Stayed here 2 nights. It is located in a very nice area of Reno, right off the freeway. Tyler, who checked me in at the front desk was fabulous! He was welcoming, very friendly and knowledgeable. Some of the other front desk staff were less friendly, but I did not catch their names. Room was very clean, not too noisy, and was quite comfortable. The food downstairs was expensive, so did not partake.

I moved from CA to NV and stayed here twice for extended stays. Never ever get a room on the 1st floor by the elevators. You will not get any rest and bring earplugs as at 8am the staff enters this hallway via the back door and the noise begins. Doors slamming people talking loud and even the house musiac can be heard in the late hours! I recommend only for upper floors. We've stayed a month and only recommend this hotel for maybe a one night stay at the most. The nice part is there are places to eat, get gas and groceries close by. The food is expensive so bring your own. Wish I could leave a better review but as I write this, there are people in the hallway talking and that's all I can hear! As a courtesy the hotel should post a flyer by the elevators that there are people in the rooms adjacent so please be considerate. Maybe thay would help the people who stand there waiting for the elevator to keep it down. 🤷🏻‍♀️ OH and don't expect much from the cable TV when it's working!

Great select service casual hotel. Really clean and modern rooms. First hotel I have ever seen that has liquid hand soap on the wall, why is this not a thing everywhere! Hannah gave excellent service on check in. Gym has a great selection of weights but only one bench and the rest of the space has cardio machines. Would love to see a wall mounted pull up bar maybe to round it out.

Kudos to Tyler at the front desk who greeted me with a very warm welcome. It has been rare lately that I have heard the Hilton welcome script but it made a huge difference. He recognized Diamond members and asked what we needed. We got a room at a higher floor with a view and 1 pm checkout as my husband has a zoom meeting that ends at 1230. |Clean rooms. In house restaurant and bar where you can use your FB credit although limited option if togo. Breakfast buffet is $19.99. Maria at the dining was helpful too.

I had an incredible stay! At the front desk, Tyler is incredible. His kindness and resourcefulness made my trip. Thanks Tyler! The rooms were large, comfortable, and clean.

Tyler, Tyler, Tyler! Your phenomenal service, great kindness and total professionalism is what every traveler hopes to experience when entering a Hilton. Thank you for making this stay more than just a place to rest but a place where I felt welcomed and appreciated. Someone please give this young man a promotion that includes a raise because he has done Hilton well and not all heros wear capes! God bless you, Mrs Graves -Visitor from Phoenix Oh, for potential guests, the rooms are clean, nice location, reasonably priced and add a bonus to Tyler’s great service!

Don’t ignore the bad reviews. This hotel is incredibly noisy and has uncomfortable beds. I had empty soap bottles in the shower. The hotel itself is so noisy I thought there had to be a train nearby. There isn’t. Not to mention the surprise parking fees, lack of breakfast, and overall datedness of the establishment. I’m so disappointed in my stay.

Google
We had a great experience from the time we checked in at the front desk. Caroline (front desk agent) is very friendly and accommodating. The room we had stayed in is very clean and relaxing. Overall, this hotel is a great choice not only because of its nice location from downtown Reno, but also their employees are very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Fair Warning, don't stay here it's not safe and the staff and management just don't get it's about pleasing the customers and watching out for the property. Here is my story and my review; I recently stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn in Reno NV on Double R Blvd. As a long-time Hilton Honors member. I specifically chose Hilton for what I viewed as the consistent quality of their properties and recognition of Honor Members. Unfortunately like many things in the last few years, this is changed. I am sure if you travel regularly, you look for a clean functional room that has a comfortable bed and possibly a spot to do some work. The hotel room was for the most part comfortable and met most expectations except the outlet at the desk did not work. What I did notice was that the room was not serviced or cleaned once over the five days that I stayed at the Hotel. I believe this started during the pandemic shutdown and they just continued the practice. On the morning of the last day, I left the room at 8:30 after doing a bit of work. As I walked to my vehicle, I felt sick to see my vehicle had been broken into. The side window smashed and the tailgate down. On further investigation, they had stolen the valuable content I had in the locked bed that had a locking bed cover. As a Safety professional, part of my job is risk and security management. When I left the truck, I emptied the interior of visible items. I had an aluminum locking bed cover and as mentioned the gate was locked. I parked as close as possible the the front entrance. This Hilton Garden Inn did not have security cameras or roving security guards. When I notified the front desk and manager the response was extremely disappointing. "Oh, you too?" Me, "What does that mean?" Well, other trucks were broken into." If there is anything we can do?" Me, "Yes I want to see the camera footage!" Manager, "Well, we don't have security cameras, but we are thinking about getting them." Then they proceeded to give me a copy of the bill which included charging me for parking. Further; How could the night staff not hear the car alarms going off? Were they sleeping on the job? Once the first guest notified Hotel Management that their vehicle was broken into they should have investigated to see if any other cars were affected. They also failed to call me to let me know my truck was one of those vehicles broken into. What is the purpose of putting a form on the dashboard with your name and room number if they never check them? I will never stay there again! I frequently travel for work and now will be looking at staying at Marriott over Hilton. As an Honors member, this is so disappointing. As a society, do we just continue to accept the lawlessness of individuals who continue to steal because there are no negative consequences? This will personally impact the cost of insurance. I was told by my agent that several insurance companies are pulling out of Nevada and California. This will affect all homeowners and businesses in these states and others as the cost continues to rise as thefts continue to rise. Our government is not effective at controlling this problem. So, what is the answer? #Hilton #hiltonhonors #renonv #fordmotorcompany #fordtrucks #riskmanagement #securitymanagement #hiltongardeninn

