We stayed at the Hilton Galatzó for a few nights while staying at our flat, which we’ve been going to for the past 15 years. The main reason for booking here was convenience — my mom had a tendon injury, so we needed a comfortable place close enough that we could have breakfast at the hotel, head to the flat during the day, have dinner, and return in the evening to sleep.||Check-in was smooth, and the lobby looked clean and welcoming. Staff at reception were polite and efficient. Our room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. Décor and upkeep were fine — not especially luxurious, but nothing was worn or neglected.||The pool area was a highlight: clean, with a good number of sunbeds, and a relaxed atmosphere that made it a nice spot to spend time.||One thing I didn’t care for was the towel token policy. For a hotel of this level, it feels unnecessary and a little inconvenient. I’d much rather just pick up a towel without having to keep track of a token.||The buffet was okay but nothing special. There was a reasonable variety, and food was generally fresh, but it lacked anything that really stood out. My wife, who’s very particular about food, didn’t eat anything from it. I tried the paella — it was fine, but not something I’d go back for seconds on. On the positive side, the restaurant staff were excellent, clearing tables quickly and keeping dishes replenished without delay.||We didn’t use many of the other hotel amenities, though I did take a quick swim in the indoor pool on the last day. The hotel was busy with families, especially at meal times, but the buffet lines moved quickly enough that it was never a big problem.||Value for money felt fair, but there were no special touches that made the stay memorable. I think the experience could be improved with stocked minibars and proper room service. Unlike the snack bar in the lobby||Overall, the Hilton Galatzó worked for us because of our situation and the location, but I wouldn’t choose it again unless it was for the same practical reason.
