Hilton Mexico City Reforma

"How did it strike you on arrival?Enter the lobby at this luxe downtown hotel, with sky-high ceilings and moody light fixtures, and you'll immediately want to post up on the low-slung, contemporary furniture (and stay a while). Nice. What’s the crowd like?Guests are a mix of business travelers and well-heeled vacationers, who’ve likely chosen the hotel for its location, within walking distance of Zócalo and the Palace of Fine Arts. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Standard guest rooms are spacious and classically designed in a palette of white, brown, and beige. Amenity junkies (with deep pockets) should consider booking a room on the Executive Floor, which has its own lounge (complete with complimentary snacks) and check-in area. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?The trademark Hilton serenity beds are incredibly comfortable and topped with soft, white sheets. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase?I appreciated the Cuisinart coffee maker and ergonomic desk chair for when I needed to do work in the room. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. The marble bathrooms have both tubs and showers. Suites have Jacuzzis. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word? The complimentary Wi-Fi is strong. Room service: Worth it?The room service menu is varied and offers international classics as well as Mexican favorites. If you can get out of that robe, head to one of the hotel's three restaurants for a sit-down experience. Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why?All of the concierge staff are well informed and eager to help. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.Don’t miss the beautiful rooftop lap pool or the spa, which has a steam room and a Jacuzzi. Guests with disabilities have the option to stay in specially designed accessible rooms. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? You can’t beat the incredible city views at Terraza Alameda restaurant. Bottom line: worth it, and why?The Hilton Mexico City Reforma is a classic example of “you get what you pay for.” (In this case, that’s quality amenities at a luxury price point.)" - Susannah Rigg

Clean, comfortable, well located Hilton which gives you the exact room, amenities, service, and experience you would expect from a Hilton anywhere in the world. The happy hour for the executive lounge is a nice touch for diamond honors members, the gym is large and well equipped, and the pool is a decent length for lap swimming. The lobby bar has a giant TV showing US sports and serves decent tacos. All staff are extremely friendly and attentive, Perfect for a business trip or a family city visit. View of the park and the City on the upper floors is amazing at sunrise and sunset.

1. Perfect location. Write across from Alameda Park and within walking distance of most of the main attractions in the city. |2. The breakfast and breakfast staff were top notch. We had breakfast at the hotel for seven days and never got bored. It was really well run and all the staff were so gracious. |3. Rooms are large and ours had a great view, but they are a little dated. We had a special rate of about 200 American dollars per night which was good. If I was paying 400 dollars a night I would be disappointed. |4. Large gym and pool and pretty pool deck.|5. Really all the staff were fabulous but we dealt the most with Elliot the concierge who was warm, prompt and helpful. Jaime also was great and went out of his way to help us. The other concierges were also fantastic we just dealt with them less. Both Cesar and Lorena at the front desk made a situation that could have been a hassle very smooth and did it with smiles on their faces.

I just stayed here and wanted to write a great review. ||I am a diamond member and was upgraded from a King to a King suite (very lucky one was avail for 3 nights). The room was 1821 and it had an amazing view of the park, Palacio de Bellas Artes and CDMX.||The executive lounge happy hour offers very good hor deurves. The restaurant staff: Abraham, Grecia & Javier are very friendly and offered great service.||My room was spacious and I really liked the work table and USB A & C outlets next to bed. The Persera amenities for bath and soap was very good and l like the natural rosemary fragrance.||My housekeeper, I believe her name is Carmen is very nice and she really organized my room neatly and it made me happy. ||The hotel has a very well stocked gym, the indoor pool isn’t so deep but you can do laps in the outdoor pool. ||Nothing lacking in the breakfast ! I highly recommend . And I definitely utilized the 24 hour night menu room service!||The coffee here is really good so def order coffee here!||The one note is to offer streaming options or device connectivity on TV would be nice. ||The location is in Reforma & in middle of it all. ||Thank you so much for the stay and making this Diamond member’s stay enjoyable.

Google
What an excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and nice. The location is very convenient and excellent and close to many attractions. The hotel lobby bar is pretty good. The gym of this hotel is probably the best hotel gym I have seen in my lifetime. The only thing missing are smart TV'S in rooms like Hilton has everywhere in the world now. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel!

