Hilton Munich Airport

"Fresh off a 2017 renovation that added 162 new rooms, the Hilton Munich Airport now has 40 percent more space than it did pre-face lift. Not that you would've felt cramped before: the hotel, which is within walking distance to Terminals 1 and 2, is known, in part, for its stunning, full height glass atrium, along with its manifold relaxation spaces, which include the steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and 17-meter heated indoor pool at the Fit & Fly Spa. Interiors are Alps-inspired, a natural choice given the airport's proximity to the stunning mountain range, and bits and pieces of the landscape have managed to find their way into guest rooms in the form of materials including light oak wood, natural stone, and felt. The hotel's fine dining restaurant, Charles Lindbergh, throws a nod to its well-traveled patrons not only in name: it serves up globally-inspired dishes and weekly themed buffets that might include anything from sous-vide veal (said to be a favorite of the Emperor Franz Joseph) to a Route 66 brunch buffet."

Hilton Munich Airport (Munich, Bavaria) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Most airport hotels are nothing special, but the Hilton Munich Airport is a notable exception. The building is a significant one, a 1990s design by the late German-American architect Helmut Jahn. And though it’s got a captive audience, by virtue of its location between terminals 1 and 2, it nevertheless goes the extra mile to appeal to travelers, with stylish, contemporary Alpine-inspired rooms, a spa to soothe harried passengers’ nerves, and the twin modern-Bavarian Mountain Hub restaurants, one a whisper-quiet fine dining establishment and the other a more casual venue for a lively, social experience." - Tablet Hotels

7 design-inspired airport hotels to visit around the world - SilverKris

"A long-standing favourite for frequent flyers, this art-deco–inspired hotel centers on a soaring atrium with 60-foot palm trees and recently refreshed guestrooms. The new rooms channel Alpine influences—pine-green tones, wood plank walls and sleek leather headboards with hand-stitched mountain outlines—and the property offers wellness options like a Fit & Fly Spa package, hot stone massages and an indoor heated pool." - Dana Ter

We stayed at Hilton Munich Airport before flying back to the U.S., and it was exactly what we needed. As Hilton Honors members, we were upgraded to a King Executive Room in the North Wing and received Executive Lounge access, though we did not end up using the lounge.||The room was beautiful, spacious, and very well designed with modern amenities including the lighting options. It was impressively quiet despite being right by the airport. The bed was extremely comfortable with fluffy pillows and a thick comforter, and the room felt clean with lots of space to place your bags. A nice touch was the bathroom setup, which included both a bathtub and a walk-in shower, along with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. There were even built-in speakers in the bathroom, which was an unexpected detail.||Check-in was smooth, and the front desk associate was friendly and welcoming when we arrived in the late afternoon. Breakfast was a solid continental spread with good-quality options and is served until 10:00 a.m., though they do close promptly and were turning guests away right at that time.||The on-site restaurant, Mountain Hub Social Dining, is a beautiful space and the food was solid. There is also a happy hour at the bar from 5:30–7:00 p.m., which is convenient if you arrive in the evening though we didn't get a chance to try it. ||One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is the location. Terminal 2 is just a very short walk across the street (maybe 5 minutes), and there was even a small Christmas market outside, which was surprisingly good. Terminal 1 is about a 15-minute walk, and with luggage you can easily take the elevator downstairs and walk straight across. Terminal 1 also has several shops and a grocery store, which is great for picking up last-minute souvenirs or snacks.||Check-out was quick and easy. Between the spacious and quiet room, comfortable bed, cleanliness, friendly service, and unbeatable proximity to the airport, I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it for anyone with an early flight or overnight layover in Munich.

Google
The Hilton Munich Airport undoubtedly benefits from an excellent location, especially for travelers with early morning flights. The ability to walk directly from the hotel to the terminal is extremely convenient and significantly reduces travel-related stress. The wellness area is another strong point, offering a pleasant and well-maintained space to relax after a long journey. Unfortunately, once again, the overall experience did not justify the high price. Despite having raised this issue several times in previous reviews and directly with staff, we again found that our room was missing both bathrobes and slippers. After arriving at the hotel in the evening and looking forward to unwinding in the wellness area, the last thing I want is to call reception and ask for basic amenities that should already be in the room at a hotel of this standard. The rooms themselves also feel tired and poorly maintained. The extensive use of textiles, particularly carpets, was accompanied by visible stains, creating an impression of inadequate cleanliness. During a previous stay, even after requesting two bathrobes, only one was delivered, which highlights a recurring lack of attention to detail and consistency in service. While the location and wellness facilities are clear advantages, the price is not justified by the overall quality of the accommodation and service. Given these repeated experiences, we will choose alternative options in the area next time, which offer comparable comfort at roughly half the price. Hilton needs to significantly improve cleanliness, service quality, and attention to detail in order to meet the expectations associated with its brand.

