Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa

We had a wonderful stay, and I already know I would come back. I have not even left yet. One of the highlights was our butler, Aneuris. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely went out of his way to make things easy and special for us, thank you Aneuris! The food was excellent with lots of variety, and I appreciated the vegetarian and vegan options. Even as two adults, the water park was a blast. The lazy river and slides were so fun. The landscaping is beautiful and really mature, which I loved. Preferred Club was definitely worth it for the quieter pool and beach access. The Japanese and Italian restaurants were our favorites. The only small downside was the evening entertainment, which felt a bit sparse. It would have been nice to have more happening at night.

Disappointed experience. Definitely will not comeback. The main issue is food. Tasteless and same in all restaurants. What you didn’t eat on lunch restaurant will offer you for the dinner. Same fish and calamari during all lunches and dinners for all 7days. Hostess mid age women in Sushi restaurant vey rude, not friendly for all customers, not only for us. “Italian restaurant” looks like garage inside . Manager and server pushed us a lot to order vine for extra pay. Mixed all our orders. Food wasn’t edible, we finished hungry. All family members had stomach ache after every dinner. To be honest room was nice and beach was good.

The food was easy and great! The service is beyond good. We stayed at the preferred side and were taken care of by Amelia and Rosie daily. They were so polite and prompt with us. The rooms were nice, the location to everything was so easy. It never was overwhelming with people, it never felt crowded or congested at anytime. I had a fantastic experience at all of the a la carte as well. Alejandro was a host with the most. I was impressed with the staff's promptness and straight forward approach dealing with allergies as well. So efficient and so personalized should you make it known to your server.

Overall, it’s a lovely spot and a great vacation destination! The staff is incredibly polite and always ready to lend a hand. The food is excellent, with both a la carte options and a buffet that’s usually delicious. The pools are spotless, and the waterpark is a fun way to spend a couple of hours each day. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with towels changed frequently. However, there’s a bit of a downside: the rooms don’t have soundproofing, so even the slightest noise can be heard. If you have families with young children, you might find yourself sharing the experience with them all night. The preferred service is a nice perk, and we really appreciate it. The beach is small, but it’s comfortable, and the sea is a beautiful blue, free from algae like you might find in other areas. They also have a sports bar that’s quite nice. The main issue is the air pollution in the evenings and night. No one seems to be addressing it, but I suspect the power plant nearby might be burning something like rubber or oil. This happens every night except Friday, and in our case, we had smoke, which isn’t ideal to breathe in. The smoke even seeps into the rooms. Aside from that, it’s a closed resort with enhanced security, but it’s not really a destination for activities. It’s more about relaxing and being lazy.

This resort is amazing! It has exceeded our expectations. The resort is beautiful and very well kept. ALL of the staff is extremely friendly. We loved our beach waitress Domaday, she made our experience on the beach so much fun and she always had a drink in our hands. The Sakura restaurant was very delicious, and Santa and Eury were incredible. I highly recommend this resort to all!

I absolutely loved everything about Dreams La Romana! The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is outstanding. A special mention to Yesica Rodney at the beach service – she was excellent, always so friendly and attentive. Also, Joanna Céspedes at the buffet is just so lovely and welcoming every single day. Honestly, I can’t praise the entire staff enough – everyone at the resort goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

Francesco at Mare restaurant is phenomenal! Made a “parents” dinner incredible and a much needed mini escape from all the great family day fun. Super attentive, great recommendations, and amazing personality. Tempted to come back every night.

Antonio, our butler met us on our first day with the other valet workers at the front of the hotel ! Being greeted with such beautiful smiles, and enthusiasm was absolutely inviting and set the tone for our friend’s wedding week and so Heartwarming. Sakura staff and chefs were friendly and entertaining! the chefs - Roman and watson at the hut who prepared burgers and tacos were friendly and warm!.Francesco was an amazing server at Mare tonight! this is just day 1 of 4 days. it will be a wonderful stay here i know it!
