The location is stunning — that is what you are paying for. The water and mountain views are exceptional. Unfortunately, the overwater bungalows feel tired and overdue for renovation. The interiors appeared worn, with discoloration along parts of the hardwood flooring that raised concerns about moisture. After running the air conditioning the first night, I developed significant congestion and a cough — disappointing, especially since this was a Valentine’s Day trip we booked back in October 2025. We are Hilton Gold members and were surprised by the overall experience. We were assigned an accessible room (not by request) and told the hotel was sold out while accommodating guests from other nearby properties. The bathroom layout offered virtually no privacy, had no bathtub, and was configured in a way that required one of us to leave the room to use the facilities comfortably. Another frustration was the lack of basic morning coffee service. When we approached the breakfast restaurant to purchase a simple cup of coffee, we were told coffee was only available with the full buffet. At this price point, not offering coffee, light pastries, or any à la carte option was surprising. At this level and under the Hilton brand, we expected far better room quality and guest consideration. The setting is exceptional, but the accommodations and service did not reflect that. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as the property’s location deserves accommodations and service that truly match it.

Great location in Moorea island with beautiful clear water lagoon with coral reefs with plenty of fishes (sometimes with small sharks and rayas). Fantastic villas with intime terraces & small pools built in nice garden or as over-water villas. Restaurants in the hotel ar serving not super-quality cuisine, but breakfasts are quite ok. Stunning sunsets views.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Moorea and can’t recommend it highly enough. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The location is absolutely spectacular, with breathtaking views, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated: comfortable, modern, and perfectly integrated into the stunning surroundings. The restaurants are excellent. I especially loved the overwater Crêperie, where I had the best crêpe Suzette of my life. Lunch was also great, and Raimana was wonderful, providing attentive and friendly service that made the experience even better. The facilities are top-notch, including the spa, gym, and swimming pool. I had one of the best massages of my life at the spa with Aurore. She is extremely knowledgeable and made the experience exceptional. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend the Hilton Moorea for an unforgettable stay in paradise. 🌺

We stayed here during our stay at Moorea. We stayed in an OWB and was very pleased with the location, room and service. The resort is conveniently located a walking distance from a few snack shops, but like most places on the island you really need a car or scooter. It is however located perfectly near some of the best snorkeling- just out side your bedroom :-) so you can’t go wrong here. The rooms were very cozy and nice and “Tahitian.” The staff was also very responsive to every need and question, and went above and beyond on many occasions. Other notes is the fitness center needs an update and the dinner was mid, but the breakfast buffet was amazing. If not an Air BnB, I’d stay here again without question.

My daughter and I just spent 5 days at this beautiful resort. The staff here are very friendly and helpful - thanks Azusa for making us feel so welcome on our arrival. The location is fabulous, situated with a private lagoon which is ideal for snorkelling and kayaking. The water is shallow and calm and you can see a large array of different tropical fish just 5m from the shore line. Thank you Tehuto and Tomatoe at the snorkelling / towel counter for your help and interesting information, we enjoyed speaking with you. We went to the Crepe Bar for dinner a couple of evenings (highly recommend) and were entertainer by huge Jack fish swimming right under the deck below us. We also booked for the Polynesian show and buffet one evening ($105US p/person). I’m so glad we did this, the show was really entertaining and the food was delicious. Our garden bungalow was very comfortable complete with our own plunge pool and the beautiful traditional woven ceilings are just amazing. There’s a cute little outdoor cafe bar as you turn right out of the resort about 5-10 mins walk down the road (opens after 11am) they do great smoothies too if you want to try something different. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this resort and hope to return again.

Imagine: warm ocean, overwater bungalows, the hotel’s own coral reef with exotic fish and stingrays, excellent food, free snorkeling gear and kayaking, and amazing personnel.|I don't know, maybe we were too lucky, but I genuinely cannot find a negative point during our stay. Alright, perhaps too pricy, but you kinda feel like you are paying for what you're getting.|We visited with a family of four. Lived in a bungalow suite - which was very clean, spacious, with a refilling bar and personal pool.

I first stayed at this hotel right after COVID restrictions lifted and I absolutely Loved it. Key to this place is if you want quiet a really good beach and a fantastic reef to dive at, Then this is a good place. Even if you go 200 yd off shore you're still only in water 7 feet deep. Plus the coral reefs just keep getting more complicated and lovely the further out you go. This time I was on the island on a house rental so I bought a day pass, $170. Included a 2 course lunch and all the beer, soda, and juices you want. Include snorkeling gear as well as access to the kayaks and paddleboards; Plus towels in the pool. Just lovely. Even saw a very healthy sea turtle about 200 yd out.

We just returned from Hilton Moorea and absolutely loved our stay. The location is stunning, but what really made it special for us was the snorkeling right from the villa. The amount of coral and fish is incredible — colorful, healthy, and everywhere you look. One morning we even saw eagle rays, which was unforgettable. We’ve stayed at several resorts in Bora Bora, and honestly, we enjoyed the snorkeling here even more.||The lagoon is calm and clear, perfect for spending hours in the water without needing any excursions. It felt relaxed and connected to nature rather than overproduced.||The service deserves special mention. It wasn’t stiff or scripted — it felt genuine. Everyone was kind and welcoming, but Oline at the front desk truly made our stay special. She remembered us, helped with little details, and made us feel like guests, not room numbers. Those small moments really mattered and turned this into a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us.||If I had to mention one small downside, the room is a bit dated — but it was very clean, comfortable, and didn’t take away from the experience at all.||We would happily return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hilton Moorea, especially if you love ocean and a more authentic island feel.
