Great experience here. Zabrina at check in was very polite and courteous. And throught may stay checked in with me to see how my experience was and of I needed anything.|The hotel itself, I got an oceanfront room. Going on the balcony at dawn and watching the sunrise over the Atltantic is breathtaking. And at the Aviator Tavern in the hotel, the bartender Martin is excellent. Friendly and attentive, and good drinks too. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit this area.

We had the absolute best experience thanks to our waitress, Bojana. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with such warmth and friendliness that instantly made us feel welcome. Her service was attentive without being overbearing, and she anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask.||Bojana went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable—she was professional, kind, and truly made us feel cared for. I can honestly say this was the best service I’ve ever had, and it completely elevated our dining experience.||If you’re staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, do yourself a favor and stop by the café—you’ll be lucky if Bojana is your server!

The room and service was great. Wallace at the front desk was extremely helpful whenever I had any questions. Martin at the bar was fantastic in not only managing almost the entire restaurant on his own but also adjusting our drinks when he overheard us mentioning the cocktails are usually too sweet. Both went above and beyond, and we really appreciated it.

Overpriced for the location alone because this property is certainly the lowest quality Hilton I've ever seen. The smell of mildew in the hallways alone is so overbearing I needed my inhaler. Mold along the wall in the bathtub, absolutely zero water pressure in the shower - this frustrated me so much I had to resort to sponge bathing standing up in a few inches of water in the tub, forget trying to wash your hair in the shower so I used the sink. The lobby is the only nice part. My kids enjoyed the fish. The pools are small, beds uncomfortable, rooms very small, but the view was nice. Awful whistling coming through the balcony door despite it being shut and locked. All of the chairs on the balcony were covered in spiders, which is expected, I guess being outside and all, but it all felt rundown. Speaking of rundown, you can definitely tell everywhere in the room and hallways have received the quick "landlord special" with shoddy paint jobs and caulk everywhere. Their advertised breakfast buffet doesn't exist. Overall, not worth the price point and we will not be back. We did, however, enjoy the beach and all of the hotel staff were friendly. I'm just appalled that this has Hilton name.

Location and oceanfront balcony was the perks. Clean hotel. But housekeeping wasn’t very good. In a 5 day stay we had to repeatedly ask for towels and wash clothes for our family of 4, they would only give 2 or 3 at a time. And they only replaced toilet paper once, we finally went out and bought our own and then used beach towels because we got tired of asking. For how expensive this is that shouldn’t happen. We did like their breakfast, and could rent a umbrella and chair and the people working that area was always nice. We got a mix drink at their bar outside and that staff was nice as well.

We had the best time this weekend! We do an annual girls trip and our family also uses this hotel. Shawn did an amazing job Saturday at the poolside tiki bar. Even though it was so busy, he never stopped. He kept the line moving. The drinks were delicious and he was so nice! Zabrina was so helpful at the front desk anytime someone needed something including when we left ice packs in the room’s freezer after checkout. We used our daily credit and the general store. This hotel is so convenient being oceanfront and really great rooms. Easy to get to Duck or further into Nags Head. Close to Black Pelican restaurant. Gorgeous views from the side view balcony. The whole hotel renovation looks beautiful! Can’t wait to be back again soon!

This hotel is in a great location. It's walkable to restaurants, a nice coffee shop, and the beach. My family stayed there last week, and overall, we had an okay experience. We wouldn't stay there again. Here's why: * The hotel hallways smell strongly of mildew. * Our hotel room A/C unit leaked. * The outdoor pool water was murky. I couldn't see the bottom of the pool, which made me question how clean it was. * The indoor pool's surrounding area had standing water. The floor didn't drain well. * The hotel was constantly out of pool towels. If you stay here, I recommend bringing your own towels. * Although they advertise rooms sleeping five people, they don't have anything in the room for the fifth person. It was just two queen beds. * The individuals at the front desk appeared to be miserable. I didn't see one of them smile my entire stay. The entire experience wasn't awful. The room was clean, the indoor hot tub was a perk, and the restaurant on-site was convenient. The mildew smell in the hallways will keep us from making a return stay.

We had a WONDERFUL stay! The hotel was clean, the amenities were great, the staff was friendly and attentive. The location is perfect. The only negative thing was we only had maid service one time during our week long stay. That’s too long to go without refreshing towels and coffee and such. We brought our dog with us and the hotel was amazing to him. Overall it was a great stay.