After 15 years of visiting Mexico City, this marks the end of an era for me staying at the Hilton Reforma. Over those years, I’ve stayed at this property at least 6 to 8 times — and it has consistently been one of my favorite experiences. Of all the Hilton hotels I’ve visited, this is easily my top choice, and one of my top five hotels anywhere in the world. From the incredible breakfast to the warm, welcoming staff who greeted me by name each morning, to the front desk team always eager to assist and accommodate my room preferences — every stay here has been special. There was never a bad visit. Though I’ll miss staying here, as I’ll be moving into a home I started building three years ago that will be complete this July, I’ll continue to recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Mexico City. I know they’ll be in great hands, just as I was. If you’re searching for a hotel with an ideal location — within walking distance to the city center, the Pink Zone, or the beautiful park just across the street — you won’t find a better option. Safe, well-lit, comfortable, and beautiful from the lobby to the rooms, it truly has everything you could hope for. Thank you to everyone at Hilton Reforma for your kindness, attention, and outstanding hospitality throughout the years. I genuinely appreciate the way you cared for me and my family, and those memories will always stay with me.

Google
An excellent hotel, will stay again, and would recommend to friends and family. The quality and location of the hotel are excellent. The staff are attentive, warm and welcoming. - Sandra and Valeria at the Front Desk for their warmth and professionalism, - Fernando, Marina, Luis, and Olimpia at the Spa for creating a truly rejuvenating experience, - German at the Lobby Bar for his attentive and friendly service, - The restaurant staff for their consistency and care, - And Miriam from Housekeeping for her thoughtful diligence. There are many more who ensured I had a pleasant stay, but I cannot recall their names. If I have to choose things to be critical about I would offer two things (and these are largely personal): - Increase water pressure in the shower, it’s not bad - but I’d prefer a jet stream 😅 - Updates to the rooms décor / aesthetic, like others have noted they are dated and feel underwhelming for this location. The carpet, furniture and fixtures could benefit from an update - to be in line with the rest of the hotel.

The location of this property is terrific. The breakfast is outstanding and we really enjoyed using the spacious gym. The room is a little dated, but it is spacious.||The outdoor pool area provides a relaxing environment after a busy day wondering around town. Finally, the staff was attentive despite our Spanish language skills.

We just wrapped up a fantastic 5 night stay at the Hilton Reforma in Mexico City, booked entirely with Hilton points. We arrived around 1:30pm and were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early. and as a Diamond member, I was upgraded to a spacious corner Junior Suite on the 17th floor with views of Alameda Park and the Palacio de Bellas Artes.||Also with Diamond status the impressive daily breakfast buffet served in the hotel restaurant was included.||All the staff were friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their face ||The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, with historic sites, museums, and great food options all within walking distance. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Yelp
Very nice Hilton in a great location within the Reforma area of Mexico City. Room was very nice with one exception-- the king bed mattress was perhaps the worse mattress I've ever had in a major hotel. It was old and very saggy. So bad in fact, that I had back issues after one night. After two, I was in constant pain. We switched to another room and my back improved overnight. Otherwise, everything else about the hotel was first class.

Yelp
What a wonderful stay!!! All the staff members were extremely friendly & bilingual. They DO allow for luggage hold which was a huge perk since we had a late flight out. Room service was 10/10 (we got something pretty much every night and it was all good -- wings, burgers, fries, pizza) and very quick. The breakfast!!!! Oh my gosh it was so so good. I would come back just for breakfast. Was in an interesting location (super touristy) right across the street from a park and street markets. Lots of restaurants around the hotel as well. The lap swimming pool was nice to lounge by, my only complaint is that there weren't servers on the pool deck (that was more of a personal preference tho so no stars taken away).

