I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Munich Park! The hotel’s location is a bit further from the city center, but it’s beautifully situated next to the English Garden, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere that makes it well worth the distance. The surrounding greenery and views from the room were simply stunning – waking up to such a picturesque setting was a highlight of my trip. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. From check-in to check-out, every interaction felt personalized and genuine. The facilities were top-notch, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was both elegant and relaxing.

Our family just spent several nights here and had a wonderful stay from start to finish! Well-maintained property, nice guest rooms, and friendly and attentive staff. For families with children, I highly recommend booking the family interconnecting rooms. That was a great option for us both at this property and at the Hilton London Bankside. Also highly recommend booking a rate that includes breakfast, since the breakfast buffet is very nice (and because the hotel is in a quiet location near the English Garden that is not particularly close to many restaurants or bakeries). There is a taxi stand right outside of the hotel, which is very convenient. Hats off to the staff and management, and thanks for making our family trip to Munich a wonderful one!

I visited the hotel for two days during a conference and was thoroughly impressed. Although I didn't stay overnight, the daytime experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. The food was both delicious and offered a great variety. A special mention goes to the kind lady running the small shop at the entrance, who was welcoming and added a personal touch to the overall positive experience.

Come here if you enjoy walking along the English garden, or if you love a great executive lounge as a Hilton Honors member, or if you are obsessed with Munich's architectural modernism or if you love a good Bavarian breakfast. The location is convenient to access a few iconic modern housing complexes, though it is tucked quite far away from the city center. We stayed in Oct 2024, and understood that it will be undergoing renovations from Jan 2025 onwards. We visited in autumn, and they served white veal sausage, sweet mustard and pretzels (local specialties). Very delicious. There is a bus service running right outside the hotel too, but one downside is the lacking amenities around.

Google
The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the price is reasonable. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety of options. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Google
Nice hotel - clean and comfortable as you’d expect. Clearly there are more central hotels, so you’ll be using cabs quite a lot - although it’s walkable into the city centre. ||The hotel is nice and quiet and the staff are attentive and very polite. ||Breakfast is busy but there’s a wide range to eat.

Google
Located near the Central Park this is a great western style luxury hotel. Walking distance to many of the sites we wanted to see. The rooms are nice and roomy. Breakfast in the morning is very good. We upgraded to a key floor and were treated to finger food in the evening. We loved our stay.

Google
The hotel’s location was excellent, offering easy access to many key attractions such as CBD, City Centre, Tram, Stadium & making it a convenient choice for travellers. The food was typical of Bavarian cuisine, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained.||However, one downside was the lack of a staff’s friendliness. the reception staff were unhelpful and let me to wait for some hours to check-in it. This lack of accommodation for a guest with Australian culture like me.

Yelp
Excellent hotel- we were lucky enough to have club lounge access. The breakfast in the onsite restaurant is 5 stars, the rooms were relatively large with great views. The club lounge was great for drinks, the snacks were kind of inconsistent- really the only area for improvement.

Estre E.

Yelp
Excellent stay. Rooms were clean, great bedding. Nice breakfast and service. I'm a Hilton Honors members always happy with Hiltons worldwide

Fred C.

Yelp
Nice hotel... Need to get cab or Uber to train or Oktoberfest fair grounds (~$25). Bar is nice and could make the difference, but they seem to be more concerned that every drink is poured to precision ( or less than to their benefit). After multiple nights stay, and spending lots of $$, you would expect some generosity in the drink department.

Yelp
Great four night stay in Munich. Located near the English gardens and a 10 minute drive from the city center, this hotel is the place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with firm beds along with a big bathroom. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Our bartender Thomas is the man to see when it is time sit down a relax with a drink. We had breakfast every morning which was pretty good buffet, although the service here did not meet expectations. The executive lounge is open 0700-2100. We were there during the week and did not notice the weekend hours. During the day, there is water, coffee, fruit and a few snacks. Between 1800 and 2000, they offer make your own mixed drinks, beer, wine, sodas along with different soups and tapas plates. We would stay here again.

H M.

Yelp
This is a really nice hotel that offers a great location along with that typical Hilton hospitality one expects. Super friendly and attentive staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Nice pool and sauna. Had no issues staying here really. Concierge service was excellent. The bartender downstairs was super friendly. The hotel breakfast buffet was decent if somewhat overpriced. The only weird part is the balcony for our room has no handle on the outside and locks automatically upon closing. And the warning for this is quite small and easily missed. Which is exactly what happened to me. Luckily my family was in the room at the time but they were very confused why I was knocking on the sliding glass door the first night and motioning them to open the door. In the US this would violate building code I am quite sure. I wonder how many guests have been stuck on the balcony sans their cell phone and had to cry for help from their hotel room balcony. For this problem I'm docking them one star. This is glaring problem that either needs to be solved with a more prominent warning and a change in how the sliding glass door is built (are they expecting Spider-Man to break into rooms?!).

