My wife and I enjoyed a three-night stay at the Hilton Goa Resort, a scenic hotel perched on a hill with views of vibrant greenery and the Nerul river. Our room featured a lovely balcony overlooking the forest, furnished with two loungers—the perfect spot for morning Pranayama and evening drinks.||The room was spacious, had a reliable internet connection, and included a well-appointed bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower and toilet areas. The hotel generously supplied towels, hand towels, and mats. There are also two pools that provide stunning views of the river.||We savored the masala tea, which was outstanding, and found the pakoras and peanut masala to be excellent. However, dinner did not always meet expectations—the paneer dishes were disappointing, the Daal Makhani was subpar, and the rice was undercooked. It's puzzling why luxury hotels in India often struggle with vegetarian cuisine.||The breakfast buffet was impressive, featuring delicious idli, dosa, chole, puri, and omelette. However, the croissants were not very fresh. The sitting area overlooking the pools added to the experience.||The highlight of the hotel was its staff—front desk, room service, and housekeeping were consistently prompt and courteous. Special thanks to Waseem, Surendra, Akshya, Vivek, and Ashutosh, whose excellent service truly balanced any shortcomings.||It would be beneficial for the hotel to offer a luggage trolley and ensure the mini bar in rooms is stocked. We did encounter water dripping from the ceiling during heavy rain, a technical issue that should be resolved.||Overall, our experience was wonderful.
