Hilton Kuching

My wife and I I recently returned to Hilton Kuching for a two night stay and it was like coming home to our private residence in Kuching. ||Adrian had prepared all the registration documentation and stepped out from behind the desk to welcome us back and hand us the keys. ||Helen and Terry also extended a personalised greeting and quickly seated us in the Chinese Restaurant for dinner where the food, as always, was delicious. We were looked after very well in the Executive Lounge by Petros, Sheila and Aless. ||The room, overlooking the fantastic tableau of the Sarawak River, Fort Margarita and Mount Santubong at the horizon, was spotlessly clean and all the facilities were in good working order. WiFi reception is strong and stable. I like the new dispensers in the bathroom. ||One outstanding feature of Hilton Kuching is its consistency and reliability in service delivery regardless of how busy the hotel is. It runs like clockwork and is testament to the professionalism and dedication of its management team and all staff. There is always a positive vibe in this hotel. ||Upon departure, Brodie bid us farewell in the lobby and we certainly are looking forward to our next visit.

I loved this hotel for so many reasons. If I ever go back to Kuching which I'd absolutely love to I don't think I'd stay anywhere else. For starters it was super comfortable and the staff are all amazing. And then the location is great too. You can walk to so many different areas of the city from here with ease. Best of all on that last point is that the views from the rooms and corridors are stunning so you can easily choose where you want to walk to from the comfort of your room. Finally the breakfast is absolutely incredible!

I would give the service 10 stars if possible! The staff crew is welcoming, professional, and very responsive. The executive lounge is also fantastic if you have a sweet tooth :) I would highly recommend if you are spending a few days in Kuching. Nothing beats the river view at a sunset at the lounge/your room. Kudos to the staff who remembered my dad too ;) He was very impressed with the attention to detail.

My family of 10 stayed in Hilton for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. It may be one of the oldest hotel in Kuching, all the rooms are NEW and CLEAN. Size of room is big for two pax and if you are lucky you get the river view. The bed is extremely comfortable and bathroom very clean. Great location, short walk to Waterfront and Jln Padungan.

Travelled here with family as a celebratory trip for ny husband and daughter and am so glad that I chose Hilton, Kuching. The service here is exceptional and the warmth exuded is genuine and fantastic. They made special effort knowing that it was a birthday outing by decorating the room, my husband and daughter's faces were pricesless when they walked into the room. In addition, there was also cake served as a surprise, truly fantastic hospitality! Really appreciate the team and hard work. Further, the Hilton Kuching team kept updated about my experience through Whatsapp, and this was simply amazing. A simple Whatsapp.message and they get things arranged for you! Would definitely recommend this hotel to all those seeking comfort warmth and luxury!

We truly appreciated the spacious room with its beautiful view, as well as the thoughtful decorations, sweet gift, and lovely cake. Kuching is such a friendly and charming city we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Swimming pool and kid club under renovation till 18 of November 2025 Gym located 1st floor , space quite huge the room was comfortable, though the soundproofing wasn’t very strong, could be improved, bathroom floor is quite slippery. From international airport to Hilton Hilton around 30 minutes, grab around RM10-15 From hotel to carpenter street walk distance around 10 -15 minutes Every night at 9:30 pm, there’s a special water and light show at the Sarawak River waterfront.

Stayed here 20 years ago, came back revisit with family on this trip. Still awesome in terms of service, staff is dedicated, amazing. Sunset view from lounge is breathtaking. Room is spacious, breakfast is high quality. Pros: 1. Free car park - just register your car number and you will be free in and out. 2. Lounge - one of the best, equipped, high quality in terms of food and environment. 3. Staff - Staff members are always very warm and welcoming, hardworking, take great care of customers. 4. Location- right at water front, everything is walking distance. Cons: 1. Pool - limited shade, can be very hot and sunny from before 8am until 7pm. Kids pool is big, but very basic, kids will get boring pretty fast without their pool toys. 2. No spa and massage in house, but there are few within walking distance.

Spent 4 nights in the executive suite with a fantastic view of the river. Staff so friendly and food on the cooking stations for breakfast was very good. My scrambled eggs were delious. Executive lounge was a great place to relax. Thank you Hilton for making our stay so enjoyable.

This hotel gets the job done. The beds were singles; on the plus side, my wife was excited not to have to sleep next to me...but they were also only a slight upgrade over army cots. The shower is adequate, although if you're picky about your products, I'd bring your own shampoo and such. It isn't exactly brand new, but it was clean, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's as modern as any of the hotels in Kuching. The breakfast buffet has many options, some even tasty enough. I was happy to see some steamed broccoli and carrots one morning, as just about everything I'd had in Sarawak up to that point was fried, but they were nowhere to be found the following day. The staff is nice enough, although a bit forgetful. The guy who checked us in at the front desk ran my card twice for the deposit, and wouldn't have given our passports back unless I reminded him to go grab them off the copier. Nothing malicious, he just had a lot on his mind. The best thing about the Kuching Hilton is the location. It's a few short steps away from the Sarawak river, so you can easily walk out and wander the waterfront when everything starts to open up around 6:30 or 7 pm. It wasn't exactly full up when we visited, so chances are you can snag a view of the river, like we did. There's a pool. And that's all I have to say about that.

It's a bit of a ride from KCH to Center City Kuching. Having never been to Kuching (which seems to be more Chinese than Miri or Kota Kinabulu) and didn't really know what to expect in terms of my accommodations and the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at what looked like any other upscale Hilton and near a waterfront promenade. Our business trip team checked in, and got outside to walk around. We really enjoyed the water, the various architecture, the passenger boats navigating the Sarawak River, and some really cool local gift shops. It seemed safer and more interesting than Kota Kinabalu and not self contained like we felt at the Miri Marriott. Inside the Hotel was a nice Chinese restaurant, and a buffet area below that served both dinner and the included breakfast. They also have a bar/club, but I found the tobacco smoke to be uncomfortable. My room was very comfortable and easily compatible to any other Hilton I've stayed. I got 2 nights of good sleep, the first time post jet lag from my flight to Malaysia from the US half a week previous. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and I enjoyed being their guest.

Good location, quality service and amenities. Nice view if you get the river-facing rooms. Nearby shops and malls are just just walking distance.