My bag was being delivered by the airline to the hotel. Upon check-in, aside from the discriminatory behavior from the the front desk check-in, I informed them of this and each and every day for my 3-day stay I followed up. I was told that it had not arrived. I literally wore the same clothes for 2.5 days until I gave up hope and decided to buy essentials and clothing. Upon check-out, I was told my bag had still not arrived. Well, I get to the airport and the check-in agent tells me my bag was delivered a few days ago to the hotel. I immediately called the hotel and ask them to check and lo and behold the bag was there! This situation cost me 700+ euros, countless hours wasted trying to navigate munich to find stores to get clothing, toiletries, and other essentials and not to mention the stress of having my belongings missing. This hotel and it's staff are all a joke. One man told me, "my bag is not a big problem that there are other issues right now" Lastly, On my last night I ordered room service. I called and left the rolling cart outside of my room. I woke up this morning and all the plates were thrown about the floor. Was it because I complained about the cheese dish? Absolutely shocked and will be seeking full compensation for the entire stay and my expenses. Hilton Munich Park and the staff ruined my entire trip.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in a bit of a secluded location. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The daily breakfast was amazing everyday. However I would prefer to stay in a location that is a bit more walk-able so I can walk to restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop located right outside and public transportation is very easy to use in Germany, but I would prefer to be able to take a quick walk if I want to get a meal or something. I did like the fact that there was lots of street parking available, so I was able to save a lot of money on parking. Also the park made for great morning runs.

matt h.

Yelp
Amazing hotel, particularly for a diamond member. The rooms facing the park have fabulous views and the breakfast has tons of variety and everything was delicious. It's a nice walk through the park to all the main sites and I think I actually prefer this location to one that is more central.

Ralph E.

Yelp
Good Location but if you want to use their paid parking be sure to arrive early. Once the garage is closed (8pm) you are stuck with trying to find a spot on the street. This may make your car safe but it definitely limits your options. Lucky that everything is pretty much a reasonable walk since the hotel is limited. They have a single upper tier restaurant and a bar that you can order some food. Many of the staff seemed to be new as I noticed a good deal of trainee nametags. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. Some rooms will have fantastic views as well. I suggest you ask or request if this is important to you. I also noticed there seemed to always be several taxis waiting just down the road. This seems a great location for business travel but I would not recommend it for a vacation.

Karen J.

Yelp
Wow! We spent 5 nights here, the staff was very accommodating and I believe really enjoyed their job, as they were always wanting to assist. We had a package delivered to the hotel and to be picked back up, they were in the spot to let us know if the delivery. The bar is very nice, great drinks and food. Large screen TV to watch soccer games. The rooms were large, and very comfortable. The views from the room were absolutely beautiful.

Melanie M.

Yelp
We only stayed two nights in this hotel, but I loved our stay here! The beds were very comfortable- VERY COMFORTABLE. I'm not sure there is a bad view from any of these rooms. The Executive Lounge had a superb selection and great service. The breakfast was wide and delicious. I think European countries understand hospitality on a whole different level from the US. It was evident with every single interaction we had with all of the staff.

Cary R.

Yelp
I stood here for a week during the Christmas holiday. I unfortunately missed most of the Christmas markets. Chinesischer Turm a beer garden is about a 15 min walk and is located in the English Garden. The hotel was centrally located Uber was just about 10euros to get into the city center. The hotel itself is beautiful. Two restaurants located inside. Marco Polo located on the 15th floor was closed and their other restaurant Tivoli was opened but I never stopped by. We did however make quite a few visits to People's Bar located in the lobby. The hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet. I am not sure of the cost as my fiancée is a diamond member so we do not pay for it. Great hotel service overall and I would stay here again.

Royce L.

Yelp
Nice swanky hotel in a business area in Munich. Not much in the area, at least within walking distance. A few restaurants and shops. The rooms were spacious and nice. Also had a balcony which is always nice. The upside of being in the business area was it was quiet at night. There's also a river and walking path that leads to a Munich Park. The breakfast was great. American and European style options. Eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns. All different types of bread. Slices and rolls. Juices and coffee. There's a clothing store and convienance store in the lobby as well with snacks, drinks, and traveler's items, soap, toothpaste, etc. Room service was also available 24 hours a day but limited menu after 11 pm.

Eduardo M.

