Hilton Mexico City Reforma

I’ve stayed hundreds of nights in Hilton properties all over the world and this property is the best I’ve ever stayed in. Not because the rooms are beautiful or the lobby is spacious but because the star is unbelievably good. Every staff I came into contact with was the best. From the check in experience to the lobby bar they are all top tier. The executive lounge staff are fantastic. They remember the drink you like and bring it to you as soon as you sit down. The level of service at this property is unmatched by any other Hilton property I’ve stayed in and this includes the Waldorf brand. Cannot wait to go back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice spacious rooms and plenty options for lunch, brunch and dinner. Rooms have all the amenities you may expect from a hotel like this. Nicely situated in the city center only a short walking distance from major tourist sites. Only a 5 minute walk from plenty of nice roof top terraces and nice place to get great food.

This was an excellent elegant hotel. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The lobby and restaurants in the hotel are very elegant. The rooms are very spacious and always clean. Huge gym and inside and outside pool was perfect. There are local American and Mexican restaurants nearby walking distance from historical sights and local shopping. Highly recommend will definitely stay here again.

Everything was wonderful. If I had to choose something to improve, make the jacuzzi warmer in the men’s locker room and more towels as well. The room was great. The view was great. The service in the executive lounge was phenomenal. Next time in CDMX I will stay here.

Pros: i liked the location alot, walkable to the city center but located across from a nice park. Breakfast quick and ample. Big professional standard Hilton. ||Cons: Big professional standard Hilton. Lots of flight crews, student groups. My room was fine, comfortable, whole building could use a refresh. Pool is small and narrow- a few kids in it and it became useless given the weird size.||A unique Hilton problem remains the tiny number of elevators available for such a tall tower. During peak times, they are packed and take forever. Simple architectural math gone wrong.

I loved our Hilton Reforma hotel stay. The location is right across the street from the beautiful Alameda Park. It’s also a short walk to the impressive Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Zocolo. We stayed in a Junior Suite and a Master Suite and both had full floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views of the park and the city (see photo). The outdoor pool is very narrow but a nice touch after long walking days. The Club Lounge was decent for breakfast, Happy Hour and the staff were very friendly. We tipped in the lounge every day but they charged us in US dollars not pesos. I had to call to get them to fix it. We paid 450 pesos for the hotel car back to the airport and then when we got our bill we were charged a 10 percent hotel commission which was never mentioned. Overall, I think the Hilton Reforma hotel is a great choice if you want to be close to the Historical Center.

We particularly recommend this hotel. Facilities are very good and staff are excellent.||We stayed for 15 nights in May 2024.||As Diamond members we received complementary breakfast and were upgraded very well. Before we arrived, we received an email from the hotel 'Journey Ambassador' and I suspect that my telling him of my husband's birthday whilst we were due to be there helped nudge up the upgrade from King Bed standard to King Bed Business Suite. (When we entered the room there were charming birthday decorations.)||Room was immaculately clean, air conditioning worked and all bathroom items worked well. Furnishing and styling of the room was comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Bathrobes provided without us having to ask.||We had use of the Executive Lounge. All reception staff there very welcoming and friendly and helpful. We are lazy Brits who rely on the English skills of hotel staff, and all of them have very good English. Have to give a special mention to Carlos, Yasemin and Daniela. Daniela in particular has excellent English and she kindly spent time with us chatting about Mexico.||The food offering in the Executive Lounge is very good. Breakfasts offer not quite as much variation as in general breakfast room, but still lots of choice and the quality of cooked dishes that little bit higher. In the evenings the food is a selection of good quality cooked dishes and salads, plus cakes. Not full-on meals (hotel restaurants for that) but certainly sufficient to mean you do not need to go out for a meal if you don't wish to. In the course of our 15 days the food varied and we did not get bored with what was on offer. During 'happy hour' the bar in the lounge offers inclusive beers, wines and cocktails. The staff in the bar/dining area were all super efficient and welcoming. They were kind, attentive and observant without being overbearing. ||The Executive Lounge is on the 26th floor (of 27) and the view over the city is remarkable. [If you can afford a bedroom on a high floor with an Alameda (city) view, go for it.]||We used the swimming pool and gym. Great to have a pool where you can actually swim meaningful lengths. The general lobby has a lively bar area, comfortable seating and a variety of quiet and 'buzzy' areas. The breakfast restaurant on floor 1 is efficient and offers good variety of good food.||One point that other reviewers have mentioned is having to sign for each meal, even if included in your overall stay. Yes, this happens (in all the Mexico Hiltons in which we have stayed). We just calmly did what asked and made our own choice about whether or not to tip. Nobody seemed offended when we did not tip.||Additional mention must be given to the excellent staff response when one of our party became ill. My husband mentioned in passing to a member of staff that he was feeling very breathless in the high altitude of the city. The member of staff replied by suggesting his blood pressure was checked - turns out that the security staff are trained to measure blood pressure with the cuffs they have about their person at all times when on duty. The member of staff knew enough about blood pressure results to suggest that a GP be contacted: we said yes, the hotel arranged this and the medic who arrived spoke good English and sorted out my husband. Thank you Hilton.||Hotel in an excellent location for just walking out the door, across the road and into the lively and interesting park. Very convenient for walking to the downtown area, and for the metro bus and metro. ||We are a retired UK couple who, over the past 4 years, have stayed in many Hiltons around the world.

I was just here for one night for a work trip! Huge rooms! Comfy beds! Loved the work station as I had a meeting to call into for the morning. Huge bathroom with separate tub and shower areas along with separate toilet area. Loved the outdoor lap pool. I didn't' bring my suit so I couldn't enjoy it. Friendly bartenders for a late night drink and snack. Breakfast buffet was great! Good coffee and wide variety of options--made to order eggs, sausages, cereals, fruit, deli meats, breads, sweet breads, juice, etc.
