Secrets La Romana Resort & Spa

Super nice!!! Loved it. Guy was shellfish allergy beside me and they cooked it all separate and accommodated perfectly. Nice to see! Didn’t affect the rest of us at all. Fast food. Good drinks and super fun staff. SANTA was the best waitress ever!

A few minor issues that do not represent a secrets resort standard. Adrian at the pool bar was my favorite person. He is so happy and truly looks like he enjoys his job!||Antonio, my butler was so sweet and always looking to enhance my stay.||Blackie chan and santa at Sakura were happy and fun during our Habachi experience.||Nairobi and dessiree at the preferred club were sweet and saved my trip! Literally!!!!!||Francesco at MARE provided wonderful service. Wasn't a fan of the food for dinner, but he made up for it. ||Henry, caoba and the grill supervisor was always checking in on us and our experience. ||And last but not least, our house keeper Nancy. She did a great job and we thank her very much for the little personal touches she did on the room.||||The resort is beautiful! Even with the construction (which didn't bother us at all), the landscaping was perfect. ||The room was clean.||Some of the service at buffet specifically was a little off. Waiting a long time for drinks even with only 4 or 5 other tables.||Water is calm and seaweed free! ||I would return again.

We had a lovely time here at Secrets! Lovely staff, very clean and well kept, all pools were great and the beach was a true highlight to the trip. One of the best beaches I've seen! We also had some great food at a few of the restraunts, the buffet was pretty average and could do with upgrading the quality here, but we particularly enjoyed Mare, Sakura (highly recommend the Rendang curry!) and Noor. These were the most consistent so we went back a few times and avoided the buffet most of the time. We enjoyed the options to paddle board and kayak too and managed to see a few sting rays and turtles too!

The resort is divided into two sections, one being Dreams La Romana the family friendly section and Secrets the adults only section. We were apart of the preferred club and enjoyed the venues on both sides of the resort. The service here is exceptional, everyone is very prompt and friendly. Sakura was an exceptional experience. I wish I could personally shout out each staff member, but there too many names of excellent staff to keep track of. Arriba, Abajo, Al centro, pa dentro!

Our stay at Secrets La Romana in the Dominican Republic was truly exceptional from start to finish. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, but what really made our trip unforgettable was the incredible staff who went above and beyond every single day. A huge shout out to Johan and Wander from the Preferred Lounge Bar. These two made every visit feel special with their welcoming smiles, fun energy, and perfectly crafted cocktails. They were the heart of the lounge! At Mare, where we enjoyed breakfast and lunch daily, we were constantly impressed by the team’s warmth and attention to detail. Kensia, Jennifer, Nancy, Lisset, and Heidi were absolutely outstanding. Each of them made sure our experience was flawless, always greeting us with kindness and genuine care. And a special mention to Kensia’s coffee, hands down the best way to start every morning! ☕️ She truly has a magic touch. Thank you, Secrets La Romana, for an amazing experience filled with great food, beautiful views, and unforgettable people. We can’t wait to come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Noor did not disappoint! Loved the family style serving and our service was top notch! Emmanuel Joseph was superb as our waiter! Lisandro & Eduardo were the talented chef’s who prepared our meal. Another shout out to Victor the manger! This restaurant is a most do during your stay!

This is a beautiful resort on the Southern Coast of the Dominican Republic. The resort pools were fantastic and the beach was clean and beautiful. Drinks were delicious and the restaurants are plentiful. The Ambar spa is very nice as I had my first massage there. The rooms on the Secrets side were very comfortable and always stocked with m&m's, Pringles, water, wine, and beer. Fresh bedding and clean fresh towels were always provided. The facility staff was friendly and always helpful. There is a really nice water park with a lazy river, four big slides, and a kiddie area.

Want to see lots of fish? |There's pier/jetty to the right. Plenty under there!|FOOD|Everywhere is secrets side is bloody good!|From buffet to al la carte.|The only BIG disappointment was Coastal Grill on Dreams side. Many agree! Avoid.|Special call out to the rest on Secrets side.|Noor, Mare and Chinola. All fantastic in their own way. |ROOM.|Great size.