Yelp
Excellent service, facilities, and location. The staff has been very friendly and helpful, and the services at the executive lounge are really thoughtful and served with an amazing view of the Englisch Garten. The breakfast buffet also amazing. I look forward to returning in the summer, although the snowy view from a high floor balcony can't be beat. With close proximity to anything you'd want to see or do in Munchen, the only downside I've found is the loud noise from the wind against the windows during most of the night.

Sam S.

Yelp
There used to be a cigar & whiskey bar here but, unfortunately they shut it down, due to regulation :-( Nice bar at lobby called People's but quite expensive drinks :-( Service was a bit erratic at the bar. I cannot comment on the rooms here as I have not stayed here before.

Kathleen L.

Yelp
This is the place I stay every time I come to Munich. Horrible horrible communication in this hotel these days. We were told the executive lounge would be available in the Tivoli restaurant but they failed to tell us the restaurant itself is closed. This leaves you with the only choice for dinner room service or the bar. The bar has very limited cocktail menu (well drinks only) don't do specialty drinks and have a very limited menu and it turned out the limited menu is all that's available at the hotel. I stay here because I expect the Hilton experience We received anything but

angela l.

Yelp
Very efficient and professional staff, make us feel welcome and at home. Love the deco throughout the lobby and in the room. In walking distance-30/45 minutes-to parks and the central old town area. Highly recommended.

Dan C.

Yelp
Very busy Hilton. Location is great, close to public transport, next to the park and easy to get to. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The lounge is clean and maintained throughout the day. Recommend if in the area.

Todd A.

Yelp
Check first with occupancy. Once they are full you won't have hot water guaranteed. Even after the first night of complaints with free drink tickets and upgraded room it still doesn't make up for cold showers.

Thomas S.

Yelp
With a few trips to Munich under my belt, I've found what I can honestly say is the most responsive and respectful hotel in the city. Are there other options available, absolutely, but none compare to the service and hospitality that Hilton Munich Park offers. Any issues, as minor as they have been, were addressed immediately. Notes welcoming me to my room as well as snacks and fruit make each visit like coming to see a friend. I've enjoyed free upgrades, their fabulous breakfast spread, and the lounge. Each trip to Germany gives me a chance to stay a night coming and going. And, because of business trips, I'm limited to certain costs, Hilton Munich Park has been able to accommodate on most occasions. One thing I can't forget to mention is the pool, spa, and gym. After red eye flights, there's nothing like spending some time in the pool or hitting the sauna for great relaxation. If you are seeking an American brand hotel with the hospitality and friendliness of a European hotel or gasthaus, choose the Hilton Munich Park. As for me, I may have another opportunity to visit Germany next month... I'll be in touch! Cheers!

Frances H.

Yelp
Touring the city of Munich was some of the most memorable days of my life. The city is bustling with young, effervescent people, an array of incredible art museums, and expansive green scapes with local families and friends playing games, having picnics, and simply enjoying their magical city. The Hilton, although a beautiful hotel flanking the English Garden park, didn't exactly reflect that friendly vibe that I found surveying the city. You are instantly enveloped into a sleek yet playful environment with an oppressive white tone with neutral hints of color in the furniture and colorful rug. The whimsical light installation plays the main focus of the room and does an incredible job of grabbing visitors' attention within the first few seconds of stepping food inside the hotel. The rooms echo the chic design, while the facilities are top notch packed full with plush towels and robes. However, the workout facility definitely exceeded my expectations not only too many elliptical machines and treadmills to count, but a whole dance studio, too! However, the collective attitude of the staff left much to be desired. Not being one to be labeled as high maintenance or hard to please, I am pretty easy going with customer service and don't reach for the stars. Thus, when someone that doesn't seek great service notices the lack of thereof - it's saying something. The rooms were cleaned, the internet was fast, but the staff - most notably the concierge - were almost outwardly unwelcoming. This, by no means, come anywhere close to ruining my experience in Munich. I also would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting the wonderful city of Munich - just expect a little less enthusiasm in the service, but with a beautiful view of the English Garden and just a quick cab ride to the main plaza, Marienplatz!

L. W.

Yelp
Stayed here during a work trip. The Good: Fantastic views over Munich, the hotel is located next to the English garden and within a short distance to the city centre. Friendly and accomodating staff. Food was of a high standard. The Bad: high prices for wifi access at 10 Euros per day, rooms feel a little dated, esp. the carpet. expensive drinks, and a bathroom with a window going into the room complete with curtain. overall a nice hotel, nothing breathtaking but good for short stays in the city.

Jason E.