Google
Unbelievable location, the whole layout of Munich airport makes everything connected by a small walk, and the hotel is right in the centre. It's the most convenient airport hotel I've ever stayed at. Runway view rooms have a great view of course. The staff are all very kind and competent. The breakfast was fine. Great value too, overall a very good stay.

Google
Very nice Hilton property. Location is right on the Munich airport and is within walking distance to the terminal. We had two rooms, one of which was an accessible room. The accessible room had all the features we needed for my wife's mother. As our stay was short, we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the other amenities at the hotel. Staff was polite, friendly, and very professional.

We stayed at the Hilton Munich Airport for two nights in early October. It was our last two nights after a two week vacation and turned out to be an excellent choice! The price wasn't horrific for an airport hotel and the rooms seemed to be fairly recently renovated. They were clean and extremely well laid out! The rooms are large by European standards and during the last renovation they made some excellent architectural choices. Opposite the bed was a long wooden bench that could be used for seating or parking several oversized suitcases at a very usable height. The separate table and chairs served us well and the bed and other furnishings were very comfortable and very well designed. The rain head and shower wand in the bathroom covered any needs. The breakfast that was included in our rate was excellent as well. The location of this hotel IN the airport while simultaneously being nearly on top of the S-Bahn station that takes you into the city center can simply not be beat. The hotel staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. Overall, a really superb stay and excellent value. Recommend this VERY highly.

Google
Very disappointing experience, mainly because of the staff. We checked in on January 3rd at around 11:00 PM (23:00), so it should be easy for management to identify who was working at the reception at that time. Lisa did the check-in and was very nice. While waiting at reception, we noticed that the other dark-haired staff member was very rude and had a bad attitude toward other guests. We had booked a room with a king-size bed, but were given two separate queen-size beds. The room itself was exceptionally nice, although some basic amenities were missing (bathrobes, slippers, cotton swabs, and only one shower cap for two guests). The next issue was the minibar. It was completely empty. I scanned the QR code in the room and saw three complimentary items (drinks and snacks) listed there (I have a screenshot). I assumed they were included in our stay because it was written as free. Since it was not possible to order via the website, we went to reception. The receptionist told us that this was a “website error” and that the price was 45€. Her response was irritated and unfriendly. I also noticed that she spoke in the same rude manner to other guests. There were two receptionists: Lisa was very kind and positive, but her dark-haired colleague was extremely rude and unprofessional. The biggest issue was the attitude at reception. One receptionist (dark-haired) was very rude and irritated, not only with us but also with other guests. There was also incorrect information about complimentary minibar items in the app, which was explained to us in an unfriendly way and turned out to be a “website error”. I was already in a bad mood because of this situation, but Lisa was extremely friendly and professional. She was kind, gave me a small chocolate, and really tried to fix the situation after her colleague had completely ruined my mood. Thank you, Lisa — she truly made a difference. In the morning, we went to breakfast, which we had paid for in advance. We arrived 10 minutes late and were not allowed to enter at all. I truly don’t understand the issue, as the restaurant was still full of guests. At the very least, I should have been allowed to have a coffee and a croissant that I had already paid for. Frankly, it’s embarrassing that when the hotel makes mistakes (wrong room, incorrect information in the app), it’s treated as “not a big deal”, but when a guest is 10 minutes late, it suddenly becomes a matter of principle.

Google
Short easy walk to the airport. Spacious rooms with good amenities. Service was fine but we only had a very fleeting stay and the 4 rating reflects limited experience rather than a negative one. I booked this hotel for 3 stays . Pricing can vary widely so depending on what one had to pay, one’s level of satisfaction would probably vary but it is an unbeatable location for quick access to airport .