Yelp
Travel through for a weekend and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel staff was friendly during our stay. Check in process was smooth. There is breakfast at a cost available. The room was clean but rather cold despite adjusting the thermostat. Luckily there is an extra blanket in the room. I appreciated this hotel because it is very pet friendly at an extra cost. There is a dog bowl of water when you enter in the front door, which is nice for Reno's summer hot days. There's also a pool for humans too cool off. Around the hotel is a place for your pup to take care of business. Walking distance from the hotel is a lake in the back that is a great distance to take your pup for a walk with plenty of birdwatching (geese, ducks, other birds).

Yelp
It's was ok I'd say 3.75 rating. Room was clean. Staff was a little odd and unwelcoming. Beds and pillows were very comfy.

Yelp
Stayed from 26th to 28th december. Pathetic and DIgusting attitude from the staff. We were in the lobby around 8PM-9PM and my kids were running in the lobby, playing there, exploring the common areas and to my surprize one of the staff member "Eduardo", told me that it is common sense to tell your kids not to run/roam around. I replied that expecting a 3 year old kid not to run/roam around and sit quietly is actually not common sense (right there he made a fool out of himself). I was not pissed off or something however, I felt bad for Eduardo, the reason being that he might have got a wrong or abusive upbringing and he is just venting it out OR the hotel owner might be exploiting him, really not sure. God please forgive him and help the poor guy!! Oh btw, we rented 3 rooms with our friends, and one my friend's car got vandalized in their PAID parking with NO camera or security system. Filed the police report as well. Wallets/cash, etc were STOLEN.

Yelp
Give this hotel a pass. I'm writing this review while waiting for the fresh coffee that was "coming right out" 20 minutes ago. The main "all day specialty coffee" machine is broken, or has never been hooked up, depending on who you ask. They advertise a free continental breakfast for gold members then tell you in the morning that they don't offer a continental breakfast, only a 3-item buffet for $20. They can't decide if parking in the empty lot is $7 or $8 per night. They only clean every other day and don't bring in the cleaning staff on off days so... hope you don't need anything. Clearly a lot of hotels have been left deep in harvest mode post COVID and this is one of them. Hilton does luxury hotels and Hampton Inns fairly well. Anything in between, especially franchises, no longer offer any value. Just stay in the Casino.

Yelp
Efren at the bar served excellence! Great spot to unwind and relax. Thanks for a wonderful evening !

Yelp
Wow, I must be too emotional now since I'm tearing up thinking about this. Hours ago we were evacuated by the sheriff's door to door sweep for a rapidly spreading wildfire a few miles away. After stuffing a few things into bags we drove out of the area looking for a place to stay. We couldn't get rooms on apps and decided to just pull into one and check. At the Hilton we were asked us if we were evacuees and were offered a highly discounted rate (along with breakfast.). The hotel and travel apps were asking quadruple the price throughout the area. We were lucky to get the last room and I was so grateful. Later I went down to the lobby and they had brought in food free of charge to help the locals stranded here. What an unexpected and beautiful gesture of support. I'm still have tears of gratitude for the general manager who heard of the situation and jumped to action to support the community.

