Hilton Kuching

This was our 4th stay within the last 6 month and as always, it was a most memorable and satisfying experience. |It is always a delight to be greeted by the bell staff, especially Harith, upon arrival. Check in at reception was very smooth and as Hilton Honours members the formalities were minimal. |The newly renovated rooms are super clean, comfortable and the rooms overlooking the river have a view one gets never tired of. ||The Hilton Kuching is the best choice for an Internationally branded 5star hotel in Kuching. It is very professionally managed and true to all the brand standards. Dealing with all the staff is such a delight as they not only provide efficient service but do it in such a polite and non scripted way that reflects true Sarawak hospitality. ||We shall return and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any business or leisure traveller.

Our stay at Hilton Kuching was fantastic. The location is unbeatable, right by the river, with stunning views and easy access to everything we wanted to explore. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a gorgeous view of the Sarawak River that made our mornings so peaceful. We also loved the variety at the breakfast buffet—plenty of local dishes to try, and everything was delicious. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were so warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. They made us feel right at home throughout our stay. If you’re visiting Kuching, we’d highly recommend Hilton Kuching. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and great hospitality!

Our family of four stayed for 6 nights in adjoining rooms and we were treated to true Kuching hospitality by the Management and Staff. Executive chef Alex Wong and his team took really good care of us both in the main restaurant and the executive lounge. Staff in the restaurant and lounge were always helpful and pleasant. The room staff were always helpful and kept our room very clean. The reception staff were always helpful and were the ones who ensured we enjoyed all the perks of our stay. We had a lovely stay at Hilton Kuching and felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s location is perfect, right by the waterfront, which made for stunning views and easy access to the riverwalk.||||Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the little details, like the cozy bedding and the view of the Sarawak River—it was such a peaceful sight to wake up to.||||The breakfast buffet was a highlight for us. There were so many options, both local and international, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The staff throughout the hotel were kind and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed.||||Whether it was relaxing at the hotel or exploring nearby attractions, Hilton Kuching made our visit so enjoyable. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city!

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at Hilton Kuching. Probably the most prime location for the view of the river and waterfront. The room we had was very nice and had an amazing view. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Kudos to Jarred and Sheila in the Executive lounge - they made our stay even better. Breakfast is very good with a lot to choose from, the lobby cafe has good cakes. The Christmas decorations make you feel really Christmasy. The only downside was the maintenance of the swimming pool which was closed for the half of our stay which is not ideal in hot afternoons. That said, we will definitely come back.

first time staying in hilton and we were so impressed by the newly renovated hotel. perfect rooms, great location, great service and delicious food. will stay here again if we come back to kuching. not a single bad thing to say about this hotel.room picture was from my friend’s bridal room because I was too excited to dive into my room lol

I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Kuching! The hotel’s riverside location offers stunning views of the Sarawak River and easy access to the city’s attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety of local and international dishes. Overall, a great place to stay for both business and leisure in Kuching!

This hotel gets the job done. The beds were singles; on the plus side, my wife was excited not to have to sleep next to me...but they were also only a slight upgrade over army cots. The shower is adequate, although if you're picky about your products, I'd bring your own shampoo and such. It isn't exactly brand new, but it was clean, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's as modern as any of the hotels in Kuching. The breakfast buffet has many options, some even tasty enough. I was happy to see some steamed broccoli and carrots one morning, as just about everything I'd had in Sarawak up to that point was fried, but they were nowhere to be found the following day. The staff is nice enough, although a bit forgetful. The guy who checked us in at the front desk ran my card twice for the deposit, and wouldn't have given our passports back unless I reminded him to go grab them off the copier. Nothing malicious, he just had a lot on his mind. The best thing about the Kuching Hilton is the location. It's a few short steps away from the Sarawak river, so you can easily walk out and wander the waterfront when everything starts to open up around 6:30 or 7 pm. It wasn't exactly full up when we visited, so chances are you can snag a view of the river, like we did. There's a pool. And that's all I have to say about that.

It's a bit of a ride from KCH to Center City Kuching. Having never been to Kuching (which seems to be more Chinese than Miri or Kota Kinabulu) and didn't really know what to expect in terms of my accommodations and the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at what looked like any other upscale Hilton and near a waterfront promenade. Our business trip team checked in, and got outside to walk around. We really enjoyed the water, the various architecture, the passenger boats navigating the Sarawak River, and some really cool local gift shops. It seemed safer and more interesting than Kota Kinabalu and not self contained like we felt at the Miri Marriott. Inside the Hotel was a nice Chinese restaurant, and a buffet area below that served both dinner and the included breakfast. They also have a bar/club, but I found the tobacco smoke to be uncomfortable. My room was very comfortable and easily compatible to any other Hilton I've stayed. I got 2 nights of good sleep, the first time post jet lag from my flight to Malaysia from the US half a week previous. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed being their guest.

Good location, quality service and amenities. Nice view if you get the river-facing rooms. Nearby shops and malls are just just walking distance.
