From the moment we arrived in Hokkaido until the end of our stay, Hilton Niseko Village provided an exceptional experience that far exceeded our expectations. Having stayed at many Hilton properties worldwide (including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and SLH hotels), I can confidently say that this property stands out for its heartfelt service, thoughtful touches, and warm hospitality.|The surrounding environment was serene, peaceful, and refreshingly quiet, with incredibly fresh air that we deeply appreciated as Hongkongers. It was the perfect escape.||Our journey from the airport to the hotel was seamless, thanks to the complimentary door-to-door shuttle service. This convenience was deeply appreciated and made our arrival stress-free.|Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. The moment we stepped off the bus, our luggage was taken care of, allowing us to settle in effortlessly. It was a great first impression of the level of service we would receive throughout our stay.||One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the outstanding service provided by the team. The concierge staff (Amal, Abhishek, and Tam Lee) greeted us with genuine smiles, and we were pleasantly surprised to see such a diverse, multinational team working seamlessly together.||A special thank-you to Eranda, whose exceptional hospitality truly made our stay memorable. He checked in on our plans, helped with restaurant bookings, extended our checkout time to 2 p.m., and arranged a birthday surprise for my daughter. He even provided extra welcome drink coupons to celebrate. These thoughtful gestures made us feel truly cared for.||Another standout was Imasha, who consistently went above and beyond. She served us during our teppanyaki dinner, two breakfasts, and two welcome drink sessions; always with a warm smile and remarkable attention to detail. She surprised us with beautiful fruit plates and desserts and never missed a chance to check in on us, even when simply passing by.||We also want to thank F&B Manager Wisnu, who handed us a lovely thank-you card and a pack of delicious “bye-bye cookies” on our last day. They tasted just like the Mrs. Fields cookies we love and we only wished we received more than one pack!||It was also a pleasure chatting with Adriatik, who had just recently joined the hotel. He stopped by during both our breakfast mornings to greet us and make sure everything was going well.||All of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. While we may not remember every name, we are truly grateful to each and every one of them for making our stay special.||The food at Hilton Niseko was excellent across the board.||Our teppanyaki dinner was a highlight, featuring fresh, well-seasoned ingredients and wonderful service from Chef Mikami. The birthday surprise for my daughter added a heartfelt, personal touch to the evening.||Breakfast was another standout. With a wide variety of options, from Western to Asian, there was something for everyone. We particularly loved the selection of Japanese green teas, including sencha and hojicha, and appreciated the inclusion of Dilmah teas for those who prefer more traditional black or herbal options.|The availability of illy coffee was a thoughtful touch, especially for international guests who may not be accustomed to the lighter, fruitier roast typically found in Japan.||The welcome drink selection was surprisingly generous. We didn’t expect to see wine offered, as many Japanese hotels usually serve only beer or highballs. It was a very pleasant surprise and elevated the welcome experience.||We greatly appreciated that the onsen remains open during the day. Unlike many traditional ryokans that close midday, Hilton Niseko allows guests to relax and enjoy the hot springs at any time, making for a much more flexible and relaxing experience.|The onsen area was always spotless. Staff members were constantly ensuring towels, skincare products, and other amenities were fully stocked. The changing rooms were well-maintained, and the floors kept dry and safe, something we really valued.||While we loved being surrounded by nature, we did notice quite a few bugs, especially in the corners of the gym and near the breakfast stations (e.g., around the fish and egg sections). It’s actually reassuring to know the hotel avoids excessive pesticide use, but some guests may find the bugs a bit surprising.||My daughter flew all the way from Toronto to join me in Japan, especially for her birthday and Hilton Niseko made sure it was a celebration to remember.|From the thoughtful gifts waiting in our room, including Royce chocolates, fresh fruits, and wine, to the birthday cake at dinner and sweet surprises throughout our stay, it was clear that the team truly cared about making her day special. We were genuinely touched by the attention to detail and kindness shown.||Hilton Niseko Village may be “just” a Hilton property in name, but the service, hospitality, and thoughtful attention to detail we experienced rivalled even the most luxurious five-star hotels we've stayed at.||It is the people who make all the difference here. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories and we truly cannot wait to return.