Google
Convenient location for a 20hr layover allowing us to explore Munich for the day. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only disappointment to our stay was to find multiple charges on our credit card for the hotel bar/restaurant which we never went to. It definitely soured our experience and confidence in the Hilton.**Update, the charges were refunded, however, with fluctuating exchange rates we ended up not receiving a full refund for each unauthorized credit card charge. While it’s not a large amount, it is very disappointing and has ensures we will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Yelp
We travel to this part of the world most summers and it has become a habit to end our stay with a relaxing day or two at this wonderful hotel. We are Hilton Diamond members, and it is a rare stay that we're not upgraded to a room in the Executive tower, which again was the case in July when we took advantage of a free night offer. But regardless, they take care of us. If you get in early before your room is available, they're happy to store your luggage in the mean time. As many others have noted, the hotel is clean and modern; I believe it was refurbished after the pandemic. Room controls can take a little figuring out. The beds are extremely comfortable and the soundproofing is impressive. The bathrooms are large and there's plenty of storage. Rooms are also of good size. This location has a very pleasant executive lounge on the ground floor that you can access either with sufficient HHonors status or if you book a room in the executive wing. It has a nice outdoor area - you wouldn't think that would work at a hotel that is connected to the airport - and it's always nice to take advantage of the evening small buffet and enjoy a glass of wine or a Hoffbrau bier as the sun begins to go down. There's a restaurant on-site that serves an excellent breakfast buffet (pricey if not included in your room rate), and another gourmet restaurant open limited days/hours that's earned a Michelin star. Room service is available, but we take advantage of the options in the airport itself. As noted, the hotel is right on the airport grounds - Terminal B is immediately adjoining, but it's only a short walk to Terminal A. You have access to all of the shopping and dining in the airport, and the S-bahn station is easily accessible.

Yelp
Convenient! It's a short walk from the hotel to the terminal. We had an early morning flight, so we chose to stay here. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was also a bathtub, which the other hotels we stayed at in Europe didn't have.

Yelp
We had a one night stay at this Hilton on our way back to the States after a river cruise vacation. There were definite pros and cons. Pros--the location: The hotel is actually on the airport property. We arrived via the S train and did not need a taxi or hotel airport shuttle. The hotel is bright and modern. The beds were comfortable. I ordered room service and the food arrived promptly. The spaetzle with cheese was filling and good. The place seemed well insulated from a sound perspective--we did not hear plane traffic. Cons-they were usually backed up at the counter downstairs for check-in & check out. We were unable to print boarding passes from the lobby computer. While the rooms were well equipped in many respects, there were some odd aspects. Most hotels will leave at least one bottle of water. There was no bottled water in the room, and there were no water glasses or even plastic cups in the bathroom to use tap water. You would need to use a ceramic coffee mug from the instant coffee hot water pot to even brush your teeth. (My husband recycled a McDonalds cup). There is a lobby bar, but the restaurant was not open when we checked in at 3 and did not open until 6. The menu seemed limited, and prices were high. So, book for the convenience of the location but not for amenities.

Yelp
This hotel is incredible. The staff is kind and accommodating. They keep the hotel extremely clean and the room was quiet. You'd think you'd hear every plane go by but on the contrary, you don't even hear your neighbors. The bathroom and room were stunning. It's an extremely hospitable hotel and I think it's a great representation of the German people. Thank you for having me.

Yelp
I had a long layover on my flight back to Los Angeles. I stayed at the Hilton Munich Airport and absolutely loved it! The hotel is very beautiful and extremely clean! The room was spacious and had a very modern feel to it! I visited the spa this morning and it felt like I was the first one to ever use it! I couldn't believe how clean it was! I didn't want you to leave! The staff throughout the hotel was extremely friendly! The only minor issue I had was with the hot water in the shower in my room. It was hot, but I like scolding hot. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when the need arises.

Yelp
Arrived around midnight and had a flight the next morning. From arrival, the lady at the front desk was very pleasant & welcoming. We checked in with no problems & the halls were very quiet. When we entered the room, everything looked newly renovated & very clean. I loved how it had two bathrooms. The room was also very spacious. Two things I didn't like too much was that the "all night" room service did not have a lot of options on it .. I think maybe like 4 or 5 things which most of them I didn't eat. Another being, the TV had "English" options but nothing played in English. Quite annoying for English speakers - I ended up just turning it off. Other than that, I would definitely stay here another night if I'm in town.

Yelp
We are regular Hilton members... This hotel is one of the best, impressive for its location, and amenities... the rooms are state of the art and beautifully upgraded... sound proofing is amazing which it needs to be at the airport... spa is fully equipped and exercise machines are good.