Yelp
So, we stayed at this hotel for a week. It was ok, until the previous 3 nights. The airlines misplaced my luggage and I went to the airport to pick it up w days after I arrived in Reno. When I retired to the hotel, the elevators were out/INOP. I had to carry my luggage to the 5 floor to my room. The next evening, when we returned from dinner, the elevator was out again. I spoke to the manager the next morning. I told him we should be compensated for the hard ship. He was not helpful in the least. Because this was a business trip, he was not willing to do anything but offer 3000 points. I asked if that was the best he could do? He replies with 3000 points is about $30. Ok, fine. I also asked for towels to be replaced in the room. Upon my return, nothing was provided. No towels. The next evening after dinner, we returned to the hotel and the elevators were not working again. I will see the mgr in the am.

Yelp
Overall- I highly recommend staying here. Rooms are very cozy & the location is in a perfect spot! Pet friendly, & clean. Full Details- Stayed here for a full weekend Fri-Mon. I will start by saying we have never, in all of our hotel adventures, slept SO GOOD!! The bed was AMAZING! The pillows were so comfy we wanted to take them with us when we left! The room also has a high quality pull down curtain to block out sunlight and wow it makes such a difference in the morning. The space in the room is great, plenty room for activities or if you have kids. The hotel is also pet friendly (must get pet friendly room of course) The cleanliness of the rooms, and the entire hotel itself was great! We watched them mop the lobby several times actually, it smelt amazing and looked very nice. The snack shop was always fully stocked and made it easy to run down and grab a quick drink or snack at any time. We came down for breakfast all 3 mornings and Byron was our server. I cannot stress enough how sweet this man was!! As we sat at the bar and ate, we watched him welcome and offer his assistance to every person who came by. Even if they were just grabbing coffee, he made sure to show them where the creamer was and tell them the flavors. He was such a sweetheart, even to the people who hadn't fully woken up yet and were snippy with him, he didn't flinch, he kept on helping any way he could & I just wanted to hug him. It's hard to find great service sometimes and I just hope he knows how well he is doing. We looked forward to coming down for breakfast just to see him! The front desk was a bit overwhelmed Sunday as there was only one girl working. She had a bit of a rush as she was working on checking us in for an additional day, and I mean this girl handled it great! Answering the phone in between people, checking rooms in and out, making sure we knew what she was doing as she was doing it. She did a great job. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here again, the next time we're in town!

Yelp
Horrible stay. Zero staff. And what they did have didn't speak English. We had a clogged tub and when we told the front desk all she could respond with was "you want to extend your stay?" Said it over and over. Continental breakfast cost $10. Never have I ever paid for a continental. We stayed at this hotel because with friends we had several different rooms and saw there was a bar/restaurant. Both were closed due to no staff. Bad experience. Especially for the price.

Julie R.

Yelp
We have been staying here for years. It's nice to get away from the downtown area. Much to our surprise, we were charged $8 a day for parking! Reno is not New York or Chicago and is not big to support charging for parking. Consumers are getting hit extra in the pocket everywhere we go. I think this is really low for the Hilton chain to charge for parking at this location. We will never stay there again!

A A.

Yelp
Stayed one night here, easy to access if you are in Reno! Shout out to Byron who does breakfast service for being friendly and helpful. Nice staff & ambiance.

Yelp
Totally did a fantastic job of helping us check in early. With the storm a few weeks ago everything was closed so we ended up staying an extra five days. The hotel we were staying at before ended at 11 am and after booking at 12 pm we were able to check in around 1 pm. The front desk was able to find our hotels.com reservation and swing it over to the early check in. The staff and front desk could not be nicer. Room was clean and there are plenty of places to DoorDash and eat in the area. Also a gas station nearby. Mask situation is awkward- we wore ours most people did not. Proceed with caution

Yelp
What a bad place to work for. Brad and Leo are the worst hypocrite people that uses themselves to blame one another to tell their employees all the Bull crap. They are both stealing time from all the employees and when the employees find out, they retaliate against them by giving them a total different schedule that they know it wont work for them or just take all their hours by not scheduling them for their entire week. They get 1 to 2 days of work. They abuse over their power because till this point no one haven't had the guts to say something because all of them might be undocumented. But lots of this are adding up and they eventually will get their share.