Yelp
Great service. Exceptional value for what you get. Super sized room with great views toward the historic city center and the famed reforma district. Massive soaking tube with 1 jets that looks out over the city. Everything is finished in marble. Rooms good use an update but they seem reasonable. Huge tvs if you like that and a sitting area. Lifetime Hilton Diamond so we had access to the lounge in the 26th floor which is always nice for improved views and food and drink free gratis. We didn't park or use the gym this trip. The pool level is huge and visible from our room. Accessibility to so much from here. All walking or easily access the subway system nearby. Multiple restaurants and bars on-sight and very fast elevators that whisk you to the 26th floor in no time. We love this property.

Yelp
Its an extremely busy hotel, being its in the heart of CDMX centro and historical zone, also across the street from the main park people are constantly walking in and out 2 restaurants in front of the hotel are quite busy as well, there was also a wedding last weekend so pretty hectic all around we couldn't hear the music from the room but the walls were thin enough when the neighbors closed the door and I'm sure they are not "slamming them" I can feel a constant vibration when they enter and leave The room itself is quite large and spacious which is nice definitely felt like a business hotel vibe We received these rooms for free from a friend who won a lottery they also came with free breakfast buffet basically bread and alot of carb options, omlette bar and youre basic microwave processed sausages, charcuterie style pieces probably won't ever go back since its not our style and way to busy for our taste but its nice for people who want to be near the action! we walked home from Arena Coliseo wrestling match and bar hopped our wayback from zocolo area all safe and have good lighting

Yelp
The staff was wonderful and very sweet here. They even surprised me with a cake and some fresh fruit for my birthday and upgraded me to a suite. This is a pretty convenient area to stay as well. Everything was very clean!

Yelp
One of my best Hilton experiences ever. Loved this hotel for the entire week we stayed at it. Staff was fantastic. Diamond status was treated with a tremendous amount of "elite" lens. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Room was spacious and had fantastic views of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Room service was fantastic (with huge portions) Spa was AMAZING. Location was nice with lots of options for both higher end restaurants, small shops and street vendors close by in an area that felt safe. But realize most museums and things you may want to go to near the Chapultepec are a solid 30+ minute Uber away. Ubers were cheap and easy to get from the hotel but the travel time eats up a chunk of your visit. Overall if I return to CDMX I would stay nowhere else but this hotel.

Yelp
What an amazing stay! Although, this hotel is in the business district it isn't far from many tourist attractions. The hotel is connected to the mall, Reforma 222 , which had good shops. Also, there is a little plaza in walking distance from the hotel to bars & restaurants. I truly enjoyed my stay! The rooftop, executive lounge, and bars were top tier!

Yelp
So glad I made the decision to stay at the Hilton while visiting Mexico City and I want to thank their Journey Ambassador, Carlos, for really elevating our stay. He was able to give us a complimentary upgrade as a new Hilton Honors member and were ecstatic with our beautiful master suite room we were given. The hotel is conveniently located 20-ish minutes from the airport and a walkable distance from many restaurants and the nearby plazas. There are plenty of amenities, dining options, and lounge areas inside the hotel. Front desk people were "OK" but I feel like all other service workers were very nice and attentive. They seemed more enthusiastic and were always welcoming to help out with anything. Aside from the lovely room, I really loved their indoor and outdoor pool. Outdoor pool area gives an astounding view of the city. It's totally worth it!

Yelp
Very nice hotel. Stayed for four nights, and I would return. Everything from breakfast, to housekeeping, and the concierge was amazing.

Yelp
A fantastic hotel in the Centro region of CDMX. This hotels quality of service was unmatched so far compared to our other stay during this trip. Carlos and Jazmin made the trip perfect. We upgraded our room for a night and was not disappointed! A++

Yelp
The hotel really made our trip amazing. We arrived at 7 am and we're told our room would not be really until 3pm, we expressed we were exhausted from traveling and the front desk was able to give us a room to rest in until our room was ready. They called the room and came and brought to our new room and the view was unbeatable! A huge perk was the executive lounge which included free breakfast and happy hour. Our room view was great, and bed was very comfy. The location is central and on Saturday night they close the road to bikes and pedestrians. The park across the street also had a handful of vendors. Experience was great, would recommend.