Yelp
I redeemed a free night here with my Hilton points. The hotel was nice, but nothing special. I had no problem redeeming my points and although I requested a high-floor room (the hotel has 16 floors including the lobby), I was given a room on the second floor. I was able to check in early (around 1200). The rooms are large and clean but overall the hotel feels very, to use an American English colloquialism, "meh." The lobby is nice and open. Overall the decor feels very early-mid 1990s. A lot of beige paired with blue and pink hues with highly polished "silver" accents (draw pulls, lamps). It could use a bit of updating. As for location, the Hilton is located next to the Englischer Garden which, if Wikipedia is correct, is the largest public park in Europe. I visited in November after a recent bit of snow, meaning I didn't explore the park. If you're looking to hit downtown Munich, such as the Marienplatz and the Cathedral, this is not walking distance from those attractions. A cab ride from the hotel to Marienplatz is about 10 Euros plus tip. I really have nothing to dislike about this hotel, other than high prices for on-site services (6.50 for a small bottle of water from the mini bar, seriously? And no, I didn't get it.). One nice thing is that they had ice machines on each floor, which is a rare find in Europe from what I have experienced. I really didn't care for this hotel, but I have no reason not to like it, my stay was free, the room was very clean, and the staff was friendly, so I can't rate it below 3-stars and feel I have been fair. The bottom line is; the Hilton Park Hotel just wasn't anything worth experiencing again. If you're looking for a memorable stay in München (Munich), look elsewhere.

Saba S.

Yelp
I have stayed at Hiltons all over the world, but primarily in the US, so for this hotel to not be refined as I believe it should be was disappointing. In a nut shell, they just don't do the little things right, or it was coincidence that my group and I had these problems. Let me elaborate: -159 eur/night on a Mon-Tue none holiday. (A bit pricey). -I am a Gold Hilton Honors member, so I received an upgrade...I show up to my room, and the power is out...I have 30 min before dinner (mind you I had been traveling for 24 hours) and there is no damn power! So I call down asking what kind of upgrade is this? I head off to dinner as the electrician starts to work on my room=strike 1. -As I step out of my room, my colleague, who also needs to get to our dinner, can't get into his room...so now he has to go back downstairs to get this fixed, when it should have been right the first time=1/2 strike -I had already told the Hotel restaurant that we needed a table set up for 1845. I show up, and there is NO ONE, waiting for us to sit us or when I walk all the way inside looking for some help. It is dinner time for us, why is there no one around??? It take me 5 min to find a "trainee," who gets someone else to sit us down=strike 2.5 -the food at the restaurant was mediocre. I got the T-bone steak which was not Medium all over, not including it tasted a bit off. Moreover, it took about 45-60 min to get our food. The only two saving graces were the bread spreads (bread was disappointing...no sourdough!) and the waitress who did as well as she could and kept a great smile the entire time=1/2 strike. Overall, I will NEVER be back. There are too many options out there to subject myself to this level of hospitality while traveling abroad. The Hotel manager needs to start supervising and leading. There are a lot of small things wrong other than what I wrote...take care of the details, and the rest will fall into place.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
This hotel is beyond beautiful. Food and drinks were amazing the beds you can sink into. The staff was super professional, helpful and just wonderful to interact with

Frank W.

Yelp
Nice Hilton hotel with an excellent concierge service Checkout the nice wellness and fitness area. They offer massage and also have a pool/sauna area. The massage is just a feel good type of a massage and my wife got a facial treatment here and she was not happy with it.

Jack L.

Yelp
I am here on a work trip and so my review comments are geared toward business travelers. I had stayed at the Hilton Munich City and so I would come back here instead of the other. This property is definitely more for business than the other and has all the compliment of business services that I am accustomed to...executive lounge, business center, free WiFi, large executive room, fitness center, onsite restaurant, and onsite parking. Staff is friendly, but then again, I'm not that picky and I do get executive lounge treatment. It is 5 minutes drive to the city center and so either a taxi or public transportation would work. The English Garden is nice and I did take a run along the river which was very refreshing in late March versus on an indoor treadmill. My room is on the executive lounge floor and has a wonderful view of the Garden. It looks like it was decorated to modern standards with new furniture and flooring. The bathroom is also nicely finished. If you don't have a car or not a business, then stay at the Munich City Hilton. If you do, then stay at this one.

Ralph R.