Yelp
We stayed here passing through for one night. A bed to sleep on. The hotel is next to a ton of food options, gas and a grocery store. I was super annoyed I couldn't use my digital key. I called and the front desk and the woman said my room was ready yet I still couldn't use my key. She said sometimes it takes awhile. Then I walked inside and said I'm here to check in cause I can't use my digital key... she said someone was inspecting the room? Annoying. During these covid times (and not covid times to be honest) I prefer contactless check in and out! So yeah, that was annoying. Our room was nice but we had a very unpleasant neighbor who was up all $&@!?$& night SLAMMING the door. Like I said. Ok to to stay at if you're passing through and just need to crash. Also they allow pets. With a $50 fee. Even if you are there for only 12 hours.

Yelp
After driving back to Reno from San Francisco I must say this is the best hotel I stayed at by far. Upon checking in the gentleman running the desk was amazing. He welcomed me & thanked me for being a loyal Diamond member. He upgraded my room to a 1 King w/ food & drinks as well as informed me about the breakfast & dinner. After a lovely checkin I headed to room 524 which feature 1 king bed as well as snacks & drinks in the fridge (something I never seen and a bonus all FREEEE!!!). The room was perfect for a 1 night stay. I highly recommend the Hilton garden inn & will return in the near future

Yelp
The hotel itself was ok, nothing great, and nothing particularly bad. The bar was fun, and I probably shouldn't have drunk that much. But the bartender kept the party going, so it was fun. Breakfast was very good. No complaints with the 3 egg omelette. It was pretty good.

Emma T.

Yelp
We arrived Tuesday the rooms are decent. They charge 19.50 per person for continental breakfast per person not mention when making reservations. Jacuzzi broken and Jon curry mentioned not going to get fixed any time soon. The next morning Wednesday. We went for breakfast T 9:00 am. Came back at 10:00 am. Spoke with front desk about not cleaning room. Was told you have to call night before to have room cleaned. Spoke to Leo manager and said room would be cleaned. Left at 10:30. Came back at 5:30. Room was not cleaned. Spoke with Jon curry and all he did was make excuses for Covid. So disappointing. Be aware of this Hilton.

Yelp
3/5 Awful customer service from the start of checking in. Our room was given away, booked for King and were given double queens. Asked for reimbursement or adjustment and just by asking seemed as such an inconvenience to the receptionist. Was told the adjustment was "only $10, does it need to be done?". Will not be booking here again! The receptionist simply could not make the moment right. - Cleanliness int and ext of hotel are why I've given it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Trisha I.

Yelp
Check in was fast accommodating and very friendly. Had an issue with the temperature in my room. Maintenance technician Zeke was at the room within 5 mins and able to fix it quickly. Really appreciate the customer service and friendly nature of the staff. Thank you for taking care of me during my stay.

Yelp
Solo work trip booked king bed with whirlpool bathtub. Check in at 3:30pm that room is not available, she said she has a 2 queen bed room. I ask well at least with the whirlpool. Walk into the room - regular bathtub. Hot tub by the pool is just warm not hot and no jets. Did not accept my federal tax exempt form, she said it was a reno rule, hmmm I've stayed in Reno Many times and it's worked every time. No Breakfast available just over priced snack bar.. She was nice, room was clean Just bummed out!!!

Yelp
As advertised & as cookie cutter a Hilton could be. Safe, comfortable stay with helpful staff. Our hockey team was loud & somewhat demanding but they reinforced policy and were understanding. The breakfasts were wholesome and tasty. I would stay again if in the area.

Yelp
This hotel was very disappointing, I get that we are all short staffed right now but we had stayed in 3 other different hotels along this trip and none were as poorly kept as this one. The hallway floors (stains and debris everywhere), elevators (smelled like vomit), stairwells and rooms were terribly dirty. Fingerprints all over the door knobs in our room, floor had lots of hair and debris. I bought sanitizer wipes and cleaned everything, the floor made the wipes black. The microwave was broken and the internet was terrible. My husband complained and was told a manager would get back to us, that never happened. You also have to pay $8 per day for parking. We also opted to pay additional for what we thought was he continental breakfast, but in order to get eggs and meat protein we had to pay even more. I will say, the gentleman that runs the food was absolutely amazing.

