I’ve been staying at the Hilton Nagoya for the past six years, and it’s one of those rare hotels that seems to improve with time. Each visit feels as polished and well-run as the last—if not better.
The service is, quite simply, outstanding. Even by Japan’s famously high standards, the team here is remarkable: consistently attentive, efficient, and professional, making everything feel effortless.
The rooms deserve special mention. The interior design is contemporary, spacious and with quality amenities—modern but understated—and what impresses me most is the condition. Over multiple years, the rooms have been kept in excellent shape, which says a lot about the maintenance team and the cleaning staff.
The room orientation was thoughtfully considered: east-facing rooms for sunrise, west-facing for sunset. It’s a small detail, but it adds to the sense that the hotel is designed to be lived in, not just passed through.
The public spaces are also a major strength. The lobby and the main dining/breakfast area have a bold, high-ceiling atrium feel, with an Art Deco “vibe”. Breakfast at the buffet restaurant is excellent: a well-curated, genuinely varied selection that’s executed at a high level, and the airy atrium space itself makes it a pleasure to start the day there.
Finally, the location is spot on. With Fushimi Station nearby (central yellow line) and a position between Sakae and Nagoya Station, it’s an ideal base for both business and leisure—easy access, great connectivity, and a very practical starting point for exploring the city and the area.
