Loved this hotel - both robes and yukata in the room, a nice onsen with Pola skincare products, ski-in/ski-out with ski equipment valet, on-site equipment rental, several on-site options for restaurants as well as very close walking distance to the village, an airport shuttle service, a kids playroom on floor 2, and most importantly, a very hospitable staff.
The bathrooms are dated but clean, the rooms are decently sized, and the electrical outlets accommodate both domestic and international guests.
This hotel is extremely busy but it's structured in a way that doesn't create many bottlenecks. Check in was well-staffed and efficient, and the elevator bay was spacious with plenty of lifts.
We really appreciated the drink tickets for Diamond members, and the kids loved the in-room gifts - sponges, toothbrushes, etc. - and the cute towel animal!
My only complaint is there is no on-site self-laundry that we've come to expect from hotels in Japan. There is laundry service, of course, but it's quite expensive and not something you can do on a whim in the evening once you've got your kids down so it's all dried and ready for the next morning. That was a small bummer.
Overall, I'd give this hotel a 4.5/5 stars. Thank you for the wonderful, memorable stay and the extremely friendly service!
