"Simply unbeatable for its location and views, the Hilton Gdańsk lies within the Old Town, overlooking the Motława River and the emblematic 15th-century port crane. Its 150 rooms and suites are often fully booked, so advance planning is required for any guests interested in the comfy, serene accommodations with heavenly beds. In addition to a friendly, courteous staff, the hotel features a wellness facility and two bars, all of which are on the top floors for the best views in town. Also worth noting is the hotel’s award-winning Mercato, one of the best restaurants in Poland and well worth a splurge."

We recently stayed at the fabulous hotel! The location is absolutely perfect since you are right on the river and right near the old town with all the shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, we were in room 501 and had plenty of room. The water pressure in the shower is very good! Even though this is a European hotel, they do have washcloths. The staff was incredible! They were able to answer any question that we had, they helped in booking excursions, and they even gave us bottles of water every morning, distilled or sparkling! Any one staying in Gdansk would not be disappointed staying here! Don't forget to try the lemonade at the bar, it is superb!!

Hilton Gdańsk delivers exactly what you hope for in a city stay: a welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful design, and a location that truly makes the trip. My room was quiet, bright, and impeccably consistent in style. The décor feels cohesive (warm woods, soft neutrals, quality finishes) and the room layout is practical for both work and rest.||Front desk contact was excellent from start to finish—proactive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Breakfast is handled smartly with a separate, calm dining area, which keeps the morning rush away. And don’t skip the rooftop bar: great views over the Motława and a surprisingly good burger—ideal at sunset.||If there’s one miss, it’s the absence of an Executive Lounge. Everything else—from housekeeping to in-room comfort—hits the right notes.||Highlights||A-plus location for exploring Old Town and the waterfront||Cohesive room design and comfortable furnishings||Welcoming, efficient reception team||Separated breakfast space that feels relaxed||Rooftop bar with views (and a solid burger)||Could be better||No Executive Lounge||Overall, a strong choice in Gdańsk—business-friendly, leisure-ready, and perfectly positioned.

Stayed three nights mid-August 2025. Well -situated in the old town right on bustling waterfront with lots of nearby and excellent restaurants . Lovely rooftop bar/restaurant with great views while having a Polish beer. Breakfasts were lovely with great coffee and choice of everything from pancakes to eggs, bacon and sausage.|Lovely clean quiet rooms and lovely, pleasant staff (with excellent language skills) . Well worth the price.

The location is excellent, the river view is very nice. Good soundproofing too, one cannot hear the street noise even though it is the very center of the old city. Reasonably good breakfast, good size rooms, clean. There were, however, some problems. The free internet in the hotel is excruciatingly slow, the slowest I have experienced in any hotels in the last 10 years. One can buy a faster internet for a steep price. The bath robes in the hotel were rough in texture and extremely small: we asked the hotel to change them twice, and they would dutifully bring XXL-labeled robes that were in reality petit. A room for improvement.

Location of hotel is perfect especially for Jarmark. Rooms are spacious but had some bit such as small alcohol fridge in shelf which light was on all time and slightly annoying during night. Breakfast was okay, nothing special to be honest, option to make your own juice from fruits was nice but there was always something missing like cups for coffee or glasses for water, staff was more to clean than to maintain crockery.

I’ve visited this place countless times, most recently on New Year’s Eve – and every single experience has been incredible. The food is always mouth-wateringly delicious, and the cocktails? You must try them! They’re some of the best I’ve ever had. But what really sets this spot apart is the staff. Every single team member is not only highly professional but also genuinely friendly and welcoming. One of the waiters who works year-round is hands down one of the most professional and attentive I’ve ever met. Honestly, I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about this place – it’s consistently fantastic!

Excellent location, right on the water with ferries at the door. The Junior suite was very spacious with a lovely view of the river. Excellent gym and indoor pool Great massage at the spa. Breakfast was fine and there is a rooftop bar where you can have a light dinner.Everything within walking distance.

The breakfast was amazing!!! I am not sure how much it is because me and my family got it free. Breakfast was good. It is also in a very good spot. There are a lot of close restaurants. If you a history fan it is a 5 minute walk from the World War Two museum.

Yelp
We loved our stay two night stay at the Hilton Gdańsk! The professionals working at the reception desk were very helpful. We received a lovely room overlooking a small street below. The room was large and very clean. All plumbing and electrical fixtures we used during our stay functioned well. The twin beds were very comfortable. HVAC unit was quiet and kept us comfortable. In face, our room (315) was very quiet despite it being an adjoining space. We were part of a Gate1Tour, and so received complimentary breakfast. I have never seen so many fresh, and delicious breakfast options in one Hilton space before! I recommend trying breakfast at least once during your stay. You will not be disappointed. Hilton's location on the water is prime. We enjoyed some the nearby shops, sights and eateries. That said, you will enjoy Hilton's insight restaurant too should you choose to dine there. The fine dining and excellent service were top notch. I highly recommend Hilton Gdańsk.

Yelp
We loved it here. Our 1st stop hotel feet on the ground in Poland, and we were so comfortable. The amenities were wonderful including bottled water every day, and snacks we needed after our long flights. The bathtub was hands down the longest I have ever been in. The shower was wonderful with slate flooring throughout. I loved the Crabtree and Evelyn soaps and shampoos. It really showed a level of class to have quality throughout. The bed was so comfortable and huge! It was bigger than our California King at home. We loved our room facing the canal. What a joy to wake every morning across from the Gdansk sign, a pelican going by on the water, a boat, everything coming alive. Then late in the evening after our adventures of the day, we could enjoy the lights glimmering on the canal and comforts of being home for the night in our room. We did the breakfast plan every morning which sustained us through the day. There was such a wonderful selection including herring, lox, eggs, sausages, cereals, and breads. We were able to enjoy eating outside when we wanted not far from the canal allowing us to people watch, and take it all in. The location of this hotel is perfect. You are able to walk the canal left and right, or access town behind you. We walked everywhere, and we loved it! Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant was very welcoming, and made us feel so comfortable. I want to go back right now to my roots...to Gdansk and the Hilton.

Yelp
Stayed here as part of a tour for two nights. Very modern hotel and great location to dining and sites in the city. View from the third bridge is incredible. Buffet breakfast is excellent. View from 5th floor bar area is outstanding. Stay here while in Gdańsk

Yelp
Hilton hotels are always nice, almost always anyway. We had a non smoking room but some smell from a neighbour managed to come into our room. When we told the staff about our concern they promised to fix the problem but the only thing they did was to spray some kind of perfume in our room. Apart from that we had a nice stay here. One really nice thing is the roof top terrace where you can sit outside and just have a drink enjoying a really nice view. And by the way it's open for everyone.

Yelp
This is possibly the best Hilton I have come across, I'm hard pressed to pick between this one and Hilton Bankside in London. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and tastefully decorated, the views are spectacular, and the location is as good as it gets. There was a bottle of wine, chocolate, and a card from the management waiting for me in my room when I arrived, which is surprisingly nice considering I stayed there using points. The suites located on the corner front side of the building offer stunning wrap around views of the harbor at a more than reasonable price. It is one of the few Hilton properties that truly deserves five stars.