Yelp
The Hilton in the heart of Mexico City was fabulous. When you enter, you are exposed to the beauty of Mexican art and architecture with big spacious rooms. The staff is on top of their service game. Ready and willing to accommodate your needs. Taxis and Uber are conveniently nearby Use your google maps to explore the city. We had two queen size beds. No sofa bed. The rooms were very big with a walk in closet, a dining area with a big table, large tub with a connecting stand up shower and separate toilet room. Two large tvs. (Although it would have been a bit annoying if they both had different channels playing at the same time). We always had four bottle waters replaced at the time of cleaning. The AC unit was a bit noisy but functioned well. Ordering from room service was a bit of a struggle. We have a picky eater in the family, so when he orders a plain burger, it needs to be plain. Also the restaurant undercooked the burger but quickly corrected the mistake by making another. Very nice and courteous staff. The executive lounge had plenty choices of different appetizers and full bar. They are open between 6-8pm for happy hour and 630-1030 for breakfast. Amazing skyline view. Diamond members get a free breakfast in the executive lounge complete with appetizers buffet style. Made to order eggs. There are also two restaurants on the lobby level. We never tried them but looked charming. The room comes with a small fridge and a coffee pot but no microwave Housekeeping was excellent replenishing plentiful towels and cleaning the rooms. Don't forget to leave a tip on the bed for them

Yelp
Pretty solid place for CDMX. We stayed at the executive lounge level, which included free breakfast and a two hour happy hour with heavy snacks and an open bar. Service was attentive and the staff has very competent English, although, as with everywhere else in CDMX, a little Espanol goes a long way. The property feels as if it's aging a bit; the rooms are very 1980s in design, and our shower had a bit of a leak and some water stains in the tub, although this was really minor. Location is fantastic; it's just across the street from the Alameda and Bellas Artes, which makes for lovely (and safe) evening strolling and snacking from the many vendors of plantanos locos and other Mexican street food goodies. The rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious. Hilton Reforma is nothing magical but a really solid value. Not over the top or once in a lifetime (and the mattresses are pretty hard, which was great for me but terrible for my dad). I've stayed here twice and would stay again.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here during our first night in Mexico. We arrived here without reservations because I messed-up with the initial reservation that I made at a different hotel. This particular location is much larger than previous Hilton's that I've stayed at back home. The lobby is enormous and it includes a nice restaurant, bar, and seats spread out everywhere. It's quite grand. We we're lucky enough to be checked-into a room with the window facing Alameda Park. We we're on the 10th floor, and the view enabled us to see everything from the park to north of the city. The front desk person who helped us was awesome, and everyone else with whom we reacted with was equally nice. We could not have asked for a better room accommodation, from the bed, television, WiFi, and fully -equiped bathroom, the place was amazing!

Yelp
My family has been going to this hotel since 2002. This is by far one of the best hotels I've been to. The staff go above and beyond to give the best experience. I their breakfast is good- and the room service is phenomenal. I had a late night flight, and I was able to check in to the hotel at 11 at night and still get some great food from room service. This hotel will not disappoint!

Yelp
Can't say enough about this Hotel. Friendly, professional front desk staff and concierge. Being HHonors provided dedicated checkin. King bed room was perfect. Clean and everything worked. Executive level included free breakfast and happy hour. This perk was outstanding!!!! Breakfast every morning with a beautiful view the city's skyline. Happy hour was the best. The staff in the Executive lounge was amazing. Very attentive. The location was perfect to walk or take bus/subway. Will definitely stay at this Hilton again.

