Extremely quick access to the Niseko Gondola entrance, literally 40ft from the entrance. Delicious breakfast buffet opens at 0630 (1st visit free for diamond members). Very accommodating staff and also live music in the lobby in the evenings with drinks and small food items available via the bar. There was also some free goodies in our fridge when we arrived. Our room was also upgraded to a mountain view to our surprise. There is a ski/snowboard valet as equipment is not allowed in the rooms, I would suggest only valeting skis and boards as sometimes the pickup lines are long, but they do move quickly. The onsen also felt amazing after a long day of rippin pow.

I had a fantastic 5-night stay at this Hilton property, which served as the base for my ski trip to Niseko. If I could give a million stars for location, I would -- the gondola is located mere steps from the hotel lobby doors and this made all the difference to getting fresh tracks on a powder day. As for the property/room, I was initially hesitant due to some of the reviews, however, I found my room to be impeccably clean and surprisingly spacious for two people + lots of luggage. Another highlight is the onsen, which includes both indoor and outdoor (the latter is truly a gem as you soak in the water with mountain views). The onsen, at least for females, also came stocked with spa-like amenities. Niseko Village is a quieter part of the mountain, however, it's convenient to ski from the top to the other bases and the free hotel shuttle was an easy way to get to Hirafu for dinner plans.

Rooms are small but not unusual for Japan. Also very dated, unpleasant color scheme. carpet had some stains. Really odd that the sink is outside the bathroom at the entrance and over carpet that gets wet. Bathroom old but we used the onsen facilities for bathing. Breakfast buffet is decent with a balance of Japanese and western food. Until 10am the only option to get food or coffee on the ground floor is an outdoor kiosk in subzero weather. Biggest pluses is that the gondola is literally steps from the hotel and the onsen. There is not much nearby except small area of shops and restaurants accessed by treacherous icy steps no one seems to maintain.

Hilton Niseko is probably the best hotel for a family...the only issue we had is that beware it's OLD and the rooms are NOT renovated. The rooms are also very small and the bathrooms are worse than cruise ships. The location is outside of town so you need to take a shuttle in to town, wasn't bad, it's free, but stopping at multiple hotels got out after 2 days of rides. The staff was very friendly and nice. The GM was working all the time and around a lot, very friendly super nice guy. Great gathering place in the middle of the hotel lobby but unfortunately you have to buy your food and drinks from the bar there and so there is NO gathering space for families to play cards or gather with their own food/drinks. Drinks are way cheaper in the convenience store...The rooms are too small for families to gather...and no atmosphere either. If we went back we would stay at the Park Hyatt or somewhere in the town instead. I did love that we could walk out and get on a gondola - very good ski in/out. Just expensive food and drinks.....and small rooms, in fact we had to get a third room just so we were not on top of each other. The hotel was clean, the staff was great and always helpful...the onsen was awesome too - but for the money the bathrooms could use an upgrade.

The location is fantastic as it offers excellent ski in/out and valet service with the gondola located right outside the hotel. The hotel’s Onsen was pristine with a beautiful view of the mountain. It was a great place to relax and soak up your tired muscles after a day of skiing. They offer a good variety of food services and their breakfast buffet was absolutely delightful with panoramic view of the mountain. They also played really good jazz at the lobby bar during the evening Their staff was attentive and helpful. While the spa service was good, they booked my second appointment incorrectly on my departure date instead of the date that I stayed. Overall, it is a very good hotel

Room was just slightly dated, but still very nice. Communal areas and restaurants were modern and upscale. Diamond breakfast was an immaculate spread. On-site ski and boot valet (very conveneient). Still rental shop and Niseko gondola just outside. Truly a phenomenal ski-in-ski-out resort experience!

We had an amazing stay at Hilton Niseko Village with our family. The hotel is very comfortable, well-maintained, and very family-friendly. The facilities are excellent, with beautiful views and very convenient access to the ski area. What truly stood out was the outstanding hospitality from the staff. Everyone was warm and helpful, but a special thanks to Kim, a Hilton staff member from Indonesia. Kim provided exceptional service, always kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made us feel very welcomed and at home during our stay. Thanks to the great facilities and outstanding service, our family had a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for families, and we would definitely love to come back again!

Loved this hotel - both robes and yukata in the room, a nice onsen with Pola skincare products, ski-in/ski-out with ski equipment valet, on-site equipment rental, several on-site options for restaurants as well as very close walking distance to the village, an airport shuttle service, a kids playroom on floor 2, and most importantly, a very hospitable staff. The bathrooms are dated but clean, the rooms are decently sized, and the electrical outlets accommodate both domestic and international guests. This hotel is extremely busy but it's structured in a way that doesn't create many bottlenecks. Check in was well-staffed and efficient, and the elevator bay was spacious with plenty of lifts. We really appreciated the drink tickets for Diamond members, and the kids loved the in-room gifts - sponges, toothbrushes, etc. - and the cute towel animal! My only complaint is there is no on-site self-laundry that we've come to expect from hotels in Japan. There is laundry service, of course, but it's quite expensive and not something you can do on a whim in the evening once you've got your kids down so it's all dried and ready for the next morning. That was a small bummer. Overall, I'd give this hotel a 4.5/5 stars. Thank you for the wonderful, memorable stay and the extremely friendly service!

***An Expansive Buffet...with Finest Live Music...and a Very Relaxed Environment*** Firstly, I just HAVE to mention the singer....she had such a BEAUTIFUL VOICE ........that I almost didn't even hear the LOUD noise of a plate shattering on the floor (It was dropped by a little kid who had put more food on his plate than he could carry) And.....after this little incident was over, I went back to listening to that soothing live music. Kudos to the Piano player too ..... the music helped create a truly relaxing atmosphere. Coming to the most important aspect... the FOOD of course! It was a buffet and had a larger number of food choices than most other buffets you might come across. Thats obviously a plus point... if you're a foodie like me. Me thinks...THE BEST PART was the grill station where they had the the beef, turkey, chicken, Squid, Scallops and Abalone. At this station, the seafood was placed in shells and then presented over little PEBBLES.... ABSOLUTELY loved this presentation... (see attached image). Other than that, there were various other stuff to try such as Fried rice with Prawns and Mussels (ANOTHER standout), pastas, lamb curry, grilled mackerel/salmon.... the list goes on. There was also a kids section (mostly potato wedges and fried chicken).... and a FRUIT/SALAD section with decent selection of fruits .... but a CARNIVORE like me wouldn't even go near that section.... The staff were quite friendly. The seating and the lighting were prefect. The standouts were obviously the: 1) Live Music and 2) that Grill station I mentioned above. These 2 reasons should be enough for visiting MELT....whether you are staying at The Hilton or elsewhere in Niseko.

The two stars are for the spacious & warm interior that greets you as you enter from the cold & shed your layers. Also for the large windows that open towards the Niseko Gondola and the Annupuri rise beyond. A third star would go to the meals had they had met an acceptable mark but alas no. My Hokkaido fish burger was somewhat bland and would not even rate a comment on the Adelaide burger scene. Along with a standard Sapporo classic, and 8% tax & 13% service charge, because it was brought to me I guess, both the meal & price of over $41AUD left me feeling empty. They are supposed to ask you if you want to be charged in Yen or AUD but didn't do so. TIP - due to exchange fees I suggest always opt for local currency. I'll mention my mates Caesar salad. Whilst it tasted okay it was really all lettuce with croutons you could easily count, little bacon & not much else for almost $25AUD. Niseko actually has good food options and you can do a lot better than the Hilton.
