to accommodate my request for a quiet room. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its convenient location.

The hotel is great. Fantastic location, great staff, good breakfast with many options including Gluten Free.|Rooms are quite big.|Daniel Cosmin from the reception desk was awesome, friendly and provided very good service.|I think that the only thing that need to be improved is the waters at the showers.|The water is not warm enough. Max temp is 40 degrees in the cold and rainy days you are looking for warmer waters.

Our stay at the Hilton Bucharest was absolutely wonderful! The cleanliness is at the highest level – everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. We received a huge room with an amazing view of the city – such a pleasure to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was delicious and varied, but above all – the service was exceptional! Yesterday me and a guest of this place entered the lobby restaurant and sat at a table to finalize the business deal. The restaurant was empty and there was not even light on. I asked the waitress that we need 1 minute to quietly talk, we didn't need to make any orders. She understood and let us sit there. Then out of nowhere some man in a grey sweater ran to us and started yelling at us that we need to urgently leave and he was just yelling "GO! GO!" like we were some garbage or something. I quietly asked that we need one minute but he kept yelling at us. It was a total shame! I will never recommend anyone staying there any more though I did recommend this place many times before to my business partners because of the location. And the guy in a grey sweater, I don't know who you are - as you didn't even speak English - you should not work in hospitality places never in your life! I hope you will get into such situation somewhere soon too, so you will feel how you treat people! Maybe a management of this place also should know that you have absolutely incompetent people working for you!