Yelp
Adverstised OnSite restaurant No restaurant ! Checked in No coffee in my room Over 200 a night Not worth the money

Yelp
Super Bowl Sunday '21. Sorry, no photos of this one. However, this was another nice stay within the Hilton brand. The inn is located in South Reno, a nice, clean, relatively quiet section opposite downtown; a 10 min. drive to the airport, but not super close to any gaming options (casinos). The location choice suited us well, as we were shuffling back and forth between Reno and Carson City during the stay (the Capitol City being closer to South Reno than any other access point in Reno). In town to bet the Big Game $$$, laying bets for myself and several family members. We used Hilton Honors points to book a 1 nite stay. A middle eastern gent (staff member) provided pre-arrival phone support and also was the 1 who ended up checking us in upon arrival. He was efficient, if not outwardly friendly or enthusiastic. No big, just slide me my room cards, yeah? Hilton and sister-property Hampton have some of the most comfortable bedding in the industry, a fundamental staple of any successful stay. The company seems to understand nailing the "basics" of modern lodging. The rooms are sanitized in between guests, with a blue certification sticker as proof upon entry to your room. Property amenities here feature an indoor pool and jacuzzi, 2 Tesla charging stations out back, large wall-mounted flat screen tv, in-room Keurig coffee-maker with pods and supplies, 24 hr. business center and laundry rooms, free morning breakfast, on site restaurant-bar option, ironing set up, Neutrogena bath toiletries, pet-friendly and tons of restaurant options in the immediate area. Wouldn't hesitate staying again. And I cleaned up betting the Big Game. Thanks Tom Brady, you're the G.O.A.T!

Yelp
Unprofessional and difficult. This is the first time we write a review on a hotel. The Assistant Manager was difficult when we were trying to book a room. We have been staying at this place many times over last 6 years and was sad to experience unprofessional treatment. He is making the process more difficult than it should be.

Jerrame Y.

Yelp
Very poor hospitality. Although the hotel itself is very nice, there is also a lot of goings on. I showed up and people were smoking weed in the parking lot. Unfortunately I had small children with me. 12, 8, and 2. This place isn't suitable for children. It's a haven for drug dealers, and probably prostitutes as well. The staff are also very rude and they charge extra for everything, so don't expect any amenities.
google avatar

Kristine L.

Yelp
This hotel was under construction. The front desk area, the restaurant and pool were all closed. I made the reservation by phone from the website and the person I spoke with never provided that information. Our King room on had a small shower, toilet and sink in a small cramped space. The bed itself was comfortable. They had remodeled the room but it still had on old small TV, very little storage. Nothing special or extra nice about the room for the price. The only reason I am giving 1 star is the gal checking us in was friendly, nice and helpful. I won't return to this hotel
google avatar

Ranice L.

Yelp
Pros: -Nice service -Nearby stores (across the street) -Clean rooms Cons: -Small TV -Some outdated features (like chair and curtain) The cons aren't big factors, but it's the reason why I can't give 5 stars.

Yelp
Good location about seven miles south of downtown with easy freeway access for road trip stop over. Newer property (6 years old perhaps) so all elements in good condition. Friendly staff at desk. Since Hilton lets us auto check in 24 hours in advance of arrival all we had to do was pick up the key for the room we had selected for ourselves. Nice. King room was appointed with work desk, comfy additional reading chair, tv, Keurig coffee maker and fridge. Overall the room seemed a tad narrow. Comfy bed and pillows. And for the following I offer a big "woohoo"; no decorative throw pillows on the bed. Those things always strike me as unsanitary in hotel rooms. Free wifi was a little slow. Bathroom a little small but clean and all worked. I love that H G I does not offer free cattle call breakfast. Not really free, of course, but cost embedded in room prices for chains where it is offered. There is breakfast available in lobby via on site kitchen for nominal fee, $10 maybe, or gratis to Gold and Diamond level club members. This n That: 1) Accessibility: From parking lot to in and throughout all looked good. Accessible rooms also seemed available all floors. 2) Happy hour: At lobby bar every night 5 - 7. In house kitchen has full menu if you're too pooped to pop out for dinner. Our grilled veggie quesadilla was pretty good and fed two for only nine bucks.