Bora S.

Yelp
Great hotel for staying! I am amazed with the cleanliness and great service. Room was exceptional. If you are planning to stay at this location you need to try their breakfast. OMG! It's superior. Make sure spend extra time and enjoy it. Great job team Hilton!
google avatar

Yelp
We stayed here on our last night in Germany. The hotel literally connects to Munich International Airport, so the location couldn't be better if you're flying out. The hotel is so well insulated that we didn't hear a single plane take off or land. The staff is friendly and so accommodating. They loaned us a wheelchair for my father in law while we were there. The spa and restaurant are top notch. Breakfast is a must. It's amazing. I only wish we had a few more days there. It's perfect if you've rented a car, as the rental return/pick up is connected to the hotel as well. You don't even have to go outside.

Patricia E.

Yelp
Be more considerate for exhausted senior citizens with reservations who would like to check in early but who were made to wait from 8:40 am until the listed checkin time of 2:00 unless they were.willing to pay an additional 50 euros to wait in a lounge area.
google avatar

Yelp
3/4/23 - checked in and will update later. See some photos. Going out to explore and will update more. Great room, the executive room is huge for complimentary snacks and drinks. Customer Service is excellent. The young ladies working the desk are all beautiful and provided helpful information for me to get around town. I'm looking forward to the breakfast before flying out soon. Room is great. There is a grocery store between the airport terminals and the hotel. All within a 5 minute walking pace. Great location. I don't hear any planes as well!! 5 Stars. massages are 15% off as well. Love the Hiltons. I couldn't rate the Montenegro Hilton because it's not on Yelp. I would given that place a 5 Star as well.

Paul D.

Yelp
Not good at all. Hilton management will try and take advantage of you at this site! I was traveling to Pfronten and wanted something close to the airport for my landing and departure. When I made my reservation somehow my departure room was not booked. Upon checking in I had to book at the front counter so I would have a room when I returned. The clerk was impatient and rude with me as I looked to for my booking information trying to understand why my room wasn't booked. He offered to book the room for me, but the booking fee went from 200 Euro to 490 Euro! The clerk said it was because there were very few rooms left. I booked and went to my room to check online. When I got to my room it was hot, stuffy, and humid, about 30C, it was nighttime in March and cold outside, so definitely not due to hot weather. The AC was going full speed set at 20C, and still blowing warm air into the room. I called down to the front desk and they sent a technician who reset the AC unit and said it would cool down in about 15 minutes. The technician was friendly and helpful, and I hoped he was right. I sat down and checked the online bookings for the same room for my return trip and found the same room for 304 Euro, and many rooms available despite the clerk saying only a few rooms were left! Still highway robbery, but I booked this room. In the meantime, the temperature had not dropped in the room at all, and the blower was still blowing warm air, so I called down to the front desk. They offered to change out my room, and I asked if I could also borrow a Euro power adapter. From most of my travels I'm aware many hotels are willing to share these if you ask politely. They offered to sell me one, despite all of the issues with my stay so far not a single concession was offered. At this point my frustration is very high, I maintained my composure, but said my experience at this hotel has been very poor, and I will never book another Hilton, and I did not feel like I was being treated well by the hotel. He apologized (barely) and offered to lend me the adapter. I went to the front desk, where I found another frustrated customer whose water was not working in his room, and they were working to correct the issue, so I feel like the current operations here are barely under control, and the staff must be frustrated and tired of dealing with unhappy customers. I cancelled my 490 Euro booking, and the new room was clean and comfortable. The AC was still sub par, and I am not picky about temperature, living in a warm area of California full time with no AC. At least the window opens, so you can get cool air if the weather cooperates, but proximity to the airport means you will smell jet exhaust if the wind direction is not in your favor. Even with the window open the room never got below about 23C. Overall, a very poor experience with hostile front desk staff, that really turned me off of Hilton. Having rarely stayed at one, I will be avoiding Hilton at all costs going forward.

Yelp
Perfect location and so easy to access from airport. You can walk from the airport to get here. Rooms are nice and super clean. We are Gold so breakfast is included which was great. There is lots of eating places to access and train station too. Definitely recommend if you want convenience and if you are here for short stay. Staff is nice and they all speak English.

Shelly Y.

