(John) I had not planned to give this hotel a five-star review. However, because of our wonderful waiter, John, I feel it truly deserves it. The hotel itself is good, although it is located on a less appealing street. What really made my stay special was John, who served us during the evening. He made the entire experience so much better. He was one of the best waiters i have ever meet. If you happen to be passing by, I would absolutely recommend stopping here, if only to experience the excellent service that I received.

I chose this hotel for its wonderful proximity to the main station and the opera. The local area is well connected for walking or travelling around the city. During the day it is quite quiet with a few local stores and bars. In the evening it is a lot more 'colourful' with some adult venues and clubs around so there are a lot more people on the street. It felt safe though. ||The hotel is typical of the Hilton chain. Pleasant staff, clean, well organised, modern. The rooms are a good size, of a standard we have come to expect. Comfortable bed, nice towels and toiletries, decent furniture. ||What makes Hilton good value is the breakfast. Always an excellent choice, pleasant atmosphere, plenty of space and nice staff. ||Overall very good value for money. Great location. Easy.

The hotel's location is convenient for the office area, making it a good choice for business travelers. However, being near the main train station can feel a bit unsettling at times. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent breakfast—the scrambled eggs were particularly satisfying.I was also highly impressed by the night receptionist on Monday, February 24, 2025. He was polite, efficient, and incredibly helpful. It’s been a long time since I’ve encountered such a customer-oriented and passionate hotelier, and his outstanding service truly made a difference in my stay.

I have mixed feelings about this stay. ||Generally, everything started off really well. I arrived around 10:00 AM and was pleased to find a room ready. As a Diamond member, I was offered an early check-in for €50 instead of the standard €100. Being tired after my journey, I accepted it without hesitation—while a complimentary check-in would have been preferred, the discount was a fair compromise.||The room was spacious and cozy. I did notice some stained bedding upon arrival, but after reporting it, housekeeping handled the situation perfectly, and I had fresh linens within 30-40 minutes. Breakfast was also well-organized with a good variety of options, and the hotel generally feels well-maintained.||The location is a place of contrasts. On one hand, being next to the train station is incredibly convenient for logistics. On the other hand, the immediate area attracts a rough crowd and "nightlife" in the worst sense of the word. However, just a 10-minute walk takes you to the beautiful side of Frankfurt with spacious avenues, parks, the river, and skyline views, which compensates for the gritty surroundings. Be aware of this trade-off.||This review would have ended here with a solid rating, were it not for a ridiculous situation I witnessed.||While I was checking out, I overheard a receptionist offering a "promotion" for check-in to another guest. I will skip the nonsense she was saying about status—the issue was that it was past 3:00 PM. That is standard check-in time! Trying to sell a free, standard service as a paid "perk" is completely unacceptable.||It is a shame because the staff—from the gentleman cleaning my room to the lady managing breakfast—are doing their best. However, such shady practices at the reception destroy the entire experience and the hotel's image. Because of this lack of integrity, I will not be returning. ||I generally don’t escalate such things, but I will be reporting this incident to Hilton corporate.

Walking from the train station to the hotel, one walks through a rather seedy area. Desk agent suggested using 1 street over: vast difference. I arrived to a welcoming hotel and helpful check-in. My room was large with a queen beds and superb Hilton pillows and linens. Bathroom was large with a big shower. Wifi was superb and electric outlets were plentiful.

This Hilton Garden Inn is my favorite place to stay when I visit Frankfurt. I’ve stayed in a few other hotels in this area throughout the years; and none of them can compare to this Hilton. As soon as you go in, the lobby is beautiful and the Reception Desk staff are always friendly and courteous. Having a parking garage on site is such a great convenience, for most of the other hotels in this part of the city; you are going to have to find someplace to park; and it’s not always going to be easy find a spot. However, parking in this Hilton’s safe and secure parking garage puts you a few steps from an elevator that takes you right to your room’s floor. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained. I stayed in one of the King Superior Rooms, it had a great view of the city and I was surprised when I found that in addition to the room’s curtains; the large angled windows also had a motorized outside window shade that completely blocked the city lights out of the room when I’d go to bed for the night. I don’t think the pictures that Hilton has posted on the website do the room justice. They looked small in the picture but were much larger in person. The breakfast they put out every morning is, by far, the best I’ve ever had at any Hilton I’ve stayed at. They do a great job at providing a European style breakfast while still also offering a world-class American style breakfast. They offered both scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, a self service waffle maker and the best item (that I’d wait for if they temporarily ran out of) was the French toast. Normally a Hilton’s coffee choice is regular or decaf….. this Hilton has two coffee machines that will make any type of coffee you can think of. The bar and restaurant in the lobby are also remarkable. I stayed at the hotel for a week this time, and I had to tell myself I needed to go out and try something at one of the other local restaurants because I kept eating all of my dinners in the hotel; but they had such great choices and the bar staff (that also act as the waiters for the restaurant) were so friendly that it seemed a waste to walk a few blocks away to have dinner. Overall, I am satisfied with my stay and look forward to the next time I can make it back to Frankfurt.