Yelp
The woman at the front desk was very kind. The hotel is nice inside and the roomS are clean . There are a lot of places to eat all around.

Yelp
Charges $5.00 to park overnight. Makes no sense. Customer service was lackluster. Stay at another Hilton property.

Yelp
Booked with Travelocity Arrive. Entire floor is under construction, but they had labeled where to find reception, which was in a back office closet. I walk in and was greeted with just the stare of the customer service rep, Melissa Valtierra. I ask if this is where I check in I give her my name, she types then says smugly "mm I don't see anything" Me: well I know I booked it, maybe the spelling is incorrect? Melissa: do you have a confirmation number? Me: no but I do have a booking number Melissa: mmm did you book with a 3rd party? Me: yes Melissa: oh well I don't see it And that's it. I thought she was still helping me because she was typing on the computer. She didn't offer to get a manager, didn't offer instructions such as "check with the company you booked with", so I proceed to stand there because I'm thinking she and I are working it out. She looks at her phone and back at me awkwardly. This continues for 5 minutes before I realize she has ended our conversation without so much as advising me to contact Travelocity or speak with someone higher up. I then leave the office and call my mom, who made the reservation and is also staying here. she tells me she checked me in but the key is at the front desk. I go back in and let Melissa know. She looks right in front of her and there is my key, labeled with my full name. She sheepishly says "oh yup it's here". Then we do the credit card transaction, I had asked to use my parents' and was told no. Apparently, despite checking me in, we can't put their card on this room, which was the whole point of them checking me in but oh well. She hands me my key and that's it. I ask where the elevator is, because the entire floor is under construction. Later, my mom and I went back to chat with a manager, and was told no one was available. Misunderstandings happen, and it sounds like there was a disconnect with check in and whatnot, but Melissa's attitude and lack of customer service was very disturbing. I would recommend customer service training for her and probably everyone else at this hotel. Additionally, I noticed no one was wearing masks, which was very disappointing and off putting. I'm not sure if Nevada is requiring employees to wear masks, but it's a low effort practice that just makes customers feel safer during these times

Drew R.

Yelp
Decent place to stay for hotel. But let me tell you about the bartender Efren. Best bartender ever. Makes you feel at home. I'll come here every time I come to Reno just because of the bar service. I highly recommend.

Maria G.

Yelp
They don't clean the rooms they don't put towels and everything costs a lot of money the pool never works
google avatar

Yelp
With minimal Hilton property choices in the Reno area this location needs to have higher attention to detail. Their airport shuttle was eliminated in January. They did not have any hot breakfast buffet items on one day of my stay. The fitness center had broken and missing equipment (even the clock was broken). The carpet was stained and dirty. The room was poorly lit. Just a sad excuse for a hotel. Lucky for them the friendly staff saves them from 1 star.
google avatar

Bustam H.

Yelp
Not an honest hotel. They checked my wife and I in a suite that has a broken dark blind. When I complained to the room manager, he knew that room has problem. He did not offer any solution or anything until I told him how do you feel if you rent that room. He only gave me $50 night off for 2 nights ($300/ night room). The first night we had a bad sleep and second night I have to pressured him for spring bed so we can sleep in the living area. Very bad customer service. I emailed the Area Manager: Brad Lassner and I have not gotten any respond after a week. If you stay in this hotel, please make sure avoid room 315. Check the room first and ask to change right away before you settle. They will not care of your problem. Protect yourself. Avoid this hotel.

Yelp
Hubby is a diamond member. Front staff was nice and professional when we checked in. We don't feel that the room was really clean. Hair on the bathroom floor. Carpets dirty. No coffee in the room, so when we called front desk to get coffee pods, she never showed up. Hubby went to get some. Geez. We went to get breakfast. Super busy , we had to wait , but Brittany was great. Very nice. What was with the girl at the front desk this am??? Sloppy hair, disheveled, looks like she rolled out of bed. She must have been the one to forget our coffee pods. Anyways. It all comes down to the Management.