Yelp
Just stayed the night for a long layover. Was told they cannot book 3 people in a room without paying for a rollaway bed. It was for me and my husband and my sister. Room had 2 beds. Enough for 4 people by U.S. standards. They insisted on charging a rollaway bed for 65 euros, they claim it's "policy" We get to the room, shower gel was empty. Had to wait for staff to bring it to our room while my sister waits in the shower.

Yelp
Convenient, luxurious, and welcoming, the Hilton Munich Airport has very stylish, comfortable rooms, a friendly bilingual staff, and a Michelin rated restaurant in Haus. You literally walk out the doors and right into the square between terminals at the airport. This hotel makes my life so much easier!
google avatar

Rich S.

Yelp
One of the nicest Hilton's I've ever experienced! Comfortable rooms complimented by modern utilities, nice mattress, and mostly clean (bathroom shower displaying mold creep, though). Spa was an A+, and all staff were exceptionally kind and professional. Only negative was adjoining room noise, likely due to poor sound dampeners during construction, and the sticker shock of a 34€ BFast buffet (don't most travelers just want a quick and solid BFast while on the road?). Otherwise, we'd definitely return! Cheers! RS

Yelp
Have stayed here several times over the years and never were disappointed. Ideal location to reach and stay overnight, before boarding a plane across the pond next morning. Such a convenient location, allowing a stress-reduced check-in before the ensuing ordeal of between 22 to 26 hrs travel to reach one's home on the east-shores of the Pacific. Last used 16/17 July 22. unfortunately though encounter difficulties. Upon discussing issues, both at check-out, as well as via telephone days later; Hilton graciously remedies the flaws to our fullest satisfaction. WE shall be BACK! Bravo Ingo S.

Yelp
For an airport hotel, this is what you would want. Location to terminal is perfect. Staff is wonderful, rooms are quiet and exceptionally clean. Down side is due to Covid, limited extras. Pool/spa is not available, dining options are limited but well done. I've stayed here a couple of times and have never been let down...
google avatar

Yuko H.

Yelp
Best airport hotel ever! I stay at an airport hotel for work and this was the best airport hotel I've ever stayed. Especially their north building, recently completed is the state of the art technology. Everything runs on touch panel including toilet. Yes you use touch panel to flash the toilet. They don't have executive lounge here but they said I can take anything I want from the mini bar fridge. Although I didn't take any, they have two kinds of bottled beer and two kinds of soda, still water and water with gas inside the mini fridge. Restaurant serves breakfast was amazing. Staff was very helpful. Only 3 mins walk to the terminal, 4 mins walk to S-bahn station, can't get any better location than here.

Mike B.

Yelp
Great servicea, clean rooms. Prices are a tad high but it's at the airport so very convenient if you need a place for a lay over flight. A hint to save a little money. Say it's only one person. They charge PP.
google avatar

Ruth C.

Yelp
No concierge lounge...I was told it is under construction due to Hilton taking over this property but that was over 2 years ago? Guess it's going to be a spectacular lounge! The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Maybe I enjoyed it too much since I planned on going swimming and to the workout area, but never made it to either. What was another unique and amazing part of my stay was the breakfast in their restaurant. It was absolutely decadent. Every option of food was there. Bread variety was like a bakery. Marinated salmon, smoked salmon, trout. Eggs, waffles, salad bar, I just can't remember them all. So many different cool juice combination choices, still water, sparkling water, coffee of course... But the best and main reason I stayed here was its location. Right at the Munich Airport. Loved the convenience to just walk a few steps and I was in Terminal 2. I hope some day in the future I will have the opportunity to stay here again It was the perfect way to end my stay before heading back home!

Yelp
This hotel was godsend after a long flight. Directly between terminal 1 and terminal 2, most convenient in regards to the fact that it is practically part of the airport. Our flight arrived around 9am, instead of continuing our travels via train we decided to stay a night to recover from exhaustion. They were able to accommodate us at the last minute with a deluxe room, without a reservation, as well as allow us immediate check in. Everything about the deluxe room was luxurious and comfortable. All the controls were touch screen, from the light switches, to the air condition, to flushing the toilet. The bed was incredibly comfortable but my favorite feature was the tub and the rain fall shower. I felt like I was in a spa :) Couldn't have hoped for more perfect way to recover from jet lag. We also got the breakfast buffet at the Charles Lindbergh restaurant across from check in. Phenomenal food and service all around. We will definitely stay here again for our early return flight.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best Hilton properties in Europe. My flight got cancelled for two days so I ended up staying here for three nights. They upgraded me to the corner room which was very nice. The breakfast in the executive lounge wasn't good but the restaurant one was good. When I checked out around 6:40am, there was only one staff at the counter and I had to wait 20 min to check out which could've improved, but the location was the best. I'll probably stay here again if I have an early flight or late arrival.
google avatar

Yelp
Location was just perfect, hotel was beautiful, rooms were spacious. Great Executive Lounge - service was great there! Check in was a bit cumbersome, very transactional, nothing special.