The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional throughout our entire stay. We got to safely store our baggage at the hotel after checkout and they can book you a cab at the desk! Very comfortable and clean rooms, with a good shower. The only small downside is the location, right next to some of the more dodgy streets & neighbourhoods in Frankfurt. But as soon as you step foot in the hotel you feel safe and welcome.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my family and it was honestly a nightmare. On the third night, a mouse ran across our room. I actually had to catch and kill it myself because my family was panicking. I gave it to the staff in a bag, and they promised it was a one-off thing and would be cleaned.|Then, on the last night, IT HAPPENED AGAIN. Another mouse ran right past us and hid in the sliding door track. It seems like there is a nest in the walls or the door frames on the ground floor.|When I complained, the management basically did nothing. They just moved us to a different floor for the last night and later sent an email saying they can’t refund me because I booked through Booking.com. It’s a total health hazard and they are just using excuses to keep my money. If you are traveling with kids, stay away from the ground floor rooms here. Very disappointing for a Hilton.

Yelp
I travel extensively, and this Hilton Garden Inn hotel and restaurant ranks in the top 10% or better. It is a completely new level when compared to Hilton Garden Inn's in the US. There is a top shelf onsite restaurant and room service (see menu pictures). The staff is wonderful as well, and everyone spoke English as well as German. The rooms are quite nice, and include a refrigerator and safe. Next to the front desk, there is a Pantry with snacks, etc for purchase and an ice machine and microwave, which is nice for leftover takeaway. The decor and amenities are easily on par with a full service Hilton. The location is close to shops and attractions. I booked a Viator Rhine river day tour and the pick up points was less than a 10 minute walk away. I was most impressed with my dinner at the Garden Grille restaurant. I typically will search out a non-hotel restaurant for dinner. However, after looking at the menu (see pictures), I chose to dine in. I ordered the mixed fish grill. It had tuna, salmon, shrimp, mixed grill vegetables, and assorted breads and olives. Everything.was perfect. This will now be my go-to hotel in Frankfurt.

Yelp
I absolutely enjoyed my short stay here, despite of the location which has its pros and cons. Pros: Complimentary upgrade even though I was using points for my stay. Located near the main train station. Convenient store on the corner. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Room was super clean and comfortable. Cons: Crackheads everywhere. Borders the red light district (take the main street "Taunusstraße" which is where all the businesses are. Avoid the side street to avoid the riff-raff.

Yelp
Talk about exceeding standards! Our server Eddie took immaculate care of us. He took the time to describe and detail the regions where our champagne and food was from. He was extremely knowledgeable on every dish and drink that was ordered. Their menu have a great variety of food and from what our party of five ordered, everyone was impressed. If you're staying here or looking for a place to eat nearby this is the spot! Overall the experience was 10/10. Service was wonderful, food was delicious, atmosphere was relaxed but classy. I most certainly recommend it!

Yelp
Staff was extremely rude and unapologetic. GM was giving me a different story full of lies with no apology. Not happy at all with my experience. Do not recommend.

Yelp
The property is about 6 blocks from the main train station and on the edge of what seems to be a "gentrifying" area. In those 6 blocks between the hotel and the train station I saw a drug deal go down, addicts looking in the cracks of the street with sticks for drugs, rampant homelessness and a LOT of human feces. The bars around the hotel are shady too. The hotel is literally on the first good block. It's a new hotel so everything is super modern, clean and new. The rooms are great and the staff is fine. It'd be a four star review but the location is just...bad. I'm sure it'll be better as time goes on but I would not feel comfortable telling any of my single female friends to stay there.

Yelp
Very new location, not in a very nice area though. But not terrible. Clean rooms, friendly staff and they have a nice little bar near the front desk. Never made it down for breakfast but I was told it was decent. They could possibly see about setting up more cabs in the morning for guests needing to get to the Messe as that was a little confusing. Overall good and I will likely stay here again next year.

Yelp
It's not very far from a lot of the malls and shopping strips but the streets in between aren't the best. There's a lot of people asking for money and doing drugs. Streets smell like feces and piss. As far as the service goes, We had ordered breakfast (buffet was closed for safety reasons) and they "lost" our original order so we had to make a whole new order and we waited an hour an a half before we saw any of our food. We spoke to the front desk about this incident and they gave us a bunch of attitude because they had found our original order and claimed it was never lost. As far as the room goes it was clean and everything looked almost new.

Yelp
As I pulled up my taxi driver was saying that he didn't believe that there was a hotel on this block and was surprised to find it, so it's brand new. The property is in excellent condition, the workers are all newly employed perhaps so they are very friendly and happy. The restaurant is very clean and the breakfast buffet has a very large variety of hot and cold options, all freshly prepared. There are automatic espresso machines at breakfast the have about 10 varieties of coffee drinks, all fresh ground beans. The fitness center is also brand new of course and while it could use an extra weight bench and attachments for the weight machine, the cardio machines are in great condition and they also have a Concept2 rowing machine which is unusual for a hotel gym. My top floor room was very spacious (and again, clean!). The bathroom has both a rain shower and a handheld head you can switch between, as well as a towel heater. Get it new while you can!