Yelp
The hotel itself is nice. Rooms were clean. As far as the overall Restaurant operations are concerned, they could definitely be run better. We had breakfast there on Christmas day and it the restaurant seemed in total disarray. My wife and my daughter went down first and I followed. As I tried to walk into the restaurant, the host stopped me and told me there was nothing open and I had to wait. I explained that my wife was already tin there, he looked at his paper and told me that she was not. When he left to go into the restaurant, I went in myself, saw my wife and yet the host tried to tell me I had to leave. I did not. Obviously. That afternoon, we decided to have a drink. The bar did not open until 4 or 5 and the lobby "Cafe" was pretty full with only one server that was totally stressed.

Troy C.

Yelp
The staff is very friendly and professional. I like the location and the fact they had a bar, nice restaurant and a little store to pick up things you may have forgot.

Arun M.

Yelp
Great location if you like to be close to the Chinese tower. It's not so great if you're trying to use the public transportation. I did enjoy my walk from the English garden to the hotel. The rooms are modern and are comparable in size and style of the Hiltons I'm use to in the US. There's even an executive lounge. I also enjoyed the many channels in English especially the movie channels. For the most part I'll come back here.

Chaz D.

Yelp
This would be as nice as any other Hilton - EXCEPT. 1. There is ongoing construction next door that starts at 7am and continued past 7pm some nights. As we were sold a "premium view room" that faced said construction site, we felt deceived. 2. Charging €25.00 per day for internet on a €500.00 room is rubbish and greedy. There is free internet in the lobby, just share it already!! 3. The prices for food on the grounds are out of line with both the local restaurants and the food presented. Very disappointed. 4. The fridge in the room is set up to charge you for buying its contents even if you bump or move the contents to store your own stuff. Say what?? Don't open the fridge unless you want to get charged for things you didn't use. Check your bill carefully. The biggest shame is that the hotel did not inform us about the construction nor offer us a room on the other side of the hotel where it might have been quieter - we couldn't spend more than a few minutes in the room without disruptions.

Solida K.

Yelp
Sad to say ... It's probably one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. I've stayed at worst hotels that have better customer service than this place. From the food and everything . I payed over €100 for dinner at the restaurant tivoli and it was horrible. The food had no flavor what so ever and they couldn't get my husband food cooked correctly. He had order four different times in one day and every single time we ordered we had an issue with the food. They either forgot to give us something or gave us the wrong order. The front desk had hung up on my husband multiple times because he kept having issues with his order. **To be honest the only great thing about this place is that the bar tenders are very interacting! I had a great experience there. *I suggest you go to another hotel. I understand that the Hilton is a well known hotel but this is by far the worst Hilton I've been to sad to say.

Fernando M.

Yelp
Great room for the price at €159 a night. Clean, normal sized twin beds, in room safe, no fridge, and no free wifi. It's €10 a day for wifi, but they do have free wifi in the lobby. Parking is €25 a day which should be included, but unfortunately is not.

Tim H.

Yelp
Look - the hotel is beautiful and in a great area. BUT - it's literally the worst mattress I have EVER slept on (errr...make that NOT slept on). The mattress is cheap and as hard as a board. I don't care about the amenities if I cannot sleep. What a stupid thing to go cheap on for such a beautiful hotel. I am honors member number 966488715 if they want to comment (and NO I don't "want" anything. I just want it addressed as it's such a shame). Just admit you have a real issue here. I would never stay here again for this sole issue.

Sandro A.

Yelp
Hotel is nice. BUT: There's no usable internet here in the rooms. I'm here with a conference, and everyone else I've talked to has the same problem. Even when you just want to view a newspaper homepage, be prepared to wait for several minutes until it loads, if at all. Forget about video, streaming, audio, or even emails with significant attachments. All these problems remain after upgrading to the EUR20/day line, or after talking to the employees for half an hour. The only place where you get usable internet is the lobby.

Chris L.

Yelp
A very nice hotel with a view of beautiful munich architecture. Rooms are standard Hilton - nice and comfortable. Executive lounge has some snacks and breakfast, but you can't beat the weissebier while watching a good football match. Be sure to ask for a room away from the elevators.

Jennifer Z.

Yelp
We stayed here for four nights in September on our reward points - for Oktoberfest no less. The room was pretty nice- spacious and comfortable. We were on the 7th floor with a view over the office buildigns next door and a church spire in the tree tops. There was a smell and I think we both caught a cold from the modly shower curtain. BUT - everything else was great. The front desk staff was wonderful. We were here for my birthday and our tenth wedding anniversary. The staff sent us a bottle of Sekt and a great cake. It was marvelous. We did not eat in the hotel - except for a pizza I ordered for dinner. Pizza was TERRIBLE. Really really bad. And we used the lobby and spa while we were there. It's about 8 minutes to Seegarden biergarten and the bus is just on the south side of the building. We spent a lot of time in Schwabing. I can't wait to return.