Yelp
We had a great time at the airport hotel! It's a great location (to depart early in morning/noon) without the rush to get to the airport because it's right there! We got upgraded, received complimentary drinks and breakfast (most likely due to my status as a Hilton member) but everything was great. 4th floor with great views, never slept better and room was totally quiet. The breakfast buffet was great, finally great coffee, fresh rolls and bread, local cold cuts, salads, salmon, jams, Müsli, juices etc. Most unique was the honey!! Will be back

Yelp
I have stayed here numerous times, and it's always been convenient and had clean and decent rooms with good sound insulation from the outside airport. Well, I just arrived for the first time in at least a year, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I'm in a brand-new room in a new building (not too far from the same check-in desk). The new room is much more stylish and up to date than the other rooms, particularly the bathroom area. Finishes are quite high end, furniture is of good quality, and my queen bed appears to be a genuine queen bed -- not two singles placed side-by-side, as is annoyingly commonplace in Europe. Other nice features include a rainshower shower head, decent-sized LG flatscreen on a swivel mount and individual digital controls for the thermostat. Will have to see how the rest of my experience goes, but so far, four stars!

Megan S.

Yelp
I don't have so much to say about this place except for the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I arrived at 2am in the morning after a chaotic trip up here and easily found the hotel (reservation was already made) situated right next to Terminal 2. The staff was super friendly and helpful despite being the middle of the night. I settled in quickly and fell asleep comfortably in the large and modern room (trust me, the modern part was a big deal as the last Hilton I stayed in in the Florida Keys was so outdated). The next morning I enjoyed their breakfast buffet (it runs 34 Euros per person but was included in my stay) and it was probably the best breakfast I've ever had. They had kombucha, green avocado smoothies, different types of eggs, delicious breads (a massive variety) and toppings, fresh fruit, bircher muesli, etc etc. So many choices and I wish I could have sat there for hours just enjoying myself. The wait staff was friendly and helpful and brought over drinks right away. I had the hotel for two nights but caught a train later that evening. I really enjoyed the room, atmosphere, etc. I will definitely be back here if needing a hotel around the Munich airport area.

Yelp
At first, I was a little disappointed that my company booked me at the airport hotel. I'd generally prefer to stay in the city closer to all the sights. But I actually very much enjoyed my stay here!! A lot of hotels are called "airport" hotels, but this is one of very few to actually be on the airport property. No shuttle buses or taxis required! Right in between MUC Terminal 1 and 2! Since it's at the airport, there's a variety of shops and restaurants that are within walking distance (albeit airport prices) and the S-bahn station is right there too. When my flight arrived, it was nice to be able to dump my luggage right away at my hotel room and set off into town on the S-bahn. In general, the hotel seemed pretty swanky. The standard room was very spacious and well-appointed. I really liked the light switches next to the bed (though a power outlet or USB plug would be a perfect addition to this location). A robe and slippers were provided, as well as a complementary fancy bottle of water in the mini-fridge. My only complaint was that the carpet was looking a bit old and dingy. But I was completely surprised that I never heard a single airplane the whole night from my top-floor room!! Remember, this hotel is located right between Terminal 1 and 2!! If I fly through Munich again, I would be glad to stay here again (if the price is right, of course)!

Yelp
This is one of if not the best airport hotel I have visited. Modern, attractive and squeaky clean property with large excellent rooms and perfect location just 50 meters from the entrance to Terminal 2 and easy access to Terminal 1. Fantastic and helpful staff. There is an airport brewery/restaurant next door.

Yelp
So far very unimpressed. Have a reservation and have been waiting in line for an HOUR behind a cancelled flight or something. Poor management of customers.

