Nice spacious room, although bathroom is due for renovation. Excellent breakfast with great western and eastern choices. Mixed experience at dinner, from being totally ignored one evening by the waiterress, to correct service the next. Beautiful location across the royal palace compound. Lots of local restaurants close.

Staff are outstanding in their service, honestly the best reception team we’ve met yet. Recently under gone a refurbishments the lobby area, lovely lux decors, hope this continues to the rooms as they are in need of a revamp. Ask at check in to have a room without interconnecting doors. Our first room had an interconnecting door to the room next door, sound travelled through the door like it was paper thin, we requested to be moved and without hesitation we were. The pool was beautiful but it was so hot in Mandalay that the pool was more like a warm bath. Had a great 2 nights of sleep in our new room. Yes would recommend staying but check your room first.

Had a great stay here! Mr. Saw Win Phyo and his team made us feel so welcomed and greeted us by our names every time! The service is incredible and that's how you differentiate yourself from the other top hotels in the area! The view from our room over looking the palace is breathtaking and the hotel is an oasis in the busy city! And they have an amazing pool!

This hotel was rebranded to Hilton an international 5 stars hotel a year ago. The room is clean and nice. Breakfast has lot of varieties. However, I can hear some rooms are still undergoing renovations. But no big deal if you are staying in the room during day time. Overall good experience than before Hilton took over.

Great location. It was formerly Sedona's and Hilton hasn't fully renovated the hotel yet. The lobby and pool are quite nice but the rooms and elevators all feel very old. The breakfast was subpar at best. There are plenty of nearby hotels that are more value.

Very nice service and foot is very good in both resteraunts. If noise dont bother you take the terasse or balcony rooms towards the Hill. Unfortunately the have no soundproof doors, windows. Otherwise take the room to the pool. We spend 6 nights with much pleasure.

I spent a lot of times in US with Hilton so decided to stay in this hotel for my first business trip to Mandalay. Because the hotel didn’t accept Amex, I had to book through a travel agency which could process my card. At time I showed up for check-in, the reception insisted that I wouldn’t have any points for this stay because of agency booking, and denied my access to the Executive Lounge even though I had a Diamond status. I got a room with pool view, which was okay, however, its furniture looked so old, few of them was like 50 years ago. And once I saw a long black strand of hair in toilet bowl, I decided to give this 1 star because it is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Regards.

Nice hotel. Breakfast is good and the staff at the restaurant are all friendly and helpful. The view of the palace from our room is great. Sound proofing can be improved though.