Yelp
Stayed in this hotel for an extended period of time. The staff was so hospitable and the rooms were emaculate. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it. Parking is free and they offer free cookies (in the lobby) and full service restaurant and bar. However, breakfast costs $13.99, although it is buffet style and cooked to order. The only issue I had were in regards to maintenance requests. Each time I put one in (2 in total), I had to request 2 to 3 times over 2 days each, in order for the request to be completed. Hotel is within walking distance to Sprouts and other grocery stores, gas stations, many restaurants, Starbucks and more. It is also about one mile from Interstate 580. Tips: Fitness center and laundry are only open 5a-10p. The pantry offers Amy's vegetarian frozen meals.

Yelp
Better choices in Reno. They do not have enough staff to serve breakfast, although the website shows it's included in the price. We have stayed here for years when traveling for business.

Yelp
Nice hotel. Good location for traveling. Convenient to highways. Clean. Very nice room. Nice staff! Breakfast service is wanting!!! Slow and overpriced. Not free as at many Hilton Gardens. Overall I give it a solid 4 of five.

Yelp
Stayed here for 9 days while working in the area. Very clean hotel. I definitely enjoyed the hotel bar as a place to unwind after a long day of work. There is a bartender/food manager named Eduardo. This guy is awesome. We greeted us everyday upon our return to the hotel. He even remembered my name. He works M-F. Unfortunately, the girl that works Sat and Sun is the opposite of Eduardo. She was rude and not helpful at all. I'll definitely be back, and look forward to Eduardos awesome customer service.

Yelp
Really just disappointing. We wanted to like this place as it is just down the street from family, but For 200 a night you'd think the bedding was more comfortable. Our pillows we so flat I felt like I was sleeping directly on the mattress, the comforter kept slipping out of the slip, it actually fell completely out at one point, and the rest of the room was just all right. It seemed very clean, but overall so uncomfortable to sleep in that I don't think we'll be returning.

Yelp
Great experience. I had a handicap room which was fine. I like the extra bathroom rails to set my phone on. The room was in a quiet location. The mirror in the bathroom could have been brighter. It was still light out when I hit the sack. Excellent blackout curtains with a good fit. The bed was comfy and I had 4 pillows. There was a mini fridge in the room and a K-Cup machine with two regular coffee's as one is never enough. The wifi was fast and I had a great view of the mountains. The staff gets 5 stars. They gave me 2 waters when I checked in and there were two in the room. The breakfast server was great. So I booked the room on Hotels.com for a fair rate. For $5.00 more I got a $15.00 breakfast.

Yelp
One of the managers contacted me and made this right. I am no longer frustrated with this hotel. Staffing shortages were blamed for lack of breakfast, but it is not listed o -line. Call ahead if you are counting on a hotel breakfast. No breakfast! Gold and diamond members were given 1-2 can of Pringles and a bottle of water for "free" What a joke.

Yelp
I stayed at the Hilton Reno for 1 night. I had a prepaid reservation made through Expedia. After check out, I received the receipt on my email where Hilton was charging me for the stay that was already pre-paid. I went back to the Hotel personally and tried to solve the issue. However, neither of the employees at the front desk would believe me, even when I showed them my email with all confirmation details. They made me call Expedia and Expedia call the hotel. After the Expedia call, they told me that everything was solved and gave me another receipt showing that nobody would be charged to my CC. They lied and still charged my CC for the stay. I have called and written emails and to this day, nothing has been solved. I will dispute the charges on my CC and I will never stay here or at any other Hilton Hotel. I recommend nobody else does. There are far more better options at Reno where they would not try to take your money and lie!!

Yelp
The hotel itself is nice and clean, however this was not a pleasant experience by any means. I book hotel rooms often as I am in school and need a quiet place away from my kids to study. This stay was ANYTHING but quiet. I had neighbors up all night slamming everything they could think of. Finally had to call the front desk around midnight because I couldn't take it anymore. I was finally able to get some sleep around 2 in the morning. To my surprise I wake up to extremely loud music that seemed to be playing literally right outside of my door around 8 in the morning. I look outside the peep hole to see what's going on- it's the housekeepers. No sense of respect for the people trying to get some rest in this hotel. It is currently 1:30 in the afternoon and I've been listening to their loud music since 8 this morning. Very unprofessional staff at this location I will not be returning.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Had an awful time due to the mask police in this place. In the time I was able to drink one beer, the mask police harrarased me 4 times for not having my mask all the way above my nose in between sips. It was so aggravating, we left the casino, went to bed early, never to come back!