Yelp
Celebrated my wife's milestone birthday by taking a family vacation with our daughter to Mexico City. Being a planner, I reached out months in advance to plan a special outing at the hotel with Carlos and Jaime. They worked with me on upgrading my room (I'm a Diamond Member) to a wonderful suite overlooking Alameda Park to special treats and decorations in the room to making reservations at highly rated restaurants. They corresponded with me weekly and couldn't have been more flexible and accommodating. Along with Carlos and Jaime, we enjoyed 5-Star service from the rest of the hotel's staff. Other standouts were Manuel and Nayeli from the Concierge Desk. The staff in the Executive Lounge were amazing and made our breakfasts and happy hours memorable (thank you to Alejandro, Grecia, Eli, and Ulysses). All in all, this hotel and their amazingly well-trained, kind, and helpful staff made our trip and birthday celebration a 10. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
I stayed at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma during new year 2024. I highly recommend it! They have an indoor and outdoor heated pools just in case you get a rainy forecast. Every single employee was professional, attentive and friendly. The price was reasonable compared to similar hotels around the area. I stayed in the 800 square foot two beds room which is almost twice as big as the standard size. I recommend this room because you have a separate space for dining where you won't disturb anyone else that might be staying with you. The stall is also in its own small room in the bathroom, separate from the vanity which is essential if you have kids or are staying with family. Some areas can use some updating but being that it was more affordable that other hotels I feel like that makes up for it and the areas that need upgrading are not in places where you will more than likely hang out like the hallway lol. Some people are very particular.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
Hilton Mexico City Reforma is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of the Centro Histórico. It is practically across the street from the Palacio de Bellas Artes, which still leaves me in awe every time I see it's beauty. The rooms are a good size, which great views. The concierge was very welcoming and overall the service was great. The city's Chinatown is right outside the hotel as well. During the night, there is a lot of stands that set up about a block down and sell food. I believe the same is done in the park across the street. All in all, great location with great views and lots to do in that area. You can also walk to El Zocalo from there.
google avatar

Yelp
Horrible customer service. Lack of following thru based on gold status. Upgrades available but won't give, the one they did is for the same room but was supposed to have lounge access but because they upgraded to it won't give lounge access. Make it make sense. Worst service at a hilton ever. Even when I called corporate Hilton they don't understand.

Yelp
So this is going to be a long one. My friends and I enjoyed a delicious brunch at the Hilton (served by a wonderful man named Raul), paid, then proceeded to swim in the hotel pool. After several hours of frolicking in the water, we began to get dressed to head back to our apartment. A hotel staff member came in as we were preparing to leave and asked us to tell her our room number. We told her that we paid separately to use the pool. She then came back with 2 security details who asked the same questions in English. When we gave the same answer, they walked to the door and glared at us as we got dressed. More and more guards began to appear until they swarmed the hallway. When the manager appeared, 3 guards told her (in Spanish) that we (a group of black men and women) all snuck into the pool secretly and that they would remove us if we protested. The manager corrected them, stating that she saw us at brunch. She then approached me and asked if I had a problem, in which I told her that they wrongfully accused us. Instead of offering a sincere apology, she instead defended the actions of the 7 guards, stating that they needed to protect the patrons of the hotel, but were we not patrons as well? That the Hilton Mexico City Reforma staff were willing to lie about it and treat paying customers like criminals is utterly shameful. This came days after our Uber was pulled over by two Mexican police officers who told us to show ID and asked if we were in the country legally. I've been to countries where my people have rarely wandered and have experienced no racism at all. It was more than appalling to go through this in Mexico. If this hotel chain employs racist guards, I can no longer support it. They need to treat patrons with more respect than they showed us and not lie in Spanish thinking that there is no such thing as a black Latino or a black person who speaks Spanish.

Jason W.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay at this Hilton. Right in the downtown with plenty of restaurants and sightseeing can do. Great view from my room. One important thing that they did right but most hotels somehow don't is the guest room is very well illuminated.

Yelp
Such an excellent hotel. If you're traveling for work, it's near most international businesses. If you're traveling for fun, it's in walking distance to quite a few landmarks. If you don't feel like leaving the hotel, or are stuck on a holiday when things are closed, all three restaurants are excellent, which is so odd for a hotel. If you're a Hilton Honors member, you get two free bottles of water per day. I drink much more than this, but it's a nice plus. I haven't used the gym or the spa, but they look nice from the outdoor restaurant. LOL Edith at the front desk is super friendly and helpful.

Yelp
A marvelous staff and location. I write this from a Diamond perspective, but this place lives up to the needs of an HHonor member. The room we received was spacious and well appointed. The views are nice and with the big parade it was a cool front row seat. The executive lounge staff was top notch. They had the patience to accommodate the weasels who bring 5 kids up there and the class to keep beers coming and coffees filled. The food was also a nice surprise both in the lounge and the on site restaurants. My only gripe was the weird bath/showers. A little touchy and slightly dangerous! Now our home in Mexico City.