Yelp
A great experience here and a really nice room. It's so nice to not have to get up so early to get from town to meet that early morning flight. Was greeted nicely and the room was ready to go. The TV was broken and they took care of that within 30 minutes. Would definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Yelp
Where to start. I don't mind the construction cause they are adding a lot of rooms and put me on the quiet side. Being Diamond elite my mini bar was free. Probably one of the best breakfasts for a airport hotel in Europe. A chef that didn't burn my omelette! Cold a/c, comfy bed, large room and bathroom. I'm a fan.

Yelp
The hotel is conveniently located close to terminal 2. Receptionist was polite and very courteous and I got my room in less than a minute (very efficient). The key has a code that you use on the elevator and outside the room so you do not need to remember at what floor is your room. Room is clean and very basic. Close by, inside the terminals, there are plenty of restaurants and places to eat. The only downside is that is a little expensive.

Yelp
It is located in between terminal 1 and terminal 2. It is definitely a convenient spot for a layover night. Gym facilities are pretty good. Swimming pool is clean. Breakfast has a decent varieties. Wifi signal is stable. Parking is expensive though. Recommend!

Yelp
Amazing! Worth every penny! I was going by myself with heavy suitcases to Novotel because they made it sound like it was inside the airport, to my (unpleasant) surprise not only it wasn't inside the airport but I had to take a BUS to get to this hotel! And had to buy a ticket for this bus too! Taking a bus with heavy suitcases by myself after an intercontinental flight didn't seat well with me so I tried checking into the Hilton instead. Right away the sweet French check in clerk offered me a nice discount and free WiFi for joining the free Hilton rewards program! She also upgraded me free of charge to a brand new renovated room! I feel like a million bucks now! Ready to take the road to Austria tomorrow after I get my rental car inside the airport a few steps from my hotel! Winning! :)

Yelp
My stays at the Hilton location are always one night and always to make an early flight out, so my experience is limited. Great location and nice clean hotel that is well sorted. There are some dining options that are good, and the rooms are modern and functional. Van to terminals, if needed, but you are pretty close to just about everything related to the airport.

Yelp
Easy access to airport without even going outside. Rooms were modern and clean. Staff were polite. Lots of staff behind the desk but only one helping customers - that was not so cool, but otherwise satisfactory.

Yelp
The hotel is very clean but given that we had to ask for towels and the wifi was down half our trip I score the service of this establishment very low. One star is for a very nice breakfast and one star for cleanliness/ service.

Yelp
This has to be one of my favorite hotels. The staff is attentive, kind and professional. The breakfast is amazing. For you Diamond members, your in-room refrigerator (Stocked free) replaces the lack of a club lounge. Rooms are touch-less modern, no more dirty toilet handles to flush etc. it's located right near the airport train station to get you into the city in almost no time. During Christmas, a very nice Christmas Market is set up, great food and drinks. Just a great hotel with awesome beds for a great nights sleep. Other Hilton hotels should take note on how to operate a first rate hotel.

Yelp
The hotel is within walking distance to both terminals. The room is spacious with a large bathroom. The bathroom does not have ventilation, so the smell from the moment you walk in is not great. The spa area is nice. It offers just what you need to unwind and relax after a long trip. The sauna, whirlpool, and swimming pool are free of charge to hotel guests. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel is well managed, but very expensive. Luckily, there are many restaurants within the airport center to choose from. The staff members are nice and accommodating. It is a convenient location to stay for those traveling to or through Munich.

Yelp
I was sleeping in my room and a some time after 12:am the lights went on and a stranger walked into my room. The hotel response was poor at best. When I checked out in n the morning the staff didn't even know what had happened to me. I never got back to sleep. I never felt safe.

Yelp
Doesn't even deserve one star. Rude to guests. The manager didn't give a shit about anything but making money. Spend ur money elsewhere

Yelp
We stayed at the Hilton Munich Airport the night before we flew home from a two week trip to Germany. Since it is located about 400 meters from terminal 2, we abandoned all hope of a quiet room. To add to the noise, Octoberfest was beginning and loud rock music was playing in the courtyard just outside of the hotel. We always ask for quiet, allergy-free nonsmoking rooms when we travel and to our amazement, our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. In addition, the restaurant is better than expected. They could have gotten away with much worse. I don't know how they did it, but we would definitely stay there again.

Yelp
The hotel itself is nice, the staff are not up to par with a Hilton. Spoke with several staff members and the consensus I got was that the problem is the GM.