Yelp
Late review as I stayed here for 5+ days around this time 2 years ago at the beginning of the pandemic. Very Nice, friendly, clean and secure hotel. I decided to spoil myself and booked a large executive suite and it did not disappoint. (My friends stayed at an AirBnB across from me. Great views Plus a lobby bar and lounge area. I recommend this hotel not only because it's very nice but for the safe location in the historic district with Lots of walkable points of interest, places to eat and when I vacationed there it seemed like there was a nightly food & vendor market right across the street. The-only downfall was that the street in front can get extremely busy. Lots of places to go were only an Uber away. And not far so you can check off plenty of items on your to-do list from this central location.

Yelp
Best overseas Hilton I've been to in awhile which I want to thank Cecilia ( Executive Lounge Front Desk), the gentleman with the curly hair (executive lounge server), the young girl in the executive lounge server also. They found out I had traveled for my birthday and sent up a cupcake that had "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate on the plate which made everything very special. The bathtub in the room had a slow drain and ENG was there within 10 minutes and fixed it immediately which I had zero troubles for the rest of the week of my stay. I enjoyed being upgraded to the Executive Floor where I received private breakfast and evening reception included. As a fellow team member I was genuinely surprised and made me want to take this feedback to my property so we can provide service like this. This hotel is center for Mexico City as its 2 blocks to the Metro, 5 blocks to the government section (Zocola) and Uber is accessible in the city. THE BEST 7 days to spend my birthday week in Mexico City and plan to be back as I felt very comfortable.

Yelp
On my two latest trips to Mexico City me, my wife and daughter stayed at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma. It is centrally located in Mexico City and about 5 miles from the airport. It is next to a nice large park and is situation on a very busy street. The staff are very nice and accomodating, Everyone speaks English to a degree in the hotel. It offers 2 restaurants, EL Cardinal near the lobby and Jose on the 2nd Floor. It has a huge workout room on the 6th floor along with swimming pool and spa. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. It also offers a large full bar in the lobby with live music two nights per week. Everything was great about this hotel and highly recommended. Pet friendly too!

Yelp
If you are lucky to come across Sebastian, one of the managers, you'll have no problems. Others, will pretend like they understand you do from some st the front desk, most at the concierge and it will cause aggravation. Sebastian Can only do so much, staff need to be trained to be confident in saying 'I don't know, let me check.'. After more than a week we checked out and went to another hotel, regrettably. The hotel generously acknowledges Diamond level Hilton honors members with a bountiful breakfast and upgrades. It would get a 5 star of two specific people Jaime at the concierge desk and Max at the front desk didn't lie to my face, only to remember correctly when challenged to have the video tape reviewed.

Adam S.

Yelp
The hotel Is very well located. It's very safe to walk around it took me 35 minutes of cab ride from the airport. My room was a junior suite and was large . The bathroom is just ok. The staff is polite and helpful.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for four nights to attend a dear friends wedding. We booked a Master Suite on the 23rd floor that was impeccably clean, with a king sized bed, bathrobes, large bathroom, a separate room with a huge jacuzzi tub (which we used every night), a large living area with couch, love seat, mini bar, large screen TV (in both living area and bedroom) and a dining table with four chairs. There's an espresso coffee machine in the room for that early morning caffeine as well as several tea choices. If you want American coffee, there is a station on the 26th floor that serves coffee all day. 6th floor has a small gym with all the equipment you'd want. There's a garden on this level as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and very, very firm. The double pocket doors leading from the living area into the bedroom close to a completely dark room which we loved. Complementary bottled water is throughout the suite (although the water in the bathroom is potable). There are separate heating/air conditioning units in the bedroom and in the living area. The air at night was a little loud, but we turned off the air in the bedroom and left the living room air on. The view of the park was spectacular. We are Hilton Honors members and had free breakfast every morning on the 26th floor. They cooked fresh made to order omelets and pancakes and offered a plethora or fruit, fresh baked goods, yogurts, piping hot coffee and teas as well as a Mexican breakfast bar. The staff on the 26th floor was incredible. In the evening they host a cocktail hour with free drinks and appetizers. And, the view can't be beaten. The entire staff at this hotel went far and beyond my expectations of any hotel I've ever stayed at. There was someone available to answer any and all questions or needs that we had. They genuinely cared about making your stay perfect. Easy (and cheap) Uber ride to anywhere in the city. The neighborhood is busy with street vendors but safe during the day. I can't speak about safety at night as we did not walk the area after the sun went down. The two restaurants in the lobby of the hotel are top notch and very busy. Book ahead. This hotel is EXTREMELY Covid-19 compliant. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. You can not enter the hotel without wearing a mask AND have your temperature checked at the entrance. The detail and care to cleanliness and their clients health is of utmost important to the staff. All staff are masked throughout the hotel. You can arrange to have a Covid-19 Antigen (rapid) test at the hotel the day before or the day of your flight back to the USA at a cost of 999 pesos ($40-45 US dollars). They showed us the results and the certification was emailed to us, with a picture of the negative test result) by the time we returned to our room. 35-40 minute Uber ride from the airport. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting Mexico City. The location and hospitality at this hotel are bar none and a slice of heaven on earth..

Yelp
Ahhh! Loved this hotel. We only stayed two nights. Would love to come back. As others have indicated, the service is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our king size room was beautiful. The bed quite comfortable. Heating/cooling worked perfectly. Bathroom with tub was beautiful. Everything very clean. The terrace and pool are was luxurious. The gym well appointed. We also found that the hotel was within walking distance to a lot of things we wanted to see, and an inexpensive cab ride to places like the Frida Kahlo museum. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Excellent customer service at this location and This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Mexico City. The only draw back on this hotel is there is NO bar scene, they have such a beautiful spacious terrace but it's not properly used. Would be a cool rooftop bar but don't know why they choose to just plant trees (and it's not like there's rocking chair or benches to sit and take in nature). Their gym is large (on the 6th floor/pool level) and they have lots of equipment: the treadmills (the front row ones are US calculate mph vs the back ones which use kilometers/metric system). They also have a steam room and a hot tub in the women's spa room. The rooms are standard and modern, business casual decor. There is a very popular restaurant downstairs in the lobby that attracts a big crowd on the weekends so get ready to walk around the lines, I have heard fantastic things about it but the only sad thing is it closes so early- 6:30p. This hotel is great and within walking distance to all neighborhoods if you love walking!

Yelp
This is probably one of THE best hotel stay experiences I have ever had! The location is perfect, walking distance the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the lively downtown area with shops that leads to the Zócalo and walking distance to the MetroBus on the main street. There's also a mercado across the street that comes to life at night with dancing, desserts and vendors. The hotel is very modern, clean and full with friendly staff that are truly willing to help you in any way that they can. It must be a popular hotel because for three of the days I stayed, there were company convention meetings, and flight attendants and pilots were seeing checking in and out daily. I had an executive room with two queen sized beds with a beautiful view from the room. The beds were beyond comfortable and I couldn't have been more satisfied with my night's sleep. The room cleaning service was outstanding that a tip everyday is worth it. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to family and friends!

Yelp
Highly recommended! My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was reasonable but lots of food selections. The room was specious, and the view was very nice from the room. They do not exchange the currency at the hotel, but there was ATM. Overall, my experience was good.

Yelp
Centric, comfortable and hosts a great Mexican rest (El Cardenal) right here for guests to enjoy. We stayed here during the holidays and the hotel is really centric to many of the city's famous spots and restaurants. The staff was so kind and helpful; everyone we came across went out of their way to make our stay special. They have a Mexican restaurant in the lobby famous with locals and tourist alike (El Cardenal), and for Hilton Honors members they have free breakfast and happy hour which was a highlight during our stay as the view from the lounge on the 26 floor is great. Downside here is the spa, not super well equipped and was hard to get an appointment at the salon. Also the water pressure it's not US standards which is fine with us but might not be what other American guest expect out of a Hilton Hotel

Yelp
What an oasis right in the middle of the concrete jungle that is Mexico City. Located in Paseo Reforma across the street from El Parque de la Solidaridad and less than 2 blocks from Bellas Artes is this wonderful hotel. Service is top notch from the moment you arrive. On the ground floor you'll find a bakery, the legendary El Cardenal restaurant, a bar, and even a gift shop which is a throwback to the old school glamour hotels. If you need Mexican pesos you also have the option to withdraw from the in-house ATM or the front desk can exchange currency for you. The check in service was easy and the team was absolutely pleasant. I stayed on the 10th floor in a roomy corner suite with views to the park. It was extremely clean, spacious, and quiet. Note that if you want access to the mini bar you'll have to call the front desk to come and unlock it for you. The hotel has a spa on the 6th floor as well as an indoor pool and the Terraza restaurant. Ok, the spa is amazing! I sent mom for a full spa day complete with a hot stone massage, mani and pedi and she was beyond relaxed. I got a little jealous and scheduled in my own 80 minute Swedish massage for the next day and thought I died and went to heaven! They even gave me chlorophyl infused water for detox prior to my massage and post massage -- a lavender and chamomile tea. The full staff at this hotel deserves props for the respectful and welcoming manner they treat their guests with. They only enhanced my stay and made me feel at home.

Yelp
I stayed in this hotel April 2019. The best Hilton hotel I have ever stayed at. The employees were very nice and helpful. I loved my stay here! Can't wait to return.

Yelp
I stay here 2-4 times/year for work, and it's consistently excellent. Staff are friendly, professional, and the breakfast buffet is a FANTASTIC mix of Mexican, US-style, and international choices. The gym is well equipped with a lot of machines in good order. I love the location, which is handy to all sites in the historic center, and the Alameda across the street is lovely. One observation for management: recent decor changes in the lobby feel like too much--amateur paintings, decorative objects on every surface, enormous screen above the bar. It feels busy, and does not reflect the high quality and sophistication of the hotel.

Yelp
Stayed at the Hilton Reforma for two nights on a recent trip to Mexico City. The special honors check-in is a great, personal touch. They even delivered fresh truffles to our room! We decided to split our time in Mexico City between two hotels to get to experience different parts of town. I'm so glad we did! The hotel is conveniently located near a large park, street vendors, and a ton of museums. The room was bright and modern. Everything is updated.

Yelp
Great hotel in Mexico City. Got there way before check-in, less than 2 hours had our room ready. Excellent location, within walking distance of many of the México city sights. View from 25th floor looking over reforma.

Yelp
Night of the Living Dead. First the good: great staff, beautiful hotel, wonderful location. Then the temperature control. Hilton has gone to a "you can't touch this "Temp control", meaning it will not cool unless it detects movement in the room. Too hot to sleep first two nights since, you guessed it, we weren't moving enough at 3 am. Help! I need some walking dead to move around in my room all night long! Multiple complaints and visits from "maintenance men" finally resulted in a confession as to how the system worked and an apology and letter (see photo). And a statement that it had been changed. It IS 2 degrees colder but now it sounds like someone sleeping up there!! Maybe the walking dead are up there!? Rumor has it that all Hilton Hotels have changed to this ungodly system.

Yelp
Upon arrival I was promptly greeted by a bellman who quickly took my bags and escorted me to the VIP check in. As a Hilton Diamond member I was upgraded to a junior suite on a high floor. Check in was fast and easy. Only concern was they authorized more then double the rate on my credit card for the one night stay. They claim it was for incidentals, but seems a bit high. The happy hour in the executive lounge had some nice food and many choices of tequila to choose from. Great views of the city from the room. Overall excellent hotel.

Yelp
Hotel is very reasonable for Hilton brand. It IS centrally located near subway, attractions, markets, arts, museums, only 15-20 mins(due to traffic) from airport). Rooms are clean and quiet. Lots of choices of food and restaurants both cheap and moderate around and in hotel. If lucky to score executive lounge access they have variety of food choices every morning/evening and EVERY staff is incredible. I DID have some issues and they did resolve them.
